  Himeko is far from an early riser and the morning makes her extremely sluggish. She'll spend most of the morning getting ready to go out and applying makeup and accessories. Her tone of voice isn't ear bleeding high but is rather high, she'll habitually end her sentences with 'Ne' to soften her sentences and add an atmosphere of cuteness to her side of the conversation. She'll always be seen with a somewhat smug expression and can often make insults disguised as compliments, but only if she's in the mood to pick on people.
  
  Himeko adores attention and wants to be the center of it, the most popular, the cutest girl ever. Because of her greatest desire she'll do almost anything to be seen as the best. Many of her abilities involve sapping strength or inhibiting others to make herself stronger. Her true fear is being forgotten and a failure. It's unclear if this is because of her acute selfishness or a sense of rock hard pride. But if things started going south and Himeko was unable to recover, she may resort to drastic measures.
  
  Whenever Himeko meets somebody new for the first time, her eyes dart up and down sizing up and accessing how to interact with this new person. She does this to remember important features that can be exploited and to find apparel weaknesses in a person just to boost her already inflated ego. Although she rarely attempts to make friends with anyone, the inner circle of friendship she prefers to be with are ones she finds extremely valuable and doesn't take the friendship with any shallow nature. Prioritizing discussion, an exchange of ideas and trust when deciding who are valuable to her and who are not. Towards her close allies Himeko can be compassionate and extremely helpful, but if lied to or betrayed she may never be able to forgive someone. Towards regulars she has no care for she can be arrogant, sarcastic and fairly dismissive.
  
  Himeko is indifferent towards animals. She's never owned a pet, when asked if she would like one, she rapidly shakes her head explaining that it's not worth the massive responsibility. When asked if there's anything she would change about herself, it'd normally be something along the lines of What would I wish to change? He he he... Nothing! I'm perfect the way I am!
• Skills: Himeko is actually rather skilled with somethings, she's not just all talk. She's skilled in dessert making, singing, dancing and other forms of performance. She's no genius, but she has an above average intellect.
• Abilities:
  Her Magic is of a darkness variety and can be cast in a few simple ways
  -Soul Sucker: Jabbing the hilt of her scythe in the ground will send a dark shock wave across the floor, anything that touches it will be met with a painful dark shock draining some of their combat power. This drain can and will effect allies as well if they're caught by it.
  -Midnight Lancet: When her scythe is infused with enough energy it sparks an intense purple beam and can be swung to slice dark shock waves of energy.
  -Baden Baden Soul Lilly: An intense wind is created blowing all foes away inhibiting them with a negative aura that can diminish their power slowly.
• Weapon(s): Her weapon of choice is sharp wind slicing scythe that's as deadly as Himeko's wit. When Himeko uses her magic to drain the strength of foes, that that strength is transferred into her scythe for an increase in power.
• Brief History:Born February 9th,
  She lives with her mother and father, nether of her parents have are of extreme note and she's been an only child her entire life. Her mother was simple housewife, teaching Himeko house skills and everyday cooking skills whenever given the chance. Her father is a extremely successful businessman who always could afford expensive gifts for the family. Being an only child and always being doted on by her parent was heaven to Himeko and she used them to get anything she wanted.

  • Fairy Personality: Kali is sweet and loyal. She's basically Himeko's second more dotting mother. She'l do anything and everything for Himeko and often feeds into her illusions. She has her own agenda and normally directs Himeko on what to do since Himeko is only in the Magical Girl game for fame. Because of Himeko's more robust personality, Kali's ideas are often ignored.

Using western order for the Romanisation (Himeko Fuyuu) is fine, but East Asian names in character form always remain in eastern order.

Wikipedia uses the western order, as seen here, but they always use the eastern order too: (小泉 純一郎 Koizumi Jun'ichirō?). Changing the order basically changes how the name is written (and sometimes gets rid of some jokes that can be made too, such as I did with Hyoukyo).

Fixing 姫子富有 to 富有姫子 is like fixing Smith John into John Smith. It's just like using grammar correctly. I don't introduce myself to people outside of East Asia as 翾朱, I just use 朱翾 like I always do. Of course, when romanised, I give it in western order.

