Stranded on an island type deal

So this is the absolute vaguest Interest Check I have ever done and it squirms in my gut to actually do it, but I just will not be bothered to use my quite sparse free-time fleshing out a whole great deal if there is not even any interest in the general concept.

Yeah.

So I figured it'd be something along the lines of a plane crashing or a ship sinking an our characters being the sole survivors that managed to get to an island assumed to be uninhabited. As time passes and they explore they find "mythical" creatures and/or some shit.

The main focus in the first "part" will be survival and then, once they've set up a camp and stuff, the weird shit starts happening.

I'm terribly sorry for this. I WILL make a proper Interest Check (and so on) if this gets some attention, but I really just don't want to waste the little time I do have one something that won't happen.

There will be "treasure", yes. just not in the "pirate buried his gold and gems here" type of way, but more like ancient artifacts and shit like that, that won't really be buried, but just, you know, hidden by time.
As briefly mentioned, there will be some mythical/magical/fantasy elements to this, including, but not limited to merpeople, magical relics, ancient deities and chimera.

Hmm, this one caught my eye. Humans ... cross genre (mundane going into fantasy setting). If we get to the point of making characters, it will help me to know the specifics of the trip (ship, starting point, intended destination - unless it was a cruise, etc). I might do an older character ... middle aged.

I'm giving my wholehearted interest... islands with more than meets the eye... potential myth and magic... it's perfect. I kind of want to be the stereotypical 'person who knows all about what they're running into' character... mostly because I love ancient civilisations IRL, too. Greek, Roman, Chinese, Egyptian, Aztec, all that stuff.

Actually, my initial and only thought about that so far was for the ship to go through the so-called "Bermuda Triangle". There's always been this idea that the place is cursed/haunted/whatever and I wanted to play with that idea.
