@Feisty-Pants Oh, but that is his power...
Then hop to it, ya bum.
Ah, a Light User already posted. Wunderbar. How to respond to that...
Expect something tonight, @baraquiel.
@Feisty-Pants Oh, but that is his power...
@Regitnui this is about raw strength, not so much the fine tuned use of the element.
@Feisty-Pants Its customary to replace double/triple posts with funny gif images. I should mention that the IC is roughly 3 months into the school year. Students should know very well who Jeanne is.
Edit: Jeanne is like a hard 10 on the serious scale right now. Dial it back to a 5 or somethin..
On another note, im pretty sure I mentioned it before but I dont think we can create flying discs we can actually like.. fly on. Or float on.

Personality: Passionate. Enthusiastic. Devoted. As stubborn as a damn mule. These are just a few select terms that would describe Marshall Narquis. He is the sort of person to throw himself headlong into whatever he sets his mind to, and it’s not uncommon at all for him to get in over his head in doing so. That said, he usually manages to find a way out of such situations, often simply thanks to his seeming inability to let things rest once they’re started. Outside of such things, he is on the whole a cheerful man who always looks for the bright side of things, and grins even if he doesn’t find one. Though some might mistake this for naivety, he’s really quite intelligent and sensible- his boundless optimism is just a tactic that was once taught to him as a coping mechanism that has since become his default state of mind. Above all, he’s dependable. If Marshall says he’ll do something, support someone, or take care of a problem, very little will be able to stop him from following through.
History: Marshall’s childhood was not really what could be called pleasant. His mother raised him alone, in poor conditions, and constantly moving from place to place it seemed; a by-product of the scorn for their abilities that showed itself whenever somebody discovered them. Despite this, his mother always smiled, and as Marshall grew up she taught him to do the same. “No matter what, never forget to smile,” she would say to him, “Because if you keep smiling, you’ll be able to find every reason to be happy. But if you don’t, you’ll only see reasons to be sad.”
As he grew older, he discovered why his mother had worked herself to the bone for so long; she’d been steadily pooling funds to allow him to attend the Academy, a chance she herself never received. And by some stroke of fortune, she happened to have saved enough to do just that by the time he came of the right age. While studying there, aside from exploring and learning to control his power, he found his greatest joys in the Theatre & Drama classes with Instructor Claudia Colson. The days spent learning under her were some of his fondest memories, and where he made several of his friends. And, in later years, it was Claudia who gave him 1-on-1 lessons for commanding his element, in particular teaching him the art of finely shaping it into a variety of objects- something he came to specialize in.
Years later, well after he had graduated and gone on to tackle the world, it came to Marshall’s attention that Claudia was electing to retire from teaching. Moreover, it seemed the Academy was having trouble finding someone to take her place and teach the art of stagecraft. That, he decided, just would not do, and he set about applying to take the job himself. It’s now his 2nd year of teaching as such, and he’s actually starting to get the hang of it...
Equipment: A small steel bar, roughly the size and shape of a sword grip that he uses as an aid for moulding his element(s) into handheld objects.
Class Taught: Theatre & Drama
