Sophie is a petite girl of 5'2" at around 120lbs. She has a small, slender frame with long thin arms, hands, and legs. She has long dark brown hair, almost black depending on the lighting, and bright blue eyes with a fair, almost pale complexion, some even call it alabaster. Her skin is soft and delicate like silk and her hands and feet are cold to the touch.

Sophie is a tender hearted and friendly woman that has room in her heart for just about anyone; making it hard to believe that by nature, she is actually an introvert. She has no problem with making friends, it's just a matter of motivating her to keeping them.

She is, to an extent, naive, believing that everyone will find happiness and love, incredibly loyal to those she cares about, and has just the right amount of sass to her if you rial her up enough; which isn't a hard thing to do, as she gets easily flustered.

Sophie can be stubborn and is blatantly honest. While she will stand with those she cares about, she also not afraid to call someone out on their bullshit, especially if she knows it.

She loves to make people laugh and feel good about themselves, as it gives her a sense of a warm happiness and satisfaction, but also because she knows how hard it feels to not be wanted and not loved. And deep down, she is really depressed and anxious.

Her naivety is only contradicted by her skepticism and issues with trusting others. She wasn't always like this, but due to giving her trust to the wrong people, who in turn betrayed that trust. This is one reason why she has a hard to keep relationships.

The other reason is her tendency to be overdramatic and emotional. Sophie wears her heart on her chest for everyone to see, however, that isn't always a good thing. She has a tendency to cause drama that isn't meant to be intentional.

Sophie's main hobbies include drawing, sewing, playing video games, and basically anything that involves working with her hands.

Sophie's life in a word, is average. Growing up with her two younger siblings and her parents in the outskirts of Ann Arbor. Her relationship with her siblings were rough as bantering with them was a common occurrence, but of course, she still loved them and cared about them.

From the very beginning, her ADHD and anxiety were very much prominent in her behavior and in her grades. Sophie grew up with a small knit group of friends up until about middle school. Over time she had grown infatuated with one of her male friends and they ended up "dating" for about 3-4 months before Sophie had realized that her "boyfriend" didn't recuperate her feelings for him, and called it off. The two continued to be friends for about a year, with Sophie still having feelings for him, before their friendship eventually strained and broke; and the truth why he had even agreed to dating her came out. He felt sorry for her. In an instant, Sophie was emotionally fractured and abandoned by all those she had deemed a friend.

During this time, her parents had divorced and her mom moved away to Holland while her dad stayed in Ann Arbor. Sophie and her siblings would continue to stay with either parent on an every other week basis, since both parents had partial custody over them, until Sophie moved out on her own at the age of 19.

During her senior year of highschool, it was a dream that turned into a nightmare. Sophie had gained some friends and a best friend since middle school. One friend in particular, she had met the summer prior and despite him being about 4 years older than her, the two had clicked almost instantly. However, it wasn't until about 5 months after meeting, that the two became a couple and even then it was a long distance relationship and was kept on the down low due to the fact that Sophie was still underage at the time. Yet despite that, the two were very happy together, having only a few misunderstandings. He was her first kiss and eventually her first love; she felt like he was practically a male version of herself. Then suddenly, a misunderstanding had spiralled out of control and he abruptly broke with her. She tried to explain herself and work things out but he didn't want to even try. Sophie, being naive and believing that one day they would eventually manage to work things out, told him that she would wait for him and to let her know when he was ready to try again. However, he never said a word to her ever again and left her to wait forever, and taking what was left of her heart with him; allowing herself to believe that she wasn't worth it or he didn't think she was worth fighting for.

Alan grew up in a middle-class household in a town near Holland. He had a normal upbringing for a quiet, socially awkward child, which is to say he had parents who loved him and was often tormented at school, though by the end of his education he’d managed to win over most of his old bullies, half out of pity and half an account of his infallible niceness. When he graduated high school, his grades were good enough to allow him to get a degree in education at a respectable university, which he enjoyed well enough, more for the community than the learning.
His dream was always to be a teacher, to be a positive influence in the lives of people younger than him, so he moved in with a friend in Ann Arbor and got a job as a stay-in substitute at Madison High School, attaining a reputation among his colleagues as a messy if likeable coworker and among his students as a hilariously awkward substitute who tries a little too hard to ‘fit in’, though a few swear that he’s a nice guy under all the stammering and sweating. That’s his situation now – living in a dumpy urban apartment, spending his days in one classroom or another and his nights alone.

Emily is the only child of a CEO of a large accounting firm and his unemployed life. The money Michael earned paid enough for the family of three to live a rather luxurious life and Emily hadn't known a life without such a lifestyle until the last year. Between many business trips and the demanding work hours Emily saw much less of her father than her mother and her and her mother did not get along. The older, and rowdier, she got the more they would fight. As she got older her mother made it obviously her daughter had become a lost cause leaving her with little guidance yet still tried to control her life. This may have been a driving force in her current attitude.

