Day Five

Whoa! That piece of concrete went far. They are definitely going to have to test the limits of her powers. Same with everyone else. This was gonna be so freaking awesome. They were like a post-apocalyptic X-Men team for sure now. Jake looked to Trinity and said, "Okay, that was awesome. I can't wait to see what everyone else can do."

Then Jake started to think about what Trinity mentioned earlier. Teaching each other the skills they know. Sure it seemed like a good idea and they had a wide variety, but what would Jake teach. He was only preparing to become a cop while they had some military personal who were guaranteed to know much more than he did. "Yeah, learning how to do new things would be cool. I bet you'd be an excellent teacher." Jake developed a slight frown on his face. He wanted to be helpful to others, but he was coming up short on what he could do. Jae can make fire and that is really useful. Kai is one of the most lighthearted and jovial guys around to keep everyone happy. The Commander already knows a large majority of the things Jake knows and even more. Kwan is apparently super fast. Then there is Trinity with super strength. She'll probably be able to help people the most. All Jake could do was go through things.

Suddenly Jake had an idea. He's read so many comic books, watched all of the superhero movies, and pretty much knew the characters and more importantly their abilities better than anyone he's ever met. Maybe, just maybe he can help people learn to use their powers as best they can without hurting themselves or others. However, almost as soon as he got his hopes up he was feeling down again. Would anyone care to listen to him about that stuff, or would they just brush him off and not listen? Jake looked to Trinity and asked, "What do you think I could add to the pool of knowledge?"

Lex and Kwan

When Kwan spoke of her Uncle Monkey, he could tell how much she missed him just by her tone, so he decided he wouldn’t push on the subject too much. Lex learned real fast that some people needed you to tiptoe around their past. It was not the case with everyone, but when you have a bunker full of people who have lost people in their lives, there are bound to be many sore spirited ones, even if they hide it like he does. He returned Kwan’s smile when she spoke about her previous life.

“Little Whirlwind, huh?” Lex said with a grin. “Sounds like the type of character with a lot of energy, though I’m not sure what a martial artist acting troupe is. It sounds like a traveling group of martial arts actors… Am I close?” Lex asked as the two entered the bunker. The first thing he noticed was the smell of cooked meat that hit his nose pleasantly. This was good, because he was just starting to get hungry. So you plan to mix this stuff with the meat? Genius!” Lex complimented before the two finally reached the cafeteria. “Oh and as for me. I’m ust your average college student trying to major in bio.” Lex shrugged while tilting his head to the side. “Man it looks like a lot of people are digging in. Are we late? If we are you’re free to delay your end of our little bargain. It’s only fair, right?” Lex said before noticing the eyes in the cafeteria focused on the cart. As always people were curious about things brought back from outside. “Hey if you quit stuffing your faces for just a bit, Kwan and I can start on some stew!” Lex announced as the cart was pushed towards the kitchen. “Just between you and I, I suck at cooking.” Lex whispered to Kwan before chuckling.

LEX & KWAN

Kwan smiled and answered Lex’s question on what a trope was Yes I was an actress who specialized in martial arts action movies. It is unfortunate that those things it now seems are a thing of the past and right when I gain an ability that might have made me bigger than imagined.

She let him keep talking as they pushed the filled cart into the cafeteria and the smell of meat was already tugging on her hunger. She practically wanted to lunge at the tray of cooked pig when she heard Lex talk about stew.

I might prep some of the veggies for stew but think that should wait till later so that we can have it for breakfast because cooking it now might be a bit of a waste considering they’ve already cooked so much meat.

Besides work makes me so hungry that people are in danger

Jake asked her "What do you think I could add to the pool of knowledge?"

She laughed softly before answering First I’d say you’re actually selling yourself short on the subject and I’m sure as we go along we’ll all discover each of us has many skills that the others aren’t familiar with and where we duplicate it’s even better because there will be a better chance we have more detail on those subjects.

I have practical knowledge that you have to learn by observation; one of the things I can think of right off is that I know how to build a smokehouse so we can preserve meats and fish like our great grandparents. I also know how to build a log cabin, a waterwheel with a griststone though I admit that task might require some practical experience to get right[/color]

Then she heard the gate guards calling everyone inside for the night and can’t help but giggle as she says We better get inside before the streetlights come on

Cody looked around the kitchen. It was spotless and he stretched and cracked his neck a little. He glanced at Audrianna and smiled. Walking over to her he smiled and yawned a little. It had been a crazy day. Most everyone had received their power today or were still sick and getting better. He looked out into the cafeteria and there were a few stragglers left in there goofing off or talking. Cody hugged Audrianna and kissed her forehead.

