Okay, Cyborg it is, then.
Alias: Cyborg
Name: Victor Stone
Powers and Abilities: Cybernetic Enhancement: Victor has a wide array of technologies and abilities he can access with his robotic form.
> Computer Interfacing: Cyborg can connect and interact with any computer or similar system, due to the A-Maze Operating System installed within him. As Victor's cyborg body operates under the A-Maze OS, someone could very possibly hack Cyborg, albeit with some resistance on his part.
> Sensor Systems: Cyborg has optic, thermal and motion sensors, to just name a few. Others range from radiation detectors to magnetic scanners.
> Shape-Change: Cyborg's main arsenal comes from his ability to morph parts of his body (usually the arms) into different weapons and technological equipment. This is all powered by the A-Maze OS, which can copy and create the data necessary to make such morphs possible.
Gadgets include grappling hooks, winches, medical blades and lasers, telescopic eyepieces, and an experimental rifting device. His arsenal of weapons typically revolve around things like larger, more forceful fists, sonic disruptors and energy cannons.
Cyborg's ultimate weapon is a huge Wave Motion Gun, made out of both of his morphed arms and extensions of his back. The huge power output of this weapon can be focused or widened, depending on the desired damage focus and range of the attack. This attack can consistently drain 70% or more of Cyborg's internal power.
> Superhuman Durability: The nature of Cyborg's body provides him with natural body armor, while his bones are reinforced with molybdenum-steel. He can take a very heavy physical beating, though not to the degree that other major heroes can. Victor's body is especially resistant to most energy blasts that range through the light spectrum.
> Superhuman Stamina: The A-Maze Operating System, again, contribues heavily to Cyborg's design with nanites capable of maintaining his natural body to be at peak potential. Conventional diseases and viruses of any type are ineffective or otherwise quickly destroyed by Cyborg's superior internal defenses. Victor can always stay awake and combat-ready as long as his power core is well-charged; as energy is consumed or drained, Cyborg and his systems become notably more sluggish until they outright stop working when at critically low power levels. Victor can still operate for some time after his cybernetic body stop working, but if he can't recharge within 10 hours, he will die.
> Superhuman Speed: While Cyborg could easily outsprint any [human] Olympic athlete, this enhanced speed usually comes in the form of reaction time; impulses are milliseconds quicker, inadvertently leading Victor to become a lightning-fast caluclator.
> Superhuman Strength: At optimal capacity, Victor can lift/press in excess of 5 tons with ease. As he has upgraded himself over time, his peak strength output has fluctuated, but his current maximum power seems to yield around 15 tons; any more presents a severe, possibly fatal strain on his cybernetic components.
> Limited Teleportation: Cyborg wields an experimental quantum tunneling system intended to provide point-to-point apetures for instantaneous travel. It sounds unstable, and it is, but Cyborg has managed a way to stabilize this portal technology for personal use only. There are still plenty of circumstances in which Victor will refuse to use the device: he will not use it if there are any sort of possible distractions to him or the portal, he cannot create a portal stable or long lasting enough to transport any more matter besides Victor himself [give or take some], and creating a rift any larger than a 6 ft. diameter is out of the question.
Genius Level Intellect: In addition to his mechanical enhancements, Victor Stone possesses an "exceptionally gifted" level of intelligence; his IQ has been measured at 170, without the use of the A-Maze OS.
Back story: Victor Stone started out with arguably one of the best lives a child could hope for. Despite issues from growing up in the obviously troubled Detroit, Michigan, Vic went on to enter a successful experience in high school, between his excellent grades and the football team. The support from Dr. Silas Stone, a leading scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs Michigan, certainly helped.
However, there was plenty of antagonism present at S.T.A.R. Labs, well outside of Victor's knowledge. Silas found himself resisting the other scientists' influence to turn in his own son as a prime test subject for the many meta-human experiments persent. When such resistance turned to outright refusal, Dr. Stone became at threat of losing his job and fame. It went yet worse when S.T.A.R. tried to take Victor anyways by force.
Though Silas was able to stop Victor from being too brutally altered, the damage to Vic's psyche was already done. His grades dropped rapidly, and he only barely got past high school, disgusted at the betrayal of his father's work and depressed from the fact that Silas may not be able to support him again. No amount of apology from Dr. Stone's behalf would get him to keep his job for longer than a week after Victor graduated.
On the day of the attack: The surprise attack of the White Martians hit Detroit hard. All branches of S.T.A.R. Labs was immediately commisioned to supply weapons and technology to repel the alien invaders, with marginal successes. Silas had other plans; his family was hit directly by the attack, with Elinore Stone dead and Victor mortally wounded.
An emergency retreat to S.T.A.R. Labs, and later the Labs' reinforced Red Room, led Dr. Stone to, as a last resort to save his son, implant Victor with the prime meta-human technology that the Red Room could offer. With a high-energy power core and the incredible A-Maze Operating System, Victor was eventually restored, but not before A-Maze could absorb data on technology in the Red Room.
When the White Martians finally broke in, the cyborg that was Victor Stone, guided by A-Maze's own self-defense protocols, unleashed a Wave Motion Cannon. The resulting blast eliminated much of the offensive aliens, forced the rest to retreat, and destroyed much of the S.T.A.R. Labs facility. After some coming-to-terms with his new form, and a heart-to-heart with his father, Victor joined the fray against the White Martians, supplemented by A-Maze and its interfacing, weaponizing technology.
Since That Day: Though unable to go to colledge as he had hoped before, Victor was inspired to do good for the sake of the world. His implants made that significantly difficult, labeled him as a freak; Vic spent some time in a significant life crisis before the Martian Manhunter located him and offered a place and role for him. With the promise of his excellent knowledge and internal technologies being able to be put to good use without discrimination, Victor accepted.
Cyborg has been an instrumental part of what would become the Justice League, in both his connections to S.T.A.R. Labs as a resource for funding and technology and his personal aid in the assembly of the Watchtower. In this time he has also been able to associate with many of the heroes of the world, from Nightwing to Hawkgirl to J'onn J'onzz, and has become a rather charismatic individual. Even whilst the Watchtower was in an unfinished state, Victor would regard his building it to 'making a summer home'.
Vic has also participated in several major operations against crime, and has obtained all the more experience in combat with his new body. By the time the Watchtower was finished, it seemed to be speculated that Cyborg was close to reaching his peak potential under the limits of human technology; what could be possible with the alien technology in the Watchtower itself remained yet to be seen.
Character Aim: I want to portray Cyborg as a character that is rather insecure of himself. Given him and the abilities that the A-Maze OS grants him, he may feel rather alien at times around even other meta-humans, perhaps even in a literal sense as A-Maze starts processing the data from all of the alien tech aboard the Watchtower. It is because of this ability, though, that Cyborg may be a key part in harnessing alien knowledge to repel aliens, leaving Cyborg with a lot of potential risk and responsibility on his shoulders.
