"You people are crazy." Liz said as she laid her hand on Pride's arm. Luckily he had only been grazed by the bullet so the healing didn't take a lot of energy.

Katherin would have missed the secret tunnel if she hadnt been holding Ruslan's hand. She heard Liz fussing at the others. "Breath Liz it's only going to get crazier. Now that we have a nice lull we should take advantage of that."

Roxy was glad to see Liz healing Pride. They needed all their fighters at 100%. She decided to head outside. Pride said they were clear but she would feel better if she could verify that for herself. Roxy stuck her knife outside and used the reflective surface to get a glimps of what was outside.

Pride shakes his head, "looks like they didn't think anyone to find this way out but it's not hard if you have infrared vision sometimes I'm glad to have it the roads clear." Pride hides both his pistols under his shirt then grab his sunglasses and puts them on while there on he can see in color.

Cody popped out of the shadows in front of Roxy, "two cats, a handful of people. Maybe gifted" he said

Sintara pushed forward, "ill freeze them" but when she went to, it didn't work

"Shield" Cassie said

"Two cats? What the heck are you talking about? Since Sintara cant freeze them we're going to have to take out any hostiles. Roxy exits the tunnel not bothering to hide her knives. But no one move. A couple people turned towards her but nobody moved. The lack of movement made Roxy more nervous."

[Drakon rilt]

Pride saw something coming their way, "get down!" He tackled roxy and he heard a gunshot.

Sam was the first to react he shot the guy with the gun he wounded him enough he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.

"Dude! You really need to stop tackling me." Roxy scolded Pride. She never had some protect her. She wasn't sure how to handle it. "We can't stay here while they take pop shots at us all day. Any suggestions?"

[Drakon rilt]

Pride gets up "sheesh sorry but I don't have any ideas on where to go." He looks around nothing seemed to get his attention for now.

As soon as the first gunshot was heard, Ruslan gets down. He wishes he was any good with guns, but he isn't. And with the adversary continously firing at them, he can't just come out and take the adversaries one by one. He starts worrying that these are just suppression fire; shots that are meant to prevent the team's movement buy time until the real 'executors' can come close to them and finish them off.

"Can you get through the shield?" Cassie asked Cody, who shrugged

"Let's see shall we?" And he disappeared

Roxy took a deep breath. Sorry that she had growled at Pride. He was just doing wait he was trained to do. It wasn't his fault that she had issues with being touched. "Sorry. I'm not use to people saving me. I was trying to draw their fire and did. You saved me from injury or worse."

"We could steal a school bus." Katherin suggested with a giggle. "There are more further out. The shielder needs to be taken out, he's in a building with an amplifier. Someone needs to take him out. We have time but not much."

After saying his prayers, Ruslan turns invisible and tries his luck. "I'm going out to try breaking the deadlock, now hold onto someone else," he told Katherin as he goes out and tries to follow Cody, trying to inform Cody of the shielder's location and take down the shielder. Upon getting out, fortunately he isn't getting shot at, at least not yet. He then looks around, and discovers that to reach the building Katherin referred to, he has to walk past a roadblock.

Pride shakes his head "no problem," but there's an edge to his voice. He had to keep his head straight he couldn't let his guard down not for a second.

Cody slipped past the shield easily. You couldn't stop the shadows. He grinned, spinning back to the others

Liz frowned at Roxy and Pride she didn't know what their problem was but now wasn't the time for it. "Guys Let's focus you can growl at each other later. We're currently surrounded by a shield and surrounded by an unknown number of enemies. I knew at least 4 of you are ex-military. How about working together to get out of this before the start launching garnades or something at us!"

Upon seeing Cody slipping through the shield, Ruslan tries to get past it too. No one knows what can get through this and what can't, so let's just try, he thought. However, he seems to hit something when he didn't expect one, akin to people hitting glass walls when they think the walls weren't there. In that second he knows he cannot get through the shield and has to get around it. He then walks away from it, heading to reach the building from the opposite side.

For the moment, that is the right decision, because seconds after that, the attackers start firing on the location where Ruslan made the contact with the shield. Apparently whoever deployed the shield knows about his contact with the shield and relayed the information to the rest of the attackers. Although he cannot do what Cody did, at least the opening of the tunnel isn't fired at, and even if it's fired at, he can now help stop the bullets; while at the tunnels, he can't stop them because he can't look at them.

Cassie stepped forward, "stand down. Lets figure this out" she said, wishing she had thought to get everyone working together in the break they had had before this attack. She petted Moe on the head, thinking.

"Some one needs to stay with katherine, and liz unless you want to fight" she said, just as Cody appeared next to her

"Cant stop the shadows" he said happily

she blinked, then continued "we get the shield down, and attack, in teams. Take them out, find some way of getting awsy" she looked around at them all

"Who has what weapoms?"

"I'll stay with Katherin. I don't want to fight if I don't have to, but I can defend my sister." Liz went to where Katherin was standing. She wished she had a weapon.

"Here take my fighting knife." Roxy offered a large sharp knife to Liz. "Anyone gets too close poke them with the pointed end. I've got 4 throwing knives on me."

Despite intending to reach the building from its rear, Ruslan does not immediately walk there. He waits, while remaining unseen, hoping that some members of the team have the guts to come out of that tunnel. Cody should tell them some good news. Probably after that, more will come out, he thought. He would prefer to defeat the shield together rather than alone, although he will do so alone if eventually no one comes out of the tunnel.

"I can get through" Cody said, "but I cant do much else. If I attack, they will know I am there"

"Can you take the shielder out quickly? If you can shadow there, stab him, the disappear it won't matter if they know someone's there." Roxy asked