Himeko Fuyuu's fine, but using that order in the Japanese is blatantly incorrect if you want to write the name correctly. If you're supplying the name in the original Japanese, keep it in Japanese order. Localisation can occur once you transliterate it into the Roman alphabet and switch the name to western order.

Magical Girl Appearance: Upon Transformation, Hoshi’s garb becomes a blazing red, black, and gold uniform that harkens back, strangely enough, to the livery of the Prussian military of old, that might make you ask, "Ch-Char?" at first glance. While the heeled boots and long, flowing scarf may not seem combat practical to the average viewer, rest assured that Hoshi’s all action, high-octane, three-times-faster-than-you fighting style isn’t hindered in the slightest. Just like the glorious starburst emblazoned upon her chest, our girl is ready to race into the fray, as soon as she dons her shades after transformation!

Wouldn’t want Aniki to learn we’re endangering ourselves, after all.

Personality: Hoshi is an optimistic girl, whose basal state is the casually upbeat type of person who makes friends quickly and does so for keeps. She appreciates life in its utmost, and all of the beautiful little things in it, in her mind, should be cherished, because one never knows when they might be gone.

And that duality of nature is what drives her, beneath her easygoing, and at times almost breezy demeanor. She understands very deeply the importance of protecting that which she holds dear, and how suddenly, callously, and quickly life can flip itself upon its head and tear everything away if one isn’t careful. Not willing to let that happen in the slightest, Hoshi is always willing to do whatever it takes to hold them close. Running in the morning? No problem. Looking up martial arts and boxing training manuals online and practicing in the living room? Worth it. Making food when she can to help lighten her Aniki’s load? She’d do it every day if she could.

When a little girl is given a second chance at life, she’s bound to want to do two things: Make the most of it, and Give Back with all of her heart. She is a fiercely loyal friend who is nearly impossible to anger, let alone lose, and she will always have the backs of the people she cares about, no matter what their problems are. She knows firsthand how much of a difference having even one person there in a time of need can help someone.

As such, if you talk to her, you’ll find yourself conversing with one of the friendlier girls on this side of the planet. Though her decorum isn’t always up to snuff, there is no true impoliteness about her, save from the rare burst of a dry witticism. We can blame her Aniki for that one, given that such phrases are basically his primary form of communication. And while on the subjects of things good old Nakajima Kyotaro can be blamed for, let's discuss her tastes in entertainment. Being a guy living on his own, he didn't have much in the way of things that would interest the usual twelve-year-old girl, so she ended up making do with what he had to offer. One of her fondest memories was when they first watched a movie together, Enter the Dragon. From there, she found that, while she wasn’t lacking in traditionally “girly” tastes by any means (her wardrobe is a testament to this), she also had an untapped love for action, fighting, and other shonen stuff, much to his surprise. Even fighting games! He had to deal with her spamming Raging Demons for three weeks, once…

Despite her willingness to give most things a try, one line she definitely will not cross is that set by her moral compass. Her resolve to protect others is absolute, and she will never quibble on her sense of right and wrong. Everyone, however, deserves a second chance.

That’s a sure thing.

Skills: You mean besides making her Aniki worry? She’s a naturally fast runner, and while she never had the opportunity to get on the track team in middle school, she could often be seen running with them in the early mornings after the coach figured out she wasn’t hurting anything. As such, her stamina is also at a very high level for a young girl of her age, which helps her in her self-taught martial arts training. This training consists mainly of form work found off the internet, since Aniki won’t buy her a punching bag or something and for some reason she hasn’t looked into martial arts schools nearby. She’s a surprisingly good singer, at least during karaoke time, an increasingly experienced cook, and a thorn in her Aniki’s side in most fighting games by this point.

Abilities: Her magical girl abilities all revolve around one thing: raw speed. While her strength is indeed enhanced by the transformation, as it is for every magical girl, the gains made are dwarfed by those towards speed, agility, and reaction time. Simple and straightforward, much like her approach to fighting: Get over there and hit it a lot.

