"THE MONSTERVERSE"

- :A Kaiju Gijinka Roleplay: -

Chapter 0: - Prologue

The KGDF Headquarters: - TOKYO, JAPAN

Another day has risen in the land of the rising sun. For the staff at the KGDF Headquarters, it was nothing special for them. They were always busy, even when not monitoring the threat of an incoming kaiju attack or sighting. From loads of paperwork, to dozens of calls to take, it seems like no one can catch a single break. Not just yet anyways. Amongst the chaos of the business around her, Commander Akane Yashiro, or known by her nickname "Kiryu", stands motionlessly in the glass command center, overseeing the office area from within an arching glass wall. She ganders across a sea of incoming staff workers and other units alike, all seeming to be rushing to their own little destinations. If a kaiju attack hit them now, everyone would run to their posts like hell.

Most of the gijinka units seem to reside here as well, even those coming from the Eastern Operating Bases in the Pacific, like those in the Shatterdome of Alaska or the GDF US Palisades Base on the coast of Los Angeles, California. Most of them were going under maintenance and revamps of their own bases, which had been going on for the past five years at most. Yet the amount of these Kaiju attacks had been at their all time low, especially in that region. A region that was vulnerable and not-so-well protected. Yet they seemed to have been sparred by the kaiju invaders. Only a handful had ever been called upon within the last few years and they were mostly minor threats. The biggest threat they encountered was a trio squad of Category 3 Rift Kaiju located off the Coast of Beijing, which did prove rather challenging, but not to the point of impossible. The rest were simply individual kaiju, most not having taken much effort in defeating them. This prompted Commander Yashiro to drill the units strictly in all combat unit effectiveness, to maintain themselves in prime condition, ready to fight when the big one comes again. Still, most of the gijinka units still had a relaxed time with themselves.

Now, according to recent records, all of the West Coast GDF bases in the Americas are just finishing up on their renovations of their bases. Within a few days, with some facilities even mentioning within 48 hours, that they'd be welcome to return their gijinka units back into their respected "homes". It would be a sigh of relief for most of the Eastern KGDF facilities, having to take off a massive burden of newly acquired units to take care of. It was tiring to say the least, but Yashiro was slightly relieved to have them return. Perhaps her training montages would inspire them and improve their capabilities in combat.

They better anyways...

Meanwhile, down within the busy colony, Jaeger Unit "Gipsy Danger", clanks along to the living stations and heads towards her room. They were treated like regular human cadets, living in small but clean rooms in which to sleep, rest, and recharge for the next battle. Everyone's room was different in come design, but they were all sleek in design with smooth edges and has gleaming surfaces. Yet it made it all the more homier. As she enters the white hallway, she begins to find her room number, perhaps for almost the last time, as she checks her stuff and prepare to move out when the time came.

Monster Island - Pacific Ocean

50 miles off the coast of Japan itself, lies a jungle-covered island sitting lonely across a vast span of blue ocean. Yet this is no ordinary tropical island. This was known as "Monster Island", a kaiju hotspot in where most of the Earth Defender Kaiju reside in when they weren't trying to blend into the human atmosphere in the city... or destroying it during battle. While they defend Earth from some of the more extra-terrestrial threats from space or under the sea, most have little to no care in regards to the human race. They either don't do anything with them, or even despise them, mostly to how they are damaging the environment, or other factors. Only a very few have any real sympathy for them. But what they do care for most, is their home. They will protect Earth with everything their got, whether the humans go extinct or not in the process.

But there's one kaiju there that rules this island. Known as the infamous "Queen Of The Monsters", the mighty Godzilla rules these premises. If Skull Island is ruled by the King, Monster Island is ruled by a Queen... a far, FAR, stronger Queen for that matter. But she doesn't actually do much unless she actually senses an intruding gijinka coming on board. She can get quite grumpy in response. She's currently resting in a cliffside cave, just 2 miles off the coast of the beachside...

