A few draconic fins sprouting from his back, one to either side behind his shoulders like vestiges of wings, and one alone the spine from the base of his neck. There are also fins on his arms and legs which can be retracted flat in physical combat as needed.
Apparel: While in water R'lyeh wears next to nothing, preferring the feel of the cool waters on his body. However, while travelling on land, he must wear protective eel-skin robes which help retain moisture and comes with an water-storage harness worn underneath as a complex system of continual hydration and breathing. Over the lower half of his face there is an apparatus designed to resemble the lower portion of a generic face with pipes feeds into the water-storage harness. The robes also feature a hood to reduce exposure to sunlight, and is bioluminescent at night.

The animated corpse becomes a servant of the caster as long as they can continue to link their essence to feed the waning pseudo-soul as over time the Pseudo-soul will decay, and begin destroying its vessel. The animated corpse cannot use any abilities of its vessel, and is generally limited in intellect limited to obeying the most basic of commands to the best of its ability. (Lesser Hemomancy) Blood Mark of Eyes: A simple spell used to provide magical vision over an area marked by a glyph or sigil in the caster's own blood, granting the ability to see as if the caster was physically present where the glyph is. The vision range is equal to that of the caster's but also reveals invisible and intangible things usually undetectable by normal means. The Mark will fade within 24 hours naturally, or when removed by magical means by anyone.

History:
How was a child like R'lyeh born into this world? A good question. Perhaps it was the usual way, of blind love and twisted fate, wherein two clans met and upon the union of two souls, a third arose that wedding night. Yes, perhaps it was just like any other half-breed who bore their blood as a testament to the love their parents had for one another despite their racial heritage. A Nayu and Lassa couple who eloped underneath the dark caverns of the deep seas, he from his underground caverns, and she from her undersea caves. A romantic tryst, meeting under the cover of darkness and water, she teaching him how to breathe water, he teaching her how not to be seen. Then one day she was with child, and perhaps she died in childbirth and he unable to care for a child of Lassa blood left the newborn as a ward of the kingdom.
Or was it darker yet? Perhaps their roles were not of unfortunate lovers, but rather of conqueror and slave. Perhaps it was his father who was the Lassa, a royal court guardian who may have stopped the assassination of their queen from some Nayu femme fatale. And as a reward, for saving her, the queen granted him her as a slave, and some years later she was in his service, and bore him a child. Then ashamed of polluting his ancestor's bloodline, his father thought to slay the mother and child, before being killed himself by her after years of poisoning his meals. His mother was executed for the murder of his father, shortly after attempting to flee the kingdom with R'lyeh.
Or darkest of all, perhaps his Lassan mother was forced upon by some Nayu men and he was the product of that unforgivable night. But either way, for a child who was blind and could not breathe air, there was only one calling for him in all the kingdom. In the darkest depths of the waters of Protogonos, secrets were hidden away, locked beneath the immense pressure of the sea, and concealed within her Majesty's court. The vaults of treasures were indeed great, with jewels and gems, and every worthwhile thing in overabundance, yet the greatest of these were not inlaid with gold or silver and encrusted with gems. The greatest of all treasures found were the scraps of knowledge stolen from the realm of mysteries, ancient whispers of the world over discovered on her expeditions and sent to the vault. Forbidden secrets, unspeakable horrors, indescribable things to those who dared to risk a look at maddening scripts that meant nothing and everything. Who better to guard these dangerous truths than the blind?
So it was done, and R'lyeh became an archivist, a keeper of the keys to the forbidden hoard. Yet temptation was greater than duty... Those secrets unraveled, the books which spoke to him, whispers which promised him sight. His own weakness, a lapse in judgment, or perhaps a dark seduction, to which he began to learn the Dark Arts of the World. And that is why he in exile, hidden far away from the Queen and her fury at the one who stole her greatest treasures. The vault still remains locked to this day waiting for the return of its guardian, and the compendium of black secrets he stole.
Exp: With time to himself, or rather with the black books, R'lyeh learned from the worst possible masters. Within the undisturbed chambers, tucked away deep in the confines of Tearianari, with only a dozen visitors a year to restock your monthly supplies and deliver news of the Queen's latest expedition, one could go mad. But the books kept his sanity, conversing with him to read them, their whispers feeding him instructions, secrets to unlock them, to unlock him.
The latent powers of water manipulation were the first to be learned, subtly manipulated as the underwater world like directing the currents of the air. It was his birthright, the ability borne from his own blood, a lineage of water manipulators and healers, unlocked by the tutelage of his own prisoners. A warden who maintained his world, or a puppet of their books as they dragged him towards their ends. Being blind was a gift, for without sight, R'lyeh had to feel the movements of the waters around him, channeling his will to move the force of still water. After years of learning how to control the waters, within its own element, he can create currents to counter natural ones, make cooler water dance, rising from the very depths from the darkest of these books.
The next whispers were of restoring his vision, how they had tempted and proven their power to him. Or rather it was his own power, from which they told him to unlock more of his Lassa bloodline. The restorative powers of water, to heal his eyes, were next to be explored, but this ultimately led to failure, with which they taught him in preparation for the true method of granting him sight. Hemomancy, with an offering of his own blood, R'lyeh could see, the whispers of the books guiding him to make the strokes of sigils, the symbols of glyphs.
It was only after his exile did the books teach begin to teach him the art of necromancy, the basic spells at a time. One step closer to their goal of resurrecting themselves, each whisper a voice of a long dead dark mage, waiting to use their unwitting apostle to rise once more...
Or was it just the voices he had in his own head? From years of isolation and sensory deprivation. Maybe it was his own desires which festered into these psychotic spirits, manifesting within his own psyche. But he was sane, wasn't he? surely he was sane.

Garaten can be very stiff and to the point. He has devoted his life to defending Queen Allo Niscent, and most of his actions will reflect a sense of duty. He shows very little emotion and can be apathetic at times. He has spent time in Sol for training and gained a lot of wisdom while there. He is not inherantly wise, but is very eager to learn from his own and others mistakes.

After years under Queen Allo, she accepted his loyalty and capabilities. She granted him the position of Royal Guard which came with the responsibility of working with and controlling a dragon. He contained an excitement for what seemed to be the greatest day in his life. He dreamed of running to battle with a fierce dragon by his side. You could imagine his surprise when Tamara was presented to him. He was afraid of the Queen's reaction if he asked for another dragon, so he decided to try and make working with Tamara work. He was expecting to need physical power to control a dragon, but he found his emotions pushed to the limit when dealing with her. Tamara is very strong and capable, but is a younger dragon and can be emotionally unstable at times. The challenge Garaten faces is giving empathy and sharing with Tamara's feelings rather than asking her to squelch them as he does his own.

