Im interested if there is still room. Are we going to be filling out the character sheet for both a Meister and a weapon? Or do we just fill out one or the other?
@Kouki I just thought of something that could make it work, after all Kid is Death's Second son. Could cause it to deal something with his first, I only suggest this because I don't think there was ever much said about his first son. if the manga went into depth about it then crud otherwise, could have something of happened in regards there to make it work.

It did
Asura, the Kishin was the Grim Reaper's first son.

Death's first son is Asura, the Kishin, which makes a lot of sense given that he and kid both share the same black hair and he, for some reason, has the lines of Sanzu. The anime never went into it but we doin MANGA RULES UP IN HERE!!!
@DearTrickster hm.. the show didn't really explain that, dang it lol. then again I did miss a couple of episodes, and I only know bits of the manga (been needing to read it). hm.... Guess only other way for his existence is maybe just like a witch's soul being mixed with a part of death he used to make a new son. only other way I guess lol.
You mean like, a secret third son that got lost and raised by someone else. That would explain why you don't seem to know the Death God Taijutsu stances very well.
Or maybe you're the result of an experiment of some kind?
@Kouki ya one or the other, only ways that could work. I like the first idea the most but If you want to do either one I'd pretty much be fine with it since they are only way to have Death God Witch in the house. If not then would have to think for a good while for a new character that could be interesting enough.
Let's do the second, it's slightly simpler. There are these things in the manga called Demon Tool Soldiers. You can be a modified version of those, using a human body, a witches soul and a piece of the death god that he lost in battle.
In an attempt to recreate the power of death, you were made.
Again, ask me anything, I can give ideas, tell you more specifics about the lore, anything you need.
Also-
a sample post. :)
If anyone else wants to do a sample post, I readily accept it. Trailers are awesome, I'm probably gonna do one too!
Im interested if there is still room. Are we going to be filling out the character sheet for both a Meister and a weapon? Or do we just fill out one or the other?
Good question, no one's answered me though and which we way they wanna go though so I'm not sure.
@Kouki I'm personally making a character sheet designating my meister as a main character while her weapons are supporting but with full character sheets of their own. We could combine them for simplicity sake.
@Kouki Probably could do both ideas, just depends on if some want to only play specific part. With a person being a meister and another being a weapon, it forces more player interaction which can be a good thing. But just depends if the roleplayers I would say.
I have changed the History and Changed his species, haven't messed with his abilities since unsure if I should change anything there yet or not. I wasn't sure how I should go about his creation, so I thought of saying he was created in death city based off research gathered from the Noah group. If that is unsatisfactory I will think of another way he was created. Gopher is an interesting character from what I read on the wiki page, pretty sadistic fellow lol. When I get the chance I will read through the manga to find out things I don't know in detail.
@KoukiCould do both, or let it be up to those if some want to make both a Meister and weapon or not. I would prefer myself anyway to just make both, but that's just my preference
It would be wiser to pick either or instead of letting everyone make one or the other just to have them switch when we add up the numbers and realize we have too many people. Choosing now let's us put an easy to manage limit on how many players we'll need.
@Kouki Considering there is 10 people not including yourself that have posted here. If this follows normal rp creation we will probably lose one or two when the rp goes to ooc for pretty much no reason at all.
I know you said we should only make 1, but I made these two as a set.
CS: Meister
Name: Zane Wulf
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Monster Animal (Wolf)
Appearance: Standing at 5’8 in his human form, Zane’s body is toned from constant training. His dark grey hair is naturally wild, due to his wolf side, but he keeps it relatively short to avoid problems in combat. His face is relatively handsome, though not to any excess, and is marred even more by a scar through his missing left eye. The remaining eye is a deep red, the colour of freshly spilled blood. He usually wears a simple black eyepatch to cover his missing eye. In terms of clothing, Zane is nearly always seen wearing his trademark black jacket, which has a deathly hourglass on the back. The shoulders of the jacket are plate pauldrons, made of a golden metal, and the jacket is inlined with scale mail. As for other clothes, he generally wears outfits that are easy to move around and fight in. Fashion doesn’t seem to be important to him. As a wolf, Zane is larger than most, his standing being closer to a noble hound than a feral beast. His left eye scar also marks him as more than the average wolf.
Abilities: Knights Training: Zane is versed in the many weapon styles and traditions of Knights. Wolf King: As a king among wolves, Zane possesses immense strength. Both in human form and wolf, his raw power cannot be compared to regular people. Though this is also the curse of the Wolf King, as the mix of human and wolf instincts drive them down the path of a Kishin.
Techniques: Werewolf Strike: a powerful sword slash Crescent Wave: a version of Werewolf Strike that sends out a shock wave that looks like a crescent moon. Wolf King’s Rampage: Zane unleashes his feral side, attacking with an insane speed and power. Lupine Eclipse (w/ Kronos): the Wolf King and his Clone attack together in human form, creating a whirlwind of death.
Equipment: A small knife, enhanced to do a moderate more damage than a regular blade, though no where near the level of a Demon Weapon, as well as a similar one-handed sword. He also carries a small buckler, made from the same material as his pauldrons.
Personality: Zane is a prideful person, from both being trained as a knight and from being a powerful wolf. Despite his animal nature, he is quite civilised and proper, acting according to the laws of chivalry. Though if one looks at it another way, it is more that he clings to these laws to stave off the beast within. In a battle, he allows a bit of his wolf side to spring forth, leading to a ferocious fighting style. But even in his wildest state, he still will not harm anyone close to him. His relationship with his partner is more like a rival than a friend, the two in a state of constant competition with each other.