Meanwhile, down at the beach, her daughter Godzilla Junior was out and about sparring with some of the locals. In this case, she was just finishing sparring with Rodan Jr, daughter of Rodan Sr, who was off to catch some food.

As they were finishing up, Godzilla Jr simply pats her partner on the back and gives a toothy smile.

"Nice sparring match, eh Rody-chan?" Goji Jr says with a smile.

"Indeed Goji-chan," the flying kaiju replies with a quirky grin, "A good one it was. You're just like your mother!"

"Heheh, thanks!" replies the queen's daughter with a slight giggle, "You were good too! Hope to go for another one soon. See ya later Rody!"

"Until next time!" replies the pterosaur gijinka as she makes a running start to the ocean and then flies into the sky and far to the horizon, going who knows where, with Goji Jr waving her goodbye.

As she disappears upon the horizon, Junior was left alone. Having nothin else to do, she walks among the beachfront in search of something to do...

Rose “ly’lnd” Cythla

A few hours before dawn

If you were to examine the Tokyo penthouse suite owned by Rose Cythilla the first thing you might notice was how it was 90% library, with almost every wall lined with bookshelves. These shelves held everything from the works of Terry Pratchett and Iain M banks to historical texts and, pride of place, a copy of the Necronomicon sitting just below a PHD from the Miskatonic university. You might ask yourself how the young scientist had afforded such a place, the answer officially being her the very rich nature of the Cythilla family. In reality it was her large network of Deep ones that lived in coastal cities through out the world who had amassed that wealth and had pumped some of it into creating a backstory for their creator, to let her live free of suspicion when the 22 year old looking woman walked out of the sea one day. You might ask afterwards where she was, as the woman was strangely absent from her abode despite the sun still not being up and lack of current emergency to drag her out to work at this time.

The answer could be found if the curious individual were to need to use the bathroom during their snooping and in doing so was curious as to why the bathtub was full. Peering over the lip and into the water the far to inquisitive individual might be driven mad by what they saw, for the water somehow led to a palace deep beneath the sea, a place built with non-Euclidean geometry and Escher architecture.

If the unfortunate intruder where, in their panic and confusion, to fall into the tub they would find themselves far away at the bottom of the southern Pacific Ocean and be able to hear the end of a strange chanting echoing through the warped halls.

“Ch' ly’lnd, bug kadishtu shugg, hai f'-lloig wgah'n 'bthnk f'-gof'nn uaaah” *

The the transforming ritual was reaffirmed for another day and so the ly’lnd: star spawn of Cthulhu was once again able to shrink to the diminutive body of Rose Cythilla, Scientific Observer for the GDF and Kaiju expert. Fortunately nobody had ever tried to break into her home, so as Rose swam through her true home towards her temporary one in Tokyo, she did not meet a drowning intruder and instead launched herself through the portal, landing gracefully in her bathroom. There she swiftly dried herself, donned her work attire and, pausing to select a book to read while she on the Tokyo subway, set off to work.

*Crossover rose, go understand realm of earth, now their mind reside in body of their children

The KGDF Headquarters: - TOKYO, JAPAN

Rose worked as part of the scientific staff for the GDF, she was primarily part of a team that would be on the scene of a Kaiju attack, observing the battle in person from helicopter or other transport, taking notes, offering suggestions to the androids based on prior battles and also having rapid access to the cadaver of the defeated Kaiju. This notably also allowed Rose to be close and intervene if she felt it was necessary as she went to go 'take a closer look’ at the battle.

Rose had checked in with her servants via their psychic communication on the way here and so far both the, small but notable percentage of the staff and the deep ones living in the colony some way of the coast had nothing of note to report in terms of incoming hostiles. it looked like it was going to be another day of looking over old data and acting as the occasional consultant on various Kaiju related issues where she always pushed for advancement rather than stagnation. The amount of times she had had to argue against building massive walls and the like as a defensive measure was starting to get on her nerves. Humanity needed to keep pushing itself if it wanted to survive and then thrive on the galactic stage. As her servants of course.