"I've got to check on the doors and make sure things are as they should be. I'll see you in the morning. Ok?" He looked into her eyes and smiled as he bent down and lightly kissed her lips. "Goodnight Audrey."

Cody walked out of the cafeteria and made a right towards the front doors. The outter doors were closed. As he went past the boiler room he heard an odd noise and when he opened the door he cursed. "Son of a -" He hurried over and closed off the pipes and turned off the boiler. There was no water coming through to the boiler. That meant no hot water at all and that meant that the water was not coming into the pipe at all. Cody figured that meant that the water recycling system had broken or there was a leak somewhere. He started tapping the pipes lightly to see if there was water in them. He remembered that he had seen Harley in the cafeteria and he walked back to the lunch room and saw that she was no longer there and picked up the pace and caught her walking and yawning to her room.

"Harley, I need your help. I think we are out of water. Can you come help me with this? Please, if that isn't the problem I'm going to be up all night trying to fix it."

Harley had stopped and turned around when she heard her name. She yawned and nodded and started walking back with him. She saw others going to their rooms and some going into rooms with others. She liked Cody but she was a little irritated at his timing. She past the lunch room and followed him to the boiler room. She walked out of that room to the water recycling room and stopped.

"Cody? Isn't there supposed to be water in there?" She turned and looked at his pissed off expression.

"Supposedly." He said letting out a deep and frustrated breath. He looked at the bottom of the pool and asked, "Can you fill the pool and we can figure out where all the rest went tomorrow? I'm betting it leaked out on the outside piping because we aren't seeing any other water anywhere else."

Harley nodded and started filling the tank up with fresh clean water. "Thanks Harley."

"It's okay Commander." She murmured. When the pool was filled he went back and turned the boiler back on and Harley yawned and walked back to her room and leaned against it for a moment almost asleep on her feet. It had been a really long day and all she wanted was sleep. She used her key to unlock her room and went inside. Shoving the door closed she dropped her jacket and shoes on the floor as well as her pants and top. Sliding into her bed only in her underclothes she was asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Cody went into his office and wrote in his journals as to what happened today. There was so much that had happened and he recorded everyone getting powers, hunting and lastly the water problem. By the time he finished it was close to midnight and he had fallen asleep with his head on his desk.

LEX & KWAN

Kwan looked at Lex and became a blur of motion as she fetched several plastic crates and separated the Veggies and the Peaches in less than a minute emptying the cart. Then in several trips she carried them into the kitchen and washed up before heading over to the table with the cooked meat.

She didn’t get much but more than you’d expect but what she did get she inhaled while walking towards the wash up area where she noticed there was a stack of dishes needing cleaning so she went into action turning the action of washing into a juggling act slash martial arts exhibition. She wasn’t showing off but she was using it as a training exercise and a way to test her new physical limitations.

It was actually fun rather than work because she wasn’t moving all that quickly from her perspective but she was sensing her world in slow motion which was delightful so she began smiling and trying hard not to laugh out loud.

She dried and stacked the dishes by imparting each with so rapid a rotation they floated into position centrifugal flinging any water on them off just before they landed with a puff as the trapped air escaped from beneath. She turned the chore of dishwashing and training into a show that her teachers and the producers at her studio would have salivated over capturing on film and at first it made her a little sad till she remembered her art’s history; at one time they performed before the people of the land and the Emperors in ages gone by so there was still hope.

I think this may be fun Lex and when it’s fun it becomes easy; “It is doubt that clouds the mind and dulls the will”

I miss my Uncle in this hour till I remember he will always be with me through his lessons in my memory

Day Five

Jake smiled at the fact that Trinity wasn't going to easily let him talk like he couldn't be helpful. She mentioned a few really good things that would be amazing commodities for the group to have built. He could most certainly help with doing that. When Trinity giggled it brought a smile to Jake's face. Then her comment got him laughing a little bit. "Yeah, we don't need to be caught off campus after lights out." A much more vague joke but maybe she would get it.

While walking back to the bunker Jake couldn't help but steal a few glances over at Trinity as they walked. "Man, if you forget about all the crap that happened since that dumb asteroid hit you almost gotta admit it is kinda beautiful out here. If it weren't for the danger I honestly wouldn't mind camping out under the stars. What do ya think? Should we one night get everyone together to have a campout under the stars?"