From her early teens/late preteens Emily had a pretty bad reputation among people. She was always misbehaving and arrogant. The only notice she took to rules was how to break them. She was often in trouble for graffiting, defacing properties and disturbing public peace.

Emily was 15 when she snuck out to a party for rhe first time, of course it wasn't her first rebellious or misbehaving act. Leading up she had done some smaller rule-breakung actions and lied more than a few times (a couple being where she was) but this was the big one. She found to fit in perfectly and it was there she had her first try of alcohol and intimacy to a new degree. Since then the sneaking of to parties has become more common despite her mother still trying to run her daughter's life until she was 18. Coming home, proudly, with a new tattoo was the final straw as ber mother kicked her out and cut of any connection she had with her.

She is a part-time worker at a lab of ornithology. Temporary positions such as the visitor center assistant and one of the researcher/writers for the organization's magazine often springs up. However, don't expect that to be year round. Half of the time Zephillla is trying her hand at brand-new art styles as well as experimenting / refreshening older ones. She sells prints online and hard copies among or linked to any of her connections. During summer she auditions for a theater play or two, depending if she gets cast. Otherwise, Zephillla's studying.

Launching off with her body's exterior, the female's skin is slightly darker than the average light-skinned person, the result of her Hispanic roots. She barely has pretty much no arm strength; she makes up for that in her ability to aim well. She's of average height and weight the majority of the time, getting lighter or heavier in an exceedingly short amount of time every so often, although more exercise is certainly required since the past four years to get her bachelor's scarcely left room for free time compared to what she had before. The last two years improved. Anyway, she developed a habit of forgetting to brush her hair in the morning despite taking a morning shower. In the afternoon her black hair may, sort of, 'poof'. (Photo in the references beneath.) It generally turns out all right for winter, because of the cold; summer is a different story. Humid air presses down on powerless Zephillla. And that barely starts on the jackets!
Before anyone wades into that territory, a quick briefing on that. Zephillla's hair is medium-length most of the time. Half of the time the young adult gets obsessed with a specific hairstyle or length, partly spending time on refusing to cut or just trim her hair, and partly jumping on the chance to cut it at every time possible.
We come around to the jackets. She owns many various ones; that is undeniable. Zephillla obviously depends on them a smudge too much for comfort. Some have open thumb holes. These each serve a specific purpose. The oversized ones seem to be best toward winter, fall, and the beginning of spring. They may also serve as something her hands can fidget with. Jackets made with smooth material that traps heat is meant for exercise, obviously. Whatever the case, there's a running theme throughout this clothing: pockets. Think of it like that pitch black closet in the one's corner of the room, the objects inside pockets as the 'monsters' lurking in one's vivid imagination. Suffering in the heat of summer whilst being unable to wear her jackets is a recurring nightmare swinging around every year. Alright, moving on.

Silver is Zephillla's favourite color and type of jewelry. More than gold. It reminds her of the moon and, at least in her opinion, it's a real strong colour in terms of being able to endure attacks.
Half the time she'll be wearing earrings. Gold ones, from her grandfather. Alas, he passed away; mercifully, he was healthy physically and mentally as an elder. Nevertheless, even if he did live exceptionally well, it didn't mean no one missed him.

Then there's the last few details. Zephillla has dark brown eyes and medium-sized dark blue glasses, the kind whose lenses darken up to act as sunglasses for snow/ice or sunny days. She mostly uses them while heading to a new place, meeting acquaintances, or teachers. And, she prefers comfortable clothing over other people's preferences, occasionally being the odd one out because of that. Her nails on her thumbs are cut to a point. Doing this became a habit pretty early, about a decade earlier, 12-13 years old. Like her opinion on other things, she appreciates things more from their usefulness than other reasons. She hasn't put makeup on herself yet or dyed her hair, so a tattoo or piercing on her skin (besides her ears) has a less than zero chance of happening. Dresses bearing natural colours, such as a dark red one, a wise grey one, and so forth, are her favourites.

Maybe in another dimension Zephillla would be a 'normal' human being in society; not that one exists. She was diagnosed with bipolar II disorder the autumn before turning 19, so she has various sides to herself, with two main extremes on either end. One must dig deeper to shed some light on who she is - remember, Zephillla herself doesn't have a clue - and while doing that, one comes to the conclusion that her disorder contributes to and is part of her. Eliminating it changes the person in question, and in this case, that's Zephillla.

Zephillla is an ambivert leaning slightly more toward the introverted side, but not enough to fit in with them, nor is she loud enough to fit in with the extroverts. She has learnt how to meta-think 'properly', also known as thinking about thinking. Theories about life and other divisions of humanity come from looking at the larger picture. Sometimes it's a random thought drifting in the breeze that she snatches out of the air and explores. Other times it's quite intentional, having racing thoughts and following her own train of thought very closely. They're generally ideas that are coldly rejected by the crowd. Such as whether humans are zombies- not physically, but in their actions. Death. Interesting controversies circling the globe. She was never the typical gossiper chattering on and on about the latest wrong thing some president or parent did/said. Her thoughts travelled along the lines of, 'If you aren't going to do anything about it, how is that going to change something?' The rest of the conversation would be contradicting that idea. 'Information is useful is tight situations.' It's worth adding that this conversation is, most of the time, with herself.
Usually, Zephillla is recalling information or plans she has in the back of her mind during breaks or in the middle of the sentence she was speaking. All these distractions tend to cause her to speak rapidly or stutter. See, it's not always because of nervous thoughts.