Tamara is a fiery dragon that struggled to control her emotions. She was very prone to allowing them to run rampant and causing chaos for those around her. The Queen was the first to settle her during one of her outbreaks, and she remained with her for a few years out of fear of her own powers. The Queen in her wisdom saw how much Garaten controlled and hid his emotions. Knowing the two would clash, she saw how much they could learn from each other. Since the two were placed together, Garaten has learned how to share sympathy, and Tamara has learned to control her emotions better and not fear her power. She places a lot of trust and comfort in Garaten. She occasionally likes to 'test' Garaten with her body. She enjoys the control she can gain over the weak minded with this, but often just ends up teasing them and leaving them hanging. Garaten is tempted, but is very resolute. His temptations normally create more of an annoyance against Tamara for her actions.

Abilities/Powers-
Shapeshifting - She has two forms and can hold any position in between, but it is easiest for her to be either full dragon or full humanoid. Her dragon form is long and slender with with fins and sails. She can still fly with long snaking motions through the sky. She has two horns that extend back along her head and long fierce claws. She is primarily white with thicker green scales detailing her body and covering her underbelly. Her humanoid form is limited and is still left with several dragon features. She still has horns, a tail, and scales, which act as coverings, since she doesn't wear clothes. They rip every time she transforms, and Garaten doesn't mind this as he doesn't like to wear clothes that much either. Her fins change shape and form wings which sprout out of her back around her shoulderblades.
Acid Breath - She can spew glowing green acid from her mouth.
Healing - She is a quick healer, and can survive and recover from large amounts of damage. She can share others pains and ailments as well. She can take their injuries upon herself and recover from them at her pace. She does weaken from injuries significantly and is known to become paralyzed or pass-out from taking injuries, whether directly or from others. The power comes from absorbing plants energy to heal herself, so if no wildlife is around this ability becomes stunted.

Garaten became a part of Queen Allo's army at a very young age. Fearing being left behind, he trained as hard as he could to please the queen and ensure his place in her army. He wasn't as strong as the others in her army, but what he lacked in strength, he made up for it in speed and finesse. He trained his muscle movements and reflexes to react quicker than anyone else. He also practiced his swordsmanship and movements until they were flawless. He began to become one of the best in Queen Allo's military and was being recognized for it quite often. She saved his life nontheless and he continued to become the best warrior he could be for her service. Rock Hard Hide was a standard training program within the Gaia military. They trained themselves to be able to withstand strong attacks, and Garaten strengthened himself until it appeared he was made of rock. He learned how to use Force Fields many years later when he visited Sol. The people taught him many things and the use of Force Fields was what he came away with most prominently. The Triplets were developed specially for him, when his swordsmanship and style became really recognized. During a training session on surviving ambushes, several men attacked him with dull swords. He quickly disarmed two of the men and began to fight the rest with what seemed like three swords. His movements were so quick that as he made a strike with one he had already let go and grabbed another for another strike. The swords appeared to float in the air as strikes flew faster than sight could follow. He found that the swords were moving slightly on their own even when not in his hand. The training was supposed to train him in escaping being outnumbered, but the session ended with Garaten defeating his 'ambushers'. Three new swords were created with special chains and properties that allowed him to maximize his ability. He continued to practice and grow this ability until he really was able to manipulate his swords with mental abilities alone. He takes great care of his Triplets and at times Tamara gets jealous of the attention he gives them. He named them Irelia, Fiora, and Wu. His endless training in speed and finesse has given him great stamina as well. He commonly races Tamara through the sky in both sprints and across miles at a time. He is able to jump in the air by placing a Force Field beneath his feet.

History:
Garaten never really knew his father or mother. In fact he's not sure he had a father or mother. For as long as he can remember he has been in the care of the Oro. He remembers having lived in the wild before the Oro found him. He doesn't know how he survived as a baby, but he has dreams of dragons that he has never seen before, and feels they may have had a part in helping him. He remembers feeling extremely weak and hungry when Queen Allo found him. Her beauty and kindness captivated him, and began his lifelong obsession with her. She put him under the care of one of her generals at the time. He was raised under strict care and rules, but was still very grateful for everything given to him. He always felt a sense of debt to Gaia for everything they did for him. As soon as he was old enough, he joined the Gaia army. The elite of this army were the Royal Guard. They were like the Gaia's special forces. Some of them were even assigned as dragon tamers for Gaia. His greatest dream was to be able to serve Queen Allo by working alongside a noble dragon and defending the world in her name. He knew some parts of his dream were very far-fetched, but others were very much within his reach as long as he worked for them.
He worked harder than anyone else during his basic and advanced trainings. He didn't have the same natural strength as the other trainees, and found himself to be falling behind in some of the areas that the Gaia demanded. He barely managed to make it into the elite training. This was the final step before the trainees would be selected for their duties. Here the training became more real, and situational. Even though he did things differently from everyone else, or the suggested way, he produced amazing results repeatedly. He was expected to be a failure for the elite class, but thanks to his capitalizing on his strengths, he managed to excel and become first in the elite class. He discovered a lot about himself during this training. Even though he had become the best, he still strove to be his own best. As long as he could become better, he wanted it. Personal time and feelings were things that got in the way of his growth and were shut out of his life to the best of his abilities. No one disliked him, but he didn't give many chances to get close with others.
When the decisions went out, he was granted a position in the Guard. It was a very prestigious position in the military, and was capable of ranking up into the Royal Guard. He gladly accepted this next step toward his dream. He continued to work hard and train often. There were several times where he got to work with the Royal Guard on missions and even the Queen herself. The Guard acted more as her bodyguards while the Royal Guard were actively seeking out an eliminating threats. The Allo made it a point to get to know her guards. Garaten didn't think she would remember him from those years ago, but when he told her his story, she was delighted to see the man he had become. She got to know him, the same as all her guards, and found that he was very loyal and eager to serve. She also found he could be rather stiff and seemed to eager at times. After a few years, she acknowledged his abilities and granted him a position in the Royal Guard as a Tamer. When he heard the news of this he was ecstatic. His dream was finally coming true. He thought about the great dragons he saw before and how powerful and wise and majestic they were. He would become a force to be reckoned with when he had a dragon to his left. He was very proud of his accomplishment and very eager to meet his dragon. He expected a large powerful beast, but when the Queen presented small and dainty Tamara, he was almost crushed. He almost wanted to ask about taming another dragon, but he couldn't question her decision. They didn't know, they were placed together very intentionally.
He accepted Tamara and decided to try and make his situation work. He was relieved to see she at least had a dragon form that was still pretty impressive. She didn't seem powerful compared to the dragon race at all though. Her emotions were everywhere as well. Taming her involved more than just demonstrating power and control as he had prepared himself, but more taking care of her emotions and needs. He tells tales of how his closest calls with death, involved calming Tamara down from her rage or sadness. He quickly learned he would have to show empathy to tame her. Unfortunately, he didn't know how to share emotions. He had always just ignored them or hid them inside himself. He found that trying to feel things was very trying to himself as well. Several times, Tamara ended up helping him, understand feelings and using them in constructive ways. After several weeks together, they finally understood each other and she became his dragon.
After dragon training, they went to Vrondi on a mission to protect an ambassador with the Sol. They were positioned here for many years and both learned much about themselves. They trained a lot together and both learned much from the Sol as well. Garaten discovered his ability to use force fields. He trained extensively with them, figuring out creative new ways to use them in fights and in everyday life. He also learned how to manipulate light, and to use this along with his speed to create images. Tamara discovered her healing abilities while in Vrondi. The Sol showed her how to absorb plants energy as her own and how to help others by taking their pains away. The two have traveled between Gaia and Sol quite often, spending years in both places. Their primary residence is in the town of Pearl in Gaia. They live in the housing provided for them during their stays in Vrondi. Today they are visiting a bar in Sunfire they like to frequent when visiting. Sunfire was a very pleasant place to relax, and today was like any other. At least until some Fotia soldiers came inside. They weren't causing trouble, but their presence was unnerving to Garaten and Tamara.