Rose settled into her little corner of the office space along with her team, located conveniently next to the exit for when they needed to get to transports quickly, and tied to stay out of the way of the rest of the staff as they busied themselves with the day to day running of such a vast organisation. With the Kaiju front quiet and anyone wanting to ask questions about them currently worrying more about moving the existing androids than developing new ones, she settled down to trawl the existing data to try and see if she could work out when the next attack would be. She would go out and be more proactive at her job/mission once the morning rush had settle down, perhaps to see the american androids one more time before they had to leave.

The KGDF Headquarters: - TOKYO, JAPAN

REX walked about the halls of the KGDF headquarters, watching as the other androids, among other human staff, walked by as they went about their daily business or the matter of preparing to move the American androids back home from the far-Eastern bases they had all been relocated to. Yet despite this, REX himself had received additional orders and paperwork from back home, which according to these meant he had actually been transferred to this facility on a permanent basis. It was an odd set of orders, but ones he naturally would accept, if naught else because the Metal Gear had enjoyed the better quality quarters and such here, and the commander herself seemed to be a strong and disciplined individual. It was all at least better than the hangar that he and his few other American Metal Gear brethren had been living in before, though admittedly he had become quite accustomed to sleeping on a basic military cot before having been moved here.

Having been here a while, however, REX had become accustomed to the winding halls and such of the base, and it was not like he felt he could get lost at this point in time. After his new orders had been transferred to him, the KGDF seal of approval already stamped on it, he had been told to check in with Commander Yashiro about what his permanent accommodations and such would be now that he had been transferred to the Japanese base. This situation itself made him wonder, however, just what the American government was thinking by moving him here when they were supposed to have been making some room for the gijinka during their bases' maintenance and such. Perhaps it was to donate American firepower as thanks for the Eastern Bases holding the American gijinka? Did they just not want him anymore back home? Whatever the case was, REX had decided to take the matter in stride, keeping the cool look on his face and letting out a small sigh as he felt the glances of a few of the female employees on the base boring into the back of his head.

At any rate, the last he had heard was that the Commander was moving up to the glass command center. So with that in mind, that was where he was making his way towards. Eventually arriving at the metal door into the command center, the door whooshed open with its telltale sound, before REX stepped inside and looked about for the stoic commander. Eventually, catching sight of her, the Metal Gear simply moved over towards her, giving a salute as was his habit before beginning to actually address her.

"Commander, as of today i have been transferred to this base after approval by the KGDF and American government," REX said, his voice not torn nor excited, simply bearing his neutral and rather stoic tone of voice that seemed to be the normal for him, "I have been told to report in to you about where my permanent accommodations and will be and what roles i am to perform here."

Mothra
Temple of Amaterasu Omikami- TOKYO, Japan

The blue haze of young morning graced the sleeping Mothra silently, the small humanoid Kaiju not stirring it's comfortable bed coverings until the temple bells rang their familiar morning herald. The seemingly young girl, eyes dreary and mind sluggish, slowly sat-up in her mat. Mothra had lived in this charitable, homeless-caring Japanese temple for over four months now, the Kaiju having no intention in possessing a job in order to experience all that human society has to offer. Indeed, the monster had a great gratefulness for the humans who ran the humble establishment, for they allowed her to explore humanity without the responsibilities that many other, working humanoid Kaijus possessed. It surely wasn't the best homeless shelter, but it was still nice. Rubbing her stunning yellow eyes and scratching the back of her small head, Mothra started her daily, human routine. With sleep still gripping lightly to the girl, the Kaiju managed to wash herself, pin and dress her hair, and don her lavish, orange silk kimono. Mothra thought back to her servant Shobijins she had had to leave on Infant Island, who's tiny hands had painstakingly crafted the dress as a parting gift to their god. The Kaiju was quite sad the two pixies could not have come to see what humanity had to offer, but they both had an island to manage. Still, even in a metropolis filled with an over-abundance of people, Mothra felt somewhat lonely without her faithful servants.

