Of course all the other amazing things that happened too, but holy cow, holy flaming cows and septons!!!! I was super pumped all throughout this episode.

On the episode

Having the Suicide Squad gathered together is a nerd dream come true. The Jon/Gendry bromance left a hole in my chainmail.

Also, RIP Dickon. You handsome bastard. I suppose we can make our version of Dickon, a son of either Talla Tarly or Samwell. Or even his own son, since the book character was married.

And goddamn, Arya give Sansa a break. Jeeeeezzzz.

Finally, my fucking god, we just got one of the biggest reveals in the series and Sam completely missed it. This changes everything. Jon really is a legitimate Targaryen. I suppose he might have a Targaryen birth name as well? Thoughts on what that might be?

Spoilery Things

I'm not really in favour of the canon changing as it goes atm having an effect on the RP directly- as it would have quite an implication on the effects of a lot of what's been covered so far in this RP. If say, a major character like Gendry et al. that currently exists in the canon were to die, it may have a bit of an implication on the events going on currently- which means going ad-hoc by episodes a little inconsistent, as opposed to our leaving-off point at the end of S6. The same reflects in what I think about the Tyrells- Cersei and Jaime seem to suggest that they're basically completely wiped out- I don't for a second think that the show considers that Willas/Garlan exist, and if they did, the Lannisters would be hunting them relentlessly, or they'd already be dead, or have taken charge. It just seems puzzling, is all. I think probably leaving it with Dickon Tarly, son of Randyll would still work best- it may not make sense now, but in what we didn't know due to speculation, it may be something that could make sense given his age and other attributes we see atm.

As for his birth name? Jahaerys seems rather fitting :D

I'm joining the game as House Velaryon and Aemond One-Eye, is anyone else interested in some more dragon on dragon warfare and dynastic politics? I promise that our game will be the first priority for me as your GM, but I thought it could be fun for us GOT nerds to cut loose in another story as well.

@kingkonrad You do you man. The books have more detail than the show, which leads to discrepancies between the two. If anything, just cherry pickinformation and events or details from the show to fill in the blanks. House Lannister under crazy queen Cersei sacking High Garden adds drama and tension between the families. You are agreat judge of what is fitting and what is too far fetched. Also... Get your post up. I need more reading material of excellent quality.

Gotta hand it to you....in the way you speak and the way you write, you're probably one of the most diplomatic individuals I've ever met. Honestly, it's true. :)

I'll post at some point in the future- I'm a bit overburdened with work atm, but I'll fit it in when I can. I feel I should do a good amount on Ellion, as well as in KL on Willas/Alerie.
