That's good, because I'll be off work until Thursday, which means I can actually be active for a bit.

Random small update; I've decided Ancient Gear Manufacturing will be my only custom card; Mainly because the copies of it fill my 40 card deck up perfectly, and I don't want to remove anything to try and add anything spicy. Might end up with a plot card down the road or something, though. But until then, that's it. :p

Whoooa, that's a lot of new posts! I think I'll just abstain from making new cards, I'm pretty happy with my deck as is. Be sure to let me know if I got a bit excessive when I unveil it, though. There's nothing banned or broken in it, but there's some stuff that I can understand might rub people the wrong way like 3 Dark Laws.

Anyhoo, the only custom card I'm making is a guardian but I'm struggling a bit to find a good art source for it. Hmm...

Same, it is a struggle, though I found deviantart still had some decent things after a bit of searching. As for OP, I'm seeing easy chaos giants and since I also know my deck...It'll still be a relative lot of high-powered play, I guess.

Haven't 100% decided on the rules yet, but for requirements, I'd say at least a decent knowledge of the card game is all you need, but I and likely anyone who's alright with it would be willing to help you if you need any assistance.

I might actually give this a shot. YGO RPs are pretty much bread and butter of the old site I used to RP in, and I was wondering when one would come up. Not sure about this RP using the Link Rules, but I think I can manage it

...

Biggest problem would be what kind of deck I wanna run. I like Zombies, but I'm not sure whether I'd wanna pick an actual archtype or go generic in this regard :/

You can make up to 3 Custom Cards, not including your Guardian. So in total, a maximum of 4 customs, although I will allow additional customs for plot reasons.

At least 1 Paragraph per post should be plenty.

I think I know exactly which site that is, and it's one that I personally frequent.

And don't worry, Link Rules are in play with some homebrew adjustments, but no actual Link Monsters. If you want the skinny on the rules, it's on either page 3 or 4.

Doesn't really matter which you choose to go for, I'm not enforcing either generic decks or Archetypes. So go nuts dood.

No Link Monsters, but the new ruleset is still in play, sans the 12000 Life Points(debating on anime style 4000 or traditional 8000), which means:

-There are now two monster zone categories: Main and Extra. 5 main deck monster zones, as usual, but 2 extra deck monster zones, which each player can only have 1 of their Extra Deck monsters in at a time.

-Each player can only have one Extra Deck Monster on the field, and said monster goes to the Extra Monster Zone. However, and this is a homebrew rule, if the ED monster is Special Summoned without using its respective summoning method, it goes to the Main Monster Zone. Which means stuff like Ultimaya Tzolkin and Utopia Kaiser(which is still kinda unplayable, sadly) can still use their Special Summoning effects without any problems, but Pendulum Monsters summoned from the ED still hit the field one at a time. Additionally, Instant Fusion treats the summon as a Fusion Summon, so the monster still goes to the Extra Monster Zone.

-The Pendulum Zones are in the same row as Spell and Trap Cards, and can be used as such. Which means that Pendulum Monsters can be set in the Pendulum Zones now, but are not treated as being in the Pendulum Zone unless they are face-up.

Basically the rulings are the same as the new format that we'll be getting introduced to later this year, except instead of making the requirement of Link Monsters necessary to summon more than one Extra Deck monster, the zone that was to be used for Link Monsters is now used for Fusion/Synchro/Xyz monsters and therefor limits players to one Extra Deck monster each; Unless they are summoned without using its respective summoning method, as it says in the quote above.

This is to slow down the game a bit, so duels don't only last 3-4 posts each.
