[OOC] Middle-Earth: Bright Stars & Durin's Folk { Wolf & Angel }

So far, it's just minimal. Not as much as Yavanna does, but considering her past history of serving Sauron, she would know about the poison-filled arrows that the Orcs use.

Also, Saeril remembers using Athelas back in Fangorn when her kind was still alive. So far, she knows a few healing spells, I just haven't elaborated them yet.

Also, didn't we miss a scene? Where the Orcs attacked the house? And that Tauriel and Legolas saved them? That would be before they received the Kingsfoil.

I Figured, the first one makes sense. Obviously. Yavanna just guessed it was poison, by the scent of the blood, earlier.

Any ideas, on how we wanna re-do the ending for Battle of Five Armies? I had a few thoughts, I wanted to run past you.
I was thinking, that Legolas/Bolg would still fight...as Yavanna's life might be at stake during that scene. Saeril could come and help, too of course :)
After that, It might be when Yavanna finds Fili and she grieves. The Elvenking would still be looking for his son.. Thranduil/Legolas conversation *slightly redone, as Thranduil might have a few more things to say*
Maybe Legolas finds Yavanna grieving over her friend? Now this is were it could go a few different ways...he could either set off to Find Aragorn himself. Yavanna could go with Kili/Saeril and meet Dis...before finding Legolas/Aragorn a bit later on...or she'd go with Legolas.
I am fine either way for those two things happening :)

I was thinking of the many scenarios for Battle of the Five Armies.

• Saeril and Kili would witness Fili's death, but accidentally split up after Kili decides that he wants vengeance. Yavanna and Tauriel try to find him, but soon finds themselves having to face against Bolg. He manages to overpower them and, right as he makes a fatal blow to Kili after he gets critically injured, Saeril flies in, and drives the Orc off the cliff, accidentally taking Yavanna with him. That is when Legolas comes to defend her by facing off against Bolg.

• After the Battle, Yavanna would find Fili, and grieve, until Tauriel and Legolas find her. There, they have a conversation with Thranduil, where Tauriel learns of her banishment, and that Legolas chooses to go north.

• After that, Saeril and Kili find Yavanna, and join her grieving, until they all attend the funeral later on. There, they decide to stick together, and find Dis.

I like this plan :) somewhat on the same to what I was thinking.

After Yavanna sticks with Kili/Saeril and Dis for a bit. Maybe Yavanna might feel bit awkward, being around Dis. Maybe she's reminded of Fili/Thorin a lot and misses Legolas, in the midst of it all.

I think for a few reasons; she might pick to go after the man she loves. She and Legolas are re-united as she finds him and Aragorn. And she sticks with him and the Rangers...the bond between them strengthens :) maybe Aragorn already knows about Yavanna via Legolas. So he'd be happy to have her along.
