This has caught my interest. Unfortunately I've had way too many RPs fizzle out on me and I don't seem to have the creative juices for yet another character that I might not be able to use. Still, if I come up with something in time, I would like to join this.

I hope you can figure out something for a character but even if you can't, thanks for your interest, and good luck. Finally, I removed the clause about character appearance that says it needs to be art and not real images. Turns out it's quite limiting when searching for realistic art.

What's your rule on character deaths? I've seen some RP's here that give the GM full control whether a character dies or not.

I'm just afraid of suddenly biting the dust when the horror comes.

Also, how much power can our characters have? I'd hate to make a character too over or underperforming, so I'm requesting a sort-of measureable baseline.

@Old Amsterdam I'm feeling a bit disheartened and down at the moment so that's certainly not helping... I got as far as 'kidnapped at a young age to be exploited because of her /undetermined/ esp ability by some cult, managed to escape/or was saved by a friendly government agent, but not before the experience left her deeply damaged...' And then I blanked completely!

@Migyudon No character deaths unless the player wants their character to die for any reason or if they leave the RP. As for how powerful your character can be: anything south of town-busting in terms of raw power (better far south). For mental powers, it's harder to judge unless I actually read all the details about it.

Could you explain this more? I don't understand. Actually, may I have examples of the range of effective characters?

@Migyudon There are too many nuances to give specific examples. Take a look at powered characters from paranormal fiction but nothing on the levels of anime/superheroes. Take a look at the characters that have been accepted. Come up with multiple ideas and pitch them to me and I can more accurately tell you what works and what doesn't. Keep in mind that this is not a combat-oriented RP so don't focus too much on this issue if it bothers you.
