"Oh, right. Sorry!", Hugo said. He was in a strangely good mood, despite the circumstances. It was almost like this was a game to him. The noises caught his attention once more, but Rikeno's collapse drew his attention. That couldn't possibly be comfortable. Bit of magic would fix that up.

A puff of green smoke erupted from the end of Hugo's pipe and snaked its way under the exhausted comrade, lifting him out of the mud. The cloud would follow Hugo wherever he went until dispelled.
