He dresses mostly in simple garments and only on special occasions in his ceremonial white robes.

Plan B.: If Jeremiah should die, a set of events would be immediately set in motion that would kill or otherwise stop every single member of the Judas Unit.
The Face of Mercy: This simple wood button, only the size of a coin, is a image of the Mother Mary carved into a piece of the true cross. It is one of the most powerful charms against evil sorcery and magic.
Biography Born in Munich to a wealthy catholic family Jeremia always wanted to become a priest. While his parents wanted him to continue the family business they could not deny the zeal he had. Jeremia always wanted to help people, caring for the sick and administering last rights, so after his studies and seminars the young priest joined the military and served as a priest in a military conflict in the middle east. It was here he came into conflict with the Guardian Knights after he and two members of his unit were the only survivors of a attack by a Djinn. He quickly joined and rose through the ranks. He could have come far but his mercy and questioning of doctrine made him a liability in the open field. So he was transferred to be the new task leader of the Judas Unit.
Personality: Rowland is a suave and charming man with an incredibly gifted mind. He remains courteous and professional at almost all times and exudes an aura of wisdom and assurance. He is incredibly pragmatic.
The Knights are somewhat skeptical of Rowland's alliance and agency within the Judas Unit, as he sometimes treats the organization as little more than another one of his corporate connections.
Powers: Sand Manipulation: Rowland can psychically manipulate sand with terrifying precision.
Insect Manipulation: Rowland can control the behavior of inects, and even reanimate them if they die.
Face Masking: Rowland can remove the face of a corpse in order to temporarily disguise his appearance.
Alchemy: Rowland is a master alchemist, capable of great feats of creation, making healing salves and deadly poisons in equal measure.
Biotech Knowledge: Rowland has lost his money and prestige, but the scientific knowledge he has acquired remains. Though he lacks the facilities, time and resources to actually create anything, Rowland has a comprehensive knowledge of genetics, medicine and cybernetics. This makes him, if nothing else, a quite skilled forensic analyst.
Biography: 3000 years ago, along the Nile, there lived a man named Heqet. He was a priest and alchemist of great learning and influence, who spent his days weaving powerful spells across the kingdom, bringing fertility and life to the land.
Heqet was not without his flaws, though. You see, Heqet was the younger brother of the Pharaoh, a fact that he resented immensely. He was the one with the intellect! He was the one with the charm! His brother was nothing but an ostentatious layabout.
One day, he finally resolved to rectify the issue, only to discover that one of his servants had already notified the pharaoh of his plot. The city guard set upon him at once, and even his powerful magic was insufficient to keep them at bay permanently.
Upon his death, he issued a final enchantment to ensure his legacy: should his body ever be removed from its appointed tomb, he would rise from death to claim the lives of the interlopers.
So it came to pass that the enchantment was awakened in the Fall of 1888, when a rich young dilettante and self-proclaimed archaeologist named Rowland Freebush stumbled upon his tomb. Believing that he had found a grand prize, he took the mummy held therein and attempted to load him into his cart, only to be swiftly and brutally killed.
Heqet, now one of the undead, faced a dilemma: in order to gain the prestige he craved, he would have to show his face, but it was desiccated and dead. So, Heqet made a monuments decision: he would take the face and name of the interloper until his true face could be restored.
Upon returning to civilization, Heqet, now Rowland, began using the miraculous healing properties of his alchemical substances to heal the sick for meager fees. Slowly but surely, he gained the financial means to buy the reagents to restore his face, but not before word of his powers spread. Soon, he was seeing increased demand. As his fame grew, so too did his understanding of modern science and technology and how the interacted with his ancient powers. By the turn of the century, he stood at the helm of a nascent biotech empire. His company: The Ammit Corporation.
Continuing the company under the guise of a family line for over a century, Rowland finally faced trouble when a would-be crusader uncovered his true nature. Forced to make the decision between giving up all the wealth and power he had or being hunted for the rest of his days, Rowland made the choice to cut his losses, leave the Ammit Corporation until further notice and join the Judas Unit.
Since then, the Ammit Corporation has been pretty thoroughly gutted and the leadership is almost unrecognizable, though rumors of some more clandestine projects from the old management still swirl in the public mind, unconfirmed.
Name Subject claims his name is what sounds like a quick series of growling barks. His handlers have taken to calling him Growler.
Age Numerous organic pieces have been surgically removed for examination-test results date the specimen to be nearing thirty years old by our current understandings of time.
Appearance Almost stereotypical looking in nature the subject resembles most artistic imaginations of what is commonly referred to in public society as “Bigfoot” or “Sasquatch.” As would be expected in his natural state he is completely covered in a thick unruly mess of brown fury hair save for the majority of his bald face; the little skin that can be seen is of rather dark suntanned color that somewhat hides his weathered and calloused skin.
Nearing upwards of eight and a half feet tall the specimens longer arms and slightly cone shaped skull are but one of his many fascinating abnormalities-the very frame of his body being such a solid mass of boulder like muscle that it alone would warrant study were he just a mere primate. Despite the lack of fully developed lips, a problem that causes his tusk like bottom canines to jut out menacingly, his handlers swear up and down that he is always smiling: further tests are needed to confirm this.
After some convincing and an extended period of “good” behavior while serving in [redacted] we allowed him the requested pair of what had to be custom made jeans, an enormous brown leather duster (specifically fake leather), and a matching cowboy hat.
Classification Definitely not a member of another sentient race that has lived alongside humanity for thousands of years in secrecy, and definitely not some sort of “missing link.” Definitely not-the Knights have been doing their holy duty and making that the known truth since the dawn of the fowl creatures discovery.
Powers Enhanced Strength: Physically stronger than any average human and several high level types of threats encountered in field work.
PsyLingual: Our scientists have yet to discover if the specimen himself has some minor psychic abilities or if his species has literally mastered some way of vocal communication with animals. Whatever it is the results have time and time again shown that he can communicate with animals, primarily mammals and birds, to the point that it resembles a conversation to the passing eye.
