I was more confused since normally the GM has right of first post so it was a bit of a curve ball.

Me and MissingAxis were chatting elsewhere about how we wanted to do first contact since I ended up placing myself right next to him on accident. We ended up deciding that the Terran Remnants initiating contact with the Ouroboros made more sense, so I threw up the first post to start things off with him.

Ah. Dragonruby and I decided to do first contact with each other and decided it would be best if his people visited my people, rather than vice versa. I decided to have him post ahead of me as my post would be mostly irrelevant to first contact.

I'm actually wondering if there would be any opportunity for the Ouroboros to already know of the Aztrovan Lineages due to the Mon'hali. Maybe that the Ouroboros were another race the Mon'hali fought or something? I'd assume that they would know of the Ivrah due to having some knowledge of the Mon'hali, curious to think of what the Oros think of the sucessors to the Mon'hali.

Oh, this offer is also extended to others as well.

That's possible, though knowledge of the Mon'hali's existence would be limited and few would know about them, due to the cycles of destruction the Ouroboros go through. I can make it a point that some members of the Church have record of the Mon'hali, if you'd like to establish a plot hook based on that.

Considering how old Palamon's faction is, and combining that with the Terran Remnat's supposed ancient history, it's quite possible that humanity knew the Mon'Hali, or maybe even the Aztrovans depending on how long ago they ascended. Just food for though, and something that could be interesting to consider.

At most though, the Terran Remnants would have vague and spotty records of the various Aztrovan Lineages.

@Dragonruby Again, the Mon'hali would probably be some one the humans fought against (they're basically Brutes from Halo but more intelligent and compassionate). As for the Aztrovans, they wouldn't know them. The original Aztrovans were from basically the other side of the galaxy around about a million or two years ago, they would probably know of the Aztrovan Lineages but not the full number (Not even the Mon'hali or the Ivrah know that tbh) or their history beyond something like "They're aliens with an obsession of playing god and apparently travel a hell of a lot and may be interconnected to some other unknown number of created races."

Post shall be up soon, won't be nearly as action-y as the current ones are, might be more of a Feels thing assuming I do it right.