Having the oro blood coursing through her veins and being a mountain born, Kuvira attained quite a packed build. Weighing in around 180lbs at 5'7, she's considered to have the healthiest of physiques. Under her armor, her body is protected by a thick bone-rocky exoskeleton which she can harden and soften at will. Beautiful, sturdy, black metal dense horns protrude from the temple region, beneath her short yet rugged blue-grayish hair.
Her wings are broad and well protected but at the cost of weight and speed. Bony in its exterior skeletal structure and unified by thick, double layered, leather like membrane but most of the time Kuvira keeps them folded on her back to act as a shield not being able to use them.
Do not let her fair facial features fool you because her sparse but strong in essence tyro blood is what defines Kuvira's character, shown through her blazing gaze and fiery thick hot blood, almost as if it was lava.Apparel

Personality
Kuvira is a very goal oriented person. She sets something in her mind and goes for it, doing what she can to achieve said goal, but follows the path of The end does NOT justify the means. She loves combat but will not go out of her way to create it, but her interest in fighting made her dedicate herself to train a lot in the arts of weaponry and martial arts.
She does not like being looked down upon, but if she knows her places, with effort, she can keep her mouth shut, which is not the easiest thing for a hot headed warrior like her. She's not the most tactical person but knows her way around the land.
She also has a soft side but ONLY for a few things such as her homeland, mother nature and her companion Ryko.

Experience and expertise
After years of training in a mercenary company, Kuvira became an expert at wielding a wide variety of melee weapons and primitive ranged weapons, her chosen main weapon being the bladed staff which is a pole with glaive like blades at each end. She's also a very good martial artist, having been a champion in a local arena organised by the mercenary band. Her "score" being of 200 fights won and 10 lost, those who won against her becoming her teachers eventually.
She eventually left the company, and decided to join a more "noble" cause, the military forces of Gaia, wishing for a more protective role in the lands. There, she continued training having chosen to become a Dragoon.
To achieve her goals of becoming a better warrior, she eventually decided she needed to learn how to wield magic as well. Being born with the oro blood, she was blessed with air and earth elemental affinity. The most she can do as of now is manipulate earth/gravel and air to some degree, nothing too fancy or too powerful, but enough to aid her if necessary.Spells

Kuvira's origins are a mystery to her. All she knows is that she's been born in Gaia, Pearl, having lived with her mother and step father until she was the age of 7. She doesn't know anything about her true father, but it was never something that interested her, except for the fact that she considers him a shitty parent for leaving them without anything. All she knows from her step dad is that her real father is a REAL important and strong figure and if the moment of them meeting ever comes, she will probably feel something.
Having a fighters spirit from a young age, she wanted more from life than just being a farmer/innkeeper. One day, she decided to take her fate into her own hands and travel to the outskirts of the capital of Gaia, where a company of mercenaries had been established a few years ago (officially recognized by the capital's authorities) and joined them. For the next 15 years, she's been training constantly from fighting arenas to being thought martial arts and weapon mastery by the ones who defeated her in combat and agreed to share her their knowledge. She's also done a variety of tasks and missions for them, ranging anywhere between protection missions of both people and beasts, raids on bandit camps, extractions, bounties to the more illegal tasks such as neutralizations, blackmailing, exterminations and so on. Being a dedicate individual, her prestige rose up at a fast pace, gaining the recognition of most of her peers.
During one neutralization raid on a camp of dragon poachers, she and a team of 5, infiltrated the site during the night stealthily taking out half of the camp's population before an all out battle took place. The fight took a while due to the amount of poachers, but in the end they were no fighters just mere hunters and didn't stand a chance against the experienced warriors the guild had, that being said one member of the team didn't make it out alive, Kuvira being the one to bury him where he fell. After a quick burial, when she raised her head she noticed in the corner of the camp, 2 beady eyes staring at her, when she approached, she stumbled upon a family of 5 dragons. Unfortunately, 4 out of the 5 were brutally killed, 1 bigger dragon and 3 hatchlings, only one being left alive and heavily chained to the ground. The dragon was terrified and raging due to her closing the distance between them, pulling and "roaring", appearing very aggressive. Kuvira gazed a bit unoticeably disturbed by the sight, eventually closing even more on the young dragon. "You've been through some nasty hardships little one...but DO NOT let them take you down, TAKE your life into your own hands, become stronger...become harder, protect those you care about and never let something like this ever happen again". After her short speech, not sure if it understood any of it, Kuvira destroyed the chains that was bounding the hatchling to the ground, setting it free then returning to her team without looking back. The dragon immediately soared through the air, trying to get as far away from it's prison as possible, stopping once to stare wondering at Kuvira's back one, more, time.
In the following missions, the dragon made its appearance regularly, aiding Kuvira if needed but mostly observing her and her actions, but she never thought too much about it.
At the age of 22, Kuvira decided she needs a change in her life, from all these missions, seeing how unforgivable the world can be, she chose to join the military forces of Gaia. Due to her fighting prowess and weapon expertise, she was easily accepted. During the next 3 years she served as a low-rank soldier, making her way up in the ranks.
Yesterday was her first day as a freshly promoted Dragoon. She was summoned at the "Nursery" to pick herself a dragon egg for her to hatch and tame as a Dragoon should. Kuvira decided not to pick any egg yet, instead she went to the outskirts of the capital, to a place where the white dragon that always followed her usually appeared. After 1 day of search, the dragon revealed itself to her where she presented a medium-sized dragbbit (equivalent of rabbit in this dragony world) as an offering in hopes of getting the dragons attention. The dragon, hungry as it was, accepted the food and for the first time in years, trustfully approached Kuvira, experiencing their first bonding moment with each other through a long caressing pet. "I don't know if you understand me...but, yeah...I know you still dislike my kind and it's understandable, but I need your help. I need a friend..no, a companion, and I want it to be YOU. What do you say?" The dragon gazed into Kuvira's determined but hopeful eyes then slowly started to elevate into the sky, leaving her wondering alone what that meant. She took it as a refusal and returned to her quarters.
The next day, she went back to the "Nursery" to finally pick an egg to be her companion. Moments before the decision, a sudden roar was heard from above Kuvira's head, when she raised her glance, the white dragon was parked on the building's roof, inspecting Kuvira and the area they are in. Kuvira smirked happily and told her superior about her companion choice, who she eventually named Ryko.