Invisibility: Years prior to catching our first [redacted] the organization had been stumped in figuring out just how such a large creature had gone unphotographed and tended to disappear when pursued-truth be told we were all somewhat shocked when we discovered the main reason behind this was in fact an inate form of invisibility they possessed. Such a form of camouflage is unheard of in the animal kingdom and is truly a sight to behold; those that actually witness the specimen "cloak" often compare it to the old Predator movies when seen up close.
Artifacts or Skills The subject known as Growler was assigned to [redacted] on account of his expert tracking skills and stealth abilities. Although given no formal training in combat Growlers unnatural strength allows him the ability to handle most physical encounters with sheer brute force. When assigned to the [redacted] unit and asked for any desired weapons for fieldwork it declined and instead ripped a small tree from the ground-over the years his handlers have noted that not only has the subject continuously used the same tree like club but has overtime covered it with intricately carved and interwoven strange runic patterns.
As of yet all tests have been inconclusive when it comes to the possible magical properties of the numerous polished stones and hand carved trinkets that are woven into what could be considered his "beard."
Biography Official records state that the subject known as Growler was first identified twelve years prior to todays date. First encountered in [redacted] in the [redacted] National Park we immediately dispatched the Francis Unit with standard capture orders-standard orders being kill at the first sign of resistance.
What was meant to be a typical mission for the Knights turned into a grueling two year game of cat and mouse. Surprisingly through all this time not a single Knight was killed directly by the creature: broken limbs and accidental fatalities though were a completely different story. A year into the "project" and the assigned Unit had sectioned of a set range of woods, about 20 square miles, that the target seemed to stay within as if his chosen territory.
Our first real progress in apprehension was when we cut the budget to Francis Unit causeing many of the on the ground agents to begin using the forest itself for warmth during the winter months by hacking down trees and burning constant fires without abandon. Quickly a pattern emerged with agents being attacked when specifically assigned logging duties; knowledge we then used in several traps that lead to close captures.
A few months into the start of the second year [redacted] was granted his request of six class C flame throwers that were immediately put to use in a new tactic of just saying to hell with it and burning the whole forest down. Amazingly before the day was over the creature made himself visible in camp in a eerie display of surrender that resembled a human-on his knees and hands raised in the air in clear sign of submission.
From here the specimen was locked in restraining arm and leg bands classed at strength level [redacted] and was shipped to our scientific branch in [redacted] without problem. After the science department was done poking and prodding he was deemed "useable" by the many departments in charge of such a decision and was quickly given the rank Expendable and assigned to the [redacted] Unit.

Name Abel Everdene
Age Biological Appearance, 20
Classification Unknown. Entitled officially as Basilisk, sometimes Medusa.
CELL:// Subject is to have access to a number of basic living facilities and a standard bedsit. Despite never expressing any desire to alter the cell's appearance, subject is to be given the option of adding minimal decor to the walls and furnishings. Due to risk of affliction, the use of CCTV equipment within the cell is strictly forbidden. Cell is instead monitored by 24/7 recorded audio.
HANDLING:// Subject has remained compliant throughout records and so requires no special escorting measures. When opening the cell, the door must be firmly knocked upon and a verbal notice must be issued before entry. Doing so will allow the subject to ensure his afflictions are safely covered. Knights should never attempt to physically handle the subject due to risk of exposure. If the subject displays any sign of hostility, stress, or confusion, Knights are to evacuate the cell immediately.
FEEDING:// Subject's diet is maintained through routine contracts. Should a rare instance of extreme hunger arise, subject is to be assigned to any minor contract available. If none are available, Procedure-97RT should be requested and authorised.
CHAPLAIN'S NOTE:// Following June's incident, I must stress once again that should Abel attempt to remove his eyes, Knights are not to try and intervene. Do not fear the loss of an asset; even when completely removed, Abel's eyes will regenerate within the week.
Appearance Twisted by prying eyes, The Basilisk seeks solitude behind veils and a neutral bronze masque. The silhouette of a man stands at six feet, lean in stature and head low in posture. If one should peel back the clad clothing and attire, a warm and pale complexion might be noticed, youthful and healthy despite deprivation of the sun's gaze. His hair is perhaps unkempt, cropped a little above his jawline and held put by his head attire. His beloved mask tells a less delicate story, for if one were to hold immune to his gaze whilst pulling it away, they would be a met by a sombre and mournful face. Thin lips never smile, and his features are set with a pair of infernal, serpentine orange eyes. His eyelids and cheekbones are painted with pale scar tissue; traces of incidents unseen, in which his torment begged that he tear out his own eyes, time and time again...
Nervous of other's gaze and in line with precautions set by superiors, The Basilisk is clad entirely in clothing, leaving no flesh exposed. The mask itself holds a shrouded black mesh behind the eyes, preventing onlookers from peering into the holes. During times of rest or when a mask is not viable, The Basilisk is instead veiled.
Powers ☠ Petrifying Gaze Staring directly into the eyes of the basilisk leads to 'petrification,' a state in which the victim is unable to move, despite remaining entirely conscious. The duration of this state varies from minutes to years, with the longest known incident remaining on-going at 41 years. Weak minds suffer an immediate aneurysm and death. It should also be noted that The Basilisk's gaze only effects human or human-like souls, and is mostly ineffective against artificial beings and the living dead.
☠ Weave Souls The Basilisk's eyes harvest and collect souls. Souls can then be materialised into spectral weapons, in a neo-form of necromancy. When facing monsters, this technique is usually manifested in the form of many arms, which sprout from the ground to restrain and tear at flesh.
☠ Summon Nahash An ability forbidden and left undiscussed.
☠ Heat Sensitivity The Basilisk is able see without eyes through the use of thermal pit organs.
Possessions ✦ The Masque A brazen masque depicting an unremarkable, neutral face. It has been in his possession for longer than he can remember, and serves as an effective barrier between him and curious eyes. ✦ Trench Knives Close combat is not his forte, but he remains skilled in the usage of small blades.
Persona Traits ✦ Tragic Kindness The Basilisk is withdrawn and overwhelmed by guilt, holding his camaraderie so dearly that he dare not even look their way. ✦ Arachne Enemy Ancient history sees that arachnid beings feel natural fear and disdain towards The Basilisk. ✦ Predatory Guilt is overridden by hunger, and the souls of monsters and demonkind provide succour for this foul being. ✦ Patient The Basilisk waits silently. Listening. Thinking. Calculating.
