Also, everyone, I'm going with a realistic version of the predator cannon, with special ammunition instead of just 'close range' and 'long range.' Now it's two different ammunition types- one for armored targets and another for less armored, closer targets.

Hooked up directly to the ammo pool, biggest worry is the overheating, actual rounds which I'll detail in a moment, and it being a 15mm minigun. For reference, .50 cal is 12.7mm.

API-HV: Armor Piercing Incendiary High Velocity 15mmx116mm = tungsten-skinned rounds with ballistic-capped tips and incendiary explosives inside for armor-piercing fiery damage. Note: incendiary charges are different from thermite. Essentially just a tiny burst of fire and shrapnel, good for shredding hydraulic hoses, electronics, etc. VERY good against moderately armored critical spots.

HEAT-HV: High Explosive Anti-Titan High Velocity 15mmx116mm = thin depleted uranium sleeve with an explosive charge and a tungsten penetrator, high velocity. Hits like an antimaterial round and explodes for maximum damage to lighter armor or exposed critical systems.

First, its all real. There are HEAT rounds, API rounds, and more.

Second, I hated how it was just "minigun" firing "bullets." 20mm in WW2 as an autocannon was particularly powerful against lighter armor- in the future, I figger 15mm could be even deadlier.

As far as I know, Powershot-close is loading all the barrels with rounds and then firing off all of them at once. I never really understood how it worked tbh. Powershot-long must've been something like Bulletstorm- loading the barrel up with rounds, and them firing them all at once. I dunno, Powershot made the least sense out of everything Legion.

Also- you realize Jager's gonna get shit from like, my character for example. "He's got 25 kills!" "Yeah so what, I got over a hundred?"

@OfWindAndRain I wasn't trying to mock you, it was an honest question. And his character sheet doesn't have a callsign because he loses Titans really fast. I was trying to show that it was 25 on this chassis alone and Monarchs are only given to good Pilots. It's more like 25 from this one battle.

Oh. How much time and how many kills should I edit it to have?

Just keep the scene where it is at the beginning of the fight, and leave the kills as is if you really want it mentioned. The Monarch Chassis can be one he’s had for a little longer than usual, and you can’t really paint kill markers in the middle of a fight anyways, so 25 kills wouldn’t be a indicator of how many he’s taken down in this one skirmish.

@superservo27It's been like ten minutes since the siren went out for them to drop, probably took 4 minutes for them to drop.

They've just gotten boots on the ground. No one's gonna have more than five kills, especially since this isn't the mad brawl that you see at the end of the get-to-the-chopper mission in Titanfall 2. People are going to be playing to stay alive less than to decimate everything not friendly. Half an hour into the fight, and someone might have like half a dozen kills. Someone ultra aggressive might have more, at the cost of their own titan.

I mean, just... think about it.

@superservo27 Aren't kills in a vehicle usually tallied after a battle anyway? Like painting kills on the nose of a warplanes or tank. Maybe he scored 25 kills before this battle, hence why he was given a Monarch frame?