While mostly used for bending metal to his will Rupals hammer has seen the broad side of a bandit or two. The hammer’s head is enchanted so that it shapes metals more easily to its wielders desired shape.
History:
Rupal was born born is Gaia as son of the great Gaia dragon tamer Nowyn and her new husband Elrihn an eccentric painter from Vrondi. Having a sheltered childhood so which lead to his quiet behaviour around others. Only when he was 15 would he allowed out on his own and only when he was 16 that he would be able to go and stay in one of the smaller towns to learn. While his father tried to bring him up on arts and crafts Rupal never had quite the nack for gentle touch required for things like painting or sculpting. Nowyn would look after rupal when she could however being a tamer of her caliber he didn’t see much of her.
Rupal would leave as often as he could for the town of Pearl simply to get away from everyone.
It would be years later that Rupal would discover his calling, while away in Pearl he was taking his latest abomination of a pot from a kiln. The local blacksmith who had been watching him come every day or so with a new attempt pulled him aside and started getting him to work the some hot steel. The older man’s actions confused him while he’d spoken to the blacksmith to ask to use the forge to make his pots while in pearl he’d never said anything to indicate his want to learn the craft, in fact he could only really recall talking to people in this town for goods and services nothing more. Still the Blacksmith was stubborn and Rupal had little if any courage protest, unlike his father's crafts working the metal and fire sparked something in him. It was almost as if the metal was telling him where and how hard to hit.
He spent the next month or so coming to the forge to learn how to blacksmith. While disappointed that his son hadn’t chosen one of the fairer crafts Elrihn was simply happy to see his son working on something that could be considered creative.
He now plans to set out into the world and learn all he can about blacksmithing from anywhere that will teach him.

The colour of his skin is a dark shade of brown, with splashes of purple here and there, though his underside is quite pale due to his Nayu blood.
Apparel: Thaddeus wears standard leather armour for protection, and it has some pockets to hold small objects. He wears a large gray cloak over his armour which is big enough to hide his wings and tail. He doesn’t wear shoes, instead relying on his thick skin.

Personality: Thaddeus is quiet and tends to keep to himself, mostly due to his woefully inadequate social skills. He’s careful and tentative, but he has difficulties reading the atmosphere. He is overly polite in his speech when talking to others and he doesn’t have a good handle on metaphors, which leads to him often being confused by figures of speech. Despite that, he is earnest, kind and patient. When fighting or in danger, however, he gets down to business, becoming calm, calculating and efficient, expressing himself with short words, different to his normal awkward form.

Exp: Thaddeus’s experience in hunting is somewhat self-taught as he’s been alone for a large portion of his life. His mother taught him how to shoot a bow and, while he is rather accurate, he tends to be rather slow in shooting, sacrificing speed for accuracy. He was also taught the art of tracking, hunting and survival by a mysterious old Nayu descendant who then disappeared and left him to fend for his own. As such he’s fairly well versed with animal behaviours, surviving in the wild and the geography of the area around twilight and Nero. He has honed his skills over years and sharpened his survival instinct, but he has never developed social skills.

Weapons: Thaddeus’s bow. A fairly simple and large bow, with minor durability enchantments. It has good power and accuracy but sacrifices shooting speed. The wood of the bow never warps but the string tension has to be adjusted every so often.
History: Thaddeus never knew his father. All he knew was his mother and their house. His mother was an Oro descendant; very beautiful and exceedingly kind. They lived in their small house which sat in a dark forest, in which prowled strong beasts. The family lived peacefully day to day, despite the differences between him and his mother. Thaddeus helped with chores and his mother taught him hunting, and they went after small game together for food. Their life was not comfortable as food was sometimes scarce and it was difficult to hide from the stronger beasts but they lived happily together, until the day that Thaddeus's mother died.
She'd always had an illness, as far as Thaddeus could remember, and it came to a head one day and she became bedridden. With his mother wasting away like that, Thaddeus resolved himself and left the house to find medicine. She'd taken special herbs she collected weekly to keep the symptoms of her illness away, and while his mother had never shown him where the herbs were, he'd followed her one day and watched her picking them. He headed out, determined to save his mother. Through a perilous time of scrambling in bushes and hiding from large predators, he reached his destination, only to find a pale stranger and an empty field, with a bunch of the important flowers in his hands. While initially hesitant and fearful of the stranger, Thaddeus begged him to save his mother. While initially hesitant and hostile, Thaddeus clung onto him and eventually forced him to relent. They came back to Thaddeus's house only to find it being attacked by several basilisks, the top predators of the dark forest. Thaddeus began to sprint forward to save his mother but the pale stranger held him back. Through the blurred tears in his eyes and the flailing of his limbs, he had to admit to himself that there was nothing he could do. And just like that, his mother's kindness was gone from his life.
The old man turned out to be a reclusive Nayu hunter who eventually took in Thaddeus, through pity perhaps, into the hunter's isolated forest cabin. This was when Thaddeus discovered the existence of civilisation. While his mother had talked about society, she had never mentioned the possibility of going to one. The old man often went to the closest town, Twilight, to trade skins and meat. Twilight was never the most active town but the things Thaddeus saw on those brief trips instilled a wonder of society into Thaddeus.
Life with the old hunter was far less gentle compared to the one Thaddeus had lived, but it taught him a lot of things. The old hunter taught him how to better shoot a bow, how to set traps, how to track beasts, how to know where certain creatures hid and their habitats. Thaddeus wasn't the most graceful hunter but his natural senses gave him an edge in tracking game and his patience allowed him to endure for hours on end until an opportunity came. His master was harsh in his teachings but Thaddeus detected a certain kindness in the old hunter. And for a little while, Thaddeus was happy once again.
Things changed once more when Thaddeus reached the age of 20. His master ordered him to take a bow and go back to his old home. Thaddeus did not know why, but he did as he was told. Thaddeus had often checked back on his old home over his years with the old hunter. The basilisks had moved on after a time, but other beasts still roamed the area. He couldn't approach so recklessly. It took him 3 months to clear out his old house and then he had he finally found his mother, petrified, but with a peaceful expression on her face. When the old hunter had shown him a map of Nero, the land they lived on, Thomas wondered how he and his mother had lived so peacefully in the middle of a monster infested forest. The old hunter had told him about magic, somewhat, and even showed Thaddeus some of the hunter's own. Thaddeus had theorized that his mother had a powerful magic ability, and seeing her immaculate form removed all of his doubts. She stayed untouched through all of these years and her expression was serene. Thaddeus buried his mother's statue and headed back to the old hunter's hut.
When he came back, his master was nowhere to be found. All that was left of his presence was a note, allowing Thaddeus to take one of his bows and move on. No traces of his scent, not a thing misplaced to show that the hunter had ever been there, besides his master's prized bow being missing. Thaddeus headed out to Twilight to find out if his master had been there recently, and as he emerged in the quiet town, he realised that he was alone for the first time in his life. It was then that he found discrimination, he was avoided due to his strange colour and dragon-like experience. He asked about his master and all he could find out was that no one had seen him for quite some time. With no master and no idea what to do, Thaddeus walked out of the town and back to the hunter's house.
10 years on and still no trace of the illusive hunter. Thaddeus regularly visits Twilight for any sign of his master and decided to help people in return for money and any scrap of information about his master, the last remaining semblance of family he knows.
Trivia: Thaddeus often expresses his emotions through his tail unconsciously, it droops when he’s sad and perks up when he’s excited. He's vulnerable to being scammed as he doesn't know anything about society, though no one really tries because of his scary appearance. His hearing is sensitive.

