@Liotrent Well, @6slyboy6 and I just started working on a colab but I'm going to be gone all day tomorrow (my family is driving from Washington to Missouri). It'll feel weird if the Perennial element of the story gets posted back to back. Perhaps in a few days there will be more posts before we're done.

@Liotrent There are at least 3 major factions inside the Emporium that want completely different things. But they don't fight because they all have faith in the Emperor and the Empire.

I feel like you don't understand how the normal humans feel about the Empire. It's their great heritage, something their kids, and their kid's kids will live in. It is the duty of every man to make the galaxy a better place for them. Individuals who oppose these ideals are shunned by others, and often don't live long. Not like there is many of them anyway. Every person knows that even if for some reason, he was to trun on his own species, the EOM is vastly more powerful and well informed, so they would die in the near future.

I doubt you managed to recruit 3 privateer fleets AND get into 2 fleets worth of EOM ships. Not on that short notice. Not with the current stability and influence of the EOM in all sectors.

But enough rabble, I don't need to tell you waht you can or cannot do.

I can go with this plan if this is like 90% of the Black Sun alltogether, focused to this singular location. And the 3 privateer fleets are from every sector, and have been affiliated with the Black Sun for ages. Then I cna say that this is an impressive effort, and I'll adjust accordingly.

If not, because somehow your movement is actually quite popular despite most humans being a fanatic about the Emperor (read mah CS), then I will adjust to that.

Understood, I will edit - if not re-write entirely, some of the wordings I understand were not well explained. For now I will void it.

@Liotrent No need to rewrite. Just tell me how you came to the final product, and I'll make a post accordingly. If you can explain to me why things are like this, we can come to an agreement. I am an understanding GM

OH! I see, I thought you were pissed *Nervous laughter* hard to tell what people feel on the internet, well, as you can understand three privateer fleets are not exactly... "Large" They are basically a size of the Gargan fleet give or take. The two fleets worth of Black sun wass suppose to be a small number, and I understand now that it doesn't seem small which is why I may need to edit it (I kind of wrote this while I was distracted by something and I forgot to change that part), I meant to say, have members in at least two fleets since being in all the fleets is impossible without unmonitored communication

(And would be OP as fuuuuuuuuck if the virus was successfully unleashed in all the fleets since it's a series connection, basically it will infect the next ship it is currently in contact with and then the next from the next ship, Domino effect)

which doesn't necessarily mean they are in the entire fleet, or all together they make up two fleets, it would be insane! I don't have those kinds of numbers, so to put it numerically there should be at least four whole marine companies worth or basically an entire battalion which is about 400 men plus the two companies and tech units at the Fortress which would make at least 600 men all together

(In addition I forgot to mention that some of those men would've probably been along with the ride down onto Raria now thinking about it further, so expect a bit of equipment going missing, and chaos being spread from there after the plan is set in motion.)

Which when put into perspective... Is a very very small percentage of your entire force, all they can really do is do their best to infect ships with viruses, or blow the ships they are on sky-high, or rather space vector high since they are in space. And I feel I should say the effect of the virus in the OOC cause this is something that may cause a bit of panic, if the ships are infected and the Virus propagates itself, the infected ships will point towards the nearest celestial body and FTL itself into oblivion, any attempt to change course will make the guns of the ship shoot in a vector towards the nearest clean ship (Clean meaning Virus free). Which is basically the plan.

@Liotrent Yeah no need to be nervous. I ain't evet pissed. If you don't know something, or I don't undersrand something, then I probably fauled my GM duties.

And just as a reminder, Iserlohn fortress is not here. You may have confused it with the civilian shipyard in orbit that the EOM seized after the civilians left.

I understand, but Iserlohn, is basically a back up plan, as stated in your post, it controls the only way out, so if all things go to hell, the main thing would be to keep it online and get the exit open if there is any major chance of any Rarians escaping. The civilian platform would probably have some Black Sun members if the ships docked there when they arrived and left a few marines or any other infantry then there might be a small detachment on that platform, but I don't intend for them to really damage that facility, so most likely they won't do anything except general supply stealing and stuff going missing.

@Liotrent Not exactly.

Iserlohn is not in this system. It is between Sector 17 and Sector 16, and has many powerful FTL inhibitors that allow no ships to exit Sector 17 towards the rest of the Empire. It is at least 2 jumps away from Raria, even for EOM Military ships. Why would you waste 200 men there, if any escaping Rarians would need to go AT LEAST 2 jumps to even get there. Not to mention that Iserlohn is a massive Military structure comparable to the first Death Star, meaning that civilians would jsut get shot to pieces.

I see... In that case, we might save that for some other time, unless there's a way to switch the polarity of the inhibitor field so no one can enter via-FTL? I'd imagine cutting off possible reinforcements to be a thing, while being able to pick and choose which ships enter the sector would be nice, but I see your point, it's quite a ways away.

@Liotrent Interesting idea, but the battle at Iserlohn will be your next big event. Which will hopefully bring around the next Chapter. Gosh, we really need to get things moving.
