Ansgar is a strange man, by all accounts, doubly so considering his status as a Marshall. He is one to waive the rules and regulations if it means getting a job done properly, often times sweeping things under the rug or otherwise overlooking things that, while by all accounts illegal, certainly are better than the alternative. This makes him quite the target for hard liners, which lead to his colonial posting to get him farther away from anywhere he could make progress. Ansgar is never perturbed by this at all, rather, as long as he can keep getting things done, that is all he is concerned about. The perfect definition of a pragmatic soul, if its something he can do, and it will accomplish his goal, he will do it without a second thought. Nor will he feel bad about it later, after all, he is doing what he has to, and that is all there is to it. Even though this puts him at odds with hard line soldiers who follow orders to the letter, and idealists who would follow the rules and expect things to still work out well.

Tell us a little bit about your character: Sebastian is the definition of a Prime young buck. Eager and seemingly invincible(at least in his mind) and clad in the impenetrable armour of youth and confidence. He joined the rebellion very young age, motivated primarily by youthful zeal and the idea of 'the cause' of the underdog standing up to the tyrant and giving him a bloody nose and a black eye.

For the first years of serving with the Raiders Sebastian displayed an over-eagerness that was sometimes detrimental to his superiors carefully laid out plans. He is always raring to go with a burst of energy, a smile on his lips and a deep laugh always ready to spill up from his belly. In short he is a hothead, a risk taker and as the last few years on board the hyperion have proven, a reasonably successful ladies man.

Some of his fellows have likened his seemingly endless well of energy and stamina to him being on a permanent stimpak of some kind. He almost never seems to run out of juice, always having that extra burst needed to push himself through when its needed. Another gift of youth many believe.

A few years experience with the Raider's (and getting chewed out weekly) have tempered his more rambunctious nature from what he was when he first joined. Oh he is still that prime, eager young lad capable of trying anything and everything that even remotely resembles a challenge. But He is more controllable and predictable than he used to be six years ago. Hard earned experience in combat and hard times have given him fewer reasons to laugh his deep rumbling laugh lately. It made him more considering of his actions and how they can endanger or effect those around him and as a result, tempered him somewhat. And his lady-killer ways have toned down to the delight (and dissapointment) of some on board the Hyperion. More specifically they have honed onto one pretty lady in particular. Someone who has kept his attentions for an uncharacteristically long period of time.

But he still tries to make a quip here or a joke there to keep things light in the face of batshit crazy reality he lives in. Refusing to let go of the brevity that has become his reputation, And he still is prone to taking risks and rushing headlong into danger with little provocation and not nearly as much consideration as he should be giving.

Tell us a little bit about your character: Janek Morrison had been the textbook definition of a cynical worker. Due to her psi-rating, she had been recruited into the Ghost Program from childhood - yet her rating was too weak to be turned, trained and later mind-wiped into a true Ghost.

Instead she was delegated to handling, locating and if need be, capturing children for the Ghost program. For fifteen years she had served first under the Terran Confederancy. She didn't like her job anymore than her life - since in essence, she was paid to kidnap children, or that was what she told her future drinking buddies. When the Confederancy fell - she took the opportunity to flee, while setting any children still left in the facility free. And the lobotomized zerglings loose on the guards.

Janek once contemplated joining the Terran Dominion - yet soon was disgusted, when they proved no better than the nation they had burned to the ground. Instead she joined up with Raynor' Raiders and for five years had been the main-girl to keep any Dominion Ghost from messing or trying to assassinate anyone amongst the Raiders.

Equipment: CMC-660 Heavy Combat Suit (modified to withstand extreme temperatures and damage)
C-140 Epyon, a standard issue flamethrower from during the brood war. It has been custom made to be on par with the current double-barreled flamethrower in terms of power but it largely more reliable. A benefit of not exploding when the fuel line is severed or impacted violently. Two mode fire. One is a standard flame from gas, the other is a plasma fuel source. The secondary fire is more effective on armored zerg but Nick does not have a large amount of ammunition on him so it is used sparingly.