Personality: Velvet loves her freedom. Freedom to lie, cheat, and trick others to get a place to stay and food to eat, freedom to heal, avenge, and bring justice for free if it strikes her fancy. Freedom from the very existence of physicality, as her Twilight Steps flicker in and out of the world. She loves not being tied down. That said, a few things still hold a place of importance in her heart. Velvet respects and wishes to help Calidae's goals (hey, if you can make everyone immortal, I'm sure they'll forgive you for the people you had to eat in the meantime, she tells herself), in return for training. Velvet still has ties to her old monastery where she was raised, wanting to keep those who lived there safe as well as earn their recognition and be a big hero. While Velvet has managed to rationalize away Calidae's actions, she has not been able to bring herself to emulate them, even for immortality. When she passes herself off as a pacifist unwilling to fight, she might not be so far off from the truth, unwilling to kill. She has a fair amount of pride and rivalry in her heart as well, which also helped tie her to Calidae.

Exp: The majority of Velvet's training is under Calidae, learning the ways of manipulating souls and researching this with Calidae, as well as mastering her own affinities. Calidae's methods of advancing spell form often go along the idea of "enchant something to make your magic stronger", and "sacrifice blood/souls until you have enough power to do what you want" and so Velvet's magic usually follows the same style. On the subject of martial combat, while she's been in enough life and death situations to not freeze, she's no warrior, much better at dodging away than fighting back. She's also recently started learning healing magic from Taxis. She's been trained a fair bit in crafting scrolls, but has not yet mastered the art by any means.
Spells:
Healing: Velvet's learning healing magic from Taxis, hoping to learn more about physiology to someday assist Calidae's fleshwarping experiments, as well as broaden her magical prospects. She wonders if she'd be able to use her Soul Trap Orbs and advanced healing magic to resurrect someone when she's someday as strong as Calidae is now.
Soul Trap Orbs: Velvet's most potent spell/enchantment combo she developed with Calidae's assistance and training, these orbs can suck in the souls of those dead, dying, or on otherwise on the edge of the void. Once trapped within an orb, Velvet can ask them questions. She has no special ability to force the trapped soul to tell the truth.
Abilities/Powers:
Twilight Steps- While Velvet has obviously not learned the Seraphim art of air walking, or Nayu shadowstepping, a wierd hybrid ability has manifested for her. When focusing on her footwork, her steps flicker in and out, giving her a truly unnatural quickness, occasional sudden flickering jumps of an extra step of movement with no inertia rather than a true speed boost.
Weapons: Well, you could hit someone with that staff, but it probably wouldn't be that great. It's not really enchanted or anything, nor its its construction materials particularly sturdy.
History: Velvet was raised in a monastery, and it is assumed she is one of many abandoned children given to such institutions by poor families who cannot support another mouth. Though her Seraphim blood makes this odd. As a child, her slight Seraphim blood made her a natural at the monastic arts.. But not nearly as talented as another child, Eliphas, whose Seraphim blood was far thicker. Competition with Eliphas defined her childhood, and the rivalry and anger in her heart over being unable to best him soon made her worse in their eyes than even the non Seraphim blooded children. Running away at fourteen, Velvet might have died alone in the wilderness or been enslaved and sold, but instead she encountered Calidae. Lucky for Velvet, Calidae had already recently fed, and Calidae saw shades of herself in Velvet, and so for the next 30 years, Velvet trained under Calidae, gaining mastery in quite a few unnatural arts. Velvet hoped to return home triumphantly, but found the monastery in ruins. Since then, Velvet has traveled the land, righting wrongs, looking for signs of what happened to them, wronging rights, seeking ever more spells and mastery of the mystic arts for her own pride, to show Eliphas, and to repay Calidae.
Trivia: Velvet usually uses old prayer scripts from the monastery for her scroll enchantments. She enjoys singing. Is not particularly good or bad at it.

His front horn resembles a large axe-like blade, while he has a half-dozen horns on the back of his skull. He has four wings which have a sort of blend between draconic and angelic design. He loves the thrill of danger and fighting monsters, making allies, and the sort. There are moments where he may loose his grace in a berserk beastial frenzy. He is also very prideful both of his power and of his blood. His ego causes him to underestimate situations as does he overestimate his abilities. With his sense of pride and honor, though he likes the idea of traveling groups, when it comes to fights he prefers to stick to a one on one or otherwise equal fighting scenario to his already poor judgement. If an ally fights a dangerous foe, he lets his ally fight by himself and merely spectates. Kilgarrah had spent his younger years in the mountains, testing both his physical strength and manifestation on the surrounding terrain and soon-to-be prey. His methods mostly involved more specific use of spells after briefly studying magic, which in turn while giving him little variety or overall knowledge of magic, for what few spells he had used to train with he now uses to great effect. His other method was an attempt of sword play, after being inspired from watching more human-like descendants clash blades. The buff can also be alternatively used on his sword. He carries with him a makeshift sword he handcrafted with the aid of his fire breath. The sword is made of iron, with a 2 meter long handle and a 9 meter long blade. The massive weapon's hilt has engravings to help grip with his claws and/or teeth.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________HistoryKilgarrah was born to two unknown parents of a Seraphim and a Dragon. At birth, the descendant crawled around and at first survived by consuming trash and leftovers in the town of Pearl, avoiding detection while he was still small from the residence as to avoid giving off the impression of a stray feral dragon. In his lonesome childhood, it was there Kilgarrah watched the citizens below, learning the language overtime and watching people come and go. What inspired him however, was when a local town hero saved the village from a feral dragon that had attempted to attack the town's border. So impressed with the swordsmanship and honor the man received, the descendant now found a purpose in life. To be a hero, to pick up a sword and slay the demons that plague his fellow descendants.
Once he decided he was grown enough, he set off to the wilderness and began to practice his talents. For 60 years he traveled the world avoiding civilization as best he could. He didn't want to interact with anyone until he knew he was ready to face the world with strength and pride. He was a dragon, and a Seraphim, the bloods of gods after all.Kilgarrah is derived from Arthorian mythos of a legendary (and supposedly the greatest of all) dragon.

Physical appearance:
Shapeshifting Form: Suleykaar stands at a rather tall 6'8" and on the slender, fit side of things. His skin is more reformed scales to imitate skin as can be seen in its slightly scaly appearance and slightly reddish tint. His hair is of a deep red with black highlights, those highlights actually being his other horns. The two visible horns on his head are of a crimson color with black tips that seem to drizzle down into the red coloring. his left hand seems to be the most human despite the dark claw-like nails while the other is strictly a miniaturized version of his true claw. His skin is also very hot to the touch.