Day 5: Night

Robert awoke with a headache, as per usual it seemed. The difference here was that, while previously he'd felt like a burly man had bashed his skull with a mallet, he currently felt like several burly men had taken jackhammers to his skull and by some cruel twist of fate, hadn't managed to finish him off. He closed his eyes and suddenly became very aware of his discomfort.

By some miracle, he managed to weakly twist himself to the side and began heaving. Fortunately, his stomach had been empty. The nausea was exponentially worse than before he'd gone to bed he was sure. It was as if someone had grabbed him by the ankles, hung him upside down, shook him and spun him and forced him to read tiny text while on a tiny rowboat in the middle storm in the middle of the ocean.

When he finally stopped heaving, he couldn't help but notice how parched he was. His throat hurt, his tongue felt like it'd swollen up from the dehydration, and his lips were thoroughly craccked. His stomach was twisting itself up in knots, his head was pounding, and he was desperately thirsty. Essentially, this was probably the worst day of his life, and he regretted waking up.

Robert slowly opened his eyes. His vision was blurry and it was dark in here, but he managed to make out some of his room from the light in the hallway.

Some kind person had left a couple of bottles of water nearby. With trembling hands, he reached over and snatched one up. He greedily guzzled down all the water left in the bottle. It wasn't enough, he was still desperately thirsty. He reached for the second bottle moments before his body revolted. He had drunk the water too fast, too soon. All the water he drank came back up and he was left with a bone-deep exhaustion.

Robert awoke in darkness. He must have passed out. There were still a couple more unopened water bottles left within reach. This time when he managed to get the water bottle to himself, he forced himself to let water trickle into his mouth. He'd take a sip, and then wait a few minutes then take another. It was agonizing. He was so thirsty he didn't even notice the sour taste on his tongue.

When he finished the water he found he didn't have the energy left to move anymore. He closed his eyes.

Day 6 10:35 am

After speaking with Jae and Harley about their powers along with Nina coming into the picture, Kai went to help her get the water she needed which was actually for the plant and not the cute woman. Kai brought to her attention that she could have powers ike the rest of the people that survived the sickness. Of course, she didn't believe at first but the way she kept going back to the plant and acting weird around it, this hinted that her abilities revolved around them and it was for certain when Kai insulted the plant and angered Nina to the point that the plant itself grew about 5 times it's size and sort of mutated.

It was enough to shut Kai up but once he excused himself from Jae, Harley, and Nina, he went into his room to practice a little until falling asleep and waking up the next morning, sticking to the ceiling. A bit shocked and looking to get down, Kai discovered something new, sticking to the wall.

Nina woke up the next morning with her newly mutated plant that cracked the pot it's in. Looking over and smiling at it, she stood, taking the plant with her to water it a little more and wanted to find Harley after Kai told her about the woman's ability to produce water. On the flip side, she was afraid of Jae because of his fire ability and the destruction it would cause. Nina claimed the plant felt all of this. She walk out into the hallway only to catch a weird visual of Kai wall crawling out of his room and on the walls of the hallway.

Shaking her head she called out Kai...as weird as it looks with you.....crawling on the wall...I...I think that a bit interesting and I'm sorry for lashing out at you but....this plant....it seems to feel. I think you hurt it's feelings... she said. Kai looked back, still on the wall Plant's have feelin- okay well...I won't call it stupid again. What are you doing? he asked her. I'm looking for Harley....have you seen her? she asked Nope...just got out here...you may have to go check around a bit. he said continuing his wall crawling. He wanted to prepare for the outside since he wanted to hunt some food.

Nina nodded and continued her search.

JAKE & TRINITY

Trinity laughed as they walked past the doors I’ve always wanted to build a log ranger’s tower with a little cabin in the sky on top and maybe some other structures but first I need to build a forge so I can make some tools out of the local scrap metal. I rekon with my muscle that I can tap out some nice tool steel.

I could make me some axes that could handle my new found strength and clear some trees for the building of fortified structures; too bad we don’t have an Earth elemental because that would make excavation cake.

DAY 6

Trinity always an early riser woke and grabbed a drink of water then a quick bite to eat before heading outside dressed in her carhart canvas overalls and work boots and headed down to the river with the intention of carrying out a plan she’d formed just before she fell asleep last night.

