Pallet Town is a small settlement; compared to others, the town is lacking in several departments; however, it does keep a satisfactory job as a settlement. People find food and a roof over there heads. Despite other conditions, Pallet Town is way better than traveling out in the open. It does its job as a safe oasis.

A few critical issues do stand, but citizens just have to overlook them in order to get by. Fretting over them will only lead to dramatic trouble. There are too many problems and fighting will only fuel the fire. These problems consist of small rations of food and water. Pallet Town does not have many citizens, but the place is overcrowded given the small vicinity.

The place does not have any attraction. Small puddles of radioactive waste are common. This goes the same for hookers and beggars. A worthy challenge if you can get to one side to the other without being asked for a fun time or for some food scraps. The biggest annoyance is the cult following in the middle. A small group of protesters gathers around the center of the town to voice their opinions on their new found religion. It is common for the Week of Hell is the cause of almost 50 new religions.

Most of the buildings or shelters are built on stilts. Even then, the wall surrounding Pallet Town is incredibly high. No normal human could possibly jump over it without some serious leg power. The walls are formed by different scraps of metal; it is durable against the creatures on the outside. All in all, Pallet Town is a tolerable place to live in.

A band of men constantly guard the gate during night and day. They are led by a hyper-macho enforcer. If anything, the man is the living embodiment of the law. Though he means good, he does not allow anyone to leave Pallet Town without his permission. Only the men in his pocket are allowed to scavenge for materials or visit the outside.

There are a few buildings of interest. A small pharmacy is located in the center of town. Another building is a storage place where citizens go to collect their hard-earned rations. The best hang-out spot would have to be the restaurant. A bar is on the outside and does have a local radio which serves as the town's main source of entertainment. Inside the restaurant, people can buy more food if rations have not fully filled them.

Jonathan McCallen

Jonathan woke up abruptly. His eyes adjusted to the dim lighting of the town. It had been relatively early in the morning, probably a result of his training back when the world hadn't gone to hell yet. He rubbed his eyes, rubbing the leather mask that covered his face instead. Unfortunately, it didn't not do the trick and he had to blink a lot of times before sighing. He rose from the rug-like bed that has been one of the few luxuries this place had and then picked up his metal pipe. Testing its weight again and feeling as if he was carrying a feather, he nodded to himself.

Recently, he hasn't been granted access to the outside world. He's been a traveler for a while so when he attempted to exit the town, he was surprised when the guards practically pushed him back inside. The man who led the police force told them specifically that he needed his permission. Finding no opening to talk to him, Jonathan decided that maybe he'll just stay here for a while until he gets that opening. He wasn't very happy about it at first but he has gotten around to talking with the other residents. He has yet to visit the half-spider girl from that store. He figured that she was somehow like himself so he wanted to talk to her about it but Jonathan didn't know what was the perfect time to actually approach her.

"Spare some change for a poor old beggar?"

Jonathan looked over to the old man who had his hands outstretched towards him. Jonathan blinked and frowned, finding himself at a mental impasse. On one hand, he wanted to help the beggar out; on the other hand, he had little money left. While he looked at him with confusion, the old man only saw Jonathan looking down on him. Spitting on his suit, the old man said, "Well fuck you too." The old beggar stomped out of the way and Jonathan was left in absolute confusion on what had transpired. Jonathan felt sorry for the old guy and had wanted to chase after him but just continued on. Hopefully, they don't make him do anything through the use of force. He didn't like hurting anybody.

He found himself near a pool of radioactivity to get his fill. He sat down beside it and watched as people went by. They already grew accustomed to Jonathan being near one of the many radioactive pools in Pallet Town. In fact, they generally left him alone after he explained that he needed it. After a while of absorbing radioactivity and just generally resting, he stood up and began to wander around. After all, the famous hang-out spots Pallet Town offers are generally for those who actually eat. While Jonathan would want to eat, he doesn't exactly have a way to do so. How very unfortunate. Maybe he should talk to that leader now; he needed to go to 'The End' to see what he can find out there.

