Name: Dixon and Dixoz

Appearance:


Age: 13

Personality: The two twins are always very carefree and happy. Although they slightly differ at times. Dixon is normally the most care free out of the two. He is the good twin, that doesn't like to hurt anyone. Dixoz is the more evil twin, who is willing to attack to protect his twin and does bad things from time to time, but, he always sees it as a bit of fun. The two twins love to play fight constantly, they find it fun. Dixon of course holds back, not attacking much. They, at times can kill or injure others or themselves greatly but they simply don't care and find it fun. They hate being bored and get angry when they are bored.

Abilities:

Element: Fire

Dixon's Powers:

• Healing Flame: Dixon can use his fire abilities to heal injuries, anything from minor cuts to gashes he is able to heal and repair. He is not able to restore limbs or revive the dead.
• Phoenix Dome: Dixon is able to create a dome of fire around himself and around around him to protect himself and those arround him from attacks.
• Heart of Fire: Dixon is able to rekindle a flame in his and anyone else's heart, although not in a literal sense. This 'fire' bruns any doubts, sins or fears you may have away. It clenses you and purifys you, making you able to concentrate and fight stronger, faster and better than before.
• What's unique about Dixon is that he has no combat ability. His unique skill is called Phoenix's Protection. It gives himself and others around him blazing armour that heals injuries and protects the wearer. The armour also enchances the natural senses, such as hearing, sense of smell, sense of sight.

Dixoz's Powers:

• Fireshift: Dixoz can change his hands and arms into anything he wants using his fire powers, for example, swords, axes, guns (If they are allowed in this Rp?) etc.
• Breath of Fire: He is able to shoot out powerful fire out of his hands or even his mouth. If he concentrates hard enough, he can send out powerful, concentrated beams of fire out of his eyes.
• Wings of Inferno: Dixoz can grow wings of fire from his back than enhance his speed significantly. This also allows him to fly, increasing his movability.
• The unique thing about Dixoz is that he has no way to protect himself. He is all about attacking. His unique ability is called Inferno's Meal. It allows him to literally eat fire, by doing so he becomes stronger, faster and regains his lost energy and fatigue. By eating the fire he produces, it has no beneficial effect.

History:

Dixon and Dixoz have always been their cheery and playful attitude. When were only eleven years old when their mother died from the rift wars. Their father was scared that they would lose all that energy and excitement in them, but no. Strangely enough they were completely unfazed by it. When their father sat them down to try and explain the situation to them, they insisted that their mother would come back one day in a new life, to be reborn and that was why they weren't sad, because they believed that one day they would see her again. By the time they reached the age of thirteen, and they were ready to take the summoner test, the two refused to separate as they always did. So they took the test together at the same time. At first, neither of them could feel any urge to go to any of the tablets. None of them were calling the twins. The two twins walked around looking at all the different tablets, when suddenly one of them glowed brightly. As it did Dixon and Dixoz grabbed the tablet together. At first the examiners thought this meant only one of them were a summoner, until they discovered something truly amazing. Neither of them could read the full tablet, however each of them were able to read half. At the very bottom were the words for the summoning.

"When things get dire just use my healing fire." "and when times get sour, do not cower in my inferno power!

With that a phoenix was summoned, never before had two people shared one summoning. The twins were then sent to a special school to learn how to use their powers properly despite their young age.

Name: Inferno

Appearance:


Summoning Mantra: "When things get dire just use my healing fire." "and when times get sour, do not cower in my inferno power!

Abilities: Inferno is a mix of Dixon and Dixoz. He uses his fire to attack enemies, while at the same time using power to defend himself and allies.

Phoenix Meteor: Inferno will fly high in the sky then wrap himself up in a tight little ball of fire. Doing this, he will crash down to the floor, causing an explosion of fire.

Breath of the Inferno: This is essentially Dixoz's ability, able to shoot fire from his beak and make gusts of fire with his wings

Healing Inferno: Once again, this is essentially Dixon's power, covering Dixon and Dixoz in fire to heal their injuries.

Inferno Sacrifice: This is an ability where Inferno will fly high in the sky and burst into flames, turning him to dust, while the flames fall drop at a stady pase. When the embers hit allies, they are healed completely, and even revived as long as they haven't been dead more than 24 hours. After doing this, Inferno needs a entire day to rest, or essentially, be reborn before he can be summoned again.