Biography Eighty years before present, a hospital saw the admittance of what appeared to be a boy, bloodied and battered and devoid of eyes. In seizuring hands he clutched a peculiar mask, and doctors fought wildly to keep the boy's jolting and agonising movements still. His eyelids had peeled, and his fingers had become painted with his own blood. The boy held no other possessions, and bore no indication of identity. None recognised his gored face.
For a while he remained in that hospital bed, remaining stable despite his sightless condition. Over time, gentle nurses were able to wean a name from him; Abel. Abel bore no recollection of his home or parents, and stated only that things were just fine now that he lacked eyes. Concerned yet charmed by the boy's passive demeanour, a decree of adoption was sent out by one of the tending nurses.
But such was not to be, for The Basilisk's eyes opened once more as the sun drew up from the horizon. The nurse who stirred Abel was met by eyes of fire and dark, and her heart ceased to beat.
Abel's hopes were trampled by his regenerating eyes, and he held the mask close as his bedside was attended by strangers. Deeply interested in Abel's serpentine visions, they spoke words of silk, claiming that they might help the accursed child.
Entranced by The Basilisk's woe, the viper Nahash presents itself as Abel's only friend, appearing as it wishes and whispering secrets into his ear. Two sides of the same coin, Abel is able to utilise Nahash for dire situations. But such a thing is forbidden.
In her true form, Belze is easily 2m tall, 70cm of which is the height of her upper human body (from the tip of her head to the abdomen). The human part of her sports unblemished, ash-grey skin, looking as if it's chiselled from stone. Of course, it is mere human flesh. The fingers of both hands end in sharp claws, the same shade of dark grey as her spider half. She has mandibles poking out in between her thin lips. Like all Mygalomorphae, their mandibles point downwards and do not cross each other.
In her glamoured human form, Belze stands at 168cm.
Classification Arachne/Jorogumo These long-living, half-human-looking half-spider race is made up of females only, for they reproduce with unsuspecting males of other species before either killing them off or keeping them in a state of comatose, wrapped in a cocoon of webbing for further use. Most Arachnes have long lifespans. Arachnes are split into various Houses, categorised by habitat/environmental nature and led by the Brood Mother, with a handful of Brood Elders as second-in-command. The Brood Mother is usually followed by two Brood Guards, sometimes more, depending on the size of the House. Each House has their own territory, but it is not uncommon for neighbouring Houses to descend into conflict over territorial disputes, or simply being the case of one House targetting a weaker one. Arachnes share a Brood mentality, where the Brood Mother is the supreme leader, and the most important member of them all. By nature, they are ruthless towards enemies, indifferent towards those they deem neutral and relaxed amongst confirmed allies. Each House has their own unique ability.
Those of the House of Mygalomorphae are a sneaky bunch even if some are rather big, and prefer to observe before striking.
Powers 1) All Arachne have supernatural durability due to their exoskeleton, and can stand both cold and heat (not to the extreme ranges, but higher/lower than most beings) 2) Their supernatural regenerative abilities only kick in when they suck the fluids out of a prey 3) Their sting induces paralysis. Of course, stronger beings require a larger dosage, and beings immune to poison are naturally immune to the Arachne's sting 4) They can shoot webs out the rear and from their claws 5) Arachnes can telepathically summon help from normal spiders under the same category as they are, in this case, the Mygalomorphae category (for example: trapdoor spiders, tarantulas, funnel spiders, etc) - House Mygalomorphae's unique ability: Chameleon-like camouflage
Skills
Positives - Like all spiders, she is an excellent weaver - Extremely stealthy and agile despite her size - Deadly at close combat - Good at ambush and guerrilla tactics - Extremely patient
Negatives - Only one House of Arachnes is able to wield magic. Unfortunately, Mygalomorphaes is not the one. - While she technically can wield a gun or the like for long-ranged combat, her multiple eyes does make it inconvenient and distracting, so she doesn't do long-ranged - Overly-cautious and analytical - Lightning is the one element she dreads facing - When forced to engage in outright combat, she will keep fighting no matter the injuries she sustains until either she dies or her opponent does
Weapons or Artifacts: The only artifact she has is called "Brood Mother's Justice". It takes the form of claws which melded with her fingers and appears to be an original part of her. It has no magical properties other than being extremely durable and sharp. There are only three such artifact, and every Brood Guard of the House of Mygalomorphae bears it as a symbol of their status. Only in death does the artifact detach and is handed over to the new Guard.
Personality Positives - Extremely patient - Able to think on her feet in the heat of battle. Cool under pressure - Works hard to eliminate personal flaws as best she can. Even as a Brood Guard (and mainly because she is one), she firmly believes that there’re still things to learn and skills to polish every day. No one’s perfect, after all.
Negatives - Overly-cautious and analytical - Has a tendency to over-estimate her opponents and under-estimate herself. This doesn’t usually happen, but when faced with someone she knows outclass her, she tends to second-guess her actions. - Has an explosive temper and will become reckless when the Brood Mother is threatened. (Doubly so now, as her new Brood Mother is rather young.)
Biography Hatched from a small cluster of eggs spawned from a Mygalomorphae Arachne and a Manticore, Belze, although the runt of the clutch, was still blessed with a large form thanks to the male's genes. From the moment she could see and weave her own web at the age of six months, the female who gave birth to her - Fyre - took her clutch siblings and herself away from the nest and threw them out into the wide expanse of the Mygalomorphae's territory. Left to fend for themselves, they needed to survive until Fyre came for them again. How long that will be, they had no idea. But that was Arachne tradition. As Fyre was a warrior of the House, her offsprings would be set on the same path, and only those who had the ability to survive as a hatchling would be welcomed into the fold of fighters.
So for days Belze crawled through the territory, more often than not taking advantage of her camoflague ability to sneak away from danger than engage in a fight. She saw the gruesome end one of her siblings suffered by being too arrogant. Mygalomorphae's territory it may be, but that didn't mean the Arachnes chased away every other creatures. Because if they did, what will they eat? As she was now, even a hellhound pup would have no trouble ripping her in two. Less than a year old, Belze was only two feet tall.