Tell us a little bit about your character: Nick did piss poor in school and never bothered completing anything but his highschool diploma. Became a volunteer fire fighter in his twenties, became a soldier in his thirties, and became an accredited Firebat 2 years later.
Despite being a complete idiot when it came to practical math, literature, even his speech suffers from poor education sometimes, the mans last name was given for his peculiar expertise with incendiary type weapons. Nick was given a newer suit and discarded it as trash before downgrading to an outdated model, from there he created the suit he uses today through salvage and expensive sellers. He was soundly absorbed into Raynor's Raiders somewhere in the last 5 years

But he gets the job done in half the time. If you need something burned down, blown up, scorched and scrapped, you need only ask someone in charge. They've got a Knack for that kind of thing.

Tell us a little bit about your character:

Alexis was born into a loyalist Dominion family. She was recruited into the Dominion and chose to be a Terran Dominion Reaper. She served loyalty for a few years, never questioning order, never looking back at what she had to do.
One day, all that changed. She and her squad was sent to eliminate a "rebel" outpost that was supposed to be helping Raynor's Raiders with weapons and so she and her squad brought death from above for everyone there. They had orders to kill everyone and those that fought died but as she was searching a warehouse that was supposed to be full of weapon crates, Alexis found something else.
Women, children and elderly people. All unarmed. She radioed in and told her CO what she found and asked him what do to. The answer that came blew all her expectations "Kill them all" was the order.
As her team moved in for the kill, she realized the truth. The Dominion lied about Raynor's Raiders. She opened fire on her team and took all of them out before they could do something as they were taken by surprise.
She deserted and after some time, she joined Raynor's Raider and took the fight to the Dominion.

Name: First Lieutenant Richard Fleikhoff

Equipment: UED model advanced Combat Suit (kept in near-perfect condition with his Lieutenant's barn on one shoulder and the shield of the Directorate on the other), C-150 Ronin Pistol and C-141 AC Gauss Rifle (basically the standard issue things a UED Marine would get) along with seven frag grenades. Also has a shank made from a hydralisk's claw that can be used as a shank or stuck on his rifle as a bayonet.

Tell us a little bit about your character:
He was born in the UPL, the predecessor to the United Earth Directorate in one of the few countries that was still not in the fold of it's nations where he was a career soldier and had happily married and had children. Eventually with the discovery of Protoss, Zerg and the revelation of the experiment to send all sorts of prisoners long ago and their arrival to Koprulu the UED was made, and the last few independent nations on Earth joined it. Richard joined the expeditionary force to Koprulu where he fought for earth and glory like the idealist he was.

However, the war got bad for the original Terrans and they fled. Richard did not make the evacuation to the battlecruisers but instead made it to some dropships which instead of going to earth went as far from the zerg as possible. Eventually he dropped off in Umoja where he ambled around as a bouncer and sat depressed that he would never see his comrades or friends again.

After a few years he got up and after some drunken flying left and right landed on Mar Sara, drifting about the deserts waiting to turn himself in to the first group that saw him be it the Raiders or Dominion. By chance it was the Raider's who took the man in and interrogated him as to why he came. He explained that there was nothing left for him, and he simply gave up on everything. Eventually, after much internal deliberation he agreed and grudgingly became one of the Raiders.

Now, he fights along the people he only a few years ago killed en-masse, although the Dominion is the same old enemy it was before. He doesn't have a single bit of the fanaticism and ideology of the other raiders, but in battle maintains a steady professionalism that got him to be a Lieutenant on Earth.

With the Purification Project on Earth there were no cybernetic nor genetic enhancements to be had, so he is in essence a "pure" human. However he does not lag behind the stimm saturated Marines of Koprulu, him being a career soldier, having a great and rich diet on Earth, so on and so forth. He has bouts of near suicidal depression and crying as his new home is "this God-fucked shithole they call Koprulu."