Element: Fire

Elemental Gift: Dixon

To Dixon, he gives the power of healing tears. This is called Tears of a Phoenix. This power revives a single person when Dixon cries.

Dixoz

To Dixoz he gives the power of Elemental Infusion. This allows Dixoz to turn his body into fire for a short time. Meaning, when he is cut, you are not cutting him but fire himself. However during this state, Dixoz is extremely weak to water or ice at extreme freezing tempatures.

About: Inferno is extremely protective of the two twins considering they are so young. As Inferno would say, they hold a fire in their hearts. Meaning that they are fun loving and happy no matter the situation and Inferno wants to keep that, he doesn't want them to lose their joufulness and anyone who threatens it, Inferno will make regret. If anything, Inferno is like a father to them, always watching them, protecting them from danger to the point he would sacrifice everything for them, including his life to save them.

Alaric

Name: Alaric

Personality: Quiet / Easily spooked / Twitchy

Element: Dark

Powers:
Necromantic Healing - Alaric has the ability to mend any flesh or bone as long as the owner is considered dead or undead, such as skeletons, vampires or zombies. living targets effected by this are burned, causing a slow infection that burns away the flesh, ending if Alaric ends concentration or contact.

Sense Life - Alaric can sense life within a mile radius, though it is active in the back of his mind it takes some concentration to actually notice things. Quickly moving things are immediately brought to his attention.

Illusions - Alaric, given some time to concentrate he can make simple clones of himself or other objects. This can be used to escape or, if Alaric spents a lot more energy he can give these Illusions a slight physical form, letting them interact with physical objects, though this causes the Illusion to be fragile and easily broken.

History: Alaric was born in the country and had little freinds, after his mother died his father became increasingly more violent and sadistic, forcing Alaric to take walks to avoid his father. When he found one of the stones said to summon great creatures, he was frightened, ignoring it's call and burying it in the backyard. It was when he screamed the words engraved on the stone while his father scrubbed him with chemical heavy water that his summon suddenly came to his aid, slaughtering Alaric's father and forcing them both to seek out the academy.

The Mad King

Name: His true name long forgotten and he refuses to speak his true name, but Alaric calls him SK.

Appearance:

Summoning Mantra: "Let the slaughter commence."

Abilities: Leoric fights in close combat with a combination of his mace and well placed frontal kicks.

Demoralize: When in a pinch he can link his soul to a target, amplifying any negative emotions such as doubt or pain. This link is shown as a cord of light blue fog, often curling tightly around the target's chest.

Undead: Since SK is undead, the loss of limbs or the crack of a bone means little to him. Pain is of no concern and is nonexistant save for attacks from creatures of light.

Element: Dark

Element gift: Necromantic Healing : SK and Alaric both share this ability, though it shows itself differently in SK.

Stage 1: When SK is in battle he can send a thread of his soul outwards, this is the first stage, or his ability known as " Demoralize ".

Stage 2: The more pain or doubt the target is experiencing, the faster Alaric can heal SK, making him a hard target to put down even against stronger opponents, especially if he is already winning.

About: SK constantly refers to himself as a king, and those who challenge him are branded traitors, and traitors will always be punished. He refuses to speak about his kingdom, it seems a sore subject for him, only replying that " Any kingdom such as this, who is so ignorant to know it's past, will be doomed to repeat it, you will soon learn who i am. " This would mean he might have been a king during one of the first attacks, a king who might have gone mad from seeing creatures from another world slaughtering his people.

Other: Leoric has two forms, his corporal and incorporeal forms. When in the first form he is able to engage in physical combat and use all of his abilities. When in the second, most often from being defeated, Leoric has a short time period where he is a specter and can only use " Demoralize " though in this form he can focus it on more than one target. The longer he focuses that ability on targets, the shorter he has to wait before he can return to his body, or create a new one if needed.

Personality: Alph always speaks as if she’d recently been sleeping and she has a straightforward method of speaking but it isn’t one sided because she responds best to people that come to the point or simply tell her what they really think.

Always relaxed she seems to slouch or move slowly when she is sitting still Alph seems to be sleeping but if she’s watched or spoken to or about she answers through half lidded eyes.

She becomes active when eating sweets and has a horrible sweet tooth indulging often and copiously.

She hates bullies and confronts them directly without hesitation or fear.

