Name: Maximillian
Age: 38
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Origin: Evil Genius-variant of Earth
Objectives: Conquering the world, whether Earth or this new one. Everything will be his, and everyone will bow to him.
Temperament: Arrogant and prone to petty insults.
Affiliation: His own evil organization.
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Background: Embarked on a campaign of evil across the world with the end-goal of conquering it. Over the course of this campaign, his army of minions and team of henchmen faced off against the world's alliances of justice and their most dangerous agents. His grand plan was nearing completion when his entire organization was swept away to this new world.
Skills:
- Plotting: Max is always on the lookout for opportunities to expand his influence and strengthen his power base, and he has grown quite adept at spotting chances others would miss.
- Industrialist: Max's background in industry has left him with a strong understanding of how efficient research and manufacturing will advance his agenda.
-Recruitment: There's always malcontents and socially unacceptable individuals happy to sign on for their chance to strike back at the world around them, and Max knows just how to convince them to join his army of minions.
- Back from the Dead: No matter how many minions are slain, unless Max himself is killed, the organization will eventually recover. It may take months, or even years, but Max has both the will and the means to try again and again for world conquest. That said, losing henchmen is a permanent, crippling blow.
Abilities:
- Undying: Named henchmen are exceedingly difficult to put down for sure. Solid proof of their death is needed to ensure they aren't merely in hiding and waiting for their chance to rejoin the ranks of Max's forces.
- For Science!: Max's team of scientists are truly gifted in their capacity to unlock the secrets of new technology. As an example, by applying a few formulas from one of their chalkboards to materials run through their Stress Impact Analyzer, they managed to produce a highly practical nuclear power generator.
- Enhanced Interrogation: Many are the ways an evil genius can torture his captives, and, when their life is on the line, even the exceptionally strong-willed give up the information Max is after.
Equipment: (I hesitate to call them "equipment", but Henchmen are so unique and specialized, that I feel their abilities need to be defined.)
- Jubei: The ronin-turned-bodyguard. Jubei is always where his master needs him to be, and as such he is able to teleport short distances, but only once or twice a day. In addition, he knows the first strike is the most important, so his initial slash is always his strongest, able to put down most weaker enemies instantly. He also makes some damn-good sushi.
- Dr. Neurocide: Cosmetics and Bioweapons expert. The good doctor acts as Max's head of research and, when forced to fight, she has two preferred concoctions. First is a potent hallucinogen powder kept in her compact that deludes anyone in the area of effect into believing that there's nothing amiss, even if faced with a minion hit-squad. Next is her Poisonous Parfum por Homme, her favorite perfume that quickly renders those caught in the cloud unconscious, allowing her to escape or for them to be captured.
- Colonel Blackheart: Huntsman and gentleman. The Colonel and his pet monkey Pendragon are hunters, but by no means sportsmen. He's not above laying fields of traps specifically designed to injure and slow all manners of beasts and even fellow men. Pendragon is no slouch either; the feisty chimp is known for his love of explosives and will gleefully throw them at whatever dares to threaten the Colonel.
- Lord Kane: The conspirator extraordinaire. He is responsible for the greatest tragedies known to man, highlights including the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and the sinking of the Titanic (though he claims that was an accident). Kane is exceedingly convincing, and is able to assure his enemies of both their mistaken assumptions of the evil organization's activities, and of their imminent demise, terrifying them into submission. The strong-willed or very clever might see through his deception, however.
- Montezuma: Voodoo practitioner and gumbo master. Montezuma is a rather jovial, if morbid member of Max's organization. His skill in voodoo magic is such that with but a few moments of preparation, he can control the weak-willed like puppets, or put them in a trance, wiping their recent memories and convincing them that they have accomplished whatever they set out to do.
- Eli Barracuda: The gangsta in a nice suit. Once the head of New York's underworld, Eli was forced into hiding and eventual employment by Max when he publicly shot the mayor for getting wine on his cream-colored suit. Even now, Eli remembers that moment, and the rage, fresh as ever, allows him to make a single, devastating shot with his revolver by picturing the mayor's face over his target's, but, afterwords, he needs the rest of the day to cool down. Also, Eli loves to groove, and carries around a special boombox with a hypnotic track in it that forces the weak-willed to dance to the funky groove until he switches it off or something breaks up the party, like gunshots.
- The Matron: A darling little sadist. A diminutive old lady that could easily be mistaken for someone's grandmother. For the most part, she very much acts the part, pinching the other henchmen's cheeks and nagging Max to eat properly and brush his teeth. Her motherly side helps everyone to function at their best. However, she has a propensity for electro-shock therapy that resulted in her cutting off her arthritic left hand and replacing it with a high-voltage cattle-prod which can send out a pulse strong enough to arc a few feet into multiple victims.
