Reason for joining Robin?: Terry is honoring the memory of his brother by keeping his team together and training them when not in school or on a mission with the JLU.

BRIEF Bio: In the beginning, Terry lost his father. Shortly after he became Batman with the guidance of the original, Bruce Wayne. Terry lived with his mother and younger brother until he was out of high school and got an apartment of his own. The last fourteen months he'd been living the dream, going to college, and being a member of the Justice League. Everything came crashing down when an enemy of Wayne's brought up the connection to the Batman Beyond Project. Terry got the DNA test, but Bruce didn't have the answers Terry was looking for and Amanda Waller was in as bad condition as Bruce Wayne. The two had a falling out and Terry operated as Batman without Bruce for three months. That was until Bruce found proof he had no hand in the Project and was unaware Waller and a splinter cell of Cadmus swiped his DNA.

Four months ago Wayne's health took a turn for the worse. While he was still of sound mind and body he signed his remaining fortune and stock in Wayne/Powers over to Terry.

Six weeks ago Matt McGinnis found out his brother was Batman and that their father was somehow Bruce Wayne. He did this by hacking an old email account of Terry's that he used to frequently send messages to Maxine. Realizing he could be a hero loved by millions Matt made a Robin suit and the rest is history.

Terry is still grieving the loss of his fifteen year old brother and his mother is taking it exceptionally hard. To get his head right he's taking time away from the League to train the Titans as well as help his mother in times of stress. It's one thing to lose an ex, it's another thing entirely to lose a child.

Notes:

* Obviously I've used bits of continuity from here and there. Still no clue who gave the info to Terry, that will be a sub-plot for much later.

* The JLU in this is greatly influenced by the cartoon interpretation as well as the JL Beyond 2.0 comic some time after. Members include Superman (Clark Kent), Barda, Warhawk, Aquagirl, Micron, Green Lantern (Kai-Ro), Capt. Marvel (Billy Batson), and Starfire. They're based in Metro-Tower in Metropolis.

* Most people are familiar with the show so the most of the continuity will be used from that. Stalker will come into play down the road. As well as another original enemy inspired by one of Batman's rogues.

* You know what I don't remember ever seeing in the Beyond Universe? ANY mention at all of ARKHAM. I think that should change soon.

Name: Jeremy 'J' Winston

Alias: Animal aka one of 'the Wonder Twins'

Powers: Animal shapeshifting respectively. J is a little stronger but nothing superhuman.

Weaknesses: Just as human as anybody wearing light body armor. Also has to be within a mile of his brother for his powers to work, in time this will fade.

Reason for joining Robin?: The twins had no place else to go. After their single father discovered they were hiding metahuman powers he 'seemingly' abandoned them in their apartment and within weeks the kids were evicted and on the streets. Still managing to get online Robin found them and offered them a place on his team.

Appearance: Will have micros as soon as photobucket stops being a dick or a find a new site to save pics on.

BRIEF Bio: The twins were first discovered at an orphanage as babies and soon after a man and his wife adopted them while they were still very young. Ten years into the Gotham family's lives had the twins losing the woman they'd called mother in a car wreck during a time when the Jokerz gang was really making a name for itself. Over the course of the next several years, their grieving father made it known he didn't care for the criminals in Gotham or the 'heroes' who hide behind masks trying to battle them. However several months ago, the twins' father Greg Winston, went out to pick up dinner and never returned home. It more than likely had something to do with him witnessing the kids using their new metahuman abilities days earlier. After only a few weeks the kids were evicted from the apartment. They were close enough to eighteen that nobody really cared if they were homeless or not.

That's when Matt McGinnis and his mother saw the twins defending themselves against a handful of Jokerz. Matt knew that those kids had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Days later the younger brother of Batman found the teens picking up an internet signal outside of a Pizza Play restaurant on electronic devices they hadn't yet pawned. A couple bags full of clothes and a few belongings were all they had to their names. Matt explained how he was the new Robin and was forming his own team of Titans, and the twins quickly agreed to join. Living in an abandoned 19th century arcade, they agreed to let it also serve as the base of operations for this new team who's first mission was to knock Batman himself down a peg.

Two weeks later when Matt McGinnis was killed the boys were back to square one. That was until Batman returned and said he was putting the team back together. He told the twins Matt was his brother, and how he had to do it to honor him. Both understood and helped Terry construct a bunker HQ under the old arcade. The twins moved downstairs into the HQ where one or two other teammates could also have a room there. Over the last four weeks, the eight times Batman had showed up for training were the highlights of the month. Each member of the team got new suits and in memory of Matt a statue was put up towards the entrance of Robin.

Notes:

* After the first arc the boys will get tired of being called Wonder Twins and stop dressing alike. Their powers will also begin to evolve [like Beast Boy to Animal Man and Poison Ivy to Swamp Thing].