The clothing he wears when shapeshifted is that of a mage that is more form fitting until it comes to the bottom section of the robe where it breaks away at into two sections.
Personality:
One would expect a dragon of this caliber to have an extreme narcissistic, egotistical alpha type personality but he is a contrast to this in most ways. Age wise he is still a young dragon and can be seen in some of his interactions but despite this, he is quite smart and a bit of a condescending prick. His demeanor comes across as sly and unpredictable but this is his natural self.

Exp:
Having learned from some great dragons, dragon slayers and magic users alike, it was clear he had a slight affinity towards the natural energy. He has been training for over a thousand years and is still learning new things.
Spells:
Ignite-This is the first step to his grand attack, Hellfire. The scales on his body rise somewhat light quills as he releases his natural heat onto the battlefield in a flash of light. Now this "light" is technically light but rather the molecules in the air being super heated in an instant. While it does initially blind his opponents (and can be used by itself as its own attack) it is meant as a flow into his second attack, Devour.
Devour-Despite the name, what he is doing is using a little bit of wind magic, pulling the surrounding heated air into his direct vicinity as it is required for the final stage. While Ignite blinds (and possibly burns) the opponent, this creates a vacuum-like effect on the battlefield, causing opponents to suffocate but does not guarantee death.
Hellfire-While simultaneously heating the air up even more and condensing it down into a small ball, he breaths out a quick burst of fire into the center of the newly formed ball of air. The air is twisting and turning in all directions within this small vortex rather quickly, causing the molecules within the ball to heat up even quicker now. Suleykaar at this point is using the air as fuel or a lubrication in a sense, keeping the flames lit and oxygenated. This happens rapidly with a second and third flash as evidence of the rising temperatures. This second and third "ignite" adds insult to injury to his opponents as the second burns the eyes and the third burns the skin. By now the flames have reached nearly 4000 degrees Celsius, glassing the ground around him (roughly 10 meters circumference around his body). 15 meters past that, just about anything begins to melt instantly and another 20 meters out, anything caught within that area has a high chance of catching fire without much resistance. In order to prevent damage to himself (as this goes beyond the heat he is able to resist despite his heritage), Suleykaar layers himself in a thick coating of ice which is consistently being replaced with new layers as the old ones are burned away in the form of superheated steam that slowly trail away from him and onto the battlefield. Finally, when the flame is at its hottest (depending on whether or not he is in his shapeshifted form or true form) He ingests hellfire for only a couple of seconds before unleashing it outward onto the battlefield, glassing nearly whatever it touches. He has a minimum of two attacks in his arsenal but cannot be used back to back otherwise he will disintegrate during the second attempt. Hellfire is mostly used in his true form although he has simplified it for his shapeshifting form but at only half the temperature and damage.
There are many ways around this attack. The biggest way around it is wait until the attack is over as he cannot do anything for sometime afterwards. Hellfire is very taxing on his body and magic so he is at his weakest then. Another is to attack him quickly if he begins the steps as the process to create this takes some time. The trouble will be getting by his other abilities but being limited to fire and frost and basic wind attacks make it easy for those who are of Tyro and Oro descent.
Field of Crystal: Using frost conjuration and manipulation, he layers the ground about 10 meters out with a think layer of ice. From this ice blooms crystalized flowers, spikes and other shrubbery to match that of a real field.
Burning frost blast- Exploding outwardly from his mouth or hands (claws), a super cooled blast of air hits his opponent with massive force, causing small ice shards to penetrate his opponent while also numbing the body (pending the bloodline of said opponent).

Preferring to keep most of his life a secret, those who actually know of his past are kept in his small circle that include the ruler of Fotia. It is said however that he had once ruled the land but had stepped aside for Magnix after a full scale confrontation. He had left Fotia for some time in order to experience the world around him and had returned a more humble and kind dragonlord. He had learned magic from all over the world and some of which from other powerful dragons as well. When he returned, he asked for an alliance with Magnix and as a possible advisor to him, although knowing the man that would not be possible.

He stands at a rather built six feet, 3 inches and a well worked two hundred and thirty odd pounds. His armor is nothing impressive but rather what lies underneath. Painted with scars like a violent canvas, this shows his history, remembering each and every one and what they represent. The most recent and memorable one crosses from his right shoulder to his left side hip, the one given to him by Suleykaar after he attempted to devour him. On his skin as well are runes which he uses in combat, each one carved into him and blessed, allowing them to be used. One on his throat which channels wind and fire, two on his feet, meant to channel earth, two on his wrists to channel water or lightning and a set of runes and words across the front half of his body to channel shadow magic.
Personality:
Despite his abrasive outer shell, he is quite the contrast. He likes to socialize but tends to be more of a listener than a speaker and uses his body for much of the conversation offering nods in agreement, shrugs when unsure and shakes of the head when in disagreement and tapping his finger when annoyed. As well as his body language, much of his feelings can be seen through his eyes as they do most of the talking. When he does speak it is brief but to the point and does not shy away from speaking his mind. One of his biggest pet peeves is actually his companion, Suleykaar as can be seen in their interactions. He relates Suls, as he calls him, as a 100ft spoiled brat, having to babysit him when about town so he doesn't cause to much trouble.
On the battlefield he is not too much different as he is a tactician, finding techniques and maneuvers that can better enhance his own fight or those he goes into combat with. He never yields in his strikes nor shows remorse. They are quick, efficient, precise and deadly, considering each stroke to be his last. This he had adopted as a young boy through intensive and brutal training regiments on and off the field though he preferred the field training as it had honed in his skills with a sword as well as his combative reflexes, now in life acting on instinct rather than muscle memory.
One thing is for sure. Should one attempt to harm Soron or his companion, heed this warning. He is violent and cold as a winter's storm and holds the wrath of a vengeful god. He has a dragon's will and an unyielding heart that will willingly sacrifice their own life and soul to defend what he believes in and those he cares for.

He has been for a long time a member of the Sureiya but has since left the organization. After his encounter with Suleykaar, he has moved more towards the Taxis, helping them abolish the abominations the world has sent loose on its people. He now bares a special and unique emblem on his armor. The flaming sword and green sun, combined into a one of a kind patch, one that pays homage to his past and what he currently believes in...The annihilation of what goes bump in the night.
Pet:
Spirit, a little snow wyvern who stands a foot high and 3 feet long. He had found him in Gaia, in the forest of Lapis during its the season of frost. Spirit is a peculiar little specimen as it a bit unpredictable but not much to be too much of a nuisance. With its occasional chirps and mild screeches, Spirit has taken a warm welcome to Soron, considering him to be his little scaly brother. Soron has developed a few words specific to Spirit for commands:
Baruut (Burn/Breath) - This is used for Spirit to burn opponents
Frie (Fly) - This is used mostly for scouting or hunting
Ren (Return) - Self Explanitory
Sahied (stop) - Self Explanitory but sadly is one that Soron has trouble with. This is because of his little mischevious scaly brother, Spirit.
There are others that he uses but these are most used and heard coming from Soron. It is difficult for many to order Spirit around as it only recognizes Soron's voice and tone. However, Suley is known to mess with Soron since he can mimic Soron a bit, causing Soron to get easily annoyed with the red dragon.
Exp:
Having come from a fairly violent past, he has mastered the art of combat, effectively bringing opponents down in shorter time than most. Time with the Sureiya further increased this when hunting large foes or predators like feral dragons and the like. At the same time he has learned about their body language, concluding whether or not it is simply guarding its territory or hunting for a meal. Effectively he could live in the wild for a long time should it ever come down to it. He can react on instinct and has honed his senses to the wild, allowing him to sense danger in a way. Just as he can read dragons and other predators or foes, he can read people, understanding their body language and when to say something or not to, helping with his social and combat related events. The use of magic and how to use it effectively with little effort also stems from this violent training as he does not have a incredibly strong soul. All of this combined, Soron is not one to be trifled with nor take head on, not without a couple of people to guard one's own hide.