Leadership holds a vital place for Zephillla. With a large percent of her family being doctors, teachers, or engineers, offering a hand to other people, no matter how minuscule, is past natural. It's required. If not, her feelings of self-worth drain by a zillion points. 'Paranoid' may be another correct word, too. She tends to stretch things to the extremes; that way of thinking is clearly a result of her bipolar disorder. Between trying to change people's situations for the better and being very suspicious about them, one can remark that Zephillla makes decisions using her heart and mind equally. That is, if she makes any decision at all. About half of the time Zephillla does have a strategy and half the time she'll wing it. There's a fifty-fifty chance.
Back to the leadership role. She may or may not chastise someone for their actions if it won't affect something/one in a significant way, or if Zephillla owes them something. She's more self-centered, having a 'you don't bother me, I won't bother you, so then we'll be in agreement' type of rule, focusing on creating allies for herself simply for the benefits.
The section between timidness and confidence is often ventured, crossed over, mixed together, folded over, whichever. Zephillla's not shy, she's bored; Zephillla's not confident, she's reckless, her mind flashing that she has nothing to lose to her body/mouth, so might as well wing it. Results from these on-the-spot decisions come up with various situations. Admittedly, some are negative ones besides the positive. In the case where her response was incorrect or foolish, Zephillla engulfs herself with regret for the matching/'appropriate' number of hours.

That young adult biting back comments? Yes, that sounds about right in Zephillla's description. She slips a mask on around other people, being quite good at changing gears, although she generally lets herself run free on the internet. This has aroused some suspicion before.
Another thing: after moving and transforming so many times, change is really her closest friend at the end of the day. She feeds off it.

Travelling for sure is her main hobby. She has a tendency of avoiding urban areas, rather much preferring the freedom of roaming suburban and rural regions. If there's one thing Zephillla doesn't lack, it's QUESTIONS! Exploring her planet. Hiking and long-distance jogging also makes the list along with that, although it is worth mentioning she isn't a great sprinter or runner at all. Hanging out in either the library or a bookstore is another top favourite; the scent of so many pages topped with deep writing is simply intoxicating. She generally grabs a bite to eat and reads here, half the time using library computers to write, research, or do other relaxing activities. Museums are yet another attraction, and depending on the weather, Zephillla plays with her cat indoors or outdoors.

Six months after she was born, Zephillla and her parents moved into the outskirts of Ann Arbor. They moved from one north corner of Ann Arbor to a bit north of the middle of Holland, seven years later. Zephillla considers this her true hometown. Her dialect was gained through that place, as well as good friends, truly great close friends, and two best friends. Two years after that, they changed neighborhoods, going south. The sudden switch jolted her. It was the trigger to the beginning to a wearisome childhood journey that would seep into her teenage years and beyond. No friends were made, just classmates.
Two years passed and the family of four moved yet again, this time to a gated community. It wasn't top-notch - that wouldn't be necessary - but it was safer than other dwellings. Her family moving this much was the effect of her father's job thriving well enough that he got called to work from other hospitals. Purely by coincidence, Zephillla and her best friend there were joined up by a teacher. Zephillla was actually supposed to show her to-be-friend the ropes, since their first day of school was delayed about a day or two.

Is number two Zephillla's unlucky number? Or could it be silent revenge from even numbers, since she's fonder of odd numbers? No quantities of thinking'll prevent these next two years, and honestly, it was another major portion of what molded Zephillla's core. That year was the cutoff year where all the students in that grade from the district would have to choose and change schools, being separated further. This young lady chose to pursue the elegant French language; meanwhile, her closest friend chose Spanish. They acquired new friends from their new groups, the latter having a more enjoyable time with it. Zephillla retreated to her computer to gain 'real' friends. She could be herself there. In school, she was forced to either remain the one isolated, intelligent kid for the rest three years, or to somehow get the advantage of friends. It was around this where confusion rolled in. She only intended to 'use' her friends to keep her reputation and get assistance, if, say, she took a sick day. And indeed, when speaking of her three friends she did use that word ('use') without reminding herself every five seconds. However, while being in their presence, Zephillla laughed a real laugh along with them, content, barely thinking of manipulating them. Maybe the girl was simply yearning for people to surround her and would latch onto anything to do so.

Two-thirds of the way through the school she encountered the possibility of homeschooling. After wrapping up that year, Zephillla started to run away for small chunks of time, bringing books to teach herself. Proving herself, looking at it from higher lens. It led her parents to embracing the concept of homeschooling up 'till 18 years of age. Not because Zephilla proved herself, but because it'd block her from running away completely. Be mindful of the fact that she had information, attained from the internet, at her disposal.

