Avary thought for a minute. "The secret passages. Which ome though? Aren't they all far away from this room?"

Amalia thought for a moment, and then came up with a few ideas. "Well, the only one I really know of the one in mother's rooms. But of course, if that didn't work, we could always go through one of the servant passages." Amalia said.

"That could work. But, that's assuming Dante isn't roaming the halls or the army came in already." He said thinking of possible exits.

Amalia smiled a bit. "I'm sure Father and Levi are still holding him up quite well. The horns sounded far off when they sounded. The army couldn't be here yet."

"OK. Then when should we go? If what you say is true, then wouldn't right now be the perfect time to go?" He asked.

Amalia laughed a bit. "That's what I was just about to say. Looks like you beat me to the punch, though. Let's go."

Elizabeth was caught between running for her life and helping the kingdom. She groaned and she finally decided to fight against the threat.

As soon as the drums sounded, Anne began to cry. She was terribly frightful. Before leaving, she decided to seek out Elizabeth. When she found her, she was trembling and crying in fear. "L-lizzie." Anne said while sniffling. "W-what's going on?"

Elizabeth held Anne close. "Annie...You need to listen to me....The kingdom is under attack, I must help the king. Now there is a tunnel to safety starting in the wine cellar behind a secret door...Find the tunnel, get the royal family to safety. It's time for me to fulfill my debt to the king."

Levi emerged from the clashing armies, stumbling. Blood poured out of an open wound on his arm. He couldn't see out of one eye. He stumbled across the field. He dropped his blade and kept forging ahead. Fatigue wore away at him. I have...to find my siblings. And say sorry. I've been such a prick. Levi laughed at that, and fell down. Next thing he saw was the open sky before he fell unconscious.

Anne just started crying more. "No, please, Lizzie! Come with me, we'll be safe!"

Elizabeth swallowed. Then she touched Anne's cheek. "I have a debt to fulfill to the king...If I don't do this, I'm not worthy of anything...Now please...Get the royal family to safety...they need you..It has been an honor to serve beside you, Annie Mason." She felt the pendant of her home kingdom cold on her chest, hidden by the dress she wore. She gave Anne a reassuring smile, then patted her shoulder. "Now go!"

Anne managed to nod through her sniffles. "May we meet again, Elizabeth." Anne said and then ran off.

Elizabeth went around and saw Levi unconscious and she ran to him, immediately beginning to heal his wounds using her magic.

Avary smiled at her and stood up. "OK, let's go."

Amalie opened the door of the room tentatively. Seeing that there were no visible enemies about, she began running towards her mothers room as fast as her legs could carry her, Harold and Avary in tow.

Avary ran quickly behind her. He looked around nervously watching out flr enemies. Luckily he saw none.

Amalia opened the door to her mother's chambers tentatively, then beckoned for Avary to go in first.

Avary nodded and went in, scoping the area for potential enemies.

Amalie went in after Avary, searching for the tapestry that hid the tunnels. Suddenly, she heard the sound of the armies getting closer. She went pale, but that steely glint remained in her eyes.