On her way to the water’s edge she picked up a 3” thick tree that was about 15’ in length making her appear to be heading down to the fishing hole with a makeshift fishing pole. She stopped at the water’s edge and looked around and was soon rewarded by one of the crocs popping up near her and trying to slink forward in an attempt to add her flesh to its monthly caloric intake; big mistake on it’s part.

As soon as it got close enough she smacked it in the head with her enormous club shattering its skull; she was planning on clearing this section of river from the scally predators.

Day 6:Morning

Robert awoke miserable. He was feeling much better now. It only felt like a trio of burly men had beaten his skull with rubber mallets for one thing. For another, his stomach had settled enough that he only felt like he was on a tiny boat in the middle of the ocean in a mild storm. He was actually feeling human enough to notice the smell and the unpleasant grimy feeling in his mouth.

He managed to ease himself off the bed. It took a minute to steady himself from the sudden bout of dizziness before he began the task of stripping his bedding. He managed to ease his door open with a big armful of sheets and pillow cases and blankets bundled up in his arms. He looked around the hallways. Either it was too early for many people to be out and about, or it was late enough that no one was wandering the hallways of the living quarters.

He set off for the laundry rooms. This was getting to be a routine, he felt.

It took a lot longer for him to get to the laundry room than he had expected. His limbs were trembling by the time he'd made it there and he had to fight off bouts of dizziness on the way there. However, once he'd gotten to the laundry room, it hadn't taken long for him to load his laundry.

Another half hour later, and he was in the showers. With how weak he felt, he was careful to always lean against a wall to prevent himself from slipping. He reveled in the sensation of clean skin as he washed off the accumulated sweat and grime. He couldn't help but notice that he seemed even thinner than before. He frowned. That would have to be remedied soon. When he was done, he was feeling almost human.

He made his way to the dining area and stumbled upon the breakfast preparations. Apparently he had woken up early, rather than late. He paused then made his way to the kitchen area. The scent of food was like a stab to the gut.

He couldn't remember when he'd last eaten. In fact, it just occured to him that he didn't even know how long he'd been sick. He hesitantly approached one of the people preparing breakfast.

He opened his mouth to ask a few questions, and found that it took a few tries before he could get a sound out. He cleared his throat and managed to croak out, "Uh, sorry to bother you, but what day is it?"

Day 6 8:30am

Harley woke up and rubbed the sleepy out of her eyes and stretched out really well. Then she laid there and looked up at the ceiling and closed her eyes a minute. The tears slid out before she could stop them. She was lonely, she missed her parents and her friends. Harley was wondering what they would think of her having a power. She knew she could do good with it and that was what she intended to do with it. She intended to make a difference with her power. That being thought she got up and wiped her eyes dry and got dressed. She slipped her shoes on ran a brush through her hair and walked out her door and headed towards the commanders office.

Once there she opened the door to find him asleep on his desk. She made a face at the thought of how his neck was going to be a little stiff. "Hey! Commander Cody!" She watched as he started to stretch and wake up. "Come on we gotta find that water leak/problem, right? Let's go!"

Cody grumbled a little and stood up and popped his back. He grabbed the book on plumbing in this building and followed her out. Harley headed to the intercom and made an announcement to the entire bunker. "There is a Water pipe problem somewhere in the lower pipes going to the backup reservoir and we will be working on it today. The water will be on and off intermittently. Do not count on it to be reliable today. Sorry for the inconvenience guys!"

A few minutes later they had backtracked the blockage to the pipes that were underground that went from the backup water reservoir that was another 30 feet under the bunker. "Holy crap!" Harley said as she and Cody looked down this pipe through a plumbers camera. "Tell me if you are seeing what I am seeing? Is that a tree root?"

Cody took a look and his face paled a little. "Yeaaah, it sure is and it's too far down to get to. We can't fix that without digging up half of the bunker on this end." He took a valve to the reservoir and closed it off and looked at her. "Can you refill the water reservoir regularly for us?"

Harley nodded, "Looks like I'll need to, so yes I'll do that every day and I'll check it at night before bed." She went to the water reservoir in the main section of the pipes and held out both of her hands and water started flooding the reservoir. Twenty minutes later it was full and he turned the water back on.

The Commander went to the intercom. "This is the Commander. The plumbing issue can not be resolved. There is no way to repair the pipes between the backup reservoir and the main line. This means that we will be limited on water at certain times of day." Cody grinned and said, "Our very own Water Goddess Harley has agreed to refill the reservoir for us daily so at least we will still have clean safe water. Good morning, Good hunting, stay safe out there today and look after each other."