Catherine

Catherine woke to a few beams of light peeking through her roof. she used her stool as a makeshift pillow and her rug bed as a blanket. If anyone saw how she slept they would be worried about her back posture, it was not good to say the least. As she lazily looked around her home various web sculptures mounted on shelves. She slowly started standing up taking the rug off her back and folding it up ready to store it in her lone chest up that back. Her home was more crowded then most this was due to her fairly large size, but she manages not to knock anything over despite having eight legs to worry about. She yawned as she opened her chest and stored her rug in it, she then got her fluffy stool and changed into one of her many white short sleeve V necks. Ready to go outside to grab her rations.

She then made sure her hair was in order before twitching as she saw a cockroach walking on her wall, she took a deep breath and then after a brief moment of silence she jammed one of her pointed fingers through it. Her abdomen shivered as the cockroach wiggled it's legs helplessly, a wicked grin now covered her face. The grin was only brief she the quickly flicked the cockroach off of her finger
"Aranea..." she whispered to herself with a slightly bitter tone. Catherine then looked away from the suffering insect and walked out her front door with the usual difficulty. God your butt is way to big. snarled Aranea's wicked voice. Catherine seemed unperturbed and got out of her front door.

Today was a new day in this town she called home. It wasn't the prettiest place but after the Week of Hell there was basically no pretty places left. Catherine tried to find beauty in everything or at least a slightly less ugly side of everything. She then headed off to get rations preferring to do so early in the morning when less people were about. Sure she wanted to make friends but by now she'd learned that most of the resident's weren't keen on making friends with a two faced bitch.

Honey

Honey had woken up a couple of hours before dawn. She spent that time picking up her camp, preparing to set off for the day, and cooking her breakfast. She had found a squirrel near her camp and skewered its head with a piece of an iron fence. Setting a small fire, she roasts the little creature until it turns dark and eats it in almost 2 bites. "It seems like squirrel meat gets better and better everytime", Honey says to herself as she watches the first rays of sun breaking into the sky.

In the early morning hours Honey gathers her sack and double checks to make sure her things were still there. Ok, Honey, Breathe.... She regains her calmness once she can see her prized posessions still with her, and she looks off in the distance. If she squints her eyes, she can see vague shapes of buildings behind the mass of trees. This must be Pallet Town she thinks to herself. She wonders if this is the place her sister escaped to. In the back of her mind she is doubtful, but Honey shakes the thought away and starts walking towards the small town.

Honey arrives at the edge of the town and immediately sees the band of men protecting the scrappy metal wall that surrounds the town. She sizes up the protection and ultimately decides she can't safely sneak in without being attacked by the men. She sighs heavily in agitation, and walks up to the armed men. "Hellooo??? Anyone there?" Honey shouts up to the men and waves to get their attention.

Prudence Olivia

A shadow casting itself on the sundial marked the new days time as 6am. Olive sat at her makeshift desk, built of cardboard and tincans and not much of a sturdy place to set things. The desk did it's job though, it was somewhere that Olive could sit and read, or contemplate her next projects. The set up was against the longest wall of her tiny shack, her table taking up the corner where a window and wall met. Making it the perfect spot for sunlight, daydreaming, and people watching. Pulling her legs up to her chest and resting her chin between her kneecaps, she reached for a piece of charcoal and made another tally on the wall by her head."48 hours.." She'd say outloud, reminding herself of time moving on. It had been 2 days since the last time Olive had slept or eaten. This happened sometimes, it was a roller coaster for her. She'd be okay, her days filled with learning new skills from long ago scholars then she'd binge on literature and expierments and find herself still awake a week later on her 20th motherboard made out of meat byproduct and aluminum foil. It was what she called her manic phase, where she couldn't stop creating no matter how hard she tried to leave it alone. This 2 day episode was no different, only it was. Olive had fucked up. For the first time in 15 years. In the process of creating skin grafts from different flora, she had accidentally killed the only flower that successfully stayed alive in this poisonous wasteland. It was just a flower but it died under her care, she had stripped it of it's petals and stems, then accidentally watered it with radioactive goop. Olive felt tired, signaling the end of another manic session. Grasping at the vase of the now dead plant, she'd push open the window and dump its contents down on to the road beneath. She'd leave the window open, letting the sunshine in for the day as she made her way to sleep. The bed in question being that of a soft pad on the floor, covered with blankets she'd collected over the last few years. Torn and dirty but well loved. That was basically everything Olive owned, old and well loved.
"Good morning, and goodnight world.." Olive would murmur as she pulled the nest of blankets around her face and fell into a deep slumber, while the rest of the world was just waking.