18 years old. It struck Zephillla. She moved as southeast the bottom borders of Holland. (Zephillla had grown to relish change instead of fear it.) She'd been uneasy about living close to water, but not for drowning reasons; Zephillla moved smoothly in water. Aquarius was her horoscope, and she could swim...water represented her. Zephillla was afraid of herself the most. What exactly is unknown. On a similar note, turning 18 never meant she automatically absorbed random knowledge and direction in her life. Ha! As if. Having more freedoms, after being trapped under the vigilant gaze of her parents, sounded phenomenal. Inspired, Zephilla began to gather material from her earlier years and take notes to produce a film, pieces of art, and writing, about her history so far. Just for kicks, she could compose music to set the tones and mood.
Enter the artist's block.
Due to it all being notes, setting a time and place to accomplish her self-assigned project wasn't required. Zephillla's studies kept flowing. Thinking and retrieving material/information from her past were supposed to be enough hindrances. That path took another route; she lagged behind on the ideas she felt were right. Stressing on her life and other factors (dealing with being bipolar, for instance) deprived her of much needed sleep. And in the event that Zephillla did hit the hay, nightmares plagued those next days. It felt like she was playing awful mind games with an unknown force. So when the dreams of a stranger dotted the dream horizon...let's say she was increasingly skeptical of her sanity, at least. Hell, it probably left Ann Arbor when she did and walked off a cliff.

Born in a family of four, Zephillla has a brother younger than her by about 4 1/4 years. Her father is a successful transplant surgeon and her mother an fairly good ENT (otolaryngologist) with some interests & volunteering on the side.

She was also the one who convinced them to adopt a hamster when she was nine. Later, a decision crept upon her then ten-year-old self: exchange her beloved rodent for two siblings? They would keep each other company, or so the young'un thought. It wasn't too long after that they displayed aggressive behaviors toward one another and were forced to be separated.
At fourteen years of age, Zephillla adopted a sky blue Budgerigar parakeet, since it was the grey duckling in the cage. All the others were green. When she finally began working at the place for her ornithology interests instead of merely a volunteer (18 years), the parakeet eventually became one of the organization's pet companions, and she allowed him to be. The following year, Zephilla adopted a female black and white kitten she named Domino... Domino is almost three years old now.

Hayes grew up in a small house outside of Holland with his older siblings and his parents. He grew up with very little money and things were pretty rough and they only got rougher. When Hayes was 12, his mother passed of cancer. With his older brother, Damon being the golden child and his sister Elizabeth being the only girl, Hayes got the short end of the stick when it came to who their father took their rage out on. He didn't dare come out gay either. Hayes left his childhood home at 16 never looking back. Dylan grew into a 185 pounds and 6'2 tall man with a very lean and muscular build as a result of his many frequent physical activities. His hair is a natural dark brown, slightly longer and messy with soft curles down it's length. He likes to have it run free on his head and casually play with it during the day from time to time, combing it with his fingers. His eyes are dark brown, almost black, often semi-closed as if he's always focusing on something. In reality it's a result of his hard life. He has no tattoos on his body but carries a long surfer necklace and a small bracelet he got on his 18th birthday from Claire, his then girlfriend.

His way of dressing is very simplistic, partly due to him being modest and partly because he's relatively poor, often seen just wearing jeans and plain short-sleeves. Occasionally when the nights get a bit chilly or when heading to the hilltop he'd take his clean grey hoodie with him.

He has a few scars on his legs, mostly around his knees from skateboarding accidents, but seeing as how he was never a very flashy skateboarder he didn't fall often. Scars, mostly scratch marks, are very small and few.

He mostly stays silent unless spoken to, very frequently giving short answers unless he's talking to Lou. Although an adventurer at heart, he's been locked in a fight with depression for a while now which kept him from dedicating himself to his passions, like travelling and socializing, enjoying the good life. He's had a rough transition from a held-back extravert to an almost fanatical introvert. He's not the type to blow people off when spoken to, he's raised better than that. However, his way of leading a conversation can lead most people to believe he's extremely uninterested, and rightfully so. This can also make him look like a dick to people who don't know him or his background, something he will never reveal to a stranger. Dylan grew up in a small family of three in the small town of Holland, to his father Sean, a hardworking local handyman, and Jill, a housewife. He's had a bad life for as long as he can remember which took great effect on his overall state of mind. The few good memories he has are all before the age of 10, when his family was whole, and although not wealthy, they had a loving relationship and a warm place to call home. It was sometime after his 10th birthday that he started noticing his first neighbor coming around the house more frequently than before. At the time he didn't think of it too much, but the shock came when one morning he woke up without a warm breakfast waiting for him in the kitchen, his clothes were not neatly laid on a chair besides his bed for the new school day and there was no sign of his mother. Just a small note left on that plaid tablecloth that simply said "Sorry".
It took a while for him to get over the fact that his own mother walked out on them, but his wounds healed eventually, garnering a certain hatred towards her.

