I just left some quicker epic poetry in the IC. Hopefully y'all enjoy it.

@Bluetommy took the time to write something considerably more detailed on Irenaeus's involvement in the Great Steppe. Very enjoyable read.

Which Irenaean culture would be the most Oriental/Chinese/Japanese in aesthetics and feel?

Peoples are not really that much developed at this point so the chroniclers have some leeway on how to portray them, but I'd say there isn't really one that is too well suited for that. The Bronzespears and Horselords might be closest to east asians ethnically as they are rather strongly inspired by the Mongols, that's how I see the matter at least.

None, really. The world is mostly based on Europe, Persia, and a bit of India. The farthest east is something like the Sultan of Paradise, but there's no China or Japan.

That said, you're welcome to add some interpretative flare to whatever culture you'd like, there just isn't a direct equivalent.

EDIT: @Hygswitch is also correct on the matter.

Little Fun Fact on the Matter: Buddhist Monks wear Saffron Robes that look familiar don't they? Actually the garment was introduced by Alexander the Great on the Indian Subcontinent it actually is therefore derived from the Greek Himation, better known by it's Roman equivalent/name Toga. Instead of the Senators and Konsuls Purpur the rare and valueable dye in India is Saffron of course therefore they became orange.

Quite interesting. Your title is most appropriate.

In case anyone is confused about my post, it's about the 0-2 defeat the Tollscythes suffered at the hands of the Bronzespears and in which a trade agreement with the Horselords was somehow involved.

Please forgive me for low quality writing, this is kinda new to me ;-;

Au contrare, some excellent poetry. Very glad you came by. A small few technical formatting issues though;

watched and lo!, a great Host of Horselords (P1)
Grammar and style guide dictate no exclamation here, although I see the poetic merits.

O, how chilling was their cry for blood (P5)
Correct that to 'Oh' if you would, for the sake of common translation (I again see why it is tempting to put this in but again common style).

Quote Attribution
Instead of having a title in the quote, please just append it to the italicized title at the beginning and add Trollscythe's name to the beginning in bold. Also, remove the space between title and quote.

Miscellaneous
You mentioned the line of Skullgate which doesn't exist (you likely meant Tollscythe), I saw you misspelled travelers somewhere, you capitalized host in the first paragraph. I think that was all.

Since this is your first time with the style guide, I went ahead and made these into one copypasta since they were minor.

If you could either make changes yourself or copy that in when you have a chance, that'd be great.

Also, I highly encourage you to come on the discord for more fluid conversation, announcements, and socialization.

In total though, welcome! A stunning entrance if I might remark.

@Publius Is the authorship of any issue? My chronicler is supposed to be a monk of a sacred order who spent a few years with the Tollscythes learning about their culture and history to share with the world.

The authorship itself is no issue; rather the including the work in the attribution given that it is supposed to be at the top.

Neato Lot's and lots of wars for the Horselords, and the Death of of Leathermane comes at a good time for my Chronicler to have become a proper senior Witch and see her dreams of revenge fulfilled...