* J and Z no longer attend school. They were both however juniors in high school when they dropped out, with Z excelling in academics and J being into more physical sports at Hamilton High. Matt McGinnis was a sophomore before being killed and Terry/Batman is currently in college.

* Only the members of the team who saw Matt more frequently at school [possibly any who were in his grade or in several classes with him] knew his identity but they were still unaware he had an older brother who was Batman. The twins now know his identity as well as Batman's since Terry opened up to them about Robin being his younger brother. His secret is safe with the twins.

* One of the twins will have a day job.

* Bruce Wayne is funding the team but also on the verge of dying. With Paxton Powers in jail the ownership of Wayne/Powers falls on the stockholders and Terry McGinnis' shoulders, as Bruce Wayne gave Terry his remaining shares of the company.

Name: Jonathan Oliver Queen
Alias: Red Arrow
Experience: 37 days and counting
Hometown: Blüdhaven (formerly Star City)

Powers: Jonathan acquired the meta gene from his father, who received it from Jon’s grandmother, though he did not acquire the famous Canary Cry. Rather, he developed the following powers:

• Enhanced Vision – Jonathan can see with amazing clarity/detail, distance, and color. Up to this point he has displayed instances of telescopic and microscopic vision and almost perfect vision in even the darkest or brightest environments. His eyes seem to adjust as needed, though it is not instantaneous.
• Enhanced Hearing – Jon’s ears are enhanced to hear with amazing clarity, distance, and possibly even on frequencies outside of the normal range. In theory, his ears can pick up every single sound, can decipher layer upon layer of differing sounds/conversations, locate the source of noise or pick up a sound from a mile away in a busy city. Of course, due to his rookie hero status and his lack of control he cannot hope to come close to such amazing feats.
• Enhanced Smell – He can detect specific persons, objects, substances or even places, locate their origin and track targets with nothing but his nose. However, due to his inexperience he cannot hope to do this with complete accuracy. Still, with time and training he may even be able to detect lying, sicknesses, or tumors by which hormones/smells a target excretes.

Weaknesses: Being a human Jonathan is susceptible to just about all the same manners of injury and death as any other ordinary person. However, there are a few special weaknesses that if used against him could prove crippling to him in battle. Such weaknesses include:

• Inexperience – First and foremost, Jonathan is new to the hero game. Through training with his father before his passing, and his private sessions to try and at least keep up with what he had already learned, the young man is proficient with the use of his trusty bow and arrows. He is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat and has some control over his powers, but he stil has quite a ways to go. He is somewhat naïve, runs his mouth and in competition with even normal athletes who have more training than him, let alone villains and the like, he has quite a ways to go.
• Emotional – Playing into his inexperience, Jonathan (though usually trying to keep things light and under some modicum of control) has a tendency to make decisions based on what he feels is right or necessary which doesn’t always turn out for the best.
• Sensory Overload – Because of his heightened senses Jon is constantly at risk of being brought down by any number of factors. Extreme odors, loud noises, sudden bursts of light are all possible in and out of the field. Though he is typically aware and concentrates on keeping his abilities in check he is not without flaw.
• Claustrophobia – Jonathan suffers from a severe case of claustrophobia that in some cases can be crippling cause him to either break or shut down and be essentially useless.

Reason for joining Robin?: Jonathan hadn’t begun his venture into the hero world all that long after Matt McGinnis began his. He wanted to help protect people and carry on the legacy of the Arrow Family in the name of his father and his grandfather before him. He figured if he could do that and make a few friends along the way he was all for it. What did he have to lose?
Appearance: Jonathan stands at about 5’8” tall with a fair skin complexion and is in pretty great shape for a young man his age. Weighing in at about 163lbs, he is fairly muscular, though more lean then bulky. He’s got short blonde hair that is typically left rather unkempt. His eyes, uniquely, are a shade of orange inherited from his mother, though you wouldn’t be able to tell if he were in costume. He designed his suit with help from his guardian, John Diggle Sr., and files that used to belong to his mother and father. It is made to protect him, but also not hinder his movements or abilities.

2) I’m using this picture so you have an idea of the full body, although this is not his suit. I would credit this artist, but I don’t know who they are.

3) This one will give you an idea of the actual suit with a bit more armor and better protection for his eyes and ears as they are typically more likely to be attacked than his sense of smile.

4) Like I said, I like the artist. It was a good faceclaim and this gives a good view of him with the hood on, which is his typical look while in the field, though obviously wind, a fight, etc. can knock it off.

