Also, on the topic of the Quixokotl, i just saw that one of my posts mention them. So if they are taken out, i'd need to be reminded so i can fix that.
@Holy Grail With humans... yes, relations would be likely. But like you said, they would be doing it to keep an eye on the Xenor more than anything else. Their relative lack of a navy would be limiting to that extent, but should any trades take place, the might need some "guards", muahaha.
Alright everyone, got an announcement. Due to passing the Two Week mark without further communication, JuliusCaesar will be dropped from the rp. Sorry man, you're much welcome to come back whenever, sadly someone else may take your slot.
Although with a slot open, @Holy Grail, you're free to take the spot of garden world if you so wish to.
@Sigma I will most definitely take the spot of a Garden World.
This will mean i have to revamp the Xenor Kingdom, though, since their concept was based on a species not living on a Garden World. I don't mind doing that though. Then again, perhaps alternately i can implement a secondary idea instead for a Garden World Race, with the Xenor being included on the same planet in some fashion. That in and of itself could be very interesting to boot! :D
My first idea would be opting for some kind of hive-mind insectoid race - though without a Garden world i'm looking for someone to of ejected me somewhere less ideal. If anyone is down for that I'd love to talk.
@Holy Grail Whatever you wish really. Garden Worlds can have up to three species after all.
@Taeryn Regarding the insectoids, if it is possible, just ask one of our players for any cooperation on the backstory. And if it doesn't work out, well, there is plenty of species to choose from for a non-garden nation(although we do have insectoids in the form of the Vraslil if that interests you)
Well arthropoids I would say but thats essentially the same thing.
It does depend what people are comfortable with - Im happy with conflict leading to leaving though likely with the assumption that were dead and gone at least until some time prior to the modern date, or other options that people might be interested in that are less conventional.
Well its difficult to pin down without finer details of origin but will of spent some considerable time burrowing out of necessity on one of the marginal worlds - and no doubt copious amounts of breeding if limited by current circumstance.
It wont be too out of the ordinary - though I do tend to opt for a sea of voices when it comes to Hives rather than a singular dominant queen or what have you. Its more interesting that way. As I say though, a lot that underpins the basics comes from the origin which requires a little discussion.
So have you thought about which world to begin on? We of course have Terra, Joord and additionally we have other worlds that are open for one more species, such as Itium, Erelvath and Holy Grail's yet to be named Garden World. Plenty of options to choose from provided if any player is open to the idea(we know the former first two are).
@Sigma@Taeryn Would not mind if you wanted to make a race that originates form my Garden World, though since i am still developing things it could still be a process.
So to be fair to you Taeryn, and not keep you tied up for an eternity in development hell, maybe one of the other planets with an already solidified set of races (thus far at least) and structure might be of better use to you than myself.