Despite the various dangers, she survived by consuming smaller insects and animals until Fyre returned. The clutch of thirteen was now five. Proven that she has what it takes to be a warrior, she and her siblings were shoved to train with the veterans, learning to take advantage of their stealth to ambush and attack, to spin traps and use their multiple eyes effectively. For four whole years this went on, until they were deemed good enough to re-integrate into the House as full-fledged warriors. Before they could actually call themselves Warriors of the House, though, there was one last trial. To bring back the corpse of a creature on par or stronger than themselves. Belze caught within her traps a young witch and didn't hesitate to suck her dry.
From there on, Belze led the fairly exciting life of a warrior, patrolling the territory, training the hatchlings, participating in skirmishes against other Houses and fights between creatures looking to take over Mygalomorphae's territory. Of course, there were the occasional humans who hunted the supernatural, all of varying capabilities. She was lucky enough to survive each encounter. Perhaps it was due to this that she was picked as the next Brood Guard at the age of eighteen human years when one died. This also marked her first time seeing the revered Brood Mother face-to-face.
However, a decade later, tragedy befell the Mygalomorphaes. Skinwalkers launched an attack on her House in a bid to move into the Arachne's territory due to the barren state of their own. During the conflict, the Brood Mother was critically wounded when the Guards were swarmed. Victory for the House was bittersweet that day and went uncelebrated. The Brood Mother's heir was relatively young, and amongst the three appointed Guards, only Belze survived as the previous Mother's Guard. After failing to protect the previous Brood Mother, Belze took it upon herself to be the new Mother's shadow. Unfortunately, in the middle of the third year serving the new Mother, she fell victim to The Order.
At first, she tried resisting, taking advantage of the fact they didn't seem inclined to kill her just yet. However, what she least expected happened. The Knights of the Order managed to pinpoint the exact location of the Brood Mother's nest. Any further resistance from her would result in the death of her charge. Unable to see a way out, she caved. So it was in her thirty-first year that she was blackmailed into working for the Order in exchange of her House's continued exsistence.
The true name of every Fox Immortal is a closely guarded secret. Legend says that those who can speak the true name of a Fox Immortal can negate their powers or even erase their existence from the mortal plain. There is one man who knows Steven’s true name within the order of the guardian knights of Christ. Ezekiel Cromwell, Archguardian of the Cross. The true name of Steven is Tianwu.
Gender Complicated but most of the times male Age 4356 years Sexuality Everything Species Húxiān or Fox Immortal in English
In dept information on the Fox Immortal Thousands of years before the birth of Gautama Buddha the Han people worshiped what is now known as the ancient pantheon of Tian. The ancient Chinese pantheon consists of many gods, deities and immortals. One of them is Húshén, the Fox God(dess). The truth about Húshén is that the god is not one but two gods. Húshén is both the great lord and the great lady of the three foxes. The three foxes are also known as the Fox Immortals.
The Fox immortals are three ancient guardian spirits from china who are known under various names in different Asian folklore. In China the folklore talks about Húli Jing, in Japan are legends about the Kitsune and Korea has their myths about the Kumiho. The truth is that all these myths and legends talk about the same ancient spirits and most of the depictions of the Fox Immortals in these stories have little base in reality. A long time ago Fox Immortals used to be guardian spirits of places of natural beauty. Most of those places where destroyed as human civilization advanced. Now Fox Immortals roam the earth without any true purpose.
Fox Immortals are in fact not Immortal, however they can extend their lives indefinitely by consuming the souls of living creatures. Many stories talk about the shapeshifting abilities of the so called fox spirits. There is some truth in those stories but it is far more darker than most of mankind actually knows. Fox Immortals can shapeshift into persons and animals after they have ripped the beating hearth out of the body of their victim and eaten it. Every shape, person or animal a fox immortal transforms in was once a living creature.
The Fox immortal can shapeshift into any person regardless of gender, age or race. They often stay in a certain human form for years or even decades while living in human societies. Fox Immortals tend to develop some kind of fondness towards a certain appearance and develop a persona around it that they keep up for years. Because the Fox Immortals have been alive for thousands of years, they have shifted between bodies and genders a lot. The concept of gender, sexuality and age has become something vague to the Fox Immortals.
All Fox Immortals have a true form, the form they were granted by their deity upon creation. Legend says that they are at their most powerful in their true form, but that assumption is wrong. No Fox Immortal would ever show their true form to a human because that would be an indication that their unnatural powers are dwindling and they no longer can sustain their magical abilities.
Appearance The best way to describe a shapeshifting spirits appearance is by his currently alias, Steven Cooper. Steven could best be described as a fine build human male in his late 20s. His length is of above average height without being considered abnormally long. He’s athletically build without being overly muscled and his skin is tanned without being too much. With his neatly done black hair, dark mysterious eyes and his tailor made trendy suit many would say that he’d work as some male model.
Steven prefers good quality clothing. He’s a strong believer that clothes make the man and looking good is very high on his priority list. The Fox Immortal has a strong preference for dark colors. Steven is usually spotted in a black suit, with a black shirt, black shoes and all finished with a black tie. When people ask about his fascination with the color black he often responds that he’s in the funeral business and that his job is to guide souls to their final resting place.
All shapeshifting spiritual entities have their true form. The spiritual form they had when coming into existance. For Tianwu that is no difference. The true form of a Fox Immortal is purely a manifestation of his spiritual essence in the material world.
Personality Steven is gifted with an unnatural charm. He’s easy going and always flexible in social situations. The Fox Immortal has some sort of 6th sense for how he should behave in order to be liked, regardless of what kind of person or gender he’s impersonating. Parents would see him as the ideal boyfriend for their daughters. This near perfectness is a façade. Every gentle smile, little joke or friendly word is in fact a cool, calculated decision in order to manipulate his target audience into doing his bidding.
In reality, Steven is very egoistic. His world revolves around him and he lacks empathy. He doesn’t feel guilt or any remorse towards humanity and clearly considers himself a higher lifeform. He has never forgiven humanity for destroying his natural sanctuary for the sake of progress. Steven considers humanity fair game and does not care much what happens to humans.

