Superman's age has nothing to do with it. Why you thought that mattered is ridiculous based on what I said.

The CS I written depends on the show existing as is, the GLC (at least one particular member of it), and it not being some random universe that has absolutely nothing to do with the DCAU beyond the name.

Also Alan Scott sucks balls. He is weak against wood. He could be beaten by a random mugger if he used a stick.

The recent attempt at a modern Alan Scott that was gay... he sucked balls. Making a superhero just as prone to getting beat with a wooden bat as anybody else was a clever weakness. It was a huge plot hole though with Alan using his power to pass through walls that would often have been made of wood.

Just for giggles, what exactly would you have done had I not selected a handful of characters to alter myself for mentors? What if everything was open for reinterpretation and we got a new GL, a new Superman, etc? I only assumed an older Superman would effect a Galatea CS because of her connection to Supergirl. The last person I'd think would effect her CS would be John Stewart.

John Stewart was never involved in Galatea's CS, as you'll see. John Stewart was only mentioned earlier because he was the GL of the JL.

I had Galatea post Watchtower assault be abandoned by Cadmus, she wandered the stars. Eventually met Hal Jordan and eventually working with him on a mission. They teamed up on & off for years, on missions and sex. They claim they weren't romantically involved, but they most definitely were. She became a good gal adopted the name Power Girl from a poorly translated phrase from a girl she saved. Hal retired to Earth and on the long space cab ride home Hal spent the time trying to convince Galatea to attempt to make amends with the JL and to try and join them. He reminded her that Ganthet agreed to be a character witness for her mostly because he is just that nice (at least that is how I remember him from the various things I seen him in, I could be remembering him wrong) and because she was fundamental in helping him set up the BLC. Hal reminded her about some other stuff in regards to the league members. I made a joke, but from Hal's point of view it wasn't, about Batman probably or might be being dead and fighting as a spectre. The sample post ended with her flying off to find the Justice League.

What was not revealed is the only she left was because she couldn't sit there and watch him die of cancer or old age whichever came first. Also not revealed and might not have included anyway was that she was with child, not Hal's but an evil slimy monster with tentacles impregnated her. Just kidding it would have been Hal's if it came up.

Ultimately the only reason she became a good gal was boredom, needing some ass to kick, and the love of a good guy.

Ya know, one of these days I'm going to post my interest in one of your RP's and actually get around to putting up a CS XD.

Anyway, for character ideas, I've got at least two-

One- some Average Joe who just so happens to have physical abilities that approach Kryptonian standards... but he's spent his whole life actively avoiding anything to do with spandex, capes and people with death rays trying to murder him until it's abruptly forced upon him via being on the receiving end of a brutal beat down by Bizarro while desperately trying to buy time for someone from the league (who, as a rule, tend to actually know what the hell they're doing) to show up and save his town.

He has no eye lasers.
No freezing breath.
No ability to fly.
He can't breathe in space.
And he's in way over his head.

Two- An old idea I've had floating around in my head for a while now; washed-up teenage super-team reject who grew up to be a semi-homeless hero-for-hire/freelance cop, traversing north and south America in an old Ford Bronco taking down villains and fighting crime with nothing but his wits, an arsenal of MacGuyvered weaponry and one hell of a chip on his shoulder.

More folk-hero than caped crusader, he's somewhat skeptical about the kind of people who wear tights and capes and make bombastic speeches about justice and virtue (for reasons that have nothing at all to do with being very publicly cast out of his former team in favour to be replaced by someone more marketable), but does acknowledge the usefulness of the league as a whole... this does not, however, mean he's ever going to stop being a sarcastic prick.

Natural Abilities: Rust's species are naturally strong and tough, able to rip apart steel like cardboard and take small arms fire like it's nothing more than spitballs. Given enough time and food Rust will outgrow their exoskeleton, becoming larger and stronger but needing to dry off and harden before going back into action.

Redox Manipulation: A power they seemingly gained on their own, Rust is able to induce Redox in whatever he touches. This means they can cause metals to rust or flammable materials to combust.

Weaknesses
Touch Required: For their abilities to work they must be in physical contact with whatever they're trying to affect.

Material Resistances: Certain alloys and treated metals are largely unaffected by their touch and normally flammable materials may take longer to light if they are wet.

Uneducated: Rust was a test subject and very little else, a full education was never on the table. They understand english but their facial structure makes it impossible to speak it and they understand numbers up to ten.

Semi-Feral: As a consequence of their upbringing Rust is more animal than person, they have a fairly self centric morality and doesn't really understand things like "Good and Evil" quite yet. They hoard food, watch everyone, and tend to treat every new person, place,or thing with suspicion. They only person they seem to have any fondness for is Superman.

Hatred of Medical Personnel: As doctors and needles were the reason for their rough upbringing Rust absolutely refuses to be subjected to their ministrations without the presence of Superman. Anyone with the word "Doctor" in their name is immediately put on Rust's shitlist.
Appearance
Rust is a seven foot tall insectoid-like humanoid alien from an unknown planet. Their body is a storybook of their captivity and study, scars where parts were cut open and resealed are visible all over and the serial number "PPK-246" is branded on their head. Rust's kind cannot make facial expressions outside of clicking their mandibles and gnashing teeth, so one must look to body language for what's on the alien's mind. They have a magical bracelet that was provided to them that translates their thoughts to others through telepathy.

Character Evolution
As it stands Rust is basically a feral child that was found before it was too late to teach them anything. They need to break out of their shell, literally and figuratively, and grow as a person. Hopefully as Superman as a mentor they will be able to learn what it means to be a hero and a person.

BRIEF Bio
There isn't much to Rust's story. A cabal of scientists paid an alien bounty hunter to gather test subjects in an attempt to develop weapons and gene mods. Rust was taken in as an egg and was hatched on Earth in their care, whereupon they stayed for fifteen years. It was hell, they were cut open and drilled into so many times that it's burned a permanent phobia of medical equipment into their minds. The only respite was a man named "Johnson" who became the only spark of positivity in Rust's life and the only thing that kept them from tearing the place apart, something that was most likely intentional.

Somehow Superman found the place and did his superhero thing, freeing the aliens and locking away the nightmarishly inhuman scientists. Seeing the source of their torment get dismantled immediately latched Rust onto the Man of Steel, who insisted on helping their savior in any way possible.

-Cybernetic Augments- Cyborg is generally better than the averge human. He's got enhanced strength, durability, stamina and intelligence thanks to his cybernetic augments. Using his unique connection with technolgy, Victor can also hack into various technolgies through touch or sometimes wirelessly depedning on the technolgy.
-Disruptor cannon- Through force of will Victor can reconsitute his arms into cannons capable of firing short to medium range blast of pure force which are capable of blowing a hole through five feet of concrete. To further augment his power Cyborg can put his arms together to form a larger cannon.
-Force Feild Generator- Cyborg can utilize the same force from his cannons to form a protective barrier around his person and is able to fly at limited speeds (10 Km/h) using the the feild.

Some of my better micro work. I actually took the chest piece from a Halflife base micro and edited it for the upper body. Some of the Halo bases were too bulky.