Current Location: Pallet Town - Interacting With: No One

Waking up in the morning was the easy part. There was no 9-5 job to wake up for, no school to attend... just silence that allowed Rin to sleep in much longer than she should've been sleeping. Like most in Pallet Town, Rin had a house to herself, although her furnishings were light just as the same it was everywhere else. Crawling out of the makeshift bed allotted to her, Rin rubbed her eyes. The helmet Rin called home for so long rested on the pillow beside her, carefully shined to keep it clean and comfortable. It was roomy and breathable, yet perfect enough for Rin to hide her face from the denizens of Pallet Town.

A tugging in the back of her mind had always left Rin afraid of what the others might think if they could matched her face to the awkward stuttering that came forth from behind the mask. Would they laugh, poking fun at Rin like she was a jester? Whatever the case was, Rin was too embarrassed to find out. After adjusting her hair for a second, Rin slipped the helmet over her head and went to get ready for the day. Dressing herself was nothing special, as Rin didn't have many outfits to choose from. She could probably fit into anything given to her due to her small frame, but Rin wasn't about to lower herself to begging--not today.

In any case, Rin needed breakfast. Unlike a majority in Pallet Town, she was just an average human that needed to eat. Stepping out the door, Rin started to walk towards the only diner in the entire town itself. Along the way, Rin spotted a large spider-woman, and as well an odd masked fellow sitting down by a pool of radiation. They were different than everyone else, but so was everyone else, and therefore Rin didn't pay much attention to them. The Week of Hell allowed for some crazy things to happen, and Rin wouldn't be surprised if pigs were truly flying now. Mmm... pig. The thought of it made Rin crave some old pork miso soup.

"Ugh, are you serious?" Roman lifted his head and squinted his eyes. A beam of sunlight landed on his face from one of the open windows. The kid sat up and rubbed the gunk out of his eyes. Flipping over the blanket, he immediately made sure that no bugs climbed into his mattress.

Roman tugged on his hair and abruptly yelled into his hands. He certainly did not become satisfied with his sleep. Two more hours would have been efficient. Sleeping in the apocalypse never got easier for him. The lumpy mattress covered in dust and strange stains worked better than the cold floor. Bugs somehow would still climb on and bite him, but he could only ignore it.

Martin stood to his feet and climbed on his mattress. Dusting the blanket off, he carefully folded it and laid it on top of his deflated pillow. Stretching out his arms and yawning, he headed over to the sink in the corner. Fortunately, there was a bucket full of bathing water under the sink. Roman utilized the water to bathe his face over the sink; he made sure to get the grease out of his hair.

"Well, I wonder what the day has planned for me today," Martin smiled into the mirror and head out the door. His grumpy attitude slightly changed for the better. He heard from several townsfolk that he missed a significant radio broadcast. Knowing the radio stations usually repeat themselves, he jogged over to the center of the town to see if he could hear the message again. The boy never woke up enough on time to receive the morning show.

A couple of guardsmen hanging along the wall peered over. Most of them were not expecting new visitors. They scratched their heads and observed the young woman on the floor. The brute men rose to a civil conversation between themselves.

"What do we do? Do we let her in?"

"We can't let the bitch in without the boss! Where the hell is he?

"He went with the others to scavenge for supplies. He should be getting here soon. She doesn't look harmless."

"That's not what I am saying. She doesn't look like a bitch, but you never know. That's not the point. The boss isn't here."

"Well, we can't just leave her out there. She's going to attract zoms to the gate."

It is possible that Honey heard everything between the men. Then again, she might not have heard anything at all. All in all, it took five minutes of standing before she finally had someone respond to her directly.

