For anybody not versed on the amount of sheer AWESOMENESS this RP will entail, I recommend you visit crunchyroll and watch the first seven minutes or so of Symphogear GX Episode one, there's no real spoilers involved. I'll be here waiting.
Ready to launch into space, surf on a missile, punch through a mountain and Suplex a space shuttle? Cause this is an RP about over the top sci-fi magical girls who get their powers from music!
This is going to be a purely fandom take on the series, but using only canon gears. But before I get into those, here's some general information
The Symphogears are ancient magical/alchemical relics that, when exposed to singing of a certain frequency, generate massive amounts of energy to summon powered armor and weapons. The relics take the form of crystal pendants which are really only shards of the original full relics, but are powerful in their own right. Each Relic has it's own Song that continues to play while it is in use, and while in canon the wielders must sing the song to keep them functioning, for the sake of this RP you don't have to come up with lyrics or put them in the posts. Songs reflect the wielder, so having one picked out (from any source, and it need not even be lyrical, can be instrumental if the character can play said instrument and manifest it with their gear) for the character sheet will be a necessity.
Gear wielders are by necessity female, because the original anime is a magical girl show and I'm not changing that.
All characters will be attendants at a Musical Arts College in Europe, whether out of country students or otherwise, and will therefore be selected to be gear wielders by the faculty.
Gear users fight against two main things, The Noise, an extra-dimensional breed of monster that instantly kill humans on touch (not if they are using a gear of course) and other gear wielders, as well as some other magical and ancient threats.
So that was all rather disjointed, but here's all of the gears that can be used!
There are two other gears I could potentially bring in, ShenShouJing, and DuDaBla, But I will likely save those for villains
I'll have a character sheet format up later!