Powers
Near immortality: Fox Immortals are almost immortal. In essence they are spirits that can extend their lives indefinitely as long as they replenish their spiritual energy by consuming souls. They manifest themselves through physical bodies in the material world. These bodies can be damaged and destroyed, forcing the Fox Immortal to either shapeshift into another acquired body or expose his true form. Physical bodies can be damaged just like any other physical object in the material world. However the destruction of such a body does not equal the end of the spiritual form of the Fox Immortal.
Shapeshifting: Shapeshifting is a power that allows the Fox Immortal to become something or someone else. It goes beyond just appearance. Steven can literary become his victim. Taking over not just the body but also the voice, mannerisms and even memories. However, to be able to do such a transformation requires the input of the right data. Steven Needs to consume the soul and heart of a victim in order to acquire the ability to change into him/her. The victim needs to be alive and have a soul in order to be able to be consumed. Any form of undead creatures such as vampires, zombies, mummies do not fit the requirements. Being that only have a spiritual body lack a physical heart to consume. When shapeshifting Steven takes over the physical abilities of the person/animal he has consumed. All abilities that come from their natural body are at his exposal. Any form of supernatural abilities cannot be taken over. The bodies Steven can shapeshift in are frozen in time. They do not age, do not grow, change improve or decay in any form of natural way. He cannot train a body as a human does. Steven will have to deal with the limitations of that body. Bodies can be damaged and that damage is permanent.
Soul consumption: Steven needs to consume souls in order to extend his life and power his ability to shapeshift. Also consuming souls will actually heal damage to his spiritual body. In order to consume someone’s soul, Steven need to make physical skin contact with the victim. Steven can also consume lost souls who are stuck in the material world better known as ghosts. However not every soul is as easily consumed as human/animal souls. Souls of higher beings such as angels, demons, deities, gods and supernatural creatures often contain much more spiritual energy making them able to resist consumption. Even strong willed and well-trained humans such as experienced knights of the order of Christ might resist for a long duration.
Fox claws: Steven has retractable claws that he can manifest in human forms. These claws are so sharp and powerful that they can easily tear through skin, muscle and bone.
Physical form immunities:The Physical forms of Steven are not living organisms but animated objects who have the physical properties of who they represent. Because the physical manifestations of Steven are animated objects they are immune to aging, decease, poisons and effects that would transform them into living death (zombie/vampire bites). Damage to the bodies works a bit differently too. You can cut off the head but the rest will continue to function. Cut off the legs and Steven can continue to crawl around using his arms till the end of times if he wanted too. However, that would be rather inconvenient. Since bodies are not living organisms, wounds/damage cannot heal and shapeshifting into that particular form would become useless.
Weaknesses
His true name: Those who can speak out his true name can negate his powers temporarily and expose his true form. Through the true name of the Fox Immortal these guardian spirits can be bound to a contract for servitude.
His true form: The true form of a Fox Immortal Is purely spiritual and its ability to influence the material world limited. In its true form, the spiritual essence of the Fox Immortal is exposed and vulnerable to anything that can destroy spiritual entities such as the Sword of Saint George.
Weapons engraved with his true name: Penetrating his psychical body with weapons engraved with his true name will damage his spiritual form eventually killing him.
Any form of anti-spirit magic, seals and charms: Certain spells, charms, symbols and rituals that ward off evil spirits can protect a humans soul or prevent Steven from entering certain rooms or buildings. Some symbols can even entrap him in a confined space.

Biography Tian, the realm of the gods? Heaven? The ethereal plane where all Qi flows from that created the universe or the supreme god himself? Not even the ancient spirits know how everything came into existence. What they do know is that the spirits came into existence in order to govern over natural phenomenon. Be it the seas, mountains, valleys over even the sky and earth itself. For all that is on earth there are spirits that preserve the balance so that all life could flourish. For all phenomenon there are spirits, except for one. Humanity.
Many thousands of years ago a great forest grew in what we would now call northern China. Húshén, the Fox goddess who is closely related to nature recognized the beauty and created an immortal Fox spirit by the name of Tianwu to guard over the place, preserve its balance so that all species who lived there could flourish. For thousands of years Tianwu nurtured his sanctuary, always preserving the balance between the species so that there was room for all.
Dark clouds started to gather above the forest as the first humans settled near its borders. They felled down tree’s for building their homes and hunted the animals for food. During the first few centuries the humans where small in numbers but as the time progresses their numbers increased. Soon the humans needed more space for their agriculture and more parts of the forest where chopped down in order to turn it into farmland. Tianwu realized that humans where an invasive force that would destroy the balance and beauty of the forest until all of it would be gone. He soon started to take the souls and hearts of animals so that he could manifest himself in a material way in order to combat the humans and preserve the sanctuary that was entrusted by the Fox goddess to him.
No matter how much humans Tianwu killed, more would always come to take more trees, steal more land and kill more animals. The battle to preserve the forest was not one Tianwu could win. By the end of the 19th century, the last tree was cut down and the forest and the home of Tianwu was no more. The Fox Immortal had lost his home to humanity and failed at his task as guardian spirit. With such disgrace, Tianwu could never return to the realm of the gods and was destined to roam the earth forever. Enraged by the destruction of his home, Tianwu found a new purpose in fighting humanity wherever he could. For decades he would consume the souls of humans, occasionally eating their hearts as well if the specimen was interesting enough to add to his collection of shapes he could take. For decades his rampage would go unopposed but no matter how much human life he ended, they would always reproduce faster. It was not until 1983 that he would gather attention of some sort of supernatural hunting organisation. In the winter of that year, Tianwu stumbled across a conference of cardinals of the catholic church in Germany. Hundreds of priests, cardinals and other church administrators had gathered in a conference centre to discuss matters. So much humans in such a confined space was an opportunity Tianwu could not resist. The next day newspapers reported about the “Munich incident” where hundreds of people seemed to have died of a heart attack and a good number had their hearts ripped out of them.
The order of the guardian knights of Christ sended their best man to deal with the treat. Confronted by a single human, Tianwu could do nothing else but laugh. No human was capable of killing a Spirit and his name was stuff of vague legends in China and totally unknown in Europe. A human could never overpower a spirit. It has simply been never done. Except on that fateful day when a Guardian Knight said “Tianwu!”