"Hey, Shrimp! Okay, we'll let you in, but you can't go wandering off. Our boss ain't here yet to initiate you. He's going to be back in like 30 minutes or so." The guy spat. After a few sounds of gears and cranks, the gate opened outwards for Honey to slip inside.

A group of men waited for her to enter the other side in case she tried anything funny.

Yup, Honey heard everything those men said. What a piece of work those guys! she thought to herself. She shook her head, rolled her eyes, took a deep breath in... and slipped through the gate quietly. She wanted to shout at them but didn't want to attract any zombies, she was too smart for that. She walked into the town and first noticed the run-down look it had, with old rickety buildings that looked highly unsafe. She could tell that the town was mostly built after the apocolypse becaus of the makeshift infrastructure throughout the entire town. It looked entirely depressing, but she knew it was protected, and she needed to find out if her sister had been here.

Honey didn't want to look around too much, she'd wait for the grand tour with the "boss" of this whole opperation. She turned around to face the large men looking wearily and confused at her, "Listen guys, I'm not here to cause any trouble. I just want a place to sleep, I've been traveling for almost 2 months outside, and it'd be nice to have a little shelter." She walked over to an old post, and sat down, resting her back on it. "Well anyway, I'll just wait for the boss man to get here. Hey also, call me a bitch again and I'll gouge your eyes out."

Honey sat there thinking, Oh I hope this isn't a mistake, but it's all worth it for Stacy

Catherine

Catherine made her way to the ration vendor and got her supplies, she smiled and thanked the vendor as she turned to head back to her home. She loves the feeling of sunlight on her skin due to the lack of light she usually gets. She had heard that there was some interesting broadcast on the radio but she had missed it due to her less than liked status, Aranea had made an impression on a few to many people making life a little tricky sometimes. It's not easy having a split personality especially when it was Aranea. Catherine noticed the sound of the gates opening on her way back home. Suddenly she was filled with ecstasy and had decided to meet this newcomer, at least she hoped it was a newcomer. Please be a newcomer! Please be a newcomer! Please be a newcomer! It's probably just a scavenging team returning from out of town you idiot. Stop being so naive. Catherine slowed slightly but still continued towards the gate, Aranea might be a bitch but she had a point.

Catherine saw unusual activities going on and slowed even more she then spotted a new person leaning on a worn out post and her face lit up.
Oh my gosh someone new! Time to make a friend! ... Catherine walked towards the girl trying to look as friendly as a giant spider lady could. "H-hello! Welcome to Pallet Town! I've not seen you here before. A-am I wrong in assuming you're new here? If so I apologise." Catherine then bowed her head trying her hardest to make a good first impression on this possible friend.

Honey had just finished her speech that she thought was pretty convincing, when she noticed a tall girl with a spider body. Although Honey has seen the effects of the apocolypse before, she's never seen a spider-girl before and it took her by surprise. She didn't mean to show it, but her eyes got wide and she leaned back. She regained her composure quickly when a quiet voice came from the spider-girl. It seemed odd that a person mutated such like a huge spider could be timid. Honey found it even stranger though when the spider-girl bowed her head. Finally Honey decided to say something back, "Oh uh, yea I just got in. I've been traveling for a while and needed a place to stay." She turned around to face her lovely greeters, "Except these guys are giving me a hard time so I'm waiting before I can settle down I guess."

Honey looked the spider-girl up and down again, decided she didn't want to be her enemy, and stood up to shake her hand. "Oh and I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Honey, and you are?"

Jonathan McCallen

After a few words exchanged with others, telling him that bathing himself in radiation wasn't a good idea, Jonathan decided to leave the pool of radiation for the sole reason of not being disturbed by anyone anymore. As he walked around, he heard the scraping of the gates as they opened. He turned his head towards that general area to see someone entering. Well that was odd, was the big boss around here? It didn't seem like it. However, before he could welcome her here or protect her from the guards, he knows how pushy they can be, the spider girl had already made her way towards the new girl. Jonathan paused for a moment and thought about whether or not he should approach them. There was the fact that he already wanted to talk with the spider girl, as he always wanted to have another Wasted companion but he decided against it for now. He'll leave that for after.