Harley came around the corner with a funny look on her face. "Water Goddess? I think I like that title." She said and she walked into the cafeteria. He went back to his office to record the plumbing issues into the proper journal and get what he needed to take inventory of the plumping tools and pieces that they had just in case they needed them.

Day 6 7:50

Grayson awoke with a groggy mind and growling stomach.

He had spent the previous afternoon searching for whatever oddity had caused the moment of panic in his mind, however without luck. He had stumbled upon various other bunker mates, each of then rather concerned with his appearance, however he had brushed them off and continued on his quest to locate by the disturbance.

Grayson had searched for what had felt like hours, however no matter where he looked, nothing had stood out to him. Finally, after a long evening of searching practically the entire base, he had returned to his room with weary legs and a churning stomach to rest.

The Astral projector's sleep had been poor in quality, tormented by fits of nausea and vomited throughout the night hours. Off-balance hormones and negative emotions from the trauma he had recently experienced hadn't done much to contribute to his health, and these also affected his sleep.

By the time he had awoke, Grayson was a stinky, disheveled mess.

The showers were his first stop that morning. He undressed as quickly as he could manage, careful to avoid moving his abdomen too much; it was quite sore from the frequent vomiting.

He stepped into the warm water with a sigh of satisfaction, allowing the hot liquid to course over his bare skin and slowly degrade the layer of grime his body had accumulated.

Grayson took a moment to look over his body, noting the smalls scars, discolored skin, and malnourishment this past year had brought him.

The pain of losing his family was still fresh, as if the asteroid had crashed yesterday, however he pushed it aside, focusing merely on himself.

His discolored fingertips traced gently over his scars, disrupting the water patterns as he attempted to recall every memory that accompanied each scar.

One from when u dropped a shovel on my foot. One from a fight in eleventh grade when I got clawed on the forearm. One from when I nicked my chin shaving. One from my appendicitis surgery.

More often than not, he was unable to recall the origin of a scar.

Grayson heard someone else entering the room and quickly shut off the water, grabbing a towel and drying himself off before wrapping it around his waist and making his way back to his room. The cool air on his bare chest caused his hair to stand on end. His nausea was greatly reduced, however the dizziness still remained.

After dressing himself in a pair of grey sweatpants and a blue hoodie, Grayson made his way to the dining hall, his bare feet slapping on the cold tiles.

The man grabbed a bowl of questionable liquid and took a seat at one of the dining hall tables, wolfing it down without a second thought.

Grayson briefly considered grabbing another bowl, hesitant about being greedy, however he reasoned his doubt away by justifying it with the fact that he hadn't eaten the day before.

Shortly after running into Kai and excusing herself while her comrade continued wall crawling, Nina rushed to the cafeteria. She heard the intercom go off as the commander explained the issue. Nina was a little worried I hope she won't have a problem helping me with this plant... she thought, rushing into the cafeteria and into the back while calling out.

Harley?....Harley are you in here? she said and nearly getting frustrated wondering if Harley left yet.

Day 6 9:30am
Harley had just walked into the cafeteria and saw Grayson. She noticed he looked a little too thin. Harley went into the back and pushed another bowl in front of him. "Gray you look like you don't feel well. Are you alright?"

Hearing her name she looked up and she saw Nina rushing towards her. She looked like something was on her mind. "Everything okay Nina?"

Harley noticed the plant in a pot that it was near to overflowing out of. "What happened to your plant?" Harley asked her noticing that the young woman was indeed somewhat focused on the plant's condition.

Grayson stared blankly at his bowl of food, his mind still groggy from his restless sleep.

"Gray you look like you don't feel well. Are you alright?" Harley's voice snapped him awake, causing Grayson to look up to see her vibrant eyes staring back at him.

"Hey-!" Before Grayson could respond, a female voice cut through the air. A girl, identified as Nina, ran up to Harley holding an odd looking potted plant.

Grayson was a little disappointed that Nina had taken Harley's attention from him, however he was also grateful that he didn't have to talk about how poor he felt; it embarrassed him to be so weak while everyone else was up and about.