Personality: Jonathan is extremely intelligent, but you probably wouldn't guess it at a first glance. He has a tendency to act in a more outgoing manner and he's never one to shy away from social interaction without reason. However, all the same he keeps a certain air of mystery about him. He refuses to disclose personal information often giving different answers to the same question or simply avoiding it altogether. He jokes giving the explanation, "It more mysterious that way. And way more fun." Still, the real reason is likely to avoid putting his guardian, and father figure, John Diggle or anybody else close to him in danger. Regardless, despite his sometimes goofy nature, Jonathan can often be seen as curious and inquisitive. He wants to help, to fix things and make them better for himself and those around him. He can sometimes get caught up in tinkering, inventing or other aspects of the scientific and interesting and no matter how he acts or what you think of him he always gets serious about his training and his goals.
BRIEF Bio: Jonathan is the son of Robert Queen and Nyssa Sahmin (no relation to Nyssa Raatko) as well as the grandson of Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance-Queen. He did not inherit the meta-human canary cry, but he did develop a small series of enhanced senses. He got a little bit of training from his mother and father to help him protect himself and keep those senses under wraps when they began to awaken. He was kidnapped around the age of seven and locked in a trunk. He was scared and powerless as his parents fought to free him. They won, but were fatally wounded. He was left in the care of long time family friend John Diggle and wouldn’t continue the life he’d began for many years later. He got some stuff, John helped and even tapped into the inheritance, he met Matt. And here we are.

Slightly Longer Version

Oliver Queen took in a number of children and developed his own crime fighting force very much like his old friend Bruce Wayne. They fought crime, helped each other through good and bad times, faced tragedies, and grew with time. And, just as Bruce’s did, Oliver’s family would eventually branch out. Members moved on to different things or simply retired. Unlike Bruce though, Oliver knew when it was time to lay his mask to rest and leave things to the next generation.

Before this though, he’d had another child. Robert Queen was raised by Oliver and his wife Dinah Lance, the Black Canary. He’d inherited the legendary Canary Cry as a meta-human, and was trained extensively by his father. In time he would be the one to take over the mantle of Green Arrow, his adoptive elder brother Roy Harper opting to keep the alias Arsenal, and he would have a child of his own with a former member of the League of Shadows, who he’d met on a mission during the period of time in which there was no Batman.

The two fell in love and she left behind the life of a villain after Robert helped her negotiate with her master. There were those who were indeed skeptical of the union but that didn't stop Robert. He married the former assassin and the two had a child. Robert knew that this double life would be next to impossible; as it had been with him and his own father. So he decided that once Jonathan, named after a close friend of his father’s (John Diggle, though Robert hated the name John on its own), was old enough he would allow the boy to make a chance.

Jonathan chose the life his father, grandfather and so many before him had led. He officially began training when he turned six. It proved quit necessary because of the awakening of his metahuman powers. Jonathan had been walking down the street with his mother, Nyssa, when he heard a police siren. Though he'd heard it so many times before, on this day the screech of the machine was unbearable. The smells of the street, garbage cans, dumpsters, water and alcohol in the streets seemed to have been amplified 100 fold. Suddenly he was seeing faces and things blocks away.

Jonathan was terrified. All of a sudden three out of his five senses had gone haywire. Nyssa brought him home immediately. She and Robert took him to their secret hideout and began to run tests and check to see what was wrong. After they came to the realization that their son was indeed a metahuman, the two decided he would need to learn control. And if he learned that, perhaps it would be best to teach him a little discipline and defense.

The boy was a fast learned, surprising his parents with how quickly he adapted to the regimen they had devised for him with his age and build in mind. He was picking up the basics quite naturally, even when it came to the use of a bow. He was truly his father's son.

But these happy days wouldn't last. A small group of members of the League of Shadows had taken it upon themselves to deliver punishment on who they believed to be a traitor to their cause. To carry out their revenge on Nyssa and the man who'd taken her, they kidnapped Jonathan. After all, what easier way was there to get to the two? A challenge was issued. The two would fight for there now seven year old son's life.

Jonathan was locked in a trunk. Devoid of air holes he struggled inside. He wanted nothing more than to get out. To escape the sounds of violence that surrounded him. It was dark, cramped, and cold. He was still young, only just beginning to learn to fight and train. He couldn't have been ready for this. He’d only learned the basics of the basics. Try as he might, he couldn’t free himself. He was scared. Terrified for his parents life and his own. It’s very likely that this situation is what led to his claustrophobia.

The battle ended and for a moment it was silent. His small frame shook uncontrollably. He still didn't have complete control over his abilities but as his heart raced faster he heard footsteps approach. He heard heavy breathing. Then, the trunk shook. He whimpered as it was forced open. In the dim light of the darkened room stood his parents; covered in blood, but victorious. They smiled as they hoisted him up out of the box.

That’s probably what he remembers most. Although that is partially because he's tried hard to block out the more unpleasant aspects of the memory, though largely to no avail. He also remembers them taking him home. He remembers them struggling. Much more than usual. It wasn't until later that he would realize how gravely injured they truly were. He was young and naïve, but he was sure they would be okay at the time. And so when they put him to bed he peacefully slept.