Jonathan walked back to the town square. Apparently, there was an important message being broadcast earlier and he didn't notice it. Perhaps he had nodded off earlier before? He could just ask someone but he didn't know if they would respond all too kindly to the robotic sounding person. While it was assured that he wasn't a robot at all, since he had flesh and skin, there were people who didn't like approaching him mostly because he puts them off.

He looked at one of the guys waiting at the town square and then asked, "Has the radio broadcasted once more?" His robotic voice was already making itself known. He was pretty sure that this guy hasn't shown any disdain for him. Hopefully he was right.

Catherine covered her mouth as she was offered the hand then quickly shot her hand out to complete the handshake. "H-how rude of me. I'm Catherine! P-pleasure to meet you!" inside Catherine was secretly screaming with joy and if Aranea could roll her eyes she would be. She looked up at the guards and was puzzled not to see the boss, but she pushed that thought out of her head and crouched down a little to be a little less imposing. She had noticed Honey's initial reaction and tried her best to look less frightening. She both wanted and didn't want to tell Honey about Aranea but she had only just met the girl, she couldn't just throw information like that out right away. Eck...

Catherine let go of Honey's hand then looked behind her at the rest of the town."I think you're going to love it here! We have a radio and we have a ration vendor! Most of the people here are nice as well!" Catherine didn't mean the last one, but she wanted Honey to like the place. Then she could possibly stay for a while then they could be friends and they could spend time together. God you make me sick to the stomach sometimes... Catherine ignored Aranea and continued smiling at Honey.

Hm, nice? Honey didn't know if she believed that, it being the apocoplypse and all. She's noticed that people in general got cold and mean, and she'll admit that she's included in that. But Honey did perk up at the mention of a radio, maybe she could use it to find her sister!. She didn't want to sound too eager, so she cooly asked, "Do you think you can show me where this radio is?" Honey looked back to the men who had told her to stay right there, wishing that she could actually do something rather than sit around. She wanted more than anything to just sneak out and explore the town herself, but she knew she needed to play by some of the rules if she wanted to find her sister. She sighed and sat back down, "Well, I mean, after they let me go."

"Huh?" Martin turn around to the voice. After noticing the source, he stepped back a bit in shock. He certainly did not expect a masked individual behind him. The overall appearance of the guy forced Martin to put his hands up in self-defense. Even in a secluded place like Pallet Town, the teenager knew to keep his guard up at all times.

"Oh, wait. I know you," Martin dropped his arms to his side. He smiled and saluted the mysterious individual. The man did have a distinctive helmet compared to the citizens. Even then, the guy became known as a weirdo for his daily activities.

"You're that creepy guy who sits in radio waste all day," Martin grinned and stepped closer to the man. He stretched out his hand for a formalized greeting. Suddenly, he pulled away and began moving backward. "Wait, are you safe to touch? I'm been around some radioactive waste before, but I don't want to touch enough to cause any unwanted mutations.

Martin pulled on the collar of his shirt nervously. He might have made the conversation awkward with his rambling and speaking from his mind. "Hey, the radio is starting again! Let's check it out!" He attempted to change the conversation by pulling attention toward the static coming from the radio.

The group of men looked at each other. Their faces showed confusion; their eyebrows shifted to represent anger. They mumbled under their breath and began whispering. One of the men who spoken earlier took a few steps closer to the new arrival. He dragged a spiked baseball bat on the floor. Spitting near Honey's shoes, he grunted with frustration.

"Look, bitch," he established his greeting with the profanity by putting extra emphasis on it. He looked around at the others and smiled. The other men laughed finding the confrontation amusing. "I'm going to tell you one thing. Do not come in here and start making threats. You're not going to last."

The man turned his attention to the spider freak. She joined out of nowhere. The mere sight of her churned the guy's stomach. "Stick with this eight-legged female. Bitches need to flock together, right?" He laughed and hinted at Catherine's supposed nickname throughout the town. Another male figure joined the circle only to pull the man aside and whisper in his ear. The rude man nodded.

