Pokemon: Legendary Guardians [Rebooting]

In a small chunk of the world known as Viore, a legend has been passed down about ten heroes that defeated a great evil and restored peace to the land. While no one really knows if this is true, what has been true is that there has been peace, at least until now.

Viore has always been a PokeManiac And Ruin Maniac's Paradise, with an abundance of Pokemon from all across the world like no other Region, as well as a plethora of lost ruins and legends just waiting to be discovered. However, in recent years, it has become the target of poachers and thieves.

Most of the region is blissfully unaware of this. However, a mysterious group has begun working from the shadows to change Viore. An ancient prophecy is coming to light, and it will be up to a group of unlikely heroes to keep peace and harmony in Viore, whether they know it or not.

Hello again all. It's back again. Legendary Guardians, my oldest and most in depth RP to date, is starting over once again, and we want you to help out. I'm looking for guys and girls who I can count on to stick through to the end. A lot has changed since I started this back when I first joined the Guild.

Aspects of the RP will include an overarching but player driven plot, a new expansive region with Pokemon from every generation available, plenty of adventures and things to do for players, and a powerful organization operating in the shadows.

I'm expecting a lot of character interaction, both with other characters and NPCs. There will be Gym Battles and Contests both based off the Anime Versions, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's more to come if this gets off the ground!

Main Characters will form the backbone of the overarching plot. They will be bonded to certain special/legendary/mythical Pokemon. This will happen over time, not all at once. So it will occur over the course of the RP. It will be the main non-player driven force behind the RP.

There will be 10 Main Characters, but I will allow players to control multiple characters up to a limit of 2-3. You don't have to be a main character if you don't want to. The possibilities are as endless as Pokemon seemingly is itself, so come join the fun and drop some interest if you want to take part in this!

1. Is there going to be a level/move system in place to keep track of our characters
2. With the whole legendary thing, are they obtained from the get go or is that later on in the RP.

@Artymis The only type of Move System I have is the Four Moves the Pokemon knows. I'm basing a lot of this off the Anime, so you're not restricted to just "Attack". That also means Battle Items and (for the most part) In-Battle Healing will be off the table.

If you are a Guardian, you will meet your Guardian Partner sometime throughout the course of the RP. And with that being said, here's the ones that will be available:

Originally I had intended for the list to be much larger, but over time that made less sense lore wise and there were never enough players at one time. Also some of the Pokemon were a bit overpowered. Also, ones that are already taken are ones for characters under my control. Sorry.

EDIT: Also, The Guardian Pokemon will NOT Count as a Party Member. No Catching Them, and Only Battling with them if no other option is presented.

After a bit here I'll buff out a new CS so you guys can try out some characters.

Most of it is self explanatory, but there are a few things I'd like to clear up ahead of time. If you want to be a Main Character, or Legendary Guardian, you will put Yes and put an image of the Guardian Pokemon you would like. If not, just put No and delete the img BBCode.

Depending on what you want to pursue, I included two different titles. Pokemon Trainer, or Pokemon Coordinator. Trainers is the broad selection, while Coordinator is for those pursuing Contests.

And the Notes Section is just where you put little details about your character that don't fit anywhere else.

Personality: Lily is a kindhearted and generally sweet girl, and she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty to help someone or get something done. She tends to be a bit headstrong and reckless, which often leads into some tricky situations. She doesn't like to lie, and will only do it if absolutely necessary. She's an all around good friend to have by your side, as friendship and family are her most treasured values in life.

History: Lily was born in the hustle and bustle of Goldenrod City. She was born to Mitchell and Leanne Meadows, two former Silver Conference Trainers. It was clear who's side of the family she took after the most, inheriting her mother's green hair and eyes, as well as her passion for Pokemon.

Like all kids her age, she attended Pokemon Trainer's School where she learned the basics of being a Pokemon Trainer. That wasn't her only source, though. Her parents encouraged her growing enthusiasm by teaching her many tips and tricks they had picked up on their journey.

One day her mother recieved something that she had been waiting for. She'd passed the test to become a Gym Leader, and had been assigned as the new Gym Leader for a place called Lilac City, in a region Lily had never heard of before: Viore. During her trial period as Gym Leader, her family remained in Johto until she came home for Lily's tenth birthday, where she gave Lily her first Pokemon, a Chikorita she nicknamed Autumn.

That day she broke the news that she had passed her trial period and become the official Gym Leader of Lilac City, and that they were finally ready to move to Viore. Over the next few days they packed their things and headed to the airport, where they finally got underway to a region Lily was excited to explore.

Notes:

• Both of Lily's parents were participants in the same Silver League Conference. While her father was eliminated early on, her mother made it to the Top Eight before being eliminated.
• Since she is not from Viore, she is not aware of the vast history the Region has, or of the legends about the Region itself.
• While she is just starting out as a Trainer, she has a bit more experience with Pokemon because of her parents, who taught her some skills and tricks she is excited to try out on her own.