In high school, few years later, he met his best friend, Jacob and a girl he didn't think of much at first but that would soon change. Claire was his perfect counterpart and he struggled for a while with the thought of doing anything to endanger their friendship, but one drunk Saturday night they kissed in junior year and from then on their young love would only grow stronger. The three of them, with Jake, used to go each day up to a small hilltop outside Holland to drink beer and enjoying the sunset together dreaming of things to come.
Unfortunately, as Dylan knew best, good things never last. During his routine job, his father was struck by lightning while doing some handywork at someone's house. He passed away on the spot leaving young Dylan in shatters and officially an orphan. Not only did he lose his home and feeling of safety, he had lost one man who raised him to be a forgiving and caring human being, one that taught him so many things during his 16 years of life. Losing his only source of income, his house was soon taken away along with rest of his belongings. Luckily he had Jacob and his gilfriend to look to. Young Dylan, crushed from inside would never be the same, but he still had people who cared for him. They noticed immediately he had changed from a cheerful and optimistic young man to an empty and resentful shell of a boy, spiteful towards the life he was given. Although he would act out at school he never turned away from Jacob, at whose house he was now living, and Claire, who still managed to creep out a smile out of him now and then.

For a few years things were looking better. The three finished college and Dylan finally had a break in his life. He was hoping to go to college sometime in the future, unable to pay for it at that moment, so he decided to work two jobs at a time just to gather enough money for his future. Both Claire and Jake went to find their luck elsewhere in the US, studying at different universities, while Dylan had to stay behind. It was a tough decision to make, but love eventually prevailed and him and Claire decided to try long distance, despite all odds. And with all the little bumps and bruises, in the end it worked out as he was now able to finally afford university. He decided to go not too far away, and applied at the University of the nearby city of Ann Arbor, trying to pursue a career in economics. After a few months, his two favorite people were back in town and were ready to come see him in the big city, but as fate would have it, they would never arrive. A careless truck driver went into their lane and collided head on into their car, leaving both of them dead.

Dylan, severely depressed and feeling very much alone, considered suicide every time. But he could never do it. Each time he'd reach that hilltop and consider leaping over the edge he'd always remember that one day when the three of them sat right there on that very same ridge overlooking their small town and talking about their futures. He thought it would be selfish to rid himself of his life and not fulfill at least one dream they had. So even in their deaths they would push him onward, molding him into a very resilient and self-reliant, yet lonesome individual. He eventually got a dog that would keep him company seeing as he now tried to avoid any type of attatchment, fearing it's repercussions. He returned to Holland and got a job at Lou's Vinyl, a job he previously worked at before going to college, an old and kind man who acted as his new father figure after his old man died. He's currently taking a year off from college trying to collect his thoughts after the loss and lives at Lou's shop, in a small room behind that used to serve as a storage unit. Lou is the only person he still talks to frequently.

Standing at 5'0", Cardlin is considered quite short for a male of his age and is often pointed out on this fact. However, Cardlin is proud of his height. He refuses to allow people taller than him assist him if he is unable to reach something. He will climb if he has too. Though he does get put out when people constantly point out the fact that he is short. Cardlin's hair seems to have a mind of its own, preferring to rest atop his head in messy curls. He does try to tame it but it resists his every effort and so he eventually just gives up and lets it do what it will. His eyes are a bright blue that turn slightly gray when he is upset. Cardlin's physique could be described as slender and even so far as calling it petite. He has some muscles but they are lean and compliment his small body. He weighs around 100 lbs and doesn't seem to gain weight no matter what he eats due to his fast metabolism.

Cardlin is normally described as a kind and caring individual. He tends to put others needs before his own and won't hesitate to help someone if he feels they are in need of assistance. However, this battles for his desire to remain out of the spotlight and not draw attention to himself. He has a difficult time reaching out and bridging the gap between himself and others. Despite all of this, Cardlin has a stubborn streak and will not budge if he sets his mind to something. He's not one to anger easily and he tends to shy away from conflict, much like a turtle would retreat into its shell. Another trait of Cardlin's is that he has a bad habit of bottling up his problems. This stems from his previous relationship where his partner would always cut him off if he tried to speak about his problems and such, telling Cardlin that if he cared, he would have asked. Strictly speaking, Cardlin should not be alive. After three boys, Cardlin's mother was warned she should not have anymore children as she had had problems when the twins Declan and Rion were born. But Rosaleen and Michael desperately wanted a baby girl. Against the doctors warnings, they tried for another baby. They prayed day and night and in August, Rosaleen missed her monthly cycle. Hoping against all odds, she went to the doctor and almost burst into tears of happiness upon discovering she was pregnant. When they discovered they were having another boy, they were disappointed but vowed to love him just as much. Throughout the pregnancy, Rosaleen and the baby were carefully monitored and thankfully so when Rosaleen went into labor on a cold December night, a good four months before her due date. It was a long and painful labor and there was a critical point where the doctors would have lost the mother and child if they had not preformed a C-section when they did. Both lived though Cardlin spent the first couple months of his life in the hospital on careful watch of the doctors and nurses. Because of his premature birth, Cardlin suffers from a weak immune system and can get sick very easily. He is also prone to ear infections and can have breathing problems if his body is worked too hard. Despite these complications, nothing stopped him from running around outside with his brothers.