Friendly she doesn't mind helping, sharing or backing up those she’s deemed decent people.

She speaks with an odd accent that is half southern belle to London girl.

She has a very strange sense of humor and enjoys watching others bust their keisters.

She practices an odd form of Isometric exercises that require that she flex every muscle in her body in opposition to each other which observed makes her appear to be turning blueish red and shaking after which she drops on her but into lotus position


Abilities: Alph is a Pankration Fighter trained to near olympic athlete level

Powers:
Earth Shaping: Using this talent Alph can as she puts it ask the earth to reform itself into geometric shapes affecting an area of 50 square meters, once she made a stone boat that was stable and properly displaced it’s mass. (Flaw; the simple form is fast and easy such as making a softball sized sphere but a life like statue an hour and loads of energy but the finished product Master quality)

Sense Mass: This allows her to sense anyone around her even in pitch black darkness but is not discriminating sense which means that while she knows it’s a person she can’t say who they are.

Tec: This is a form of possession which makes Alph the living power source of an Earth Elemental she calls TEC
Tec is at present limited in size because his host is still growing a developing but he is still quite formidable. Tec stands 7 foot tall and masses around 2.3 tons. He is at present forced to move slowly so that he doesn’t burn up his host energy before his reason of summoning is accomplished so he uses their shared ability to shape the earth to trap his foe so that his slower speed is rendered moot and he can bring his mass and her hand to hand fighting skills

History: Alph is the daughter of Military family and was trained how to use modern weapons and simple weapons but trained in the art of Pankration by her grandfather who was champion of that ancient art form. Alph’s family was part of the front line soldiers of the Rift war and knew they must prepare her for combat and so they were then her Summoner gene revealed itself and they were overjoyed to see her off to become the best of soldiers; no one ever asked Alph.

Toboe

Name: Toboe Otonashi

Appearance:

Toboe is relatively tall, standing at about 5' 10", he has a thin, lanky, build, made up of long, awkward limbs. His hair is about chest length and black, usually tied up in a high pony tail. His bangs are made up of two parts, the forehead length pieces that sweep to the right, and the nearly shoulder length strands that frame his face. His eyes are dark as well. His skin is fair in color and far from unblemished. He's at the school for four years, seen his fair share of battles, and has the scars to prove it. Nearly a dozen scars mar his frame, spanning arms, legs, and torso alike. Two slash marks are on each of his forearms, if he lifts them up you can see that they allign, from throwing his arms up to protect his face. An inch long line on his right side that has a matching mark on it left, from being impaled on a blade. Burn scarring across his shoulder blades from a nasty fight with an Electricity elemental student. Three slash marks, one on the right side of his chest, one across his lower back, the last on his right calf. Finally one more slash mark near his left Temple, hidden by his hair. He likes wearing monochrome colored clothing, mixing together whites, blacks, and grays. He rarely wears anything colorful. No matter what outfit he wears, he always has on a brown leather cord necklace with a simple, silver, ring on it.

Age: 17

Personality: Toboe is quiet and little bit shy. He prefers the company of a good book to a person. But he isn't rude, he'll talk back if you talk first. The only person he seems comfortable enough around to talk to is his summon. He's stubborn to a fault and capable of enduring great amounts of pain and suffering. He's calm and level headed, able to let insults slide right off as if they didn't happen. He's surprisingly tough and sturdy in both mind and body. He has a nearly endless supply of patience, but it can be worn thin, and if it is, watch out. You know what they say about the quiet ones. He has a bit of a sadistic side, but rather than getting pleasure out of other people's pain, he's fascinated by people's reactions to it.

Abilities: Toboe has incedible knowledge of the human body. He knows where all the pressure points, nerves bundles, and weak spots are. He has great accuracy when it comes to throwing things, or launching Ice Needles as it were. He's been in ballet his entire life, thus has all the skills from that. He's graceful, limber, flexible, and has a surprising amount of strength in his awkwardly long limbs. He also has some skill in archery and horseback riding. And combining the two to shoot from atop a horse.

Element: Ice

Powers:

• Void Shield, Ice Elemental.
• Magic Circle, Toboe creates a magic circle which extends around him for a few feet. Anybody who steps into it will find that magic such as their Void Shield takes less energy. Considering the energy drain Toboe gets from maintaining Shiva's full form, it's a spell that he uses a lot.
• Ice Needles, Toboe freezes the molecules of water in the air, turning them into frozen projectiles. Not the most powerful attack, but with some accuracy can do some serious harm, imagining having one driven into a nerve bundle, or perhaps your eye.