The next morning he awoke not to his mother or father, but to his “uncle” John. John Diggle Sr. had arrived after receiving a call from Robert. Oliver had past some time ago, old age taking him and the Canary. The other members of the family all had their own lives. John's son, Junior, wouldn’t be up to raising a child. He just wasn’t there yet. So, it was him. Robert’s will left everything to Jonathan, though he could only have access to his full inheritance after his 18th birthday and at john’s discretion. John was allowed to move money around and dip into certain things at his discretion should he need it. Robert had taken many things into consideration after all.

The next 9 years were tough. He was mourning the loss of his parents while simultaneously trying to adapt his new home in Blüdhaven. John had thought it best to get him away from Star City and the family owned corporation.

For about 2 of those 9 years he seemed hollow. He went threw the motions of day to day living; acting normal. He acted like he was fine, but he wasn't. John helped him every step of the way until he decided he wasn't going to waste the life his parents had fought for. He began physical training. He was already smart, but that wasn't enough. Inventing, tinkering, science and all that would only get him so far. He needed to reach levels similar to his mother and father. Or at least one of the young heroes of the past. John tapped into the inheritance to help the child begin to build his "lair". A subbasement beneath their home, apparently nothing new in Blüdhaven.

Starting at the age of 13, Jonathan was back to training fully. Under John's watchful eye he began a spartan regime utilizing training bots and simulations to help him. John knew he couldn't stop the boy, but he could at least make sure he was ready for what was out there.

When Jonathan was 16, the two finally felt ready. With his new suit and a little added software he was ready. At least as ready as he could be without proper experience. So, he went out into the night. And not long after he'd decided to begin his heroic journey, Jonathan met Matt. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Notes:

• Jonathan has a habit of taunting and joking around while in the field. Not really smart when you're as inexperienced as he is.
• He could be described as a class clown, although some wonder if this is his an act because of how smart he can be when he gets down to business.
• John doesn't flirt, but sometimes the way he talks or acts can be misconstrued as such because he does compliment and speak casually around women. However, under any semblance of actual romance he is about as awkward as could be. He could get girls. Doesn't mean he does. A ladies man he is not.
• He actually really likes science and engineering, often tinkering with new possible arrow heads to add to his trick arrow arsenal.
• He will give all genres of music a try, even country, but his favorite songs typically range along the lines of rock or hiphop. most of all though you are likely to find him listening to dubstep remixes of popular songs. Any remixes really.
• He has a dog named Sparkplug.
• His favorite food is fried chicken.
• His Red Arrow alter ego has a social media page that he typically posts random or stupid thoughts from. Currently at about half a million subscribers.

Carmelita Garcia

Powers: Accel has an incomplete connection to the Speed Force. This gives her a number of tertiary and related abilities. Essentially she can accelerate the molecular motion of another person or object. This allows her to give temporary velocity to other people, or accelerate an object until it explodes. Her brain also perceives her environment at the rate of a speedster.
Weaknesses: First off, Carmelita can accelerate other people and inanimate objects, but her own body lacks a direct connection to the Speed Force. As such, she cannot accelerate herself and thus is limited to the speed of a normal, moderately fit woman. Further, anybody that she accelerates doesn't maintain their speed for more than a second or two. She's also prone to becoming extremely bored and disinterested, as her heightened perception of time is always active.
Reason for joining Robin?: Carmelita wants to make a difference, to be part of something bigger than herself. Since her powers work best in a team environment, and Robin is recruiting...
Appearance:

Standing at five foot ten and weighing a decent 140 lbs., Carmelita possesses a lean but muscular build. Her skin is a smooth caramel thanks to her Mexican heritage, and the envy of many a woman. Her eyes are a brown-hazel that are best at expressing determination, and utter boredom. Her hair is a thick light brunette that hangs just to her shoulder blades. Normally she's happy to wear tight t-shirts and messy torn jeans for that "girl next door" sort of look, while her hero costume as Accel ramps up the "messy" while adding a touch of classy style. Composed of a red motorcycle suit with black underneath, it's been outfitted with extra plates of armor over her vitals. Orange highlights the belt and padded gloves, as well as her chest insignia - twin lightning bolts in the shape of a pair of wings. An orange domino mask completes the look.
BRIEF Bio: Carmelita was born and raised in a middle class household in Dallas. Her father was the a mid-management engineer at the local branch of Kord Industries, while her mother stayed at home with Carmelita, her brother, and sister. As she grew up, she preferred more tomboyish activities, taking after her father, while maintaining a feminine appearance. Once she was old enough, Carmelita was allowed to help her dad out in the garage, tinkering and working on various machines, like motorcycles and electronics.

One day Carmelita was working on a motorcycle in the shop and realized she was out of oil, so she headed out to get more. Unbeknownst to her, or anybody at the time, there was an epic battle raging all over the world between two speedsters displaced by time. A future version of the Flash, Bart Allen, was locked in mortal combat with the deadly Eobard Thawne. It was unfortunate that the Mexican American girl happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time as she suddenly found herself moved around the world at speeds she couldn't comprehend. The Reverse Flash had decided to take her hostage to use as leverage in his battle against the Allen-Thawne crossbreed abomination, but Bart had snatched her up and the conflict continued at such intense speeds that they had to enter the Speed Force itself.