The doctors had feared that Cardlin's growth would be stunted and his parents adopted this fear when he didn't get his teeth or much hair until he was two. As a child, Cardlin had always looked younger than he actually was and people in the shops were very surprised to see what looked like a toddler speaking in full sentences. However, when they started going to the eye doctor for annual check-ups, it was discovered that Cardlin suffers from monochromia, complete color blindness where the only colors he can see are black, white, and shades of gray. All in all however, he was a happy and bright child who adored his older brothers. His brothers adored him right back and didn't mind when he followed them around everywhere. Closer to his age, the twins were Cardlin's partners in crime where they got into all sorts of mischief. However, Cain was never far behind to get them out of trouble. With his condition, his brothers and parents did not treat him any differently. His brothers even tried to help by telling him what the color of things were; the sky is blue, the grass is green, etc. They even made a game were they would bring him objects like apples and such and he would try to guess what color is was. Cardlin was never burdened by his lack of color. Instead he accepted it as a part of himself and strove to not be brought down by it.

Her soft-curled, shoulder length hair is dense but yielding, and thick enough to lose your fingers in. Although having a head full of hair, Laketta prefers to wear her hair in protective styles (braids, weaves, wigs, etc.), which allow her hair to grow longer and healthier. There's a certain elegance in the way that Laketta holds herself: good posture, long confident strides and head held high. She often looks taller than her height of 5'7, considering that she's always wearing heels when she has a choice.

If you had to describe Laketta in one word, most people would choose terms along the lines of "intelligent", "adamant" or "bossy". While she can't entirely deny any of those, Laketta considers the core aspect of her personality to be determination. Her intelligence is mostly based on her determination to do well. A textbook extrovert, Laketta loves to chat with people (unless she's having a bad day, in which case she still loves to talk, but she leans towards negativity and passive-aggression) and tends to be genuinely friendly. She does not shy away from talking to strangers.

Aside from being very friendly, Laketta is a perfectionist who has high standards for herself, and has a tendency to correct people and nitpick. She is confident in herself and her actions, often to a fault. She is very opinionated, has trouble asking for help, and hates admitting when she's wrong. When things don't go as she planned or in a positive direction, she can get frustrated very easily. Laketta has a bit of a "potty mouth," and uses profanity even when she isn't trying to. She also has a lot of trouble controlling her temper, and whenever someone pushes her to her limit, she'll snap; it will often result in her yelling a large number of obscene words, throwing objects, and even going as far as to get physical.

Despite all of her shortcomings, there's no denying that Laketta is extremely dependable. Laketta Lewis was born and raised in Harlem, NY, the youngest of three. Her father was a criminal defense lawyer, and her mother a pediatric surgeon. Because of her parents' busy schedules, however, Laketta and her brothers spent most of their time living with their Grandmother in Brooklyn. Because of this, the siblings never formed a strong relationship with their parents, and always preferred to chill out with Grandma. While her brothers eventually grew out of this, Laketta never did. While everyone else was out partying on a Friday night, she'd be sitting in the house with her Grandma watching Matlock.

Unlike her older brothers, Laketta was extremely introverted while growing up, and never made friends very easily. She'd spend most of her time, if not with Grandma, in her room, singing and writing songs. It wasn't until she was eleven that her Grandmother finally convinced her to audition for the school production of The Wiz. While her acting wasn't as good, Laketta's tremendous voice landed her the lead role. It was then that she started to break out of her shell. As she grew older, her acting and singing skills improved, as well as her social skills. She'd started to spend more and more time rehearsing or hanging out with friends, and less time staying home with Grandma. When Laketta was fourteen years old, her father got a job promotion, resulting in them having to move across the country to LA. The siblings were forced to leave their Grandmother behind, and never got a chance to see her before she passed away.

As Laketta grew older, she started to realize who she really was, and who she knew she wanted to be. Although she was finally starting to show who she truly was, in her parents eyes she was just "acting out." Instead of striving to become a doctor or lawyer like her parents wanted, Laketta focused more on singing and basketball. Instead of going to Church and being a "model Christian," she decided that she was not religious, but spiritual. Her parents finally drew the line when she brought a girl home from school in the eleventh grade and introduced her as her girlfriend. After kicking the girlfriend out of their "Christian home," Angela and George Lewis proceeded to beat Laketta until she bled, wanting desperately to "beat away the gay."

