[IC] The Room

*Jillian sits, and smokes also low key listening to Mergs stories.*
Jillian: Long days, and pleasant nights!
*She keeps sitting, and looks over at Lecter.*
Jillian: So.. what happened in the forest?

*Hanna shakes her head*

Hanna: I-I'll wait here.

*She keeps herself calm by staying far away from the door*

*Lecter looks over at Jillian and sighs*
Lecter: When I woke up, I was in the forest. And... it turns out a certain Devil is around. He sent two Mephistos after me, Devils that wear cloaks to hide their beetle-esque bodies. Now, my plan is to find that Devil and kill him. Before he does anything else.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris nods, pats Hanna's head and turns to find Horus only to scream in alarm as the hawk crashes through the window*
Iris: Alright, I'll go find h- AHH!

Silvan: Yes! To you as well Lady Jillian!
*Silvan half-opens the door but is distracted by the bird*
Silvan: What's going o- URK!
*He looks down at his chest, where it's been impaled by a sword wielded by an undead knight*
*Blood trickles from the corner of his mouth, he sputters a few unintelligible words and collapses to the ground*

*Mergoux roars in rage at the sight of Silvan being slain and draws her blade*

*Hanna is stiff as a rock as she watches in shock as some "zombies shank Silvan"*

*She can't help but get triggered by the smell of his blood, and her eye changes to black and red*

*Karma does a 180 and flies at the undead knight, her talons extended towards his face*

*Lecter stands up suddenly as he hears the fighting and draws an arm blade*
Lecter: Sounds like trouble.
*The Devil Hunter sprints towards the sound of Mergoux's cry*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris holds Hanna tightly to her*
Iris: Oh Danu... Hanna come with me! We need to get Horus!
*Makes an attempt to drag Hanna off towards her and Horus's room*

*Mergoux pauses, eyes going wide as she recognizes the Knights, or more precisely, what's animating them*
Mergoux: Holy... Can't be... Not here!
*She launches herself at the closest knight, burying her two-handed sword in it's shoulder, biting deep into the rotting flesh*
*She winces as she tears open her wound, which starts bleeding into the bandages again*

*Hanna resists Iris's attempt to pull her away, remaining firmly in position*

*She looks up at Iris then back at the fight*

*She starts to pull away and walk towards the fight*

*Her left eye is twitching*

*Lecter sees Mergoux and the knight and frowms*
Lecter: Dying once isn't enough, I see.
*Lecter's form shifts again, once more becoming a demonic version of itself as the Devil Hunter surges forwards to help Mergoux*
Lecter: You're not a Devil, but I will treat you like one.

[Overlord Thraka]

*The Knight laughs in a gurgling fashion. His glowing yellow eyes pierce Mergoux's soul as he stares at her. He speaks in a voice not his own, deep, rumbling and cruel*
Knight: I see youuuu!
*He stabs Mergoux in the thigh, she cries out in pain and yanks her sword from his shoulder, limping back a step before lopping it's head clean off. The body collapses but the head continues to laugh silently*
*Mergoux quickly deflects another swordblow from another knight but is being overwhelmed, as the knight is strong in it's undead form, and she's wounded*

*The 3rd knight swings wildly at the falcon until he's attacked by Lecter*

*Iris's skin is black with fear*
Iris: Hanna! Hanna please we need to leave!

*Karma has been biting at the knight's face and generally trying to distract him, until Lecter shows up, where she then flies off to give Lecter fighting room*
Lecter: Ready to die, again?
*Lecter's voice is stone and timeless as he speaks, with a hint of malice*
*The Devil Hunter stabs with his blade, aiming for the knight's heart*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux drops her two-handed sword, as her wound is tearing and she can't wield it one handed. She deflects a swordblow off her bracers and grunts in pain as the bone cracks from the force of it. She draws her longsword and jams it under the knight's chin as it speaks*
Knight: You will be mine again!
Mergoux: NEVER!
*The knight keels over with Mergoux's sword protruding from the top of it's skull. Mergoux allows herself to sink to the ground and puts pressure on her leg wound*
Mergoux: The brain! You need to destroy the brain!

*Lecter's knight only laughs as he's stabbed*
Knight: Fool! Such an attack cannot destroy my slaves!
*The knight slashes at Lecter's throat with his own blade*

*Hanna ignores Iris and walks up to Merg uncaring if she gets hit or not*

*She Grabs Merg and pulls her away from the confrontation before pinning her to the floor and staring at her wounds*

*Lecter uses his other arm blade to block the knights sword, and growls at him*
Lecter: A Devil behind it all? Might be worth my time after all.
*The Devil Hunter rips his blade out of the knight's gut and slashes at the knight's head*

[Overlord Thraka]

*The Knight's head get's bisected and it collapses to the floor*

*Mergoux struggles against Hanna*
Mergoux: What the- Who are you!? Let go of me!
*She struggles against the pinning but is in pain and bleeding rather badly, so she's kinda drained*
*Iris runs up to Hanna and tries to drag her off Mergoux*
Iris: Hanna no! Let her go!

*Lecter looks over at Hanna and Merg, and frowns*
Lecter: Karma, stop her.
*Immediately, Karma swoops at Hanna's face, giving a shrill cry as she soars*

*Hanna goes to lick one of Merg's woulds but stops when Iris tries to drag her off*

*She looks up at Iris for a brief moment before Karma starts going at her*

*Hanna covers her eyes and runs into a corner trying to avoid her face getting hit*

*Lecter makes his way towards Mergoux, ready to defend against the other knight and/or Hanna*
*Karma changes her target mid-dive and claws at Hanna's wrist while still shrieking*

*Hanna hisses in pain as her wrists get clawed*

Hanna: S-stop! I-I stopped! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!

*She's backed into the corner making sure the angry bird doesn't remove her eyes*

*Karma lands in front of Hanna and stares up at her, her black eyes glittering in the light*
*A voice enters Hanna's mind, a sound that is nothing more than a hiss being forced into a comprehensible language*
Not a Devil, and not a mortal. If only he would let me taste you.