To the speedsters, the battle might as well have taken days. To Carmelita, she barely had the time to blink before she was deposited back where she had originally been picked up, completely disoriented. Shaking off the experience and the weird visions, she went back to her day, but quickly realized she was... different. Other humans had been exposed to the Speed Force without protection before, but this time was different. Some of the limitless energy had touched her, changed her irreparably. However she had not been chosen by the Speed Force. She wasn't a proper speedster, even if she had a couple of their traits. Now trapped in an ironic hell, Carmelita, a speedster at heart, is stuck in a world moving in eternal slow motion. She put together a costume and jumped at the call of heroics, answering a call by a teen in Gotham going by Robin. Carmelita hopes to prove herself as a true hero in hopes that the Speed Force will properly choose her, both to validate her as a force of justice, and to release her from hell.
Notes: Keeps a number of small objects in her utility belt for quick bomb charge.
Hopes to be taught shuriken justu by the Batman in order to become more effective.
Prefers to speak in as few words as possible to keep things moving and appreciates the same from her peers.
"Villain monologues" are not tolerated. They're long winded enough when they aren't speaking at the speed of a snail.

G-Man - "Like wine, he gets better with age."

Even though Calvin is not the youngest member of the team, Carmelita has taken to treating him as the "kid" of the group, at least in as much as she can treat anyone different given the social restraints she has. He's been the most open, discounting the twins, and so she likens his previous exploits as more to that of a kid taking advantage of his natural talents than a malicious cheater. In her mind, he's like that guy who found out he can gross out the others by squirting milk through his nose, so he uses that in a game to distract and win. He hasn't outgrown that to be a "real" hero yet, but she fully believes that he will, given enough time.

Phantom Girl - "I get the feeling she doesn't trust me. The feeling is mutual."

Phantom Girl, or "Katty," is without question the member of the team that Carmelita dislikes the most. Her powers and effectiveness in the field are unquestionable, but her background and morals are not. The Latina girl has put a good amount of time into researching her fellow teammates, but Katty appears to be a total enigma, a girl with no past. The team has been together for several weeks now, but for Carmelita it has been somewhere in the ballpark of ten years, and in all that time she has had a nagging feeling that something about their resident ghost just isn't right. She hopes that Katty hasn't noticed her suspicions, that any unconscious act of mistrust has been chalked up to her usual gruff and to the point demeanor, but she can't count on that forever. If Carmelita ever discovered the girl's association with the Jokerz, accusations would fly.

Conflicted is perhaps the best word used to describe how Carmelita feels about the Red Arrow. On one hand, he's clearly a legacy hero that comes from a long line of known and effective vigilante. On the other hand, his inexperience and naivety are a liability in the field. He likes to hear himself talk too, which is a problem for her. Before the "incident" that gave her her powers, she'd have loved to carry on a conversation with the metahuman archer, as she was always so sociable, but now if you can't get to the point in five words or less, she usually can't hold attention that long and forgets the first half of the sentence before you finish the whole thing. Naturally, that leads to some major irritation. Usually enough time has passed that she forgives and forgets by the end of it though, so he isn't aware of just how much he pisses her off. Plus, as a mechanic,
she greatly respects his engineering skills, which is something they can bond over.

Full Disclosure:

To the team Gloria goes by the name Catherine "Katty" Walker. Matt knew her true identity but respected her decision to keep it from the rest of the team. With him dead no one is aware of her real name.

To go with her false name Gloria has an identicard of such quality that it would be impossible to distinguish it from those distributed by the government. Attached to the card is a paper trail that seemingly dates back nineteen years. This includes a social security number consistent with the year and month of birth listed, previous addresses, elementary and high school transcripts, driving lessons and a license as well as all the other hallmarks of a normal life.

The identicard is one of the highest grade available on the market and Gloria paid a serious price to obtain hers. Though the card is flawless the cyber history that goes with it cannot stand up to the same level of scrutiny. It was designed to be passable to all but the most serious checks. Each piece of information can be verified at all levels in cyberspace however as it is a fiction it cannot be verified in reality. The name on the identicard appears in the roster of the schools that it claims "Catherine Walker" attended but while their system indicates a full academic career no photos of her appear in their records including graduation and yearbook. Likewise the smallest details of the history are suspect if the investigator knows what to look for. Things like DUIs, speeding tickets, or even just running a red light are missing. As are club entrees, checkpoint scans, and other such every day tasks required of the card beyond two months previous. Similarly no photos exist in the record beyond two months ago except for those so generic they are not necessarily the actual person, such as baby photos in the hospital records.

