"Alright listen here you sacks of shit. This is the Ironwell in the city of Asbasta. Like it or not, this is your new home. Follow the rules and you might survive your time here."
"Uh lieutenant, don't you think it'd be worth while to attempt to keep them sane-ish. Not like they can see the prison anyhow with the sacks over their heads. Although, it's like that for a reason."
"Well private, I'll speak to them however I please. Besides, they're here for a reason. It's not like the other prisoners will treat them any better than this, why not allow them to get used to it before hand."
"Attention all passengers, we will be docking in Ironwell prison loading bay 4 momentarily. Please remain seated and don't leave your transportation vehicle without assistance."
As the announcement was set off on all speakers, the undersea craft loaded itself into the bay area. Upon entering the loading bay, the driver reached for badge to show the officer on duty. Once formalities had been completed the craft was set into it's section. Not long after a small platoon of guards came by and opened the doors. All crew members saluted and dismissed the salute upon receiving one in return.
Five officers lined the sides of the interior of the craft. Each standing next to one of the new prisoners, upon intructing them to stand they moved behind them and had begun taking them to the medical bay. Every newcomer had to be brought for a check-up, coming from the surface down to these depths could pose a problem for some. The check-up was to examine for anything of that nature or any sort of illness they might have had. Once check-ups are complete, they fall in line for cell assignment and to get any belongings given to them by the prison. This usually consists of a bed mat and some clothing to wear. The sack itself can be used as the blanket which is why one isn't given to the prisoners.
"Attention all new comers. Welcome to Ironwell prison located in the city of Asbasta. We hope you enjoy your stay here, if you have any questions either keep them to yourself or speak to an officer about it, that is all."
The guards around the bunch of prisoners whom just arrived shared a slight chuckle before continuing down the path. The cold, empty halls were as such. As they went on it became louder. There were a handful of new arrivals waiting for check-ups and the belongings they'd be getting. "Well, looks like you arrived just in time. It gets quiet and lonely the later into the night it gets, be glad you're not some of those who arrive at times as late as 0430. It get's weird that late into the night."
It was true, with this being said the guards look about as did the nurses. Things would get weird that late but none the less it all had to get done.
Once all was said and done, everybody had their things and the sacks on the heads finally came off. Upon first glance around the prison all that could be seen was the large sorting room they were in. It was furnished as one might expect, the walls had artwork on them. They tried to give off a pleasant vibe with this room, that is until you were called upon to be escorted to the assigned cell.
"Well, let's get these guys sat down and figure out who goes where, some of you may or may not be cell mates. This will be decided shortly. For now make yourselfs comfortable in those seats there." Three of the guards kept watch for far from the seats the prisoners were set in, the other two headed towards the office in charge of cell assignment. Two of the prisoners were in need of tighter security, the other three could go to a lower security section. One in which the three girls could be cellmates, the two males might end out in solitary. Either that or one of the tighter sections, no cellmates in those area's. Couldn't risk the troubles that it could bring along.
Once the guards got the cell assignments they came back to the group of people. "Alright, you two, the men are going down to solitary for the time being. You girls are going to C-2 block, you'll all be sharing a cell so I hope you get along. If not that's your problem to deal with. Now that the cells are arranged, you'll be splitting up, you may see each other again. If not, let's just hope you didn't know each other very well."
Three of the guards went with Henneth and Aaron, the other two went with the girls to the C-2 block. Banter went back and fourth between the guards with each party, generally jokes shared about, nothing that serious was said. The group with Henneth and Aaron were more serious, they'd been on the job longer and knew not to get too comfortable inside of Ironwell, even more so when escorting some to solitary. Handcuffed or not, you could never be too safe. The blocks went by as they did, H-3, J-4, L-1.
After awhile they had entered an elevator and went down a few floors. The doors got heavier and more armoured as they went deeper into the prison. After awhile had passed they had reached Zeta block, it had it's full name for once. While they had Z block a few floors up, this was Zeta, or so it was called by most. The offical name for it was solitary confinement, not many happened to reside down here. Those who did deserved it, once they got past the security doors and entered the halls, they had guards post at each cell. They didn't take security lightly down here. Aaron was tossed into his cell first, F-2B. That was the markings of his cell. Henneth was tossed into H-3A, once each prisoner was in their cell, the doors were shut. There was no way for them to see outside of the cell, food was inserted through a push slot.
Up on the main floor, the three officers still joking about were just about at C block by now. They showed their badges and went through customs to get into any block. Upon completion they had one guard infront of the girls and one behind. As they went through the halls and up some of the stairs they came to a halt outside of cell R-8G, large enough for the three of them, just barely but it was large enough for them. The guard infront opened the cell door and motioned them inside, the guard behind made sure to give a little shove to get them started. Once they were inside the door was closed and locked. "You'll be escorted for certain activities, meals or outdoors in the courtyard. Prisoners are allowed outside of their cells at certain points during the day, officers will still patrol the area as usual. Behave or take the punishment, that's up to each of you." The guards chuckled amoungst themselves and then left.
The new arrivals were situated now, the two serial killers in solitary, the weaker, less to worry about girls were in C block. All was assigned correctly and people could rest from this point, if they did or not was their choice. The guards jobs were done, they escorted new arrivals to their cells and made sure nobody lashed out towards anybody. The five guards met up in the break room and had begun conversing about themselves or their buddies. It was late in the night and most of the lights were out. Many were asleep, some happened to be awake more than likely not for long, they were curious as to the new arrivals. Not something that was uncommon in Ironwell, many prisoners watched the new comers get settled, if it was earlier in the day ruff them up a little bit.
"Attention those inside of Ironwell, following customs all lights but hall lights will be shut off at 2245. Make use of these last few minutes if you please. This is lieutenant Davis wishing you all a good night."