As a result, Laketta ended up moving in with her eldest brother, Leon, and his wife for the rest of her high school years. She got a job waiting tables to help them pay bills. Although her grades weren't superb, she did manage to snag a Basketball scholarship to a nice college in Ann Arbor. Once she earned her Bachelors Degree, she became a Librarian and is now pursuing her Master's. She still sings every other night at a choice lounge or bar, and is still chasing her dream of becoming a famous singer. She has not spoken to her parents since the incident during Junior Year.

Danny is a tall young man who almost borders on the lanky side, with fuzzy black hair, brown eyes and a smile that quite a few people have called dopey. As his profession demands, he’s basically 165 pounds of wiry muscle, well-trimmed and absolutely covered in bruises. Danny is, at his core, an absolute puppydog of a man, friendly to everyone he meets and always ready to laugh at jokes he doesn’t fully understand. Danny is obsessed with his dream of being a professional fighter, and so spends pretty much every moment he can exercising, practicing, or watching old boxing footage to try and get an edge. Danny was born as the middle child of five to a lower-middle class household in downtown Ann Arbor. His father worked at a factory and his mother ran the night-shift at a local diner, so much of his early life was spent in the company of his older siblings, Tommy and Angela, just as he later helped raise his younger siblings.

Danny struggled for much of his academic career, due to a mediocre ability to retain information and a failure to even pretend to pay attention in class, even being held back a year in first grade until his reading got up to snuff. Nevertheless, with some hard word and a little tutoring, he graduated middle of his class from Madison High, and immediately sought employment at a factory alongside his father. For a few years he lived at home, spending his days at work and his nights dead asleep, and in the back of his mind the inexhaustible optimist wondered if that was all that life held for him.

As long as he’d been old enough, Danny loved to box. He’d watched every fight tape, every boxing movie, had spent hours at the school gym running drills on the one moldy bag available. Now, when his life was just one day of toil after another, he began to dream of fame, of being one the toughest, fastest warrior in the ring. He redoubled his training, quit his job with his parent’s blessing and set about chasing his ambitions full-time. He still lives at home, training and getting whatever fights he can and supplementing his income as a server in one of Ann Arbor’s finest burger joints.

Mark has become an incredibly transient employee, jumping from one job to the next after he feels he has gotten bored of where he is at. Right now he is holding two jobs, the first as a barista at a local coffee shop by day and the second as a bartender by night.

| In-Depth Appearance |

Given his heritage, Mark is actually quite tall, relatively speaking, with his lofty 5’6” stature that he has been “blessed” with. And thanks to an adventurous lifestyle, he has been able to maintain a rather athletic build, weighing in around 140 lbs. His raven black hair, which has as many “styles” as there are days of the week, is complemented by a pair of honey brown eyes that are playful and somehow always looks like they are up to no good. Remarkably, the boy is only slightly tanned despite the great deal of time he spends outdoors.

For clothing, it isn’t all that surprising to see Mark decked out in anything from trendy sweaters and khakis to bumming it in a t-shirt and pajama pants. It’s all based on what he feels like wearing that day, although a certain black leather jacket has been growing on him lately.

After years of trying to be the model son for his parents, Mark has finally started to cut loose and be true to himself. And he has found that deep down he is a surprisingly huge dork that loves meeting people and making them smile. His previous lifestyle, which strived to make every aspect of it be strictly regimented, has caused him to become more spontaneous with his decision making and to truly enjoy living in the moment. There’s a lot that he still has to learn though, as he has ended up in a few tense situations due to his own lack of understanding and his habit of being a bit too trusting of strangers, but he hasn’t regretted leaving his old self behind once.

Everything Mark does, from his expressions to his laughter, is done with an animated energy that has an authenticity to it that seems almost ridiculous at times. And that is how he treats people as well, with a genuine attitude and an open mind that knows too well how limited his understanding of the world is. But there are times where his intelligence often gets the best of him at times, as he is all too prone to making smart ass remarks to people, making his company best suited for those that can take a joke. Also, romance is something he hasn’t really but too much thought into, as in his head he is far too busy trying to figure out who he is as a single person to worry about what he would be like in a relationship.

While he still enjoys a number of nerdy activities like playing video games and binge watching crappy SciFi shows, Mark has been branching out into more social pursuits, such as drinking with friends and partying. And based on that leather jacket of his and recent collection of motorcycle magazines, it is safe to assume that motorcycling is likely a likely addition to this list.

As second generation Americans, Mathew and Hannah Song were determined to provide their children with a life that was much better than their own. Thus, Mark Song was born to a doctor and a big wig at an accounting firm, and had two large worlds worth of expectations placed on him from an early age. The word “extracurricular” quickly lost its meaning to the boy, as his parents required him to attend them regardless of his thoughts on the matter. But while stressful, his childhood was by no means bad in his opinion, as both his parents loved him and his sister dearly, even if they were constantly busy with work even while they were home.