History: Once in every hundred years, a Wolf King is born. This is not a cause for celebration though, as the creature is a fierce beast. Cunning as a man, but with the ferocity of a wolf, they were a major target of the DWMA due to their tendency to walk down the path of the Kishin. From just a pup, the Wolf King who would be known as Zane was on the run from Meisters wanting his powerful soul. He actually lost his eye in one of the encounters.
As time passed, his hatred for humanity grew. He was close to actively walking down the devil’s path when he was saved by a man named Odin. Odin was an old Meister, who had retired from the role some years ago. His level of soul perception allowed him to see the true state of this Wolf King’s soul, and decided to embrace the poor beast rather than kill him. Doing so caused a change in the young wolf, and for the first time he transformed into a human. Odin was aghast, as this feared creature was but a child of barely five.
The old Meister took him in, and named this child Zane Wulf. Odin taught Zane the arts of chivalry, as a means of controlling the beast inside, and explained to the child why people were in fear of people like him. Hearing the truth of the reason behind the hunt, Zane’s anger dissipated, replaced with an admiration for the Meisters.
When he was 14, he entered the DWMA on the recommendation of his foster father. As a pure fighter and theorist, his talent was exceptional. Despite this, his unique soul wavelength made him incompatible with practically everyone in the academy, putting him in a state between EAT and NOT. He remained this way for 5 months, until he uncovered one of the teachers more sinister projects.
From Zane, the teacher created Kronos, an anomaly like himself. Though the two clashed, their compatibility was extremely high. Zane offered him a place as his brother, but Kronos regarded Zane as a rival. The two have become partners, though their constant rivalry with each other has hampered their progression through the academy.
CS: Weapon
Name: Kronos Wulf
Age: 3
Gender: Male
Species: Clone
Appearance: Kronos looks like Zane, save for having pure white hair, and both eyes, though they are yellow instead of red. Also, due to a hiccup in DNA he has wolf ears instead of human ones. He let’s his hair run wild, looking far more wolf like in appearance than Zane. For clothing, Kronos keeps it simple, wearing only a red vest, jeans, and steel toed boots, with spiked wristbands on his arm. His weapon form is a zweihander, a two-handed sword. It is silver in colour, and with a wide blade too heavy for most people to swing. The blade is decorated with wolf and lunar symbols, giving it a elegant look for such a brutish weapon.
Abilities: From Zane’s memories, Kronos has a vast knowledge of western martial arts, as well as being far stronger than a regular human. In addition, his normal senses are those of a wolf.
Techniques: Same as Zane
Equipment: Like Zane, Kronos also carries weapons, though he prefers a bastard sword and a mace.
Personality: While Zane serves the laws of chivalry, Kronos instead follows the ideal of justice. He is far more hot-headed than his partner, often getting himself into bad situations due to his personality. At the same time though, he often is seen to be the more caring one of the two, as he doesn’t have to constantly keep his emotions in check. The two of often butt heads, the subtle differences in their personality being far more inflammatory than polar opposites, but this dissonance creates a powerful melody when the two resonate.
History: Under the DWMA, a teacher was conducting sinister experiments, hoping to recreate the power of the Death Scythes, for his own twisted ambitions. Utilising DNA gathered from the Death Scythes, he tried to create mindless clones that would follow his orders. However he could get the clones to stabilise. The clones needed to be spliced with non weapon DNA in order to survive. So the teacher began catching students from the NOT program in order to use them as fodder for his tests.
Zane, who had been as so far fighting without a Weapon, decided to investigate these disappearances but he himself ended up captured by one of the ‘successes’. Although it had worked to an extent, their bodies were abominations stuck between weapon and human. Knowing of Zane’s mastery of weaponry, the teacher decided to download a part of his memory into the clone that used Zane’s DNA. This proved to be his undoing, as Zane was a Wolf King. The clone, named Kronos by the teacher, killed his creator outright, as he was caught in the feral state of the Wolf King.
Zane and Kronos fought against each other in the underground, the two being evenly matched despite the weapon DNA in Kronos. It was strange, until now he had never felt a resonance with anyone, but each time they clashed it was like an orchestra of the soul. In the feral state, Kronos lacked the skill Zane had, and he eventually took him down.
When the other DWMA members arrived after Zane called for a rescue, they wanted to dispose of the clone, but the student stood in front of his copy. “This man is Kronos Wulf, and he is my brother.” At these words, Kronos punched Zane in the back of the head. Apparently he’d rather die than be brother to an idiot like Zane. To the surprise of the people around, the usually stoic Zane returned the punch with interest, and the two got into a scrap.
When they came before Lord Death, he allowed Kronos to live, as he was no puppet and had his own will. He and Zane partnered up, becoming one of the most powerful, yet argumentative, pairs in the DWMA.
Alright guys, remember, no making up events and no messing with DWMA history. Evil Teacher experiments is BOTH of those things in a pretty major way.
I mean, that's a story arc you just described. That's like a month long investigative case.
Guys, seriously, if your bio involves creating something that would be considered a major event in history, it's probably going to get vetoed. I cannot stress that enough. Rules is rules.
@olcharlieboi We discussed your thing, and I approved of the idea. Plus, yours doesn't span across months and effects a wide range of the city's population (though to be fair, I am speculating how long the clone experiments went on for before a single student managed to come across it).
Though, I would check your grammar. I know this is casual so not gonna be too picky but one of the rules is that you try your best to avoid grammatical mistakes
@Kouki Months? I never gave such an extravagant timescale. It was more of a case where a few people went missing around a certain area, and Zane got captured during investigation. And before he captured live students he only used samples gathered stealthily from the Death Scythes. Considering that Zane didn't have the power of a Demon Weapon at the time, he wouldn't be on a story arc length mission.
If it's a problem with him being a teacher, I could turn him into a crazy scientist operating in a secluded part of Death City. As for not being allowed to make events, isn't the history of a character entirely events?