The Whispering Sword:
This is used in conjunction with his onyx stones. He creates a dome of transparent magic (roughly 10 meters in diameter) that allows him to shadow step around the battlefield and nullify the sound within the dome. Now as he is not a full blooded Nayu, this requires runes to allow him the ability to shadow step without shadow stepping. These stones contain teleportation magic, leaving the dome to nullify any extra sounds that come from the stones themselves.

Years of experience in battle have taught Soron about minimum effort, maximum effiecency. This can be seen in his fighting style and stance which is low and coiled, blade up and pointed with his left palm outward for magic. He has aptly named this The Basilisk Stance in reference to his fight against his first basilisk.

His ability to use the runes on his body whether singularly or in tandem with another is honed thanks to his practice wit them at a young age and over the course of his life.
Instinct:
His weeks in Nero's deadlands and the predators that consider it home quickly increased his natural ability to react to situations under stress. This has also worked for his time amongst the people and in conversation, especially when it begins to go south.

He can read people and creatures alike, understanding their habits and when they are angered, frightened, or on the hunt. He can also read the mannerisms of others to suggest what they are thinking.

History:Born within the lands of Nero, he has been surrounded by death for a portion of his life, just enough to remind him how important life really is. Growing up within a family of dragonslayers and mages, there was never a doubt that he wouldn't follow within his families footsteps. His family was a unique one as his great great grandmother was a mage and great great grand father a dragonslayer, having brought into this world a group of slayers whose specialty was in combative slayer magic. Unique in the aspect that most of the techniques required runes. Whether or not those runes were on inorganic objects or on their person mattered not. It was a technique that was passed about their little village of Basille, 10 miles northwest of Nero's known town, Twilight. When Soron was of age, around 5, he was given the opportunity to go through a special family tradition, the ritual known as the Trail of Nails. This required the work of a mage and healer, as well as a priest or shaman. Carved into the body were runes meant for dragon slaying, each imbued with a specific element. The throat, carved with a symbol for wind and fire to symbolize their calling to the profession and the fire of life that burned from within. The feet, etched wit earth, meant to symbolize their resolve for the trade and the idea of never losing one's ground in a fight, to battle to the death. The arms or wrists with water and lightning, to represent the grace and precision in each swing of the blade, painting the earth's canvas with crimson red from their instrument of death. Lastly, the front of their body with those of shadows. This was to never forget the darkness that they came from but a reminder for those who dare to face it.
The process was an excruciatingly painful one but one that would allow him to bare the name Dragonbane, otherwise, he would have been simply known as Soron of Basille as what had happened to his uncle Pyre of Basille. With this completed, he would begin training in the art of dragonslaying, the art of war. He would also be paired with a young girl for who he would wed and continue the line of Dragonslayers. Her name was Ariel. A sweet and kind girl born into a mage family. Her hair was like autumn. Red with bits of yellow and orange to give it a distinctive look. He had fallen in love with this girl and as he trained and grew, so did she and as such the relationship with each other. by the age of 21 he was due to be wed on a cool spring night. But it was this night that would seal their fate. Hours before the wedding ritual, a few basilisk had terrorized the small village, plummeting into chaos. Amidst the chaos, he had watched in horror and anger as his soon to be was ripped in half and devoured by the basilisk, never to be seen again. A few days had gone by when the attack happened and some of the surviving members of the village went out in search of the serpents responsible for the destruction...None returned.
As the pain and distraught subsided, something emerged from within...An anger none in his village have ever witnessed. His fire from within became a maelstrom of wrath and vengeance. When no one else dared to step up he stood, leaving these words to echo through history. "Those...things...They have reaped what they have sown. I will go, I will claim what is mine. Kill them? Neigh...I will massacre them, I will rip each scale from their dreadful hide, I will tear each fang out one by one until they learn of the wrath they truly brought upon themselves. I WILL LEAVE THIS CREATURES AS NOTHING MORE THAN A WHISPER IN THE PAGES OF HISTORY! With this, he gathered his things and made way for the deep ruins of Nero. Many close calls came from this travel. Smaller predators attempting to devour him but none to succeed. He was quick, careful and always weary about his surroundings. This kept him on his toes, never to trust what laid behind a bush or what slithered above. Weeks would go by and he had survived thus far of fthe land and with what little it could provide. One day, he had come across a cave, one that held the tattered remains of a beautiful emerald gown, one stained with blood and the sweet scent of his Ariel. He yelled into the mouth of the abyss, challenging whatever reared its ugly head from its darkness.

Noone knows what had happened that night, but many suspect that the fight lasted hours into the night. The village was beyond surprised when he had returned with not only his life, but the head of that dreadful beast. He vowed on that day that he would protect those of the lands from these scaled demons of the land, the sea and the air. Word had gone throughout the lands from Nero to the far reaches of Gaia, only to be picked up by Sureiya, the group of dragonslayers known for taking on feral dragons. They welcomed him and for some time he had walked shoulder to shoulder with them, his brothers in arms. It wasn't until rumors of a dragon as large as a lake were running through the lands of Fotia. It was "terrorizing" the nearby villages and towns above the main city. A large reward was placed on its head and many from the group attempted to take on this dragon but none returned, much like his time in Basille. Once again he rose to the challenge and made way for Fotia's largest mountain, Dragon's Peak.
Months a few weeks had pssed as he traveled to the mountain top, taking on a few small feral dragons along the way. Finally, when he reached the supposed layer of the dragon he was taken back by the beast. It spoke, quite elegantly. He was confused but nonetheless made a vow to rid the world of demons like him and so he attacked. The battle was once again long and grueling but surprisingly ended in a stalemate. Soron in the mouth of the beast and the beast, who he now considers a companion, Suleykaar, ready to end the life of Soron with one bite. Suleykaar could continue his onslaught but Soron was badly wounded and dying so Suley made a proposal, he would spare his life if Soron swore an Oath to remain with Suleykaar for the rest of his days and never to kill another dragon unless in self defense for him or another. A life for a life. Reluctantly, Soron agreed to the terms and he yielded, the first time ever in his long life. At the age of 50 he had made this truce. With it also came the end of his dragonslaying days. He never did turn in his patch to the Sureiya, holding onto it as a reminder of grand days on the field. However, he still needed to make a living, so he decided that it would be best ot put his experience into a group known as Taxis, an entity that was similar to the Sureiya in the aspect of defense against demons but different demons, demons that were everywhere, including the cities and towns. He would provide security for trade routs and caravans, nobles and the occasional commoner who could afford it.
The rest of his life is a mystery as the pages have not been written yet. Who knows what Soron's future holds. Will he live a full, happy life? Or will he die at the hands of the dragon or worse? Those that know weave the strings of fate and will tell those who know Soron when it is time to cut the strings...
Trivia: (optional) Didn't know that
-Soron has a soft spot for Spirit so he has been known to speak to spirit as if he was a little child. It is adorable but is easily embarrassed by it as he is a man with a tough outer shell.
-Soron keeps a journal full of pictures and memoires of his journeys, as well as old task sheets and flyers he did for work. In the front page of it reads "In Memory of Ariel, May Our Souls be Bonded in the Afterlife" and "If you find this with my body, bury me and bring this to someone who can make a book of this. Any money made from it is to go to my next of kin should I have one."