History: Toboe was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, the only child of a couple that had been told they would never be able to conceive. Turns out it was true, they tried several times to have a child, but each time Toboe's mother got pregnant, she miscarriaged. But a close family friend was willing to be the surrogate mother. Thus, the boy they refer to as their miracle child was born. Toboe was spoiled, that was for sure, but was never really a brat because of it. Mainly because he never asked for much.

When he was six, he saw some dancers on TV, immediately fell in love. He asked his parents if he could take dance lessons, and they said yes. Over the course of the next few years, Toboe took classes in multiple styles of dance, but the one that he really loved was ballet. So that's what he decided to focus on. Sure he was bullied because of it, but he didn't care, it was what he loved.

When he turned thirteen, two major changes in his life took place. The first was that he started learning pointe, which was usually only for girls, but because he expressed so much interest in learning it, he was allowed to the join the class. The second was that it was discovered he had the Summoner Gene. Suddenly his dreams of becoming a professional dancer were crushed, and it devistated him.

He was shipped off to Aether Academy, as was at least glad to learn that they could leave the school. He still took dance classes, and even pointe, on Saturdays and any other afternoon he had off. But, he was still depressed. He had been forced away from his parents, his dreams of dancing for a living were crushed, and he was completely alone.

Well, there was one person there for him. Shiva. The day he got to the school he found his tablet and said the words on it, half hoping to get something powerful that could wipe the place out and let him go home. When everyone saw what was summoned, he was laughed at. But he didn't care, there was an instant kinship between the two of them.

As his years at the school went by, he focused more on his dancing than anything else, as if rebelling against the people who had forced him into this school in the first place, he brought it out in everything he did. He looked like the dancer he was during combat, and was quite good because of it. It's still very clear that he doesn't want to spend his life fighting, but it's something that he's gotten good at. And he sometimes hates himself for it.

Other: Toboe's goal is to still become a professional dancer, all he has to do is figure out how to get away from all this summon stuff. Though he wouldn't trade Shiva for anything.

Shiva

Name: Shiva

Appearance:

The being known as Queen of Ice to the other summons, isn't Toboe's summon, that's her mother. This one is actually the next generation of Shiva. Right now, this Shiva is young, and has yet to grow into her full strength. She can switch between two sizes at the moment. The first is her normal size, which is about the same as a cat. Her second size is that of a full grown woman, standing at roughly five foot seven, she can only grow to this size by drawing on power from her summoner. So it is only used in battle. That size is what she will eventually be when fully grown.

Summoning Mantra: Queen of Ice, lend me your strength, and I will share mine.

Abilities: Shiva is mostly a magic user in battle. She's quick and agile, hard to hit but can't dish out a lot of physical attacks herself.

Element: Ice

Element gift: Like with many ice summons, Shiva gives Toboe the ability to safely lower his core temperature, and freeze water through touch. She also gives him the ability to withstand the cold, which can prevent frostbite and hypothermia almost completely.

About: Shiva is the Queen of Ice, a legendary summon that is supposedly the leader of the other ice summons. That is her mother, this Shiva is the still young as far as summons go, and quite weak. When the summon was read for Shiva, and the Queen of Ice saw that it was a child, she thought it best to send her own child instead of going herself. That way the two could have a chance to grow together. Because of this, Shiva is a little more talkative that the usual Ice summon. But only to Toboe, if there are other people around, she'll whisper in his ear.

Other: When in her normal size, Shiva likes to sit on Toboe's shoulder to travel around. It's easier than trying to walk everywhere when you're that small.

@ChickenTeriyaki The world summon's come from don't support human life. Some might have a human like appearance and tendencies but they do not share much of our needs. They actually have to return to their world when tired to gain energy, only Dark class summons can survive on our world due to natural regeneration talents. On average a summon can spend maybe two weeks in our world before it needs to return for a few hours to it's own realm and usually does this while it's summoner is sleeping.

Basically unless she was her own summoner and could move to either dimension or at least a pocket dimension like the stones generate for them.

If I'm being rather obtuse on the subject it's because most of the details about the world are the other side of Rift's is unknown to the general public.
