The Wild West
In the year 1890, the wilds of the western parts have yet to be tamed. Small human towns have been set up, yes, but that doesn't mean the west is won quite yet. Few cowboys and cowgirls dare to venture outside the town limits into the untamed wilderness, and those who do may not return. The western wilderness holds many dangers; from ruthless bandits to wolves and bears, a lone human rarely stands a chance in these unforgiving environments. Think you have what it takes to survive?

Welcome to the town of Wrathlake
In the south-west sits a small town by the name of Wrathlake. For its size, it provides a decent living for all kinds of folks. It includes a saloon, general store, gunsmith, blacksmith, sheriff's office, jail, stable, doctor, and even a train station. It is the only sign of civilisation, barring the odd ranch or two, for miles. It's a tiny spit of humanity left to dwindle in the scorching heat of the Western Plains.
Far past the plains, and up on the mountain plateau lies an old abandoned, run-down town. This usually homes a couple ruthless gangs of outlaws. In the lands just past the plateau lives a large tribe of Native Americans, who are not too happy about the encroaching European-blooded men slowly taking over the land. How can the humans survive in this harsh landscape if they can't work together? It's not only the elements that can kill you. Your real enemy is closer than you think.

Current Plot
The Western civilisation always has held a certain obsession for treasure, so when word spreads of untold riches to be found on forbidden ground, people naturally start clamouring to find it. The first stop on this quest is Wrathlake, where all sorts of characters are bound to meet. This isn't a team effort, remember; winner takes all. Whether you want in on the money, or you're just up for an adventure - it's going to be one hell of a ride.
Obviously this roleplay is primarily character-driven. I want this to be relatively fast-paced, with no determined plot. All sorts of characters are welcome, from prostitues to bounty hunters - fill your boots! Pre-established relations would be an added bonus, but not necessary.

Characters
Characters include both humans and realistic animals. To play an animal character, a human character must also be played.
