Joey turned to the girl from earlier and had to clear his throat to speak. "Yeah, sure. I don't mind." Now that she was closer, he actually got her scent and was in disbelief with himself. He was supposed to hate vamps, not like them. What am I doing? He decided to shake it off for now.

Juno repeated what he said in the dirt. I was born with this. Being mute I mean. He definitely needed to get a tablet if could afford one, but until then he guessed he would have to stick to writing in dirt or sand.

Juno nodded a thanks to him. How cheap we talkin? He asked as he went in the direction of the city, but stopped to listen for anything else he had to say. Of course, there wouldn't be any dirt in the city, maybe he can teach a bit of sign language to him on the way. That would be if he decided to follow.

Eve watched the two of them interact, raising her eyebrows slowly. This guy smelled slightly off too, but it was almost more like her. He must have been a shifter of some kind, but she was terrible about figuring out what. "Hi, thanks for letting us join." She seriously doubted that had anything to do with her and more to do with the redhead beside her. That was okay though, gave her more time to study the two and decide what she thought of them.

"Ah that must be tons better." Alec rubbed his neck and let his shoulders lift in a shrug. He caught a glimpse of another boy doing sign language before he was wandering off with someone else. "Interesting. Wasn't he just alone a moment ago?" Ever since he'd seen what he was sure was a vampire attack he'd been so much more interested when people just met and wandered off together. "Ever seen something weird happen? That you just couldn't explain?"

"No problem." Joey smiled at them and unless he was attacked first, he wasn't going to hurt anyone. He just had trust issues when it came to vampires due to having a bad experience with one long ago. However, this one was beautiful though it would take him a while to get used to her. He then looked at Eve and could tell she was a Were too, but couldn't make out what her animal was.

As they got there, Juno looked around for any of places Edmund had named and saw Best Buy across from them. He looked at him and pointed at the store. He couldn't write here so that was the best he could do for now.

At his question, Juno checked his pockets for cash but all he felt was emptiness. He frowned at this and shrugged. He was sure he could find ways to earn enough money for one, but who would hire a mute? He tried using the money sign and then using gestures wondering if he knew of a place that would hire someone like him.

Eve smiles slowly and keeps an eye on both of the other two. "Can we all just agree that this isn't going to escalate in to anything?" she asks quietly, keeping her voice down so she didn't alert anyone else in the restaurant. It wasn't like they needed the whole diner to wonder what the deal was with the three of them. "I mean, I won't unless one of you is gonna pull something weird."

Alec snorts out a laugh when Nikki says that it's been the last ten years of his life. "You're actually a pretty funny guy. I need to go drop off my books, but then I was gonna go out for dinner if you wanted to join." Although, he had to watch what he said about getting dinner. Juno perked up at library and smiled brightly. He was fascinated by books especially comics, he also loved mystery books too. He put his palms together before opening and closing them like you would a book.