Nevertheless, Mothra prepared herself with the other female homeless in the temple, and, after thanking the monks and nuns for their meager breakfast, started their way out onto the bustling streets of Tokyo. Lights blared, cars honked, and people shouted; it was all that Mothra loved from the human race. The different pitches of voices and living, the almost random intervals of quiet and sound; it was all so natural and fascinating, the fluctuation of an entire populace and race almost constantly through-out the day. Mothra, entranced by the senses surrounding her, slowly started her way towards the train station. Only then did the sun grace the whole world with it's presence, signaling the arrival of Earth's dawn. Mothra, however, descended the public stair-ways away from such rays; she would watch the sun beauty another day. Now, however, was a time for alternative money-making. The beautiful Kaiju sat down in her usual spot at the station, her bowl out-stretched and her fair features practically beaming. Mothra had always been rather intrigued with the act of begging; it gave such a humble and interesting outlook on the human world, much different from the lofty pedestal of an island goddess. Furthermore, it allowed her to see and experience so many other human activities; she could beg anywhere, at anytime, and see almost anything she wanted. It really was a shock why so many other humans didn't engage in this lifestyle with Mothra; perhaps pride was a truly worthy obstacle for mortals, who knows. Nevertheless, while the humanoid Kaiju pondered such variables, her begging was going along quite nicely. In around three hours she had accumulated a good five dollars from the smartly-dressed passersby around her. Wait, five dollars was just the amount she needed! Now all that Mothra worried about was that Mizu would be willing to take her by boat to such a prohibited place...

Indeed, Mizu was more than a little reluctant to transport Mothra to that dangerous island over yonder. The sailor had known the humanoid Kaiju for a year now, yes, and they were both extremely good friends; but really, a ride to monster island? Who did she think we was, an old man with a death wish? "I'm sorry sweetheart, but that's a no-can-do. You know how tightly the KGDF keeps that place under surveillance. I'd be jailed in under a week", the older shipman said, knowing very well that Mothra would not give up on her endeavor that easily. The humanoid Kaiju took out pen and paper, and rather quickly wrote up a note detailing the importance of studying the Kaiju away from KGDF influences. The young girl also mentioned how she would go to black-market transportation, if needed. "Oh, darling. Don't do that. People in that business prey off of innocents like you", Mizu said, his eyes locked on Mothra's now sadly downcast features. "Alright, alright, give me a week to tint my boat windows and then-", the sailor continued, unable to finish his sentence before being hugged viciously by the bright-smiling Mothra.

Monster Island - Pacific Ocean

Interactions: @Lmpkio

Mizu kept his head down as his boat quickly approached Monster Island. Both Mothra and the sailor kept hooded garbs over their faces, and the license number and name of the boat had been concealed with spare black tape. It truthfully wasn't the most secret operation, but both the Kaiju and the human knew what they were ultimately getting into. Mothra, however, knew why this truly had to be done; Mizu, less so. The Kaiju had not come to Japan only to socialize with human culture; there was a universal job needed to be done as well. Both the Kaijus of Monster Island and the humans of the KGDF, though convenient peace had been established for now, hated and warred with one another to an extreme degree. It was the power of these two sides that frightened Mothra; the machines of the humans and the muscle of the Kaiju taking out whole coasts and landmarks all at once, sometimes. If such power ever reached an apex, the destruction would be uncontrollable. Yet, during this more silent time, Mothra hoped to install some permanent peace between the two sides. She hoped to show that they both fought for very similar reasons, and thus could come to an agreement. Such peace would be essential in surviving, what Mothra predicted, to be an inevitable and terrible coming storm.