I am the lord of the Broken Towers, the Misty Halls, Cold Comfort, Red Hill, and Joyous Guard, the master of Forlorn amongst my other lands and houses, men know me as Tam Lin, The Last Friend, Tirithon, a captain of Nuadha's host, Elcmar, Oisin, the Lord of Doors, Earl of Narrow Places and many other names. I invite you to my house.'
Age Subject Cu will reply the same as to every previous inquiry: The same age as his tongue and a bit older than his teeth.
Appearance
Subject appears to posses a certain aura around himself; observers describe “a sense of feral danger to him, lurking beneath the neat, suited exterior. Even his walk across the beach was the cool, controlled stride of a predator, utterly at ease in its environment. Closer to his appearance was almost surreal. His skin was perfect, without a single blemish, and had a pearl-like sheen; the pupils of his eyes were almost too large, and his eyebrows ended in a curious flourish. He looked as if an artist had been told the principles of human beauty but lacked any understanding of humanity. But beneath this form lurked something else. His skin at times rippled like water, or a dream, and the man seemed to move before his body did.”
It is in this form that Subject Cu interacts with most humans. Knights who are the seventh natural born son of a seventh natural born son claim to see something else, though these accounts seem to wildly differ.
Special Containment Procedures: Subject Cu is to be contained in a secure holding cell in Research Sector-██. Subject Cu is not to be removed from its cell unless approved by a Archbishop or higher clergy, before which Subject Cu must be heavily sedated. Even so, at such times Subject Cu is to be accompanied by two (2) armed Knights and guided by an iron collar, secured to two (2) iron poles 2 m in length, and held firmly by two (2) Knights or higher personnel while in transit. Knights should be seventh natural born sons whose father was a seventh born natural son. Any interrogations performed on Subject Cu are to be conducted inside of specifically prepared rooms (see document 015-I-N).
Subject Cu is to be guarded and researched by a rotating monthly shift. Those in charge of the design of the containment procedures are not allowed contact with the Subject; if at all possible this duty should be left to overseer level personnel. No one is to be allowed to view (on video or through a window) or be in the same room as Subject Cu for longer than five hours. Maintenance personnel are to alternate every day.
Evaluations are to be given at the end of the shift or whenever mental distress seems obvious. If psychological contamination is too great and poses a tangible danger, termination can be performed immediately by the on-site analyst. (The mental health offices are soundproofed for this purpose.) The doctor can terminate up to ten individuals at a time; any more requires the approval of the Archguardian. Vents in the ceiling require regular maintenance for this purpose.
Smoke detectors are not to be turned off for any reason; candles and incense lit in Subject Cu's cell are to be taken as an indication of a dangerous obsession. The leaving and offering of food, as Subject Cu does not require it, is to be viewed in the same light as well. All other signs of unnatural love and religious awe are to be reported along with these.
Subject Cu’s cell should be monitored at all times via a security camera. Should any abnormal behavior occur, Archguardian Cromwell is to be alerted at once.
Classification
Tuatha De Danan. Seelie. Unseelie. Faerie. Sidhe. Fallen Angel. All names for the same, wild magic that hunted Man before he could defend himself with iron.
Powers
~Shapeshifting : Subject Cu is capable of shifting his form into a wide arrange of forms and creatures, though such forms seem to be limited to living creatures. Likewise, Subject Cu’s physiological capabilities are far greater than that of an average humans, with his epidermal layer resistant to many forms of injury.
~Glamor: Subject Cu utilizes magic that can be used to make people see and think things he wants. Humans with weak wills can easily be pulled into mental trance that makes them highly susceptible to him.
~Nature Manipulation: Is able to exert a certain degree of control over his natural surroundings, though the extent of this power degrades the further he is from his source. Such things such as animal empathy and minor elemental control remain accessible to him in his current state, growing in magnitudes of power the closer he is to his Source.
~Immortality : Or at least exceptionally long lived; if Subject Cu is to be believed, he was present for the arrival of the Milletians in Ireland. Regardless, he has remained in the Order custody for the past two-hundred and thirteen years.
~Contract Magic: Subject Cu is able to unconsciously grant a person a power, an object of power or change nearly any event within their power to something as trivial as transporting them to a location or as simple as knowledge on something. He seems only capable of using this power subconsciously and only if a “bargain” is struck between him and the other party. Knights should be warned, however, that brokering such agreements are a Class 13 Heretical Sin and will result in immediate termination.
Weaknesses -Subject Cu finds himself physically unable to cross the threshold of a home, even if threatened with the destruction of his Source, unless he is invited. Addenudum: If an iron horseshoe is placed above the door, Subject Cu cannot approach within thirty feet of the building.
-Subject Cu finds himself physically unable to touch any creature so long as is wearing some form of red thread, even if threatened with the destruction of his Source. Synthetics such as nylon and other polymers have no protection, nor does this protection safeguard against other forms of assault, such as humans under Subject Cu’s glamour.
-Subject Cu finds himself unable to perform glamours or manipulate nature in the presence of rowan wood. The amount of such wood present effects the overall radius of this barrier. A block measuring a single cubic foot of such wood extends a defense of three feet, a three foot cubic block would extend nine feet.
-Upon contact with treated and untreated iron, Subject Cu’s highly resistant epidermal suffers injury akin to that of a third degree burn. According to the subject, the mere presence of iron is enough to induce feeling of nausea and illness and subject will make every attempt to avoid at all costs.
-Subject Cu finds himself physically unable to cross a line of salt, even if threatened with the destruction of his Source. While he is perfectly capable of going around such a barrier if permitted, the act of stepping over seems entirely beyond him. The distant he maintains from such defenses varies depends on the amount used.
-Subject Cu is incapable of lying. The subject has only ever been determined to tell the truth, however, the extent of "what the truth is" varies wildly. Oftentimes, when interrogated, the Subject will talk in circles with their riddles, cryptic meanings, or sometimes just nonsense. While snippets of factual information has been gleamed from careful analysis of these conversations, all interrogators thus far admit that such efforts are exhausting. The subject bends the truth so hard, it almost threatens to break...
