Really? Iikka doesn't seem the type to wait for a direct answer from someone before moving ahead, even if it was a crucial answer and not semi-rhetorical, like those posts made it seem.

Besides, there's a spaceship and a dying alien. I think that warrants a response overriding whatever Iikka might have said, anyway.

That, and it's risky to wait too long, since that resulted in a three-week lull the last time. Just some suggestions. =)

I think Iikka needs a direct answer because he thinks he is hallucinating.

Exactly that. Like I said previously, Iikka is under the impression he is suffering from a severe concussion and is hallucinating like woah.

Until he gets some kind of response to his fumbling around and query as to whether or not blood is gushing from every orifice on his head, the only thing I could really write for him is having a panic attack in response to the increasing severity of his apparent hallucinations and possibly having a mental breakdown on the spot and turning catatonic.

This would not be terribly conducive for either the plot or for everybody escaping the construction site on time. '-'

Somebody - Jason specifically, since Iikka last approached him begging for a little bit of help and since everyone else is sort of ignoring him in lieu of the spaceship - needs to come to his assistance and tell him that no, he's not hallucinating or dying from cerebral hemorrhaging. :P

Noted, but also remember at least one character is interacting with both ship and alien now, and that character is interacting with a second. Even if Iikka still thinks he's hallucinating, I'd think everyone around him reacting to the same thing might elicit some reaction. I won't make you post, obviously. Just something to consider. No one knows your character better than you, Terms.

And, yes, I will give everyone a cutesy nickname. I work with small children and large animals. It's second nature.

Or maybe one of us should shout at Iikka to come help. Obviously, Iikka will think he is still hallucinating, but we can explain it to him that our characters also see it. Just an idea.

Edit: Also, technically the cutesy version of Dedonus would probably something like Dedonulus or something like that.

I was making a Latin joke. In Latin, you add letters to make a diminutive, not shorten the word.