Before the Kaiju even realized it, her head in deep though, Mizu was depositing her off at the coast of Monster Island and quickly speeding away. The wake of her friend's white boat steadily lapped at the sandy shoreline as the humanoid Kaiju started to quietly look around. This island was truly a beautiful place, reminiscent of the "Garden of Eden" in human literature, if anything. Mothra, taking in the beauty, began a stroll down the placid beaches around her. She gave herself time to think and prepare.

Soon, however, a certain figure quickly caught her eye; A green, tailed humanoid with the face of a rather pretty young girl. Mothra, spotting the young Kaiju, was elated to see Godzilla Junior resting on the beaches' sand. Oh, how the child had grown so big since the last time Mothra saw her! For, indeed, it had been a long while since Mothra had such a pleasant run-in with the Godzilla lineage. Nevertheless, even though Mothra's standings were not the best with the child's adoptive mother, she could not help but enjoy seeing the enthusiastically happy Kaiju once again. It was always great to be re-introduced to Monster Island with a beaming smile instead of the usual ugly snarl, especially when that smile was from one of the most precious creatures alive. Calling out telepathically to the child, Mothra greeted Junior politefully. "It's so nice to see you again, Junior! You've grown so big since the last time I saw you on Birth Island, and changed so much. How have you and your mother been doing?"

Krustiger Fafnir

Shibuya 109 - TOKYO, Japan

"Would that be all, miss?" the store clerk asked Valkyrie as she paid for her clothes. The android was doing her best to fit in with the human crowd, as per usual. Lord knows the mayhem that would go down if she was exposed for the parasite she was. So keeping a low profile and staying in tune with the rest of the folks nearby was in her best interest.

"Yes," the android answered with a smile and nod. "Thank you." She took her recent purchase and briskly walked outside the department store. It would be smart to look around the rest of Shibuya.

However, while all the buildings, signs, and people in the street were interesting in their own way, the Krustiger was beginning to grow restless. It had been a very long time since the bioweapon had seen any real combat, and it was worrisome. If it went too long without fighting, its skills and tactics would surely grow rusty. Not just any opponent would do, no.

The Krustiger needed something big.

Valkyrie raced around Shibuya, her destination being any sort of coastline she could find. Somewhere she could look out over and see for as long as her eyes would allow her. Surely something would show up at some point.

If not, the Krustiger would just have to level a city or two. No big deal. After all, what is one demolished city to a being that has assimilated a giant?

Nothing more than a sandbox.

Akane "Kiryu" Yashiro

Mention: @Holy Grail

The stone-cold android turns slowly in a calm expression as she addresses to the voice behind her. Her face remaining mute as she turns to fully face REX, her hands behind her back. He addresses that his permanent residence will be here after having been transferred by the American KGDF group in the same stoic voice as many of the androids possess, and had been told to report to her about his next primary objectives and accommodations. Ah the Americans. Funny how they've sent him here rather than keeping them at the American GDF bases, which are just simply hours (according to them) from being able to get their androids back. Of course, they all have their reasons in just moving some out into the Eastern Corps. Of course, she knew this for the past few days and had been patiently awaiting for his arrival. Though the business here had caused her to almost forget about him.

"I hope you are already enjoying your stay here," she responds in a similar stoic manner, but much more cold with only a sliver of whats left of her humanity, "I feel like the Americans deserve you more than we do, but regardless, a room has already been accommodated for you. You'll be in room D-6 on the 4th floor of the South-Side Living Quarters. A mission has not been assigned to you at this time, however stand by for any possible notifications. You'll be assigned in fighting the threats around the Pacific Rim and in the mid-land regions across Asia and the Americas, unless a mission says otherwise."

She pauses for a quick moment.

"Anything else that needs to be addressed?"