Artifacts
The Crown of Thorns: In times of severe need, the Order is permitted to grant Cu access to his Crown of Thorns, a blasphemous artifact of the First World similar in name to the holy object of christ. This crown of briars is everblooming and everdying in all manner of forest flowers. The crown serves to amplify Subject Cu's already considerable power, to roughly 50% of that the Subject's prior to the removal of his Source. Only a trio of Archbishops, the Archguardian, or the Holy See itself can grant use of particular artifact.
Document 379-09: The following is an interview conducted between Paladin ██████████ and Subject Cu.
Paladin ██████████: There... it's on.
Subject Cu: I still don't understand all the theatrics. I mean, I am flattered to receive company, but this collar is rather unbecoming. Can we not speak like gentlemen?
Paladin ██████████: Repeat into the recorder what you told Father Richards... before you plucked out his eyes... or I swear I will smash that egg myself.
Subject Cu:...no manners at all... fine. Let me tell you a story. Some four thousand years ago, it may have been closer to ten but such things are unimportant, I met Death, the Last Friend as some know him. I was arrogant, sure in my own remarkable abilities. Death is not common amongst my species, we ... we do not always understand him. I was, for the only time in my life, rude. He laughed at me, once I had finished making a fool of myself. It was horrible. Then he made a promise, a prophecy if you will. The details are not important, but it is coming to pass. When first the prophecy was made I took the essence of my life and I sealed it away. I put it under ward and watch, in the place your little Order decided to disturb. Quaint, isn't it? Where was I? Ah yes, my treasure. I sealed it away, for he had promised that only when I had been betrayed, only when the secret of its location was stolen that I would need to act. Only then that I should prepare myself to battle for my life. I have, of course, done my best to mollify him over the millennia. You may have seen him ride with us from time to time, and he visits me once in a while. The plans of Death though are not so easily overthrown. There will come a day, I am sure, when you too must dance his dance, you will discover he has planned every step. If he has nothing else, he has time. Now, I believe you have a question dear at heart that's burning on your mind...
Paladin ██████████: Death himself is after you? You believe there is a way to defeat him?
Subject Cu: There are mortal legends of how a man may play chess with Death. Stories of how one may cheat the Devil out of his due. Those are allegorical, yet they have a point to them. Death is a game we play every day. If one plays a game frequently enough one lose eventually. The point, however, is to continue winning for as long as possible. And I, Paladin, have all the time in the world... can you say the same?
Skill ~ Would be considered the Order's greatest source of knowledge on ritual and sacrificial heretical magic... if they could ever get him to speak plainly about it. ~ Field tests and demonstrations have shown to Subject Cu to be especially skilled in a wide variety of fighting styles, though specialization was focused on pre-Iron Age weaponry. ~ Is a shameless womaniser, and appears to radiate some degree of subconscious seduction to fairer sex. Ensure only male Knights secure him. ~ Keep all manner of instruments away from the Subject. Subject appears to have an above average degree of musical talent, and may incorporate such objects in attempts to glamour others. ~ Barring the event of a Judas Level Containment Event, Subject Cu is deemed a non-expendable resource. The subject's knowledge on faerie methodology and anatomy has proven invaluable over the centuries.
Once we're able to extract the whereabouts of Tir Na Nog out of him, destroy that egg. Humans have suffered from his kind long enough. -Senior Knight Cleric Jeremia Mundenburg
Victor stands at 6’ and weighs roughly 215 lbs. he is very muscular and fit with orange hair that usually stops just above his shoulders. His eyes glow with a subtle orange color and can easily be seen in the dark. His skin is covered in scars and ritual tattoos that also glow, the brighter the glow the more restless the beast inside grows. The man tends to wear long trench coats and thick clothes that can cover most of the glow from his markings.
This creature, weighs over 500 lbs. and stands at about 9ft. It burns. Char marks follow it wherever it goes. Cracks in its skin reveal glowing embers of pure otherworldly fire. Waves of visual distortion float off of it from the intense heat. Little can stop its onslaught of unadulterated force and flame. Made from a god of flame that was forced and fractured into this world, corrupted and changed into a force of judgment and rage. Those that find themselves the target for the righteous fury of this broken god have but one choice – to pray.
Classification: Cursed Human - Forced to endure a ritual that bonded him to a lesser god of fire. something they have kept secret from the others, is with the process of forcing the god from his plain and binding him to the mortal. The god was fractured and is continually looking for a lost piece of themselves so that they may regain their lost power.
This god calls himself Algarin and says he was once called Ognebog, the slavic fire god, sent here to root out and destroy evil beings with righteous flame.
Powers:
Shifting - the basis of shifting for him requires blood, either from him or someone else that’s nearby as long as he is trying to summon Algarin to this plane. Victor will collapse and sink into a pool of black liquid that forms at his feet. This process can be stopped if someone grabs him and stops him from sinking. The liquid cannot be removed from this pool and if it is it evaporates quickly. Within 15 to 30 seconds after Victor disappears completely in the liquid, Algarin will climb out of the pool which will quickly disappear behind him. Once Algarin is done his form will crumble to dust leaving Victor behind in his place, any clothes or equipment on victor during this change is undamaged.
When he isn’t shifted:
The bond: Due to his bond several things began to change with his physical self. Enhanced strength and stamina, he can lift up to twice his body weight and can stay awake for a few days without sleep or fight for more than a few continuous hours before passing out. His body can heal from wounds in nearly half the time as it could before. And the last thing is the voice in his head has told him he will live for 1 to 2 hundred years longer than average.
When he is shifted:
Spirit of Fire - He is essentially living stone and holy flame and is anything but subtle, his flames cannot be extinguished (But can be diminished slightly by choice) and when submerged the water around him boils. Anything or anyone that strikes him through melee takes damage and possibly gets set on fire. He is also extremely strong and durable.
Fire Skin - Anything that he touches burns or chars, anything flammable within close proximity of him catches fire.
Dragons Breath - He can breathe fire out in front of him in a wide swath, other than this fire being holy it burns just like normal fire.
