Aye, is there still room for a tactician/scout on the crew?
Name: Juliette De Belvedere aka "Dancer Jules"
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Juliette is a very cheery and sweet girl when she wants to be, but can just as easily be the person who swiped your wallet. She is an excellent liar, and is even better at spotting one. There isn't much that she could miss, as she always seems to be paying close attention to the world around her, and is often picks up on small details fairly easily. Jules isn't one to pick fights willy nilly, but has a strong moral compass thanks to her mother, and will not put up with abuse or disrespect of any kind, especially when directed towards her. She can be quite clever if you give her a chance, and is good at keeping a calm and collected head when even in the direst of situations. In that way, she can sometimes be a bit of an optimist, and is bad at giving up on things.
Bio: Juliette's mother was a dancer living in a fairly large port town somewhere in South Blue when she was born. Although she'd never know her father while growing up, her mother quickly became more than enough parent for the young child. Even if she often found herself in bars, casinos, and other such establishments while her mother worked, she was always well within site of the woman, who was as fierce as mothers come when it came to protecting their child. This often left Juliette to occupying her time by listening to many of the old pirates and sailors chat when they visited the many establishments that her bother worked in. Many of the stories were either dull or gross to the ears of a child, but every once in awhile, she would catch the whisper of stories. Sailors and pirates, explaining the tale of their most recent battle with whoever they decided to attack that day, or of far away islands full of creatures more strange than anything this side of the grand line. More than anything else though, Juliette loved the stories about the thick of battle, and the serious decisions that those men made in order to survive the ordeals. As a child, Juliette found these stories fascinating and inspiring, and soaked them all up like a sponge. Sometimes, she would even scoot a chair up to one of the story-tellers tables and attempt to ask questions-- sometimes they would oblige, happy to indulge the younger generations, others seemed less patient with children. During those interactions, Juliette's mother always seemed to swoop in just in time to pull her away from any dangerous situation.
Eventually, when Juliette turned 14, her mother bought her a bird for her birthday-- a harpy eagle, who her mother had acquired through a deal with one of her more generous patrons. The girl named the bird Silver, and took to training the bird quite serious. It took her a good few months for the two to real bond properly, but after they did, they were near inseparable. Her mother was happy with the friendship, as it meant that her daughter then had a friend to keep her occupied, rather than spending her time pestering pirates for stories. That did nothing to stifle the girls desire for the sea, and the spectacular battles that took place on their waters. Her dreams of setting sail only grew and became more real as she and Silver went from playing pirate together, to actually stealing from real pirates that came to their ports. It wasn't anything impressive, just pick-pocketing and burglarizing ships with Silver. She hid their 'pirate' savings in a thick, burlap sack, tied off with a rope and left in the waters under the docks in port.
She had only just turned 18 when she finally saved enough beri to purchase a sailboat sturdy enough to make it off their island and out of south blue. Her mother had honestly never approved of her daughters desire to become a pirate, so that night, Juliette only left a letter, letting her mother know she would be back someday, with more stories than she could imagine to tell.
Inventory: A small knapsack filled with extra clothes, personal items, a small wallet full of beri, as well as a few rolled up blankets and a small pillow. It all fits well on the back of Silver's saddle.
Silver; a harpy eagle who ate the Size-Size fruit, allowing him to change his size from that of a giant, to as small as a sparrow.
I see no problem with the character, whether you want them to join the pirates, the marines, or heck even a little bit of both. Feel free to brainstorm so idea for how you'd like to see your character introduced.
Looks like Pirates are figuring things out, I think I should start working on a little timeskip post for them and give the marines something to react to. Anybody have posts they want to make before I do either of these things?
I suppose I will get something up. It seems the Marines may still be waiting for me to post even though I have specifically told them not to. So I will get a quick thing up for Anna and Alphie here in a bit.
Just realized that i wasn't subscribed to this thread. oops.
@Eklispe Jules is technically a pirate because all she does is steal for a living, but she doesn't have a bounty so aiding both marines and pirates sounds interesting for now. She could also turn into a captain at any point, if you're in need of more crews.
I'll hold off on posting for now though until after the time skip though.
That should be something to work with. I pretty much did that in 1-shot so feel free to ask for clarification and whatnot, my writing sometimes rather un-intelligible. Nacho feel free to run into the pirates or wait for them to get into trouble, whatever floats.
No one else really needs updating at the moment. Hunter is fine having killed all the poor marines in the building he found as they weren't much for combatants. PM can have fun exploring the ship, a few of those rooms will be a bit more sparse than pictured, no figurehead as you noted, and not much in the way of treasure either :D
One question
Without waiting for a reply she turned her attention to the large wall in front of them.
Eh, what wall are you referring to exactly?
If anybody feels they need an update right away shoot.

Isn't the majority of prison surrounded by a wall tall concrete wall?
@PM Just so you know your character is likely not going to find anything of value on the Dawn Seeker. Anna kept very little on there and the crew hasn't had a chance to collect any treasure yet. The most she might find is a few rare maps from the ship's Marine days and a compass or two, as well as the normal supplies a crew would need, like food, water, and medical supplies.
Abigail took a moment to sigh, and rub her temples. "Eddie, we're going to need some medical treatment when this is all over, and the ship is completely unguarded. Would you be so kind as keep an eye on her. If anything goes wrong give us a signal." She paused because they didn't have a signal yet. "Make up a signal. Do something with your devil fruit."
Were you referring to Elliot in your post or eddie? Also sorry for lack of posting. Will begin writing something as soon as I get this answered.
By the way, how okay are you with us creating story details ourselves? Would it be okay for us to just narrate how we win a fight, especially against a named character? Or if we just create an item in the environment which would let us get over a wall or other obstacle?
I'm a bit new to this kind of forum RP, so I'm not too clear on good etiquette vs. practicality etc.
