@PrinceAlexus You're out of movement. You can only move one space - any of the three empty squares next to yours. (Diagonal movement can be taken.)

Also are you using any determination from your previous scavenge check of the mining room? It didn't get resolved yet so I want to do that before moving you~

Finally I will say that the summoning circle is just set dressing, you don't need to worry about it. Though there are circumstances where it's not, but that shouldn't be a problem this mission ;)

@Mae Sure, I'll reroll once. I'm just cautious in case of failures. (Also, what's the 'restore' way in terms of determination? Is it only through accepting rolls with one movement?)

@PrinceAlexus Rooms can only be scavenged once unless it's a room condition, like the Mining Room, 'scavenge for xyz'. Since Scarescrow scavenged the Summoning Room before you did, it's already been scavenged.

Okay, can I just check - I think I'm understanding Determination some more now. If you want to reroll movement, you spend 1 determination to try again. You get one free action to scavenge, but you can spend a point to scavenge for more, right?

@CollectorOfMystThe most reliable way to recover determination is rolling a 1 for movement, yes.

Some items help with determination (for example, Hawkeye Harold's personal item, but they are also in the gear/artefact decks I believe) as well as some encounter cards and some bad cards (darkness and maybe some dread cards as well, I would need to check to confirm though)

Determination allows you to reroll a dice. It could be used defensively to reroll failed defense dice, offensively to reroll missed shots or combat damage, to reroll scavenge checks or reroll movement, or reroll a skill challenge (such as the "Cunning" Test Dan did earlier, for example, or the "Luck" test Pastor Jimmy did recently) off the top of my head. There might be a few more examples, like dodging environmental dangers, but I think those are the main ones.

Scavenge checks give you 3 dice to roll, and a 6 succeeds and you find a "scavenge" card. If you fail some of the dice (for example, roll 1, 1, 6 on your scavenge check) you can spend determination to reroll the failures (perhaps ending up with something like 6, 5, 6)