"A'ight, they see the boss outside. He'll be here in ten minues. Don't piss him off." The man turned around. He began making hand movements for the rest of the militia to open the gates.

Sounds of static first erupted from the radio. After a while, only a brief pause of silence came. Then finally, the noise of a mic turning on. "Hello, viewers. I apologize to those who missed the morning broadcast. Hopefully, those who were scavenging out for supplies or might have had zombie troubles are now able to listen to the recap." Everyone stopped eating and listened closely. Some of the individuals continued to go about their day as they heard everything that transpired in the morning.

"For those traveling, do not stop by Racoon City or Boston. Those settlements have offically died due to enemy forces. Traveling in these cities will only mean death. In other news, some people are trying to start a trend by wearing a blue bandana in order to show they are salesman. I am not sure if it's going to last, but if you see someone wearing a blue bandana, I guess they are friendly?" The spokesman started flipping through papers.

"Most importantly, there is a new settlement that has emerged. THE END, weird name, is supposedly accepting new citizens. They apparently are zombie and robot free. Food, water, and other supplies are available. Surprisingly, they are not racist toward other species or races of different colour. It's a rarity, haha. I also hear the settlement does have package goods which is hard to believe. This is officially the best safe haven out there, guys. I'll find more information out, but until then, here's another segment on "What I Miss From the Old Times.""

The radio cut off. Everyone abrupted into boos and laughter. They referred to THE END as nothing but a rumor. Nobody seemed to believe the spokesman and considered it far-fetched. "This is just a dream made by those who can't deal with this shit. Get out of here, man."

Catherine recoiled as the man with the bat came closer, she didn't like how he was speaking or acting but she knew better than to speak out against them. Aranea on the other hand was clawing for a moment of control so she could stab the prick in the stomach. Come on Catherine you know you want to let me out! Sure the guard was insulting Catherine and Aranea did that all the time, but that also in turn poked at her body that Aranea had to share and honestly kinda liked. Catherine's struggle could be seen as twitching on her left hand and right eye."R-really she can come with me!? Oh w-wonderful!"Catherine tried her best to smile at the guard as she finally managed to force Aranea down using the joy of being able to stay with her new friend. Her excitement dropped when she heard the boss was coming. She then looked at Honey. "Don't worry about me, I get this kind of stuff all the time. A-and it's not because I'm half spider." This is what Catherine believed, weather it was because of Aranea or that fact she was half spider she was not overly popular among the settlement. But she'd grown to accept it, tho this new girl seemed fine with her so far. She just had to make sure that Aranea didn't screw this up for her. Aranea felt these thoughts and enjoyed the fear she struck into Catherine.

Current Location: Pallet Town - Interacting With: No One

It was a short walk from Rin's small trash heap of a house to the diner with the one and only radio within the entirety of Pallet Town. As Rin arrived, it had seemed that there was already a large group forming around the radio like usual. Some were drunkards, but they were also eager to listen to what might be said on the radio. At first, it was the usual that the radio host was always explaining to the denizens of Pallet Town. Don't visit certain settlements; The new fads that people are trying out post-Week of Hell. However, this time around, the radio host had something special to announce before he signed off.

That is, a new place accepting citizens. A place supposedly zombie and robot free. The former of such a statement had led to Rin frowning. The place was slated to be a blessing in the middle of hell, yet there were no robots. Rin had been eager to help her long lost friend, but no one would want to help a robot when so many were willing to maul a human outside their settlements. Perhaps after--at the moment entirely hypothetical--travelling there Rin might luck out and find someone willing to help her, but was it worth it? It was slated to be the safest haven in a world of hell. Even the regulars of the diner didn't bother to believe in it, casting it aside like a rumor.

It made Rin wonder if there were any other people that felt the way she felt.

Honey raised an eyebrow at their obvious confusion and frustration. She stared the ugly man in the eyes as he inched the spiked baseball bat closer to her feet, not flinching. Smiling sweetly she thanked the man saying, "Oh that's nice of you, but you don't need to worry about me. I need to talk to Catherine for a bit, do'ya mind telling the boss I'll see him in a minute? Thank you!"

