I propose a secret society that has infiltrated our town to the point where its arms are seamlessly fused to the workings of the town. At surface level they resemble esteemed members of the community, but beneath that their evil seethes. It could very well be connected to or be the source of Mae's secret. Even my character's marriage to her mother could play a role.

I was thinking there could be this motherfucking, connection. Where the Pneumaovore can be the big bad of the city. Like, maybe the witch/ the society and magic is tied up to it. Maybe its, like, snoozing in invisible. Like a big tent over the town-and its rough area- and that creates this weirdness magnet.

and the it requires murders to appease it-those murdered under it feed it- and the way they are murdered is like...seasoning to it. If we don't keep it fed it will eventually wake up.

Err.... This seems like more of a character study with the linkages between charas being the driving force so while I'm hesitant to plan things out super thoroughly, here are my thoughts for the overarching interaction between characters.

@ScreenAcne and @Jove are obviously linked by this secret society of the Dead Witch. They would play characters that are in the know about the Witch and the mis-happenings around town. Motivations are pretty fluid but maybe they are a group that wants to protect the town by guarding the Witch Tomb or maybe they want to revive the Witch? It is up to you two.

@Mae and @Cao the Exiled, I like the idea that you two stole this artifact that was keeping the Dead Witch imprisoned. It lends itself well if the society wants to protect the town and prevent the resurrection. However, if the secret society (or even Mae and Cao) wanted to, their motivations could be the resurrect the Witch and the need for the artifact becomes even more important. Speaking of...

My character could be the ideal vessel for the Witch to posses or something? I dunno specifics but this is the first thing I thought of. Maybe Cao wants to get revenge at my character and sacrifice her for his own ends and maybe the society knows my character is important through lineage or something so I'm given some Weird Science thing for protection by Screen. Or maybe Cao is knows a bit about the secret society and knows Jove and/or Screen are in the society and want to resurrect the Witch so my chara somehow gets roped into the "Get Even" bit with him. Especially if my character was given some Weird Science Object that caused bad things to happen to her...

It really depends on what motivations you want your charas to be at!

Yea. I like that idea. Fits the relationships so much better with your character wanting revenge on my character if she did something. Then getting Mae tied up in it, undermining her step-father, etc.

That poaching the witch could be a part of a bigger, motherfucking, boss of buggery. I think the motherfucking, society should be this great expanse of this neighborehood watch meets SPC foundation, shit. The witch is one of the many containtment classes they got to run the course.

Maybe we can like, bind these two concepts clashing together. Where the witches soul is attracting all these souls eaters because all those warts nd wizardy makes a funky aroma. So, maybe, the society is trying to put her in a body to stop 'em eloping to our groping ground of ghouls.

My dude can be this, motherfucking, inept guy they send to do the job since 90% of the group got nommed trying to fight 'em back.

Then it's like...we got this great gamble. We want to contain the witche but she's dangerous alive. Yet she's making more danger dead. So we got to put our necks under the road side and play chicken with the truck of terrors. This way, everyone got sort of conflicting but similair goals.

The society can be a milita in style of spc foundation-guys who classify and contain mysticals mishaps and motherfucking, fanatstical collapses- the witch is one of these containments, her super motherfucking, taste bud tingling phantom form is attracking the soul eaters-pneumavores- and my ball bringer is assigned to making sure the witch gets in her vessel-you- so the ghostly gluttons stop trying party in our place.

the reason why my motherfucking, apathetic adventure is sent to handle this is because most of the competent coworkers got eaten holding back the mists attack. So, my motherfucking, dude sort is on both sides.

He got to give the witch a body to save the town, but, if he does that he got ot also figure out a way to imprison her so she won't also torch the town like a drunken disco dance routine with a fondness for candle lights.
