*Iris is more than a little hurt and sort of shrivels sadly*

*Horus comes out of the gym, sees Iris is wounded and immediately starts fussing over his wife worriedly*
*Iris obviously needs him so he postpones leaving the room to crush the being who dared to hurt his waifu*

*Mergoux barely so much as breathes, mentally cursing herself for running off and Lecter for not following her*

*The Tigerkin keep searching below, not seeing her in the trees due to the ranger cloak*

*Hanna walks out of the library, saddened after reading the start of "The Hunchback Assignments" by Arthur Slade*

*She walks into the main room to get a drink and notices Horus fussing over Iris and walks over*

Hanna: H-Horus? W-what's wrong?

[Overlord Thraka]

*Horus looks angered and worried at the same time*
Horus: Someone attacked Iris while she went for a walk.
*Iris nods weakly and gives Hanna a thumbs up with one heavily bandaged arm*
Iris: I'm okay Hanna... I'll be alright, I just got a little roughed up is all...
*Horus growls*
Horus: Roughed up!? You're half-dead! When I get my hands on whoever did this to you I'll-
*He makes several violent gestures as Iris sighs weakly and looks at him*
Iris: Do what you must dear... but be careful alright?

*Hanna's eye twitches*

Hanna: W-why would s-someone do this?

*Her fingers twitch and her left eye changes to black and red*

Hanna: Who c-could do something l-like this!?

*Hanna has a mix of rage and sadness on her face*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris looks worried and beckons Hanna towards her. Once there she hugs weakly with on arm and just tries to calm her down*
Iris: I-it's okay dear... really, I'm safe, I'm okay. Don't worry about it, Horus will take care of it alright?
*Her skintone, previously a calm blue is sinking slowly into a worried shade of blue-green*

*Horus watches Hanna carefully but nods affirmingly*
Horus: Aye, don't worry yourself Hanna, Iris is fine and in the morning I'm going to go find who did this and end them

*Leader keeps frowning under his helm, and decides to ask another question.*
Leader: Are you human?

*John is sitting in the bar being silent, he watches his cigar burn down, and sighs at it's passing.*
John: Goodbye cigar, your tobacco smoke gave me little to no relief.

*Hanna hisses and calms down slightly*

Hanna: F-fine...

*Hanna goes up to Iris and hugs her, she makes extra sure to be gentle given Iris's current state*

*Iris would be able to notice that Hanna's breathing is ragged and heavy*

*Iris looks worried for Hanna as she hugs*
Iris: Hanna are you okay? Please, just calm down... it'll be okay, I'm still here.
*She exchanges a worried glance with Horus, thinks for a moment then tries to distract Hanna*
Iris: Tell you what, why don't you go find a book and I'll read it with you okay?
*She smiles brightly at Hanna, though it's somewhat obvious she's faking it for Hanna's benefit*

*Hanna slowly breaks away from the hug after she notices her hand was etching towards Iris's wound*

*Hanna tries to smile back at Iris but can't quite manage it*

Hanna: O-o-ok...

*Hanna looks away after having a brief memory of Jackson and the lab*

*Horus helps Iris to stand and Iris holds her good hand out for Hanna*
*She smiles kindly at Hanna as her skin turns back towards a calmer blue*
Iris: Come on dear, it's okay. Horus will take care of everything.
*With Horus's help she limps off to the library and sits in a comedically oversized chair that could easily fit her and Hanna*

*Horus stands up and looks between then both then kneels down to Hanna and speaks so Iris couldn't hear*
Horus: Hanna, I'm going to go take down the people who hurt Iris, just like I took down the people who hurt you okay? But while I'm gone, Iris needs to be in safe hands. I'm trusting you for this okay? Just keep an eye on her for me. Can you do that?

*Hanna nods to Horus*

*Her eye finally goes back to its normal colour and she takes a seat next to Iris*

*She sits there looking at Iris's bandages before getting up and looking for a book*

[Overlord Thraka]

*Horus balls his fists in anger as he walks towards the exit to the room then sees the 4 armed robot thing*
Horus: What the- Oi! Who are you!
*He walks outside then starts walking towards the thing*

*Iris smiles patiently and waits for Hanna to get a book*
*Once book is gotten she reads to Hanna for a while before her stomach growls*
Iris: Hm... I'm hungry... you hun- Oops, sorry Dear! Erm...
*She looks awkwardly at Hanna for a moment then sighs*
Iris: Are you hungry Hanna?

*Hanna nods to Iris*

Hanna: Always...

*Her eyes drift over to Iris's bandages for a moment*

Hanna: ... P-please look a-away...

*Hanna waits a few moments before biting off her left thumb*

*It starts to grow back instantly, taking a 1-2 mins to fully regrow*

*Iris tries not to wince at the sound of the finger biting but fails*
*She sighs and gently pets Hanna's head soothingly*
Iris: We've got to find a way to help you...
*She sighs sadly again and continues reading for a while, but is slowly drifting off to sleep, still weak from blood loss*
*Eventually her head lols and the book drops to the floor as she dozes off peacefully, leaning against the armrest of the massive chair*

*Hanna watches Iris drift off to sleep and carefully gets off the chair*

*She sits a few meters away from Iris and just watches her*

*Karma eventually reaches the bar and spots John*

*The voice comes from the back of John's mind, a feminine sound that is no louder than a whisper*

*Nonac heads out yawning and looks round the room*

*After a few hours Iris stirs weakly and rubs her eyes*
Iris: Mmmm.... Did I nod off?
*She sits her up a little bit as she shifted while she slept and smiles at Hanna*
Iris: Oh, Hanna! I'm sorry!

*Togan sniffs then slowly looks up*
Togan: THERE! SISTER COME! I HAVE HER!
*He roars and starts climbing Mergoux's tree*
*Mergoux swears violently and tries to draw her crossbow*

*Cavalry commander rides up the door and hitches his horse, clad in Arabian style armour and a well forged sabre at hip*
