Tiberius couldn't speak the language of these people, a problem he could not remedy easily. Tiberius now stood facing them, anxious to keep going, what if there was other people in the city being assaulted by such creatures? They just gave him strange looks from the huddle they now stood in. Tiberius could only assume that they were discussing what to do with him, he had saved their lives, but couldn't speak their language which probably heightened their suspicions. In fact, Tiberius probably looked incredibly strange to them. He towered over the tallest member in the party, wore armor that they did not and had the best posture they had probably ever seen. By all accounts he looked like a foreigner in a place he shouldn't be and that terrified him.

After a heated debate between another, the guardsmen broke and the same one from earlier came forward, looking nervous. He gestured to himself and said, "Dramner." His name perhaps? Tiberius then said Dramner aloud and the guardsmen pointed at himself again with a smile. Then the guardsmen grabbed his helmet and pulled it off, then gestured again at Tiberius. The knight quickly caught on that they wanted to him to take his helmet off, so he obliged. They were met with the stern gaze of a man, his long brown hair blew softly in the wind. Seemingly satisfied, Dramner put his helmet back on and glanced back at the others, they gave approving looks and some words. Tiberius then put his helmet back on and waited.

Next Dramner pulled out his sword and then another guardsmen came up to him, and Dramner gave him his sword. Then looked at Tiberius. They wanted him to give them his sword, his only weapon in this new world. He was extremely hesitant, not only of loosing the sword but the fact they seemed to be in a battle of sorts and didn't want to be unarmed. The guardsmen shifted uneasily, but Tiberius undid the sheathe that carried it, and handed it over without protest. Dramner bowed and said something, two guards walked behind him, two others began to walk ahead. Dramner waved at Tiberius to follow. Reluctantly he obliged, and was led deeper into the unknown. Tiberius didn't like the idea of not having his sword ready, but Dramner carried it, so it was relatively close if he needed it but for now he would go along with them. After all, it was not in his nature to cause a scene and start something if he didn't have to.

Tiberius was slightly unsettled at the damage the city had taken from the stone men, as he called them, his walk the guards even took him to an area that looked like it had been completely obliterated. Like a giant foot had just come down and flattened a whole area. It made him feel sick to his stomach that wanton destruction could occur with no one able to stop it. Other parts of the city fared better and he began to see people, all of which stared at him. Some of them looked angry, others looked at him with curiosity and others... Well, others looked at him with a great sadness in their eyes. Tiberius pitied them all, whatever happened had not been easy on the people.

Eventually the small group came to a building that guardsmen stood in front off, most looked battered in their own way but they stood and chatted with one another still. As they approached the gates, all eyes came upon him again and the leading guardsmen parted as a larger man approached, wearing a red patch on his uniform. Dramner had a brief discussion with the man, who looked him up and down, then they all began to walk up the steps to the building. Tiberius could only assume this was their barracks of sorts. Someone inside must be in charge of this lot and would want to know about him. Then it was anyone's guess what they would do with him.

As soon as they entered, the guard with the red patch broke off from Dramner and Tiberius was led in the opposite direction. He found himself face to face with a cell. Dramner stopped outside of it and motioned for Tiberius to go inside. Panic gripped the Knight's heart, he did not want to be confined to such a place, unable to do anything. Begrudgingly he realized he had no choice but to step in and await his fate. So he did so, and the door shut behind him with a click. Tiberous turned around to see Dramner with a sad expression on his face, before the guard and the others walked away, leaving Tiberius alone.

Alone.

He remembered in that moment, that he hated to be alone.

Kiera was elated when she was starting out, even though seeing someone's gastrointestinal tract was a little bit weird. Not to mention after the whole disease thing, she could swear some of the crew members were shooting daggers at her, but even though half of the crew would kill her if they had the chance, Dessa's lessons were very informative and taught her some things she never learned about.

"Now you try it. Transfer two heating spells into a memory spell and see what happens. It should make a little pop when activated." Dessa said. Kiera smirked to herself. This was no sweat. She drew two heating circles and then a memory circle. She dipped both hands into the heating circles, watching them glow and evaporate the suds. After that, she dipped her hands into the memory circle. She thought she would hear a pop, but nothing happened. Did she mess up? "Um Dessa, I did exactly what you did, but memory circle didn't evaporate the suds and make a pop noise. Did I do something wrong?"

Sykes frowned as he muttered under his breath. "Not much, just maybe nearly dying in a crash and being trapped in permafrost from centuries while i was recovering from damage on vital brain areas." The mysterious ranger muttered under his breath, his fists still tense. His eyes kept themselves locked on the Reaper at all times, even when the fool decided to discuss some things with the King. Money, power, Glory... what did it all mattered?

If only they knew...

He didn't, however spare a second heartbeat when Reaper jested marriage. "Rest assured, people don't marry crazy." He said to his acquaintance. He scowled visiblely when the repugnant creature wished to speak with Reaper in private. Maybe it was an old experiment? He could not be sure. He felt vexed. Betrayed. And angry. But he stood his hand, and allowed them to play their games.

Was there something else? Oh right, the fool. He was speaking to him, still awaiting an answer. Ravadon, was his name?

"I am Lord Nobody of Whogivesaf*ck. Bow before me." He answered, shaking his head, when something caught his attention.

That Mark... His visage contorted as he bit his lip so hard that he drew blood. He took heavy steps, heading not long after the Reaper and the mutant had left.

He kicked the door open, his eyes glaring with the fury of thousands of years in the making, and he moved fast, closing the gap before the two could react. His face was red, and his neck tense, hallmarks of rage. Out of nowhere his hand shot up and seized the one known as Reaper by the neck.

"Permafrost. Five f*cking centuries. Brain damage. And when I come to my senses, I see you're consorting with mutants, listening to petty kings, and squandering our gifts liberally." He boomed. "Tell me why I shouldn't strip you of your power and rank and send you back to the Court like the traitor you are."

Isabella was, as she had given up with batting the dragon with her sword, curious. Why her? Why would a great fire breathing dragon decide that "Yup, this is the day. I'll capture the hopeless, runaway princess and her equally lifeless sister. It's going to be a blast!"

She shook her head, seemingly at a loss for words. As she took in the rivers speeding by her feet she remembered a distant memory, something she'd kept hidden in the back of her brain for so long.

Her mother, on leave from some trip or other sat with her on her lap. They were watching the men fish, some had already given up on rods and waded into the rivers, grabbing and laughing at the slippery quicksilver that darted to and fro in the water. She got up off her mother's lap, ready to waddle in and play with the men before her mother's quick arms reached around her and drew her back.
"Not yet, my dear. You're destined for great things, fishing not being one"
"But mom!" Isabella wailed. She'd always "been destined for great things" but sometimes she just wanted to play. What was the harm in that?
"My dear, you're part of the royal family. These men are not."
Isabella started crying then, not understanding why there had to be restrictions between classes. She had just wanted to play.
"Shush. Your father would not allow it, darling. But maybe some time else...when we are away perhaps?" Her mother smiled down at her, a faint twinkle in her eye.
Isabella giggled through her tears. It was all going to be alright.

But now she was going away. Away from the stable hands, the men who joked and laughed as she talked to them, the handmaidens who often would sit gossiping for so long that a concubine herself had to come in. She missed them all now, terribly. She had not really been away from home and if she was, she had been surrounded by company. However, now she was all alone, drifting in the sky with her lifeless sister barely hanging onto a thread of her former self.

If the dragon had noticed anything, it might've been the sagging of her shoulders and the sudden limpness that took over her. It was a hopeless case.
