[IC] Yu-Gi-Oh! 5DX: Wishmaster Part 2 { Jazz & Angel }

Alexis looked to Shadow with some surprise, wondering if she actually said something about it. She remembered mentioning it, she was sure. "The Orientation Dinner is basically welcoming the freshmen students to the Academy for each dorm. Granted they are different, but its for the same purpose." Alexis explained with glance to Jaden and Syrus. "I do believe yours you should be starting soon." She added with Syrus suddenly freaking out like he was always afraid of being late. "Oh no! We will be if we dont hurry! Come on guys!" And suddenly Syrus was off. Jaden was surprised with how suddenly Syrus acted but gave it a shrug and looked to Shadow and Alexis. "Well, guess I'll see ya Shadow! You know where to find me!" He told her with a grin before running off after Syrus and the large Slifer that was wth them. "He guys! Wait up!" Jaden called out to his new friends. Alexis giggled at that. "Quite the friend you have. I see why you two get along. Let's get going ourselves." Alexis showed Shadow the way back to the Obelisk Blue Girl dorms.

"Oh, like a welcoming event?", Shadow concluded to Alexis' explanation of the Orientation. "I get it now, thanks", she was grateful that she had someone to help her get around, or in this case, figure things out. It only reminded her of all the times that Yugi Muto would offer her his help, like the television. Her thoughts were abruptly cut off by Syrus' freak-out episode. Shadow gave a grateful smile to Jaden. "And you know where to find me!", she exchanged back to him, giving the brunette a wave. She glanced to Alexis. "Yeah, we're kind of on the same page. He's a good kid", the former genie confirmed as she followed the blonde back to the Girls' Dorms, and eventually, the dinner.

It wasn't as bad as she had figured; with all the Obelisks swooning over her, not to mention the boys and girls trying to chat her up. Not that Shadow didn't like the company, but she would much prefer her fellow students to know the meaning of personal space. She was glad that Alexis was able to clear the herd, as she mentioned before. Not everyone appreciated her being there, like a few Obelisks watching her with envious looks on their faces; she could feel their gazes through their own casted shadows on the ground, or a dorm wall. Overall, Shadow felt a bit of pride for the welcome of her "fans". She didn't expect to get a certain message from a certain Obelisk, though...

We all know you don't belong here "Queen of Games". Lets see if you have what it takes. Meet me at the Duel Arena after this event unless you are too chicken.

Chazz stood at the Dueling arena with the Duel Academy building after the orintation Dinners. He had sent a message via the standard issue PDA they were given upon entering the Academy. He waited for Shadow of whom he mesaaged to show up for he challenged her to Duel. It still peeved him that she was there. That she who came out of nowhere and defeating Dr. Crowler with an upstart to help her. It grinded his gears to no end. Chazz scowled as he waited for Shadow.

Shadow was just finishing a drink that Alexis so generously offered a moment ago, before she felt one of those standard-issued PDAs go off on her waist. She wondered what Jaden was up to at his own dorm event, and her first thought was that this was just him checking on her. But it was a different human face...

Now she knew his full name; the Obelisk Blue whom she and Jaden just recently faced a few hours before.

Mister Princeton just challenged me to a duel.

For the first time, the thought almost made her drop her drink in surprise. However, she kept a good grip on it, as she subconsciously went over the pros and cons of the request. A certain presence calmed her, though; to be confident for her first duel alone. So, Shadow silently finished her drink, and turned off her bracelet, shutting down her presence. With the other students not noticing her pass by, the former genie snuck out towards the main building.

As Shadow stepped through the door, she turned her bracelet back on, finding herself coming face to face with the male Obelisk in the empty duel arena. "Chazz Princeton, I presume?", she called from the other side of the arena, just opposite of the raven-haired teen.

Chazz watched as Shadow had arrived and addressing him. With a smirk, Chazz had a feeling she couldnt refuse a duel. "I knew you couldnt refuse. No need for a large crowd. Plus after I beat you, Im going after that Slifer Slacker and see just how lucky that snob is." he gawked, feeling completely confident.