Coming up and noticing that Harley was there, she lit up and headed towards her but looked over at Grayson Oh um....I'm sorry Grayson....I didn't mean to cut in on you two but this is an emergency... she said as she turned to Harley Harley...please...I need some of your water...for this plant...it still needs nutrients...the plant grew with my help....it's with me...no....I'm with....um....we are one now....I think I...I have powers....Kai said that I could be controlling plant growth or something like that. I can feel the plants condition... She said It still wants water...can you help it...please? she said

Despite making it grow the way it did, her growing influence slipped which led the plant to have a want for water again. Nina was still learning her abilities but if she wasn't careful she'd lose control.

Day 6 9:30am
Harley looked down at Nina's plant and smiled. "Of course I can. You should really put it in something larger though or the roots will not have enough room to grow and it could die. Hmm, Wait right here a minute."

Harley went into the kitchen in the back and grabbed one of the clean mob buckets and carried it back to Nina. "You would be best off putting it in here so the roots can expand a bit." Harley picked up the plant carefully, pulling it and most of the dirt into the bucket. She gave the roots more room and then she watered it good giving the plant all it needed to continue to grow. "Is that better? Did you need anything else? That must be pretty cool if you can control plants and that could be HUGE in the useful categories as far as our food supplies. You can help us with that in a big way!"

Harley could tell by looking at her that Nina had little ideas of all that she could do with her power. "Do you realize what all you can do with your power? You can make plants grow or die. You can make them protect you or fight for you during an attack. You can do a lot. Go look in the library for the movie Sky High. You'll love it. The main girl in there has that power. Maybe it will help you figure out your power faster." Harley hugged her and looked over at Gray.

Harley sat down next to Grayson and put her hand on his forehead. He didn't feel hot like he had a fever. "Did you sleep at all? You just look tired and too thin. What's going on with you? What power did you get? Is there anything I can do to help you?"

Jason Lander

Jason had been doing important work. Well, important to him. He'd been scanning blood samples from himself to figure out how the powers work. He wasn't much of a science nerd or anything, but he did have some biology training. Nothing peculiar had turned up. "Hm." he muttered to himself. He decided that it might be a good idea to look for food, water, and such. Going to where most of the people are, he asked "Does anyone want to go forage for food and stuff?" he asked. He hadn't slept too much. Research. He did need to do his part, though. He shrunk down quick and began running around, kind of training himself in a way. He jumped from table-to-table, room to room, and even outside a bit. He grew back and stood by people. "So, does anybody want to?"

"Did you sleep at all? You just look tired and too thin. What's going on with you? What power did you get? Is there anything I can do to help you?" Harley was sitting next to Grayson, her hand on his forehead. He hands were cool against his warm skin. Her concern was appreciated, however the amount of questions made him hesitate.

"Yeah, I got some sleep," Grayson twirled his spoon in his bowl, breathing deeply. "Though not that much-, wait powers?"

He furrowed his brow and stared intently into the woman's brown eyes, searching for an answer. His recent experiences of sickness had kept him out of the loop. Then again, he had seen some pretty strange things. His disembodied experience, the odd telepathic visions... He had seen some odd water theatrics when he was in the bathroom with Harley, however they weren't exactly what he was focus on at the time. For a brief moment, he smirked, remembering the shower room experience, however he quickly pushed it out of his mind, somewhat out of respect for Harley, but mostly because of his curiosity. His heartbeat quickened, excited by the prospect of odd abilities.

"What exactly do you mean by 'powers'? Like, superpowers, with fire and ice and flying?" He cleared his throat and slowed himself down. His words were coming out in a jumbled mess, likely too fast for Harley to understand. "Has everyone been showing signs of powers?"

Day 6 9:40am
Harley realized that Grayson hadn't been around others to know about the powers yet. "Gray? You don't remember water shooting out of my hands in the bathroom? Or Jason shrinking to about the size of an ant in your room?" She blushed at having remembered the rest of the details in the girl's showers. She nodded.

"Everyone has received something in the way of new abilities or powers. I've got water, Jae got fire, the commander got healing, Kwan got speed and there are many more that I can't think of right now." Harley reached over and put her hand over the empty bowl and wiggled her fingers and water came out of her fingertips and filled the bowl until she moved her hand stiffening it up and removing it. Harley smiled and watched his expression when she had filled the bowl with water.

"You should feel different somehow I would think. Physical or mental powers I would think mental powers would be more taxing on you though. I'm sorry I didn't stay with you longer. I had to figure some things out about my powers and you weren't making sense at the time so I left Jason with you. I should have stayed."