Honey turned to Catherine still smiling, but this one is genuine. She motioned her to crouch down so that she could whisper in Catherine's ear, "Hey y'know you don't have to take that from them. You look like you're about 10 times stronger than any of those guys anyways." She came back down from her tiptoes and this time asked in a normal voice, "So you have room in your place for me?" Honey knew Catherine's strength whether she or anyone else knew it, and Honey could sense that this was a good relationship. Sure she's a little odd and different, but she's nice enough and is offering a place in her house, and Honey wasn't about to make an enemy out of Catherine.

Honey stood around waiting for the boss to finally show up. Geez this guy is taking forever, I'm starting to regret even showing up to this stupid town. She took a deep breath in and remebered her reason for coming here and continued waiting for the boss to show up. Just remember, you're not here forever. Stick it out for just a little bit, and then you're out of here.

Catherine smiled at Honey as she seemed so on board with hanging around her. Most of the time she just got brief conversations or had to watch as Aranea did something cruel. but this time she got to talk with the nice person, she was very happy. She tilted her head as honey asked her to crouch down, she did of coarse and listened. Aranea liked what she was hearing but Catherine simply smiled and whispered back"They are here to protect us. Plus they are the ones who'll die first if we ever get raided! And you're dam right I could kick their asses!" Catherine covered her mouth and her eyes were a little wide with shock. "I'm sorry! I-I... I shouldn't say things like that..." Catherine then stood back up and waited a moment composing herself, "I do have a little room, but it would probably be very cramped..." Catherine put on a smile trying to cover up the little outburst Aranea just had, she was obviously nervous.

Catherine then sat down on the ground next to Honey being careful not to poke her with one of her sharp legs. She wanted to wait with her new friend just encase the Boss wasn't going to be that cooperative then she'd try and convince him to let her stay. Tho she wasn't sure her intervention would actually help if it came down to it. She tapped her fingers on one of her front legs.

Jonathan McCallen

Jonathan knew that his reputation wasn't very pretty in Pallet Town since they didn't know about his special conditions. Since he was deemed creepy by most and unhelpful by some, he wasn't exactly the best person to greet you from behind. The knee jerk reaction of the teenager to his appearance didn't surprise him so he kept a neutral expression within his mask... not that Martin would would see that or anything so it didn't really matter. However, he did listen.

"As far as I know, I'm safe to touch." He responded with a nod but made no move to shake the boy's hand. His body keeps radioactivity inside for energy consumption so technically, he wasn't going to exude any sort of toxic or harmful substances. Thought, he understood why people would be confused at that. However, he didn't think anyone had the power to suddenly mutate someone else just by physical touch... that or maybe he just never noticed since he was already a Wasted himself which meant that it wouldn't affect him in any way.

He turned to the broadcast and it repeated the news. Racoon City and Boston had fallen? That was bad. He used to have a small house in Boston but he guessed that was gone. Oh well, he wasn't about to risk life and/or limb just to get some things back. They weren't all that important anyway so he didn't care very much. Then there was the thing about salesmen wearing blue bandanas. He'd still have to be careful since a bandit might be disguising himself now. Jonathan knew that as long as they didn't have carriages or didn't set up shop, he didn't want to try his chances. Though, that was mainly learned through experience.

Then, there was The End. A safe haven for anyone who was still living in this apocalyptic wasteland. It was paradise, a dream come true... and as others thought, it was a myth. It was nothing more than just a story for people to believe that there is something out there that is worth living for. However, Jonathan had already made plans to travel and see if this myth wasn't actually a myth. However, without the big boss around, he couldn't get out just yet. Oh well, oh well. It was wishful thinking that it actually existed, but anywhere that's a possible next clue to his robot's whereabouts is someplace he'd rather go than just staying put.

"How curious, this 'The End'." He voiced aloud, his tone not showing any emotion as always thanks to its robotic tinge. He then looked back at the teenager. "What a myth, isn't it? They spared no expense making it try to sound attractive."

