Another year in Heartshine was surely going to be exciting. She had a gut feeling that it would be a lot more fun now more than ever. It was her last year and she wanted to leave a legacy - well, aside from being the only one who was ever in a male's uniform within Heartshine that is. Hm, maybe breaking the record of most demons taken down within the year would suffice. Yeah, she bet that will.
One of the fun things of being a returning student was the fact that you could get back to school from summer early. She had arrived there a week before the first day and already got her room assignment. Sadly, it would seem that she has a new roommate. Well, considering that her previous one graduated last year, she should have expected it. Well, she'd just have to get to know her better. She looked at the paper that was given to her to show the room assignments. Melissa Smith - certainly a name not from her year. She has heard of her though, and does know what she looks like. Her power was mainly music, and it was fun to watch her train.
She had that habit - stopping with her own training to watch her underclassmen. It was more admiring their powers than assessing them, but she recently added that to the agenda as well. She was often reprimanded whenever she stopped for a long time, where it didn't even seem like a break anymore. Sometimes, it even ended up with her stopping while in a spar and end up tanking a hit she should have been able to dodge with ease. This also ends up with a disapproving look from her teacher. "Stop getting distracted. You'll kill yourself." They would often tell her. She knew they were right but it's not like she did it while on a real battlefield. She at least had common sense.
Seeing as the new students were arriving one by one, she headed down and to the main entrance. This was going to be the last batch of students she would see before she graduated... unless she came back as a teacher. It seemed right to do so but she promised her father that she would at least try for the military. A magical girl would be able to help a lot of people evacuate in times of war and whatnot. She supposed she would have to enter JSDF first. That would sate her father's wants.
"Hiya Prof!" She greeted with a big smile on her face.
"Oh, my bad, Headmistress now right?" Yuki had always regarded her as a teacher because that was what she was for the majority of Yuki's stay here. She then chucked.
"Doesn't really roll of the tongue, better get used to it huh?"Yuki then gazed towards the incoming students, eyes shimmering with excitement as she did. She could see Professor Angel Heart, a real mouthful really, talking to another student. Valerie was it? The gravity girl.
"I feel like it's going to be an exciting year Headmistress. I just hope it won't be too hard on you; it being your first year and all." She grinned at her but still kept a lookout for her roommate.
