*Iris nods*
Iris: I hear it too... Help me stand will you please?
*She with some help from Hanna she gets up, essentially leaning heavily on Hanna's shoulder and answers the door*
*If Alexus isn't online to respond to this, then she just welcomes the dude to the room and lets him in so that she and Hanna are not stuck until Alexus wakes*
*After that she smiles down at Hanna*
Iris: You mind helping me to the kitchen? I'm starving...

*Hanna takes Iris to the kitchen and sets her down in a chair gently*

*Hanna smiles back at Iris*

Hanna: W-what do you w-want to eat?

*Iris grabs some fruit off the bowl in the middle of the table*
Iris: Oh I'm fine with this. Thank you though dear!
*She thinks for a bit, pondering if she should try to teach Hanna how to cook or not*

*Mergoux is still looking for an escape from the Weretiger siblings who are roaring loudly and climbing the tree after her*

*Horus is still waiting for a response from the 4 armed thingy*

*Hanna isn't a fan of seeing Iris hurt, but she maintains her smile*

Hanna: O-ok!

*Hanna grabs herself a cup of water and sits opposite to Iris*

*Her head sinks after she finishes her drink*

*Iris smiles over at Hanna and reaches out to pet her head*
Iris: You alright there dear?
*She frowns as she feels something funny on her back and turns to her head to try and look behind her, failing obviously*

*Hanna looks up at Iris*

Hanna: Y-yean... I'm f-fine. Just remembering s-stuff...

*She tilts her head at Iris trying to look at her back*

Hanna: W-what's wrong?

*Iris looks back and seems sympathetic*
Iris: Are you sure dear? Anything I can help with? Talk you though?
*She tries to look over her shoulder again*
Iris: I don't know... My back feels funny... could you check it out?
*There are two small bumps on Iris's shoulderblades under her shirt*

*Hanna nods again*

Hanna: I-I'm alright.

*Hanna gets out of her chair and walks behind Iris*

Hanna: Hmmmm...

*She pulls up a chair to stand on, then gently pokes one of the bumps while standing on the chair*

Hanna: Y-you didn't always h-have these b-bumps her d-did you?

[Overlord Thraka]

*Iris squirms as she's poked and sounds panicked*
Iris: Bumps!? What bumps!?
*They appear to be growing, stretching the back of Iris's shirt*
Iris: Hanna tell me what you see!
*Under her shirt on her shoulderblades are two tiny little leathery wings that slow grow bigger and bigger*

*Hanna gasps*

Hanna: T-the bumps are g-getting bigger!

*Hanna hops of the chair and moves it out of the way*

*She then goes to help Iris get up*

Hanna: L-lets get y-you to a m-mirror!

*Iris nods and gets up, leaning heavily on Hanna*
Iris: My room... there's a mirrorset in the bathroom there
*She walks along, looking worried, her skin taking on a dark hue*
*She enters her room with Hanna's help and heads into the bathroom. She pulls upp the back of her shirt and awkwardly looks over her shoulder*
*Her eyes widen as she sees the tiny wings and she gasps*
Iris: By Danu....

*Hanna tries to make sure Iris doesn't fall over*

*She looks up at Iris, then over her own shoulder and gasps at the little wings*

Hanna: I-Iris? A-are you g-going to be alright!?

*Iris looks less alarmed, but more worried*
Iris: I-I.. I'll be alright Hanna... at least I should be...
*She tries to pull the back of her shirt down but the wings have become too large*
Iris: Oh Danu... this is going to be a problem...
*She's momentarily forgotten Hanna is there as she takes off the shirt and grabs some scissors to cut holes in it, all the time staring at herself in the mirror*

*Hanna squeaks and closes her eyes*

Hanna: D-does it h-hurt? I-is there anything I-I can do?

*Hanna continues holding Iris up*

*Iris goes a tiny bit pink*
Iris: OH! Oh Hanna I'm so sorry! Here, let me just...
*Snip, snip*
Iris: There! You can look now, I'm decent.
*She sighs worriedly, closes her eyes and concentrates, then her wings wiggle a tiny bit*
Iris: Oh Danu...
*She smiles feebly*
Iris: I suppose I should explain this huh? Well it's a bit of a long story.. Come, let's go sit down...

*Hanna slowly opens her eyes before guiding Iris to her bed*

*Hanna nods and can't help but look at the wings*

*Rider nods as walks in and watches the woman and child run off to a room and turns to Nonac, hoping to see the second Barbarian*

Good. Now I can speak feely, Barbarian. Your kin have caused us... Issues.

*Nonac retorts angrily*
Issues. You mean vassal of the bear lord. Watching, oh, he will turn on you come chance. And then you fight alone too.

*Rider*
Your raiding and thievery started this, why would we back Barbarians.
Your land was worthless...

*Both carry on a tense stand off and stare but bot yet reaching for weapons*

*Iris sits down on the edge of the bed and sighs*
Iris: The first thing you should know is that... well I'm okay, I'm not going to die or be hurt, I'm.. changing.. It's a natural thing for my race, as we grow older our bodies change. That's why my skin changes color all the time, or why Horus is so much bigger than me and has a bird head.
*She wiggles her wings again*
Iris: This is just... another change... One that I'll have to learn to live with once it stops...

*Hanna looks relieved*

Hanna: O-oh. That's g-good to hear.

*Hanna hugs Iris*

Hanna: As long a-as you are o-ok with w-wings.

Leader: We plan to kill him, and then some.
*He grins under his helm, and tilts his head.
Leader: Why do you ask? Do you care for him?
