@Sophrus I guess you have a new race among your ranks. I am surre Pyro can fill you up on the smaller details if you choose to employ his race. In which case we would still have to resolve the posion gas flooding into the cities issue.

@Sophrus Their races are, and they never cesed to exist. However, the races of Ryteb, Ozerath and WrongEndOfTHeRainbow are not to be included because they only had one post before.

Plus I encourage you to seek out for more races, because I am here listening, not only as the EOM, but as the races of the galaxy, like teh Mekhar, Kegran and the ill-fated FPA original member races. Like the choice I gave you now, I can always offer you help when you think it is needed. I never expected you to break through that bloackade with only the 4 player races avaible now. The whole point of the Mekhar assignement is to get enough people together in the rebellion.

But now you should begin on making posts about the issue at hand, because the EOM is growing restless.

Good, thats what I like to hear. XCOM 2 is getting a new expansion with tasty new features, and I intend to spice the RP up as well. Apart from you getting those new ships, and hopefully capturing Iserlohn fortress, Chapter 3 will hold many more changes for you. But you'll have to work hard to get there, as I don't intend to just throw away all the secrets.

@Legion02 I am quite happy with that post. I have to be honest, it made me smile. Mostly because it just triggered one of the hidden events that I told you about. You will see the results later, once you fight for Raria.

And you just gave @Sophrus a nice emergency signal to respond to, and meet with your faction. Ah, I love family reunions. That reminds me, of our vote, so I may incorporate this post into your meeting with the Follok.

This is the closest I can get to portrait the Imperial ships for you, and I am honestly surprised that such a close match in desgin exists. I love these flat capital ships, and some of the more Halo like smaller frigates, but I generally go for the look above when I imagine scnese in my head.

@LegionPothIX Wait, wait, wait, wait.

Why would the EOM use Warp Gates. Most of the EOM doesn't have warp gates, because of this exact reason. The ships use either their own FTL, or the inhibitors on larger ships.

The only thing that resembles a Warp Gate are the FTL Anchors used at the checkpoints between Sectors (like Iserlohn). So I struggle to see why we would be using such an outdated and unsafe method of travel.

But *sigh*, whatever, I guess I'll roll with it.

@6slyboy6 The system requires a warp gate to enter it due to all the stellar phenomena surrounding it. That's how the pirates took over in the first place. Your point probably should have been raised in my very first post when the gate was mentioned, and specifically stated to have been moved in the first place. It's been turned to face the sun to provide a brief bit of disorientation and sensor malfunctions due to being so close to the sun's radiation. Warping into the system has an element of confusion attached for anyone who hasn't been there since the pirates too over, and it's never been fixed since the EOM never gave a shit about this place until there was something to exterminate.

It's supposed to be an uphill battle because they're entrenched and prepared (thus was the reason why there was political BS slowing down EOM response in the previous post and me saying in that post that it gave them time to prepare). Even still, Pirate resources are limited and so it's not impossible that the EOM would retake the system, and force the Perennials to flee, it's just supposed to cost them a lot to do so. That was the point: for an empire of seemingly infinite resources they're going to still feel the cost of this battle.

@LegionPothIX Oh well, I must've missed the point about a warp gate because I use them in other RPs, and I got confused. But ye, I can see your point with the whole reason for the gate.

Then again, I don't see why a whole fleet of EOM ships would enter. I did say double the patrols, but if we don't give a shit about the place, why would we come here anyways? Like 0×2 still equals 0.
