*Hanna's wounds heal very quickly and she cowers for a few moments before realising that Karma has stopped attacking her*

Hanna: W-what? T-t-taste me?

*Hanna tries to scramble back but is already against a wall*

*Karma continues to stare at Hanna, remaining exactly where she is*
*Lecter glances over at Hanna at her comment and frowns slightly, but doesn't let it distract him from any combat*
*The voice doesn't speak anymore, and it sounded somewhat strained when it did speak*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux is more than a little freaked out by everything that's happened so suddenly, then remembers Silvan*
*She drags herself over to him and looks at him, seeing if it's still possible to save him*
*Silvan's doing that 1000 mile stare as blood pools under him. Mergoux lets out a string of curses in harsh unfamiliar language, then closes Silvan's eyes, with a respectfulness and gentleness not yet seen from her*
Mergoux: Rest well Silvan Brengest... I hope the other side of the wall holds you well...
*She then starts crudely binding her leg and other wounds that have re-opened*

*Iris screams in alarm and anger*
Iris: Leave her alone you stupid bird!
*She runs to Hanna and places herself between Karma and Hanna, her skin a mix if red and black, looking almost demonic in nature*
Iris: Don't you dare hurt her again!

*Karma stands her ground and cocks her head at Iris*
*The bird of prey extends her wings and hops once towards the Rainbow goddess*

*Lecter glances over at Iris and frowns*
Lecter: She attacked Mergoux. I guarantee that Karma will attack again if Hanna tries anything, because I'll tell her to. And I wouldn't insult her, she doesn't like it.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris stands her ground, but is obviously afraid*
Iris: S-she didn't do anything! She didn't harm her!
*She covers Hanna protectively*

*Mergoux grits her teeth in pain as she realizes she's hurt her arm too. She eases the gauntlets and bracer off and rubs it where a large bruise is already starting to form*
*She looks over at Lecter*
Mergoux: Leave them alone... for now...
*She's done her best to patch herself up, but still needs professional medical attention and soon*

*Lecter looks over at Mergoux and shakes his head*
Lecter: You need medical attention.

*Karma rears up on her legs to make herself taller, staring up at Iris's eyes*
*she gives a small cry and leans forwards slightly, as if trying entice Iris to meet her gaze*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris meets Karma's gaze, her multicolored eyes staring down at the falcon in determination*
Iris: Leave. Us. Alone... Please...

*Mergoux tries to stand, curses and falls back*
*She sighs and looks up at Lecter*
Mergoux: S***! You're probably right...

*Lecter sheathes his swords and bends down to help Merg*
Lecter: Jillian knows her way around a medkit. Otherwise, I'm not sure who can treat you.

*As soon as Iris meets Karma's gaze, images of bloodshed, war, slaughter, and fires enter her mind. Each image is stronger, more vivid, and more horrid than the last*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux hisses in pain as she's helped*
Mergoux: Agh... Yeah I'd sooner Jillian aide me... No offense but- What the-?!
*She looks over at Iris's reaction in slight worry, as she's got no reason not to dislike Iris and doesn't like seeing innocent people hurt*
*Iris screams and falls to the ground, trying to block out the visions by covering her eyes. She keeps screaming in terror as her skin goes coal black*
Iris: NOOO! MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE! NOOOO!

*As soon as Iris's gaze breaks from Karma's, the visions stop, and Lecter's head snaps over towards the pair*
*Lecter's form changes back to its original, human shape, and the Devil Hunter's brow furrows into a frown*
Lecter: Karma, outside. Keep watch for any other knights.
*Karma follows Lecter's orders, flying out the window she broke earlier*
Lecter: Iris?

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux looks angry*
Mergoux: What did that bird do to her?!
*Iris shudders in fear, still curled in a ball*

*Lecter shakes his head*
Lecter: Nothing permanent. Karma knows her boundaries. Relax, both of you. If you stress yourself, your wounds will only get worse. Iris, you're in a safe place. No one here will hurt you. Remember where you are.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux glares at Lecter*
Mergoux: What did that bird do to her?!
*She gets up unsteadily, gritting her teeth in pain from her leg as she uses her longsword as a makeshift walking stick*

*Iris shivers and slowly calms down, she's still pretty shaken as she sits up and draws her knees up to her chest*
Iris: W-w-what what t-that!?

*Lecter sighs*
Lecter: Do not threaten or insult Karma. She reacts poorly. You're better off staring at her feet, and staying quiet. It's better for everyone involved to not challenge Karma's pride.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux glares at Lecter with newfound distrust and anger*
Mergoux: What is that thing!? It's no normal bird is it?

*Iris doesn't speak, just sitting with her knees*

*Lecter shakes his head*
Lecter: Karma is my bird. A Devil Hunter in her own right, which means that she is dangerous. But I can guarantee that she will never lay a mortal wound, unless it is on something that deserves it. She clawed Hanna to protect you, Mergoux. As for you, Iris, she was retaliating against you.

*Jillian was smoking her cigarettes outside, hears the commotion, and runs inside. She frowns at everyone.*
Jillian: The hell is going on?
*Notices Merg, sighs, and starts to treat her wound.*
Jillian: Fill me in.

*Lecter nods to Jillian*
Lecter: Those knights we killed came back. Now they'll stay down. After that, Hanna had... an episode, she grabbed Mergoux. Karma stopped it before anything serious could happen. And Silvan is dead now too.

[Overlord Thraka]

*Mergoux grits her teeth in pain as Jillian treats her wounds*
Mergoux: Thanks.. Yeah, those Knights came back... They were animated..
*She gestures to the blackblooded bodies and shivers as she remembers what they said to her*
