The year is XXX 275, and people have changed. No one can remember the world before, or what it was, or even cares to know. Life is good. Technology has advanced and is continuing to do so quickly, and everyone now have tiny built in cellphones installed in their heads, called T.I.s. The government is actually solving problems world-wide, like poverty and crime, though they keep a little too many secrets to themselves. The people of Earth, or rather, Terra, have become lazy. They ignore the crimes and sins performed by the government, and focus on the criminals on the bright screens they sit in front of at home. Laws have been strengthened with a death penalty, and all the sheep who live inside, blissfully ignorant, are all lead into a boxed existence. They grow up. Go to school. Get a boring job in the business department, meet a nice person, fall in love and raise a family. Then the kids grow up. They follow their parent’s footsteps; cast a shadow right next to theirs. A shadow so faint, no one bothers to look twice.
In a different part of town, you’re just waking up. You yawn, look around, and ask yourself, What the hell happened? You have no idea that several kids across Terra are thinking similar things. You take a look at your skin and you’ll see that it’s paler than normal, like you haven’t seen daylight for a while. You begin to remember things – your family, friends, where you’re from – maybe the government hasn’t affected your country as much, and allows you to be whoever you want, as long as you stay within the law. A red light distracts you. It’s a government tracker. You try to take it off, and it lets out a beep. It was signaling someone. The point is, you’re not safe. People are looking for you, and it’s not anyone you know, because they’ve all forgotten. Like someone brainwashed them. Well guess what? Someone did. Now other people like you are getting little virtual notes on their T.I.s, telling them to come to Lemon Manor, in Britannia, an ‘old’ country that the government doesn’t care about to patrol. You can easily teleport on a citizen portal there. So go, quickly, before they catch up to you.
This is a Supernatural/Superhero RP. Your ‘species’ are known as the Divus Essentia, or Divine Beings. You each get two powers per character, try to keep them simple and have limits on what they can do and how much control they have, because I want to see the characters change and grow with their powers. If I feel you’re starting out too powerful, I will tell you. Here are the rules:
No god-modding
No powerplay
Don’t be rude to other players
This is my first time as GM, so don’t pick on me
And basically, be a person I’d like to RP with in the future.
Thank You
