Tessa is an incredibly sociable person, though doesn't actively seek out people. She has been told she is charismatic, and incredibly provocative at times. When she is alone though, she is very susceptible to thoughts of loneliness, and often longs for a companion.


Backstory

Tessa hails from Cyrodiil, though she spent maybe 10 years of her childhood there. Once the Alduin take over took place,
her family was murdered in the process. From there, her life was incredibly straightforward in a sense. She was self sufficient,
either begging for food, or simply stealing it. She wandered the land for a time, barely scraping by. When she was 15ish or so, she met a master conjurer, who offered his teachings and home in exchange for... "favors." This went on for 5+ years, until she eventually had enough and decided to leave. The master conjurer, who's name she never got to learn, died in the process of stopping her. Now, she merely wanders, unsure what to do with her life.

Honestly, I never played base game Skryim or Oblivion. I reference a mod or something on accident, please correct me. I don't remember everything that is base game or mod.

The post itself is fine! I think it is good for setting up the setting, so to speak.

When you first mentioned it, I thought you meant a POST POST, like character doing things.

@Avali@EldarionI Well to be frank, I wasn't actually going to make a character myself. You see, I had thought about playing a sort of DM, in other words the consequence of your characters' actions would be determined by me at random, aside from your characters interacting, and I would introduce NPCs along the way that were integral to the story. I know this may be a stretch, but I was willing to at least give it a try.

So, yes, while it is vague my first post, it leaves the story open to begin how you wish. From there, we can continue and..

I really hope this is making some sense. I'll admit I'm a bit rusty when it comes to GMing things.

I'm getting a Tamriel's D&D vibe. I run D&D campaigns on the daily, so of course I love it!

However, I believe an official rules post on that is in order. What the GM does and doesn't, and specifically what is in the actual players control.

I know I sound bossy. I just figured I'd state what I'VE personally seen work.

@Avali Point. Uh...so something like this?

-Characters can interact with other characters through dialogue, combat, etc. In the event of combat though, the GM determines the effectiveness of an attack and/or defense by random chance (I.E.: roll of the die). The GM is allowed only to kill a PC when that player gives the GM consent.

-Environmental interactions are also determined by random chance, meaning if a character chooses to open a chest or search a cave, there is either the possibility of the GM deciding they find a rare item or encounter a monster.

-Permadeath is prominent in this game. If your character dies, that character will remain dead for the duration. However, players can create a new character after their original character has died.

Anything in particular that influences the decision of what you get?

>For example: Base skyrim had items from a lot chests/ enemies level dependent. Level 1 bandit don't drop daedric sets .

Is there a leveling system of some sort that influences what you receive? Or is that also roll of the Dicerinos.