To that end, her “Special Moves” tend to take full advantage of her blinding speed, such as a “Gungnir Thrust”, which is essentially a flying side kick delivered at ridiculous speeds for the maximum possible impact, with a few directional variations. Another would be the “North Star Blitz”, which is perhaps even simpler— bunches and bunches of punches, all over and slipping through any opening they can find. The strangest of the lot is most definitely “Roar of the Dragon”, a punch thrown so hard and fast that the sheer force of air displacement alone is concussive, allowing her range to suddenly spike out by ten feet at this point in time.

And that’s to say nothing of all the other fun ideas Aniki’s shows and games have given her…

Weapon(s): Everyone who’s ever punched a wall knows—hands are pretty fragile. Even with proper form helping them out, there’s still only so much of an impact the knuckles can take, so with that in mind, what’s a girl like Hoshi to do? Those monsters aren’t going to punch themselves, after all, so her hands need protection.

What better than a pair of golden gauntlets, that seem to glow like the stars in the night sky? Providing both protection and additional power to her strikes, Hoshi’s fistic pursuits would get nowhere without her weaponry. They even come with Kung Fu Grip!

Brief History: Hoshi’s life was, in all honesty, very, very normal. She was a normal girl, who lived in a normal house with her normal parents going to a normal school five days out of the week. She was happy, healthy, and full of all the vitality you would expect from a young lady in modern day Japan.

Then, her parents died at twelve.

Hoshi’s world was destroyed by a random car accident one night. There was no warning, not even a premonition of it. Her parents simply never came back. After a numb pair of nights in the Social Services office, her next, and as it would appear, only of kin was called in—one 22 year old, gainfully employed, and very, very bewildered Nakajima Kyotaro. Her mother’s nephew, and apparently, only Plan B. The two didn’t know each other at all until that point. She didn’t even know who he was until he returned a few hours later— and explained to her that he’d decided to take her in, if she wanted to come with him.

Without uttering a word, she would leave at his side a few minutes and a bunch of paperwork later.

Over the next few weeks, she would begin to get settled into her new home and used to her newfound older cousin being like an older brother, having wisely decided to not try and replace Mama and Papa despite taking on their status of Legal Guardianship. It was a slow, painful process, but 3 years on into the present day, Hoshi and Kyotaro are now practically inseparable, and not a day goes by where she doesn’t try and give back however she can. If she were ever to count her blessings, her "Aniki" would doubtlessly be at the top.

Hoshi is currently enrolled as a first-year at East Umitori High School, in class 1-C.

Fairy Name: テンドウ (Tendou)

Fairy Appearance: Tendou is a small woman, as most fairies tend to be, roughly palm sized. Her favored garb is rather traditionally japanese in style, and her long, straight blue hair reaches roughly down to her mid-back, partially done up into a small ponytail on the side. Her wings are birdlike, reminiscent of an eagle’s, but obviously much smaller.

Fairy Personality: Someone stop this girl from watching so many samurai movies. Her usual demeanor is poised in the utmost, and her cool head is often crucial in tempering Hoshi’s more hotblooded tendencies. Seems to fancy herself a wordsmith, and will often spew quotes and poetry where the situation deems appropriate. The jury, however, is still out on whether or not she just makes most of it up. What is clear is that she definitely cares for and has faith in her young charge, no matter how stoic she may seem to be. The girl has been through so much.

The Divine Messenger Descends

• Name: Nadeshiko Nanako
• Magical Girl Title: Divine Messenger. Though she welcomes the use of "Inari", as well.
• Age: 18
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: A pleasant day.
• Magical Girl Appearance: Costume reference. Additionally, she wears a fox mask, as well.
• Personality:
  Quiet, ever-smiling, reliable... Nanako's almost demure attitude is a product of her strict upbringing; Coming from a moderately wealthy family, she was brought up on the belief she would provide the perfect wife to a suitable partner. Because of this, Nanako has had difficulty making friends, as she would rarely be allowed to play with them, and could never participate in whatever fad would pass through the school yard, due to the extra studying she had to undertake. A shame, considering Nanako's fairly outgoing and cheerful demeanour, which has slowly been shelved away to make place for the 'ideal' personality instilled within her.
  