Gipsy Danger

Mention: @DracoLunaris

Meanwhile, Gipsy Danger had just finished checking her room and was off to take one last look at the base before her departure back to the Shatterdome in the frigid state of Alaska. She didn't truly mind the cold that much, but her servos would occasionally remind her of her human-like senses. Her wires are like her nerves. They can feel disturbances and sting like crazy if they were harmed. If one of her limbs were chopped off, she would feel it. And she would probably scream. Gipsy was designed to be more human, in fact she is one of the first Generation 3 Androids of her age to have implemented this wire-nerve feature. Would've it been better if she didn't have these human-like senses? Sure. But it was a sacrifice the designers had to take to make her more aware and self sustaining. At least she didn't have to eat or drink, but does need to recharge every 24 - 36 hours, depending on how much activity she does.

As she walks in the halls of the offices, she just so happens to see Rose Cythilla working in her little office corner. Gipsy couldn't help but to simply greet her. After all, she liked her and her knowledge on the interior workings of the kaiju that were out there. Her knowledge can be useful when fighting these threats, especially if looking for a weak-spot. But ever since the kaiju lid dormant, she simply liked to have fun chats with her. As she approaches the scientist, Gipsy simply nudges her with her shoulder, followed by a little light chuckle.

"Hey Doc!" she replies with a cocky-looking smile, "Whatcha workin' on?"

Monster Island - Pacific Ocean

Godzilla Jr

Mention: @Gutshot

As Godzilla Junior decided to head back to her mother, she suddenly heard the telepathic message coming from Mothra. Turning around, she suddenly sees the giant moth decending from the sky, with her wings being illuminated by the rays of the morning sun. With a brief pause in awe, Junior smiles as she takes a few steps forward towards her location.

"Hey Mothra!" Junior replies verbally as she waves at her, "I've been doing fine. It's been a long time since we last talked! How about you?"

Mothra and Junior are pretty close friends unlike her more serious mother. She known her since she was a little toddler, barely several years of age. Godzilla Sr had some run-ins with the giant moth and while they have fought alongside one another in battles before, Sr still has some sort of bad taste in her mouth with her regardless. After all, when it also comes to her daughter, she is highly protective of her. Now that she's more or less a late-teen, capable of protecting herself, Sr has been more calm and relaxed in her capabilities in her defending herself, while having some more trust an respect for Mothra when in a more sober and less grumpy attitude.

However, there are still many monsters on this island that she would kill if they even got close to her daughter...

Rose “ly’lnd” Cythla

Monster Island - Pacific Ocean

Mothra’s travel across the sea had not been entirely unnoticed, as her unmarked ship passed across the waves it was followed below by one of the deep ones that made their home around the great city and whom Rose had watch the edges of monster Island. The squid like humanoid followed the ship stealthily, curious as to why anyone would go out here. The answer became apparent when the woman on-board transformed into a giant moth and took to the sky towards the beach. Knowing that ly’lnd would want to know that Mothra, one of the few beings that had been on the earth longer than even the old ones, was in the area they politely opened communication with the Cthulhi and relayed what was happening and the best description of their human form they could. This turned out to be: female, neck length brown hair and wearing an orange kimono, which wasn't great as an identifier went but it was still something to look out for.

The KGDF Headquarters: - TOKYO, JAPAN

Back at the headquarters Rose was rather blankly staring blankly at her monitor while she listened to the sneaky squid so when gypsy danger arrived she was taken surprise, much to her embarrassment. She let out a small squeaky noise of surprise, and spun round on the swivel chair.

”Miss Danger! you snuck up on me. What I was working on was… uh”

She glanced around and spotted Metal Gear Rex up in the command center talking to the commander.

”I was reviewing some of the old data and seeing if I could give any specific advice to Metal Gear Rex.”

She took this moment to mentally chastise the deep one who was closest to the door and should have warned her. They apologized but pointed out that she just barged in, like she always does. With some mental grumbling she got back to the conversation at hand. She should probably speak to Rex later anyway, to get acquainted with the android.

”In relation to our latest transfer from the Americas I heard you're going to be leaving us soon due to the west coast facilities coming online again. It will be sad to see you go. Do you know how much time you still have with us?”