Fire and Brimstone - His most powerful magical ability is that he can call forth a cosmic barrage in a large area centered on him that strikes all enemy’s around him, this barrage comes from the sky to his position and the falling fire balls seem to be conjured by magic.
Immunities - When in this form he is immune to all fire, plasma, and explosive attacks and sources.
Speech - He can only talk to people in this form through limited telepathy, he can’t read minds only project his voice.
Senses – He can sense evil nearby but can’t pin point it, can see heat signatures, and has night vision.
Skills: Strengths: + Hand to hand combat – Victor has had extensive training in hand-to-hand combat to better improve his combat capabilities.
+ Distraction – Victor and Algarin are not stealthy or subtle they are there to take the attention of the enemy and fight, as they put it, they will make sure the enemy sees only them and no one else.
+ Demolitions/Engineering – Victor has studied engineering as something to pass the time but it helps during combat if something needs to be destroyed.
+ Range – Although Algarin is mostly close quarters, Victor normally uses ranged attacks and is a good shot.
Weaknesses: > Stealth – as noted above neither Victor nor Algarin are stealthy, Victor is loud and clumsy while also being as bright as a glow stick, while Algarin is literally a walking bonfire.
> Arrogant – even though he does recognize and appreciate the abilities of others he will always see himself as one step above everyone else. He is never afraid to get into a fight, although being smart about it rarely backs down in combat or retreats.
> Compulsion to cleanse – Victor will always have a compulsion to destroy evil and it takes a good amount of his concentration to stifle that compulsion of shifting and fighting, he learned early on that not all evil people are bad guys. As he once put it, “it may have been made by evil, evil left its mark on it sure, but it’s not ruled by evil. Therefore, I can’t destroy it.”
> Blood Ritual – due to his connection with this creature being forced, their bond is not set in stone just yet, it is something that will come in time. Until then once every other month a sacrifice and ritual of blood must be performed in a certain manner to keep the souls of Victor and Algarin intertwined in balance. Without this Victor would be consumed by the spirit of the Efreet and in turn Algarin would be set loose, left unchecked to burn the evil and corruption from this world. Sure some would like to see this, but without Victor, Algarin would not discriminate and does not have a Grey area. You’re either evil or you’re not.
> The cold can kill - Although Algarin has no trouble in water the cold is another matter for both of them. his flames are harder to wield when in the cold or when facing someone who can wield ice. over time it will gradually begin to tense up their joints making both of them sluggish and slow. if the temperature drops to far or the enemy keeps up their attacks they would have a very good chance at defeating them or killing them.
> Exorcism - With a strong form of shamanistic ritual it is possible for the god to be expelled from him and the bond to be broken. Victor is quite certain that this will kill him as his soul has already been given to the god as part of the forced bonding.
Artifacts or Weapons:
Victor holds no Artifacts but does have a few weapons. A simple long sword that he also wields with a pistol. A standard issue Guardian Knights assault rifle.
Algarin uses his own weapons
His heavy fists are normally used for both demolition and hand-to-hand combat. Wields a whip of flame that can extend from either of his arms.
Personality:
Victor is a strong willed individual, self-righteous, with an air of superiority around him that rivals that of the most elite guardian knights. A moral conviction to fight and purge evil from where ever he can find it, this combined with the feeling of being unstoppable gives him pride in what he’s doing. He can be prone to violence when angered and at times can have a short fuse. However, everything he does, he does to protect the innocent. He likes to help people and whenever he’s not being a dick he will help others. Silent at times he cares little for insults and he feels sorry for anyone that would hurt the few people he calls friends.
Biography:
Honestly other than bits and pieces here and there Victor doesn’t really remember anything from before the ritual, whenever he tries he is riddled with headaches. What he does remember of his past is strange. He remembers being cold, tied down to a stone slab during a full moon, surrounded by robed figures, and dead people. The blood of these poor souls had been gathered and spread around the stones in intricate runes and designs that were all centered onto him. Even he was covered with blood markings and strange tattoos, then everything went dark as the robed figures began to chant.
He can’t remember what they were saying, whenever he tries his mind seems to lose track of what he was thinking about, and he just carries on like nothing happened. He does remember the pain, that horrendous pain that hurt his very soul, and then the darkness as if he was suddenly adrift in a painful void. Something in him called out into the void and someone answered, a being that called himself Algarin the mighty. In a moment the void turned to fire and madness. He always just assumed that part of the forced deal was that his memory and some of his sanity would be taken in exchange for the bond.
Apparently the Robed figures, this cult of blood, were hoping to summon a demon that they could control and wage a war against the Order of Holy Knights that had been troubling them for so long. But in their ignorance came only death and flame, once the creature appeared it burned them, leaving nothing but a charred stone circle that still held its engravings and ash. Victor didn’t know how long it had been, but he woke, hungry, cold, but stronger, with a new sense of purpose, and a voice in his head to guide the way.
For the next twenty years he hunted down destroying evil while also eluding the Holy Knights and their conquest to contain, secure, and protect everyone from everything else. More than a few times he had the opportunity to kill or otherwise destroy these knights but didn’t, he only did it once when he was trapped and left with no other option than to run a few of them through to get out. But not before telling them that they could not stop his crusade of fire. He did not know it at the time but the things that had lured him into this trap where part of the old Judas squad.
After a time he got a strange thought in his head after having a chat with a former Holy Knight who had a bit too much to drink, this man told him of the Judas squad and what they were basically tasked with. The man wouldn’t go into specifics no matter how much he pried but Victor got a rather strange idea, for some it could just have well been a near suicidal idea but if it worked… the possibilities. So one day Victor entered the local headquarters of the Holy Knights and turned himself in, under the condition that he be able to join this unit.
After a few weeks of explaining of how he was on their side and how he was not effected by their holy relics, they sent him to this Special unit of theirs. His reasoning’s for him was sound, these knights had resources he didn’t and could quite literally send him anywhere in the world to fight greater evils than what he was doing on his own. This and he would have better access to more training and what he could only hope would be some sort of knowledge about his origins. He has been with them for the last seventeen years now. The Order has made several accommodations as to allow him to properly do his ritual, be able to let the big guy out now and then in a controlled environment, and he hasn’t regretted his decision yet.