  Luckily, thanks to her position as a magical girl, she's able to cut loose and play around as much as she likes, without fear of being recognised by classmates or family. Whenever she dons the persona the Divine Messenger Inari, Nanako becomes something of a playful trickster - While she'll fight off any Negari she happens to come across, Nanako spends just as much time messing around with fellow magical girls, provoking reactions from them for her own amusement. Of course, that's put to rest in the off-chance a Negari attack occurs, but otherwise, Nanako is likely not too popular with her fellow magical girls, and maybe even a divisive figure in popularity polls... when she isn't masquerading as someone else purely to mess with their ranks a little.
  
  Nanako, when not bound by her 'public' persona, or blowing off steam as a trickster fox, can be surprisingly down-to-earth. She may have been raised in an environment that screams of old-fashioned beliefs and restrictive access to modern technology, but Nanako is able to easily grasp the usage of technology, and does own a smartphone. Although she generally keeps to herself, Nanako quite enjoys lending a helping hand to struggling classmates with their studies, and assisting others whenever she can. Just about the only thing she's never been able to do is keep her cool around dogs. Wow, those things are scary.
• Skills:
  Nanako scores very well academically, and her upbringing has led to her developing "feminine" skills such as sewing, cooking and typical "house-wife skills", even if she has no patience for such things.
• Abilities:
  Aside from a general (and small) boost to strength and speed, enough to take on weaker Negari without much trouble, Nanako's powers are geared more towards deception and misdirection, with little in the way of direct offence.
  Fox Flame - Her only directly offensive spell; despite the name and appearance of bright blue flames, this attack isn't really a fire-based attack. Rather, it's more like a blast of magical power that Nanako can spread around in a manner similar to flames, but don't have the capability of burning things.
  Can You Find Me? - For a short time, Nanako is able to change her appearance into that of an inanimate object. Or, to be more accurate, project the illusion of doing so, allowing her to disguise herself as a rock on the side of the road, for example. Note that this does not change her physical presence in any way - punching the space above said rock would result in you hitting poor, defenceless Nanako in the face, you monster.
  Who's Behind The Mask?! - Assuming nothing interrupts her, Nanako is able to assume the appearance of another person for up to a minute. She inherits none of said person's abilities, and would have to rely on her acting talent to keep within character of whoever she's imitating. This is particularly fun for screwing with popularity polls, it turns out.
• Weapon(s): Not exactly a weapon, but her mask is an important tool to her magic. Aside from the welcome benefit of hiding her face, it also powers all of her non-fox fire magic. Dealing enough damage to break it, or even somehow removing it from her face, would be enough to render said abilities unusable until the mask is repaired or recovered. Good thing it's more durable than a typical kitsune mask.
• Brief History:
  A girl raised to be the ideal wife, Nanako strict upbringing was slowly wearing her out, and was actually quite close to falling into delinquency to relieve her frustrations, until she was visited by a fairy. Said fairy had felt the best way to introduce herself was to coat Nanako's bathrobe with itching powder, but about two hours and a flick to the head later, this fairy had offered Nanako something fantastical - a chance to be a magical girl.
  
  It took a little while to decide, but Nanako took the plunge and accepted, and for the past few months, has been able to enjoy herself without fear of being discovered, just as long as she doesn't spend too long playing around - after all, she's supposed to be studying quietly in her room, or attending cram school, not fighting strange monsters or pretending to be a giant bobblehead towering above a random magical girl.
• Fairy Name: Tamako
• Fairy Appearance: So innocent-looking.
• Fairy Personality: A trouble-maker that isn't above bending the rules slightly to make things easier for herself, and quite fond of the occasional prank, Tamako may seem like a bad role-model for Nanako (or the perfect partner to the Divine Messenger?), and some of her suggestions may not lead to the most optimal outcomes possible... but she certainly does care for her partner, and certainly won't tolerate utter chaos descending upon everything. Ultimately, she's looking to have some fun while she works, and has good intentions at heart.