Life went on rather predictably for Mark. He was the stereotypical book smart Asian kid throughout school, which led to him forming few close bonds since he had so little free time to offer. At the time, he didn’t mind this so much, as he truly wanted to make his parents proud of him. And it goes without saying that besides taking Heather Park to prom, as friends at that, his romantic life as always been a bit of a joke. Again, Mark didn’t truly mind as he figured that would find a way to sort itself out once he got a good job. So to accomplish that, he would have to go to college.

Just like that, Mark found himself coasting through his courses at the University of Michigan, in the end following in his father’s footsteps to become a hot shot accountant. His entire life had practically been laid out for him, a fact that had barely registered to him. That is, until halfway through his junior year that his father died and he was forced to face the realities of what was truly waiting for him. High blood pressure had taken his father from him, having quite literally worked himself to death. But it wasn’t until the day of Mathew Song’s funeral and seeing just how little those that had known the man for years had to say that Mark truly understood just how empty the path before him looked.

Something snapped inside of the young man that day. Here he was, twenty years old, and with so little to show for it outside of his academic career. Classes quickly became monotonous, so it was little surprise when he finished the year with the lowest grades he had ever gotten in his life. Strangely, the sight of straight C’s, while horrifying to his mother, didn’t really faze Mark all that much. The achievement that used to satisfy him felt so empty now. The few people around him were not all that surprised when he announced that he was going to take some time off from college.

While initially opposed to the idea, Mark’s mom and just lost her husband and could not bear the thought of losing her son as well, so after some time she supported his decision. And so, for the next two years, Mark started diving head first into things that interested him, no longer unconsciously suppressing the person that he had been for so many years. And then one night, he started having the oddest dreams…

Kevin's overall build is slender, but well-defined and toned due to his physical training. He is 5'10" and weighs about 160 lbs. His eyes are blue, and he lets his brown hair grow out when it doesn't have to be short due to being in the National Guard. Likewise, he allows his facial hair to grow out whenever possible, though he does typically shave every three or four days regardless of whether he is on duty or not. He has a pair of wings tattooed on his back and no piercings.

Kevin is a very intelligent person; always pondering the world's great mysteries. He always tries to improve himself in any way possible and by any degree; whether it's by learning something new, working out, or improving a certain skill. Any day that he doesn't feels wasted, and he feels the same way towards other people. When he sees someone who doesn't try to better themselves in some way, he feels like they aren't really trying and are wasting themselves.

He is also a very adventurous, almost unpredictable person, often doing whatever he does on a whim. One wouldn't think so, given how level-headed and calm he usually is, but he really does have quite the wanderlust. He does, however, suffer from an inability to follow through with many things that require planning in advance, and often times he'll move from one thing to another halfway through the planning phase. There is one thing that he has his heart set on though, and that is to travel the world on a bike.

I don't do "brief" well

Kevin was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to Kelly and Irving McBrien. His was a somewhat religious upbringing. Both of his parents were Catholic, his father a pretty devout one while his mother was more loosely connected to their faith. She was also a far more understanding person in general, and though Irving wasn't inflexible, he did have some unfair preconceptions about other demographics. His father was also a good amount more strict, but Kevin still respected him.

His youth was pretty average. His social life was lacking somewhat, but he was never without at least a few friends with whom he regularly hung out. He was a very smart student in school, and most schoolwork came naturally to him; especially science. He was always a very inquisitive person; questioning anything he could think of and trying to figure it all out. He loved learning how things work, but there were several things that he couldn't really get a clear, or consistent answer to.

Religion, philosophy, politics; the more abstract something became, the more interested in it he became, and also more frustrated. It wasn't really until high school that he began to ponder these things, but the more he thought about it, the more angry he got with people that they can't realize how intangible and uncertain these things were, yet people would argue with, demonize, and even kill each other over such things. It was at this point that he became an atheist, and his disdain for politics in general was formed; much to his father's chagrin. His mother wasn't unsupportive, though she did vocalize her concern for Kevin's atheism. In all honesty, both of his parents' reactions annoyed him. He thought it was ridiculous how they could think any differently of him over something that to him seemed so inconsequential.

He quickly grew tired of it, and when he graduated high school he moved to Ann Arbor in the hopes of getting away from them, and also to just get away in general and try something new. He started out pretty poor, though he made some friends while jumping from job to job, and the ones who were capable would help him out on occasion. He managed to stay afloat this way, but he realized it wasn't really sustainable and he would need to start college eventually. When he was 20 he decided to enlist as an Army National Guardsman to help make some extra money and cash in on the benefits. He hasn't regretted his decision yet, and with his training and his affinity towards guns, he got a decent job working at a gun store, and he decided to take up web design around the same time.

His life leveled off a bit by the time he turned 22. His interest in motorcycles led him to start a motovlogging channel on youtube, which brings in some extra money along with his government pay and freelance web designing. He started college around that time as well, though he has yet to decide on a major. Still, he has a reasonable amount of income, and his quality of life is pretty decent for the time being. He currently lives in a small, but relatively nice studio apartment near downtown Ann Arbor.