On top of that the card is effectively meant to pass the scrutiny of officials who have no personal connection or inside knowledge about the card's holder. Those who are in regular contact with the owner of the card could spot discrepancies between the history it claims for them and their normal manner. Though none of that is definitive proof of anything it is grounds for serious suspicion.

Physical Appearance:

Extreme over extension of Gloria's abilities several years ago has resulted in a mild but consequential skin burn over most of her right arm and shoulder and her left hand a forearm. Though not debilitating it left the skin completely smooth, obliterated both her fingerprints and the harm follicles of the affected areas.

She has a tattoo on her shoulder from her time with the Jokerz that marks her as a member of the ruthless all female Joker gang, The Harlequins. It's four diamonds, three black with one red on the right and below the formation the word "Ace" and a heart symbol.

Aesthetic:

Titan's Uniform:

Her original costume was fairly simple. It consisted of a long black cloak with a large hood that shadowed her face, black steel toed boots designed for running, black leggings and a tank top. The only point of real flare was a studded belt emblazoned with a skull.

The Titan's Uniform is flashier and more practical but only specific elements were provided by Batman.

She kept the shoes from her previous set, the steel toe gives her an extra kick in combat, they have good grip and they're excellent for running and jumping.

She wears a pair of motorcycle pants, stark black and form fitting but not restrictive any more than other clothing. They provide a modest amount of padding to blows and falls as they're designed to protect the wearer to a certain degree in motorcycle accidents.

Her belt is outfitted with smoke pellets for use in scare tactics and escapes. It retains the silver skull from her previous costume.

The shirt she wears is black with sleeves that extend to the elbows, a neckline descending about an inch below the collar bone and two white strips on either side terminating at the shoulder.

She wears a black choker around her neck with a simple silver locket that hangs in the hollow of her throat.

The last two pieces of her costume were designed and provided by Batman. These include a modified version of her original cloak, this edition is made out of a material meant for harsh environments. It is heat and cold resistant, water proof, non conductive, provides radiation shielding to a degree and is somewhat effective at impact negation. The back of the cloak is emblazoned with white wings as seen below.

The other piece of equipment Batman provided is a set of black reflective motorcycle goggles. These are designed with a number of visual settings including night vision, infrared, as well as a camera which records onto a chip set into the side. The tint of the glass can also be altered, mostly for style.

Powers and Abilities

Powers:

Gloria has the ability to shift the quantum frequency at which her molecules vibrate in order to pass through solid matter.
All matter on our plane of existence vibrates at a specific quantum frequency. It's like a signal that all matter operates on.
By altering her own quantum frequency ever so slightly Gloria can pass through matter.

Weaknesses:

The biggest exception to this is electricity. Strong electrical currents are capable of jumping quantum frequencies. This means that attempting to phase through something that carries an electric charge effectively expose Gloria to that electricity. Depending on the voltage the effects of this exposure will vary. Anything with a high charge will effectively stop Gloria from being able to phase through the material. Any exposure to electricity in this state will result in intense pain but if the charge is low enough she may be able to push through. This kind of stress of her powers will leave behind something akin to a severe friction burn on any exposed skin that went through the process, effects on clothing may vary by circumstance.

Organic matter carries a discernible electric charge which while not deadly in any sense will result in acute pain if she passes through a living thing such as a person or animal. Passing through vegetation is not a problem as the charge it carries is almost unnoticeable compared to other living things.

Application:

When passing through electronics she is able to fry circuitry, such as security systems or computers by alter her quantum frequency in quick succession while inside the device.

Though density does not effect Gloria's ability to move through a substance it does require greater concentration as if Gloria were to dephase while inside something a denser material would break her apart at the subatomic level while inside a less dense materials her own molecular structure would do the same to the substance.

Brief Bio:

Gloria was the adoptive daughter of Rose and Peter Latham of Latham and Co Law Offices. There busy jobs defending the elite of Gotham left them little time to spend with their daughters. Whatever time they did have was usually spent with Gloria's little sister Cassandra who was the Latham's only biological child. This lead to a resentful and conflict driven relationship between Gloria and her parents. Further stress developed between them when Gloria's meta gene became active at the age of fourteen. Rose and Peter had a very strict intolerance of superpowered individuals whether it was caused by accident, exposure, design or in Gloria's case nature. They pulled her out of school to keep her out of the public eye and from that day forward she was raised primarily by tutors and servants of the household.

Two years later scandal and tragedy struck the Latham household. Cassandra was found dead on the walkway three stories down from the Latham family penthouse, apparently murdered. Gloria was held responsible by her own parents testimony, which stated that they'd seen Gloria push her sister to her death. Other circumstantial evidence corroborated this theory, however it was far too late to charge Gloria for it. She'd not stuck around long enough to see what the courts would determine. She ran for it, disappearing into the bowels of Neo Gotham.