Metal Gear REX

REX paused for a moment after the similarly stoic and cold female commander addressed him. He wanted to make sure he had addressed everything that was necessary, if naught else to not be a burden on his new...commander. Oddly enough, she seemed as cold as himself to enough of an extent, which seemed efficient in some sense if he were to be honest about the matter. Yet at the same time there was a sliver of something he could pick up while hearing and looking at her as she spoke...humanity, perhaps? He had been briefed by the American government on just what his commander was: an android/cyborg with a human brain of a deceased pilot implanted into her. It was odd, though at the same time rather intriguing as well. A human brain was capable of so much emotion and feeling, if his observations of human soldiers and such back home was of any indication to him in prior years. So as cold as she looked...as stoic as she held herself, was there something locked up underneath? Was there still a "human" of some sort still lying under the surface, at least in some sense of the word?

Mmm, but it did not seem fitting to ask about such a matter, especially having first arrived to this place. Perhaps for the sake of curiosity he could find one of the other American androids to speak with, to at least get the feeling of what they were thinking about actually getting to go back home once the bases were repaired. Then he could ascertain where he quarters were after having been just told the location, in order to see what sorts of accommodations he would receive as a new and official member of this facility. After that perhaps finding a training field or firing range of some sort would be possible, though that would come when it was able.

For now, though, it was time to respond to his new Commander's question.

"Duly noted, Commander," the android said in a professional manner, giving a prompt nod to acknowledge the information she had just given him, before a question slipped off of his lips afterwards out of curiosity about one of the things Commander Kiryu had said, "Though i must ask, why would the American deserve me more than this facility? After all, are we all not working towards protecting the world from kaiju?"

He hoped the question would not be rude, but the question seemed to nag at his mind at the last minute. The Americans had effectively dumped him upon this facility as far as he knew, so why would they deserve to have him more than this facility? Not that he was going to say the matter out loud and directly, as such would perhaps sound uncouth for a new android like himself who was speaking to his new commander for the first time.

Monster Island - Pacific Ocean

Otachi

Out of the dark and deep blue waters next to the shore of Monster Island began to emerge yet another kaiju, though not one that was a known or reoccurring resident of the place. Deep, blue colored hair and a pair of horn-like protrusions on her head were signs of her kaiju origins, though her skin was mostly an alien lighter shade of blue as well, something that was more distinct to see as more of her human-like gijinka head became more visible above the water's surface as she moved towards the sandy shore. Her eyes seemed to glow an eerie green not of Earth, though above the water in the daylight it was easier to see, and as such her eyes did not continue to glow as they would have at night. Yet while her eyes did not glow, the two dots on each of her horns continued to glow. As more of her body emerged from the ocean, the lean and sexy figure of the gijinka became visible, as were the spines on her upper back and the long, alien-like tail with glowing spots on it as well. As she finally would come onto the beach in full, however, it was easy to see the three-pronged, sharp, prehensile end of her tail that was far stronger and tougher than one might think.

Taking her first breaths of fresh air in days, Otachi looked about from side to side at the initial landscape of the island. It was...odd to her to see areas like this, full of plant and life and tough enough terrain to signify she had come to the right spot. Monster Island, a place where she could perhaps take residence for a time while trying to....figure things out. Yet from the information she still possessed from her creators prior to her somehow "breaking" from their control, this place did have an amount of other monsters here. Some that perhaps might not take kindly to her presence, if she had to guess correctly. Even so, she felt the risk was worth the effort, especially if she was able to give birth here eventually in a possibly safe place if she could find one here.

As it were, though, Otachi eventually caught sight of a pair of figures farther down the beach, seemingly human or gijinka in nature if she had to place a guess. Tilting her head with a certain curiosity about just what the two being she was seeing were, the gijinka began to walk down the beach carefully, not wanting to spook the two. Even so, it was not like her sudden emergence and heading towards them would perhaps be taken the best. Still, who knew what would happen?