There was an abrupt silence after that and then he walked towards the guards, gesturing the teenager to follow. "Is the boss coming back any time soon? He asked, the sound of his voice something they would be familiar with considering how long he's been here and how frequent he had visited. He spared a glance at the spider woman and the new girl but ultimately said nothing to them.

Martin listened to the radio. His eyes widened and his jaw stayed open. Drool dripped from the corners of his mouth. The boy certainly found the new settlement heavenly. Even though no evidence presented itself, the thought of such a place only brought joy to him. He nudged the radioactive soaker (Jonathan) with his elbow, acknowledging the man's words that he was 'safe to touch.' "It sounds amazing! What do you mean? I have to check it out!"

Martin leaned forward to the radioactive man. He pumped his fists in the air and hoped the man felt the same enthusiasm. Pallet Town did provide a lot of qualities, but it was not an ideal place. Hookers, radioactive puddles, and crime forced him not to appreciate it fully. Martin could only think about the many treasures within the place. He never traveled except when he was young; how difficult would it be to travel such a place?

Climbing onto one of the counters the bar provided, he steadied himself. Standing to both of his feet, he caught most of the people's attention. They looked at him with confused and angered glares. The last thing they needed was another preacher; however, Martin wished to share his happiness."Look, guys! This might seem far-fetched, but aren't you tired of this shit? THE END is the place of opportunities! We do not know what's out there!"

Martin pointed to the walls for emphasis. Most of the people found comfort inside the walls and vowed never to leave. "Let's venture to THE END! C'mon! Join me and we shall go! Don't live in fear! Who's with me?" The kid spoke his heart out. It was not that convincing of a speech. All the nearby citizens looked at him. Before he could react, someone threw a banana peel at him and yelled a profane word.

Like a trigger, everyone did the same. They told Martin to shut up as they tossed pieces of food and trash. Martin attempted to dodge most of it. His clothes became stained and foul odors started attracting to him. Eventually, the trash barrage knocked him off the counter. "Oww, tough crowd. Martin rubbed his butt when he fell back. As he retreated to his original spot next to the radioactive man, a burst of applause and laughter erupted behind him.

All the armed men lined up next to the gate. They separated into two lines so the incoming party could walk in the middle.
The entire process seemed unneeded, but it was traditional. Everyone idealized the boss. Not necessarily because of him having a great sense of character or having great qualities, but for weak-mindedness. By that, citizens of Pallet Town remained reliant on the man. They forgot the ideal concept of a good role model. They supported the boss through every one of his decisions.

After a minute, the gate opened up. The camera zoomed towards someone's shoes stepping inside. Slowly panning out, the camera spent a bit of time revealing the possible antagonist or protagonist of this arc. The individual did wear brown boots with a fresh paint of blood on the sole. The blood did not match the color of the undead, it was not dark enough. Bright-colored blood surrounded the edges of the hell. Going further up, the man wore khakis with an eye-catching belt buckle; the piece represented a sun with a six point.

Before the camera revealed his face, it rotated to the nearby soldiers. Most of them saluted him while the others cheered him on in his presence. A deep voice came from the individual in cowboy boots. His entire body was covered in a crop-duster. The camera finally moved onto his face to reveal his identity. A gallon hat rested on his head.

The boss was in fact gorgeous. A majestic beard covered most of his facial features. His eyebrows cocked down when one of the other men confronted him. The man whispered into the boss' ear and nodded his head toward the spider-chick and short woman. With a tip of hat, the boss understood and strode over to them.

"So you must be the new girl. If no one has told you, we all pull our weight in Pallet Town." He put his hands to his hips. Rubbing his chin, he spat on the floor as he spoke once more. "I don't mean to pry, but what do you have to offer to this town? You look a bit small for hard labor and you're too ugly to be a prostitute."

The boss hanged his head back and laughed it off. The surrounding minions chimed in and slapped their knees at the comment. Not a second later, the boss reared his head back into the conversation. "I'm only half-kidding. We like to joke around here. My name is Nunchucks. What do you want out of Pallet Town?" He then played a smile.