For a little less than three years Gloria drifted from place to place taking what she needed as much as she had to. At one point she even feel in with a group of Jokerz. Three months previously however something changed, a chance encounter saw Gloria prevent the mugging of a convenience store. This simple act filled a small part of the gaping hole inside her that had opened after she'd run away from home. Desperate to feel as though she wasn't a complete failure, as though she did (even in a small way) matter Gloria set up shop in an abandoned gym. What she didn't know of self defense and combat she taught herself via the web. This began a unique hero career as whenever she saved someone she took something of value from them. Not much, just enough to survive, to keep going. This earned her the name "The Reaper" in the district she inhabited as her favors never came without a price.

To everyone else she says she joined because she had no place else to go and nothing better to do but really she agreed to Matt's proposal because of a desire to set right those things in her past that haunt her still and to make sure it never happens to anyone else.

Above all else Gloria is clever and calculating. She approaches every situation from a logical standpoint and very rarely lets her emotions cloud her judgement. This applies to not just to her exploits as a super hero but to her personal interactions as well. She trusts no one any more than she can verify their allegiance and always double checks everything wherever possible. She keeps extensive notes on each of her teammates. That's not to say that's she's cold when dealing with others. She's quite friendly but in the kind of way that someone who's got their prey cornered would be friendly. She gives off an aura of sizing up the people that she talks to, like she's already figured out the easiest way to take them down. Buried deeply is Gloria's dangerous sense of reckless abandon and her anger management problems. Both of these she keeps rigidly controlled under her mask of calm logic. She channels this energy into an aura of cynicism. As a result much of the time Gloria is sarcastic and doesn't seem to take things very seriously. She's blunt about mistakes made but she doesn't exaggerate, if she tells someone what they did wrong they can usually trust it to be accurate if unkind.

Innate Motivations:

Due to a number of unfortunate incidents in her past Gloria has suffered a great deal. Because of the nature of those incidents on some level Gloria believes that she deserves that suffering, that it's atonement for every mistake she's ever made. As a result on any given mission Gloria doesn't shy away from pain or injury. She's not stupid, she doesn't seek to get hurt in the field but in any of her plans her own safety is always the lowest priority. She always takes the role that garners the most risk, partly to protect her teammates but mostly because she doesn't care about her own discomfort. On a very deep level that she's not consciously aware of Gloria believes she lost the right to live a long time ago and her continued existence is due only to circumstance. She's looking for a way to die that has some meaning and some purpose so she can rest knowing she at least did something right.

• Gloria segregates many of her behavioral tendencies and habits into different personas that she's held over the course of her life. For instance "Katty" embodies her search for redemption, her pursuit of justice and her willingness to put the needs and well being of others before her own. In contrast "Ace", the name she went by as a member of the Jokerz represents her vicious tendencies, a reckless devil may care attitude and impulse control issues.
• Gloria was raised for several years almost exclusively by private tutors and other such professional help. While she doesn't have any formal degree representing an education she is versed on many subjects as her parents never gave her teachers a curriculum and being curious as she was asked for lessons about subjects that interested her at the time. These range from how her powers actually work to American Sign Language to notable superheroes of the 21st century. She had many different and changing interests as she grew up which often result in her knowing odd or very specific information about seemingly random topics.

Gloria felt a kinship with Matt who she only knew as Robin. Though she knew very little about him, far less than he knew about her Gloria trusted him. Gloria respected him as in their first encounter he engaged her in a one on one combat and emerged victorious before making his offer. However she also believed him to be too headstrong and reckless. His death impacted her greatly (though she does not show it) but it did not come as a shock.

Red Arrow carries the strange dichotomy of being the team member that Gloria has the most faith in and the one she trusts the least. Through some casual conversation she is aware that he is a legacy hero, either the son or the grandson of one of the vigilante's from the Golden Age of superheroes. As a result she respects both his talent, his skill, his equipment and his engineering abilities though she'd be the first to point out that he could apply all four more effectively. In any combat situation she leans on him the most out of anyone because she has absolute faith that he will do what is necessary for the greater good. The flip side of though sees him as the teammate the she keeps at arms length at all times. Though she'd trust him with her life she would never confide anything remotely personal to him. His insistence on keeping his identity a secret is a sign to her that while he can be trusted a hero he can't be trusted as friend or as a person. She enjoys witty banter and conversation with him but it never strays within a mile of her life or her past.

Gloria values Carmelita as an asset to the team and respects her as someone who without agenda or ulterior motive wishes to improve the city. However Gloria regards Carmelita's powers as a serious security risk. She sympathizes and pities the state that Carmelita's incomplete connection to the Speed Force has left her in and in addition to Gloria's other research has as best she can been looking for a solution to the problem. Gloria has heard Carmelita describe her state as a living hell and has come to the conclusion that for the chance to become a full fledged speedster and thus be freed from her prison Carmelita would do anything. To Gloria that includes the very real chance of betrayal. Though Gloria values Accel as part of the team she is on constant guard for the day that Carmelita will betray the Titans for her own sake.