'SHADOW!' Jaden's voice suddenly ran through their link. He sounded worried and scared. He slid in with the slide of his sneakers against the floor and with grace, where any other human might slip and fall either on their butt or their face. Coming to a stop behind Shadow a few feet or so, Jaden was panting due to the running(more like sprinting) that had occurred. Looking from the floor of which he was bent over to catch his breath to looking at Shadow, he seemed relieved. "Oh. There you are. You scared me there for a second. Well. Okay more like Chazz scared me but good. You're okay." Jaden said inbetween breathes here and there. Though his eyes were a faded mismatch that belonged to Yubel and the Supreme King "So...what did I miss?" Jaden asked with a goofy grin.

Shadow narrowed her eyes in a more dissapointed way towards Chazz's overconfidence. Look who's talking..., she sighed to herself at his words. Her dark pink eyes closed passively for a moment, as her arms crossed her chest. "That type of attitude will get you nowhere, Chazz. Even if you win or lose this said-challenge, I will not let some snobbish student such as yourself harass another", and speaking of 'another', the Slifer Slacker made himself known through the link, and in-person. Her eyes opened, and glanced at Jaden when he ran into the room.

"Mister Princeton here just challenged me to a duel; just because I am known as the 'Queen of Games'", the former genie informed him, before turning back to the raven-haired Obelisk. "Tell me, Chazz, is this jealousy I hear from you?", she was curious as to what his game was, and why he wanted to particularly duel against her and Jaden.

That was when she remembered: they'd promised Yubel that she would participate for this match. Shadow glanced at Jaden.
'Yuki, remember what we promised Yubel. Pass me her card'.

Jaden looked over towards Chazz in surprise to what Shadow said about Chazz's intentions. His face was from surprise to show a grin and his excitement. "He challeneged you? Sweet! You should accept, show him your A game!" The brunette suggested with a huge childish grin. 'I agree with Jaden. However, eitherway we go about this, this young man needs to learn a lesson.' Yubel told her with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

If Chazz was confused about this current scene before him(since he couldnt see Yubel and he could see was Jaden's idiotic grin), he wouldnt show it and really didnt care. Either way, he was dueling one them and Shadow seemed to accept. When she asked if he was jealous, Chazz laughed. "Don't you wish!" he blurted out and soon settled his laughter to wjere he stopped. "No. I am no where near jealous, i just want to prove that you're a fraud."

Jaden's eyes hardened and his grin was gone quickly as Chazz called Shadow a fraud. He was tempted to wipe that smirk off his face and take back what he said if it werent for the fact that Shadow would need to in order to get Chazz to shut up and prove it to him that she was very real, not Jaden. Hearing Shadow's request for Yubel so they can duel with her, he put a hand on her shoulder and his grin returned. 'I remember Shadow and don't worry. Its not like i would deny you and Yubel a duel together. But i dont have to. She goes where she pleases.' Jaden told her Telepathically. 'As long as Jaden is nearby of course.' Yubel added with a wink.

Shadow crossed her arms, and put on a smirk when Jaden suggested her to take in the challenge. 'He will always aim for a duel, will he?', the former genie telepathically asked Yubel. No doubt Jaden will aim for one. It was who he was, and both fiends were amused of this. The she-demon, especially. 'Not exactly a lesson, but more of a realization', Shadow corrected her with a light purr, and that smirk still remaining.

Truthfully, for Chazz to call her a fraud, did strike a slight nerve within her. She was with the King of Games, and Shadow stood by him ever since. The whole world saw the tournament, and they all agreed to give her that title. Even Maximillion Pegasus himself approved. If there was one thing she naturally disliked, it would be duelist wannabes. This selfish young man before her, was one of them. The nerve being struck was proven by her red eyes briefly glowing behind her dark pink ones. This didn't go unnoticed by Jaden or Yubel.

She heard Yubel and Jaden's suggestions, and she acknowledged them with a nod; her anger going down. She looked back to the raven-haired boy, determination now showing in her eyes. "That will be quite enough, Chazz. If it's a duel you want, it's a duel you'll get", the dark-blue, purple-haired female told him with a purr, the devious smile she and Yubel share, appearing, and her traditional duel-disk that she used for the exam, also appeared, on her left arm. "Let's duel!"
