"I can try" cody said, "give me a knife"

"Giving away my knifes right and left." Roxy pulls a large hunting knife out of her boot and hands it to Cody. "Be fast. We need that shield done to move."

"You will get it back" he promised, and moved into the shadows once more, heading back through he sheild

Ruslan is not completely happy to see that it's Cody who comes out. Cody is indeed the one who can possibly take down the shielder the quickest, but that means Ruslan will go with the rest of the team in the counterattack following the neutralization of the shield. That is a problem for him, not because he doesn't want to do it, but because he's not in the tunnel and is suffering difficulty coming back inside due to the suppression fire. Hence, he doesn't know the team's plans right now.

Katherin wished Ruslan would come back. She didn't like anyone being off by themselves. Cody would have little problems with his assignment to take out the shielder. Only problem was that Katherin wasn't sure what would happen after he successed. So many possibilities opened up that she was nearly dizzy with them.

Ruslan decides to come back to the tunnel, barely going unscratched. He had to move some bullets away from him, and with only a few metres between the area just outside the shield and him, that was not an easy job since there was only a fraction of a second of time window for each bullet within which he can move it away from him. As soon as he's some way inside so that those outside won't see him, he gets back visible. "I can't get past the shield. I can go around the shield but it won't help Cody at all, it'll take too much time," he said to Katherin. "Have you guys discussed any plans while being inside?" he continued.

Pride had both his pistols in his hands "no we haven't" he stays in cover waiting for that shield to go down so he could fire, but right now he had to be patient.

"I thought you guys did something other than waiting, at least you're praying that Cody succeeds," Ruslan said. The fate of a whole team hanging on one man is never a good idea, but for now there is indeed not much they can do.

"Cassie is going to divide you guys into teams. See if anyone can find a way through this." Katherin said with a smile. She felt better having the group all together. "Cody should be back soon with the shield down. Then we need to move fast. Roxy you should steal us one of their troop carriers."

Roxy looked at Katherin questionly She was alittle unnerved by the fact that the precog's knowledge of her skills. Stealing a carrier wouldn't be easy, but it was definitely doable. Something like that should hold everyone comfortably. With the shield down she could use her ability to camouflage to get close enough to hotwire a car. The problem was as soon as she started the carrier the enemy would know exactly where she was. "You guys are going to have to be ready to book it if I try something like that."

Pride looked at one of the carriers "me and Sam can cover you" Sam smiles "its better than waiting here I guess" Sam pulls his rifle off his shoulder

"I'll head at as soon as the shield is down. It should only take me a couple minutes to hotwire one." Roxy stated confidently. She was confident that Sam and Pride could provide her cover without hitting her. She hoped no of the enemy had thermal imaging.

Hearing what Katherin said, Ruslan's worries over whether Cody will finish his job are starting to be swept away. Such confidence from someone possessing precognitive ability is sure to spread quickly to the rest of the team. His concern now is on which team will he be, and what will be his duty once the team attempts their escape from the tunnels.

Cody moved under the shield. It was easy to find the one who was creating ghe sheild. He was protected by others. No matter. Cody slipped past them in the shadows, barely making a noise until he got behind the shielder. "Hi" he said, and then stabbed him through the heart. He stumble back from just how gruesome it was, whimpered.

Cassie moved forward as soon as the man was down, throwing out her arms, pushing the men away from Cody as they advanced on him. He had fallen out of the shadows, and appeared to be in mild shock. "Move!" Cassie yelled to them all.

"Watch out!" Sintara yelled as what appeared to be an arrow came flying threw the air at Cassie. She flung out a hand to freeze it, but was too late. The arrow took Cassie through the shoulder, causing her to crash to the ground, and she cried out in pain. Moe growled, and took off in the direction the arrow had come from.

Cassie groaned, rolling over, trying to sit up, "no! Moe!" But the dog didn't listen, didn't come back, wanting to protect her.

Roxy took off as soon as the shield disappeared. So much for organization she thought. It only took a few minutes to made her way to the carrier. Fortunately the carrier was empty because everyone was swarming poor Cody. Luck was with them because the keys had been left in the ignition. Roxy started up the carrier hand drove towards where Cody had fallen.

Liz want to rush out and grab Cassie and Cody. Poor Cody appeared to be in shock. Poor guy was probably having flashbacks. But she need to make sure Katherin stayed out of the line of fire.

Katherin knew their sketchy plan had blown up in their places. While Cody had succeeded in his task he had also thrown himself out of the shadows and wasn't moving. Katherin knew Liz was feeling the pull of her friends injuries. She wasn't going to be able to resist helping them much longer. So Katherin grabbed her sisters hand and began making her way to Cassie.

Pride looked around it was total chaos "go protect your brother"

Sam didn't need another word he was at his brothers side picking off any person that came to close. He shot a few soldiers who were stupid enough to get close he wanted no one close to him.

Cody shook his head "I...I'm okay..." But he was shaking, hands covered in blood. "I killed a man"

Cassie managed to stand, grimaced, and held out her good arm, "I'm going to get my damned dog" she said starting off to where Moe had run

"Cody listen to me not a lot of people kill for the right reason but you killed for the right reason." Sam had to make sure no soldier would get close.

Roxy stopped beside Cody and Sam. "Get in! We need to grab the twins before Katherin gets somebody killed. That woman needs to stay put. "

Upon Cassie's instruction, Ruslan begins moving towards the carrier. The first thing he does once he's out of the tunnel is stretching his hands, concentrates, and breaks the rifles of the people who are supposed to shoot at them. That way, the team receives minimal resistance on their way to the carrier. He didn't notice the arrow coming, though, and he was surprised to see Cassie falling. "Where does that come from?" he asks loudly.

Cody was silent, staring st his hands. He had killed before, as Shadow. He didn't much like killing as Cody. He looked over at Roxy but said nothing.