Gloria doesn't like or trust Calvin. Nothing she has discovered about him has inspired any confidence that he has the makings of a hero. She regards him a poor choice on the part of Robin as he is the only member of the Titans who wasn't engaged in a hero career prior to joining the team. She believes he is only their because of Batman's wish to honor Robin. She considers him a nuisance at the best of times and a liability at the worst. She makes no attempt to hide this though her words are mitigated somewhat by the fact that she uses the same mocking tone and harsh language with every member of the team. She believes Calvin is only invested as long as his tenure with the Titans is "fun" and that the moment they hit a significant roadblock in which a sacrifice is required on his part he will desert them. She often refers to him as "playing hero".

His 'superhero outfit' is a simple black t-shirt with a white double-sided arrow pointing up and down. This is accompanied by a pair of jeans and sneakers as well as a pair of aviator goggles. Just because aviator goggles are cool. Also identity concealment.

Brief Bio: Calvin was a high school track and field star who performed incredibly well. Perhaps a bit too well in fact. He dominated pole vaulting, shotput, and jumping events with uncanny ease. After winning the regional championship, Matt confronted Calvin and told him that he knew he was using his metahuman abilities to cheat. Calvin fell for the bluff and begged him not to tell. Matt told Calvin that he would keep his secret if he agreed to join him and use his abilities for something a little more worthwhile than simple sporting events. Calvin agreed and joined the Titans.

Powers: Zack is capable of transforming his entire body into plant matter. His plant physiolgy grants him various abilities such as immunity to most diseases, stretchable limbs/increaseing body mass and the capability of growing barky or thorny skin. At the moment he is unable to control plants that are not incorperated into his body.
Weaknesses: Just as human as anybody wearing light body armor. Also has to be within a mile of his brother for his powers to work, in time this will fade.
Reason for joining Robin?: The twins had no place else to go. After their single father discovered they were hiding metahuman powers he 'seemingly' abandoned them in their apartment and within weeks the kids were evicted and on the streets. Still managing to get online Robin seeked them out and offered them a place on his team.
Appearance:
BRIEF Bio: The twins were first discovered at an orphanage as babies and soon after a man and his wife adopted them while they were still very young. Ten years into the Gotham family's lives had the twins losing the woman they'd called mother in a car wreck during a time when the Jokerz gang was really making a name for itself. Over the course of the next several years, their grieving father made it known he didn't care for the criminals in Gotham or the 'heroes' who hide behind masks trying to battle them. However several months ago, the twins' father Greg Winston, went out to pick up dinner and never returned home. It more than likely had something to do with him witnessing the kids using their new metahuman abilities days earlier. After only a few weeks the kids were evicted from the apartment. They were close enough to eighteen that nobody really cared if they were homeless or not.

That's when Matt McGinnis and his mother saw the twins defending themselves against a handful of Jokerz. Matt knew that those kids had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Days later the younger brother of Batman found the teens picking up an internet signal outside of a Pizza Play resteraunt on electronic devices they hadn't yet pawned. A couple bags full of clothes and a few belongings were all they had to their names. Matt explained how he was the new Robin and was forming his own team of Titans, and the twins quickly agreed to join. Living in an abanndonned 19th century arcade, they agreed to let it also serve as the base of operations for this new team who's first mission was to knock Batman himself down a peg.

Two weeks later when Matt McGinniss was killed the boys were back to square one. That was until Batman returned and said he was putting the team back together. He told the twins Matt was his brother, and how he had to do it to honor him. Both understood and helped Terry construct a bunker HQ under the old arcade. The twins moved downstairs into the HQ where one or two other teammates could also have a room there. Over the last four weeks, the eight times Batman had showed up for training were the highlights of the month. Each member of the team got new suits and in memory of Matt a statue was put up towards the entrance of Robin.

Notes: * After the first arc the boys will get tired of being called Wonder Twins and stop dressing alike. Their powers will also begin to evolve [like Beast Boy to Animal Man and Poison Ivy to Swamp Thing].

* J and Z no longer attend school. They were both however juniors in high school when they dropped out, with Z accelling in academics and J being into more physical sports at Hamilton High. Matt McGinnis was a sophomore before bein killed and Terry/Batman is currently in college.

* Only the members of the team who saw Matt more frequently at school [possibly any who were in his grade or in several classes with him] knew his identity but they were still unaware he had an older brother who was Batman. The twins now know his identity as well as Batman's since Terry opened up to them about Robin being his younger brother. His secret is safe with the twins.

* One of the twins will have a day job.

* Bruce Wayne is funding the team but also on the verge of dying. With Paxton Powers in jail the ownership of Wayne/Powers falls on the stockholders and Terry McGinnis' shoulders, as Bruce Wayne gave Terry his remaining shares of the company.