Qobo, despite his old and frail look, is quite physically fit, having honed his body into such peak performance over decades of studying and training, experimenting with different techniques and styles he had read about and witnessed through the years as students came and went. His body has also earned many scars on his body from training with Sophia and the others. His age is shown however on the parts people can see when clothed. His bald head, his long beard and mustache, topped with long eyebrows give off wisdom and experience life has given him. Now one must look past his physical form to see what else life had blessed him with. Those who have earned Siid Miin (Dovah for Third eye, or as the monks call it the inward eye) can see the vast soul he has, once again built up and disciplined through training the mind, body and soul. With it he gives off a presence of wisdom, respect and sometimes fear. He tends to keep his eyes somewhat closed, unless surprised, irritated or angered. He is seen with long drab on, walking with assistance by cane. When combat or training however, his movements don’t seem as worn through age, precise and graceful with a fluidity only gained through hard training.

He seems to wear what is akin to a hakama, draped over his shoulders a haori and sandals. His cane, or wooden staff, is actually a self contained bladed weapon contained in a wood spell that only releases when he wills it to.
Personality:
Despite old age, he holds a sage like aura around him and can be seen in his actions towards the much younger monks in training as he always offers insight into a situation or counseling when one’s emotions get the better of them. The saying “the youth is our future” fits his treatment of them. He still is a kid at heart, playing with the younger ones and reminding them that being a child is fine and only when it is time they will know when to grow up. To his peers or those close to his age, he is friendly and just in his decision making and counsel with them when it is time for the next young one to begin the Trail of Sight.
When it comes to Sophia, he sees her as a mother figure, having been the first one who she has taken under her wing for guidance, morals and values. He is very protective of the temple, just as much as he is protective of her and is willing to sacrifice his body and soul to protect both.

Has been training his mind, spirit and body all his life at the monastery except for the trail of sight, which sent him through the world in order to help build his resolve. He learned other styles of combat through the Fotian fighting pits and his own style based off of Sophia’s swift movements through the library. He has been trained to handle most weapons but prefers a sword. One crafted by his own design, meant to incorporate his magic and some of his soul essence. In time he had learned how to manipulate his soul to the point that magic use was almost unneeded by him but rather used to assist him and remind him how chilling the world can be with their violent magic. He uses his soul’s energy for combat rather than magic, only using it when in dire situations or when those refuse to give up their arrogance. His combative skills are remarkable to say the least. He has learned enough about the body’s anatomy and where the main arteries and vital strike zones are. His precision in these zones is high.
Spells:
Qobo-Milah: Named after its creator, it requires a large soul presence within the user, it heightens senses, increases their agility, dexterity, speed and strength. Is usually used in collaboration with the inward eye and a blade.
Touch of Tranquility: A five pressure point strike meant to incapacitate his opponent with one move. It’s notable mid level chime sounds are the only recognition of the attack.
Inward eye - Channels the soul from within, allowing him a vision beyond vision, capable of seeing actual level of power within someone as well as vital organs. It also able to slow the world around them by heightening their own ability to register movement.
Center Pulse: This condenses the aura into a small projectile meant to explode outwardly in the form of a cone.
Intimidating aura: As vast as his soul is, he has been able to keep its aura skin close unless it is needed to set another student or monk in their place for getting out of line or to hopefully resolve conflict outside of the monastery. It is an aura of power and killer intent, honed in by years of training and dedication and used mostly as a warning or for disciplinary actions.
Burning Aura: Using his center chi, he can heat up the area around him in a 5 meter radius, catching whatever it comes into contact with on fire.
Breath of Life: This move is more of a healing spell, specifically, a revival spell and only few know this within the temple and none outside of it.The user presents to the fallen person a part of his spirit which cannot be restored. Once it leaves the the user's body, it is immediately materialized into the form of a soul shard which is then plunged into the deceased, almost instantly reviving them. However, depending on how “far” their soul had drifted from their body, it has a 50/50 chance of success. The user will also feel this effect as it does age them by at least 5 years and will feel fatigued and drained for sometime.

A soulbound, transmutation bo staff, capable of transforming into whatever weapon or item that Qobo needs at the time. Most of the time it is used as a walking cane or sword.
History:
Five years old. Five years old was Qobo when he had been left by the people of the village below who believed that Sophia, dragon of knowledge was evil and corrupted. But this was not the case. For years she had left her library open for those pursuing knowledge of life and its inhabitants, power that offered prosperity and peace. But sadly, those who found it used it for destruction and enslavement of others, to which Sophia, in disappointment, sealed herself within her library, never to be seen again. But there were a few whose wish was to simply learn from those shelves of infinite knowledge with the hopes to one day pass it on to the very select few who were deemed worthy. These monks began building a temple next to the library itself, seeing Sophia as a Dragoness of wisdom and perception, of intelligence and advice. It was these monks of peace that had found the young crying child near the gates of the library during morning prayer. Alone the boy would not survive and would die in the frigid air of the Gaia mountain tops and so they took him in as one of their own. Young Milah, the name he was known as throughout the temple, begun learning the basics of life. He was taught to speak, respect others, honor promises and most of all, love. To love what the gods have given him and to reciprocate that love to others. He had also begun training in the Tyronian martial arts as a start into his training of the body as his studies and consistent prayer trained his mind and spirit.
By the time he had reached the age of fifteen, he was old enough to assist in the construction of the temple. Amidst the construction of the temple, his curiosity of the world below started to grow as those from the village came to visit, wondering what the fate of the child had become. Surprised to see he was alive and well, he was offered to return to the village, to which he refused. Even his parents had visited and pleaded with him to come back. “I was given up as a child of sacrifice and now I have come to embrace what I once thought as an unacceptable action. I am a child of sacrifice, as much as my brothers and sisters here. My dear mother and father, you are more than welcomed to visit me as much as you wish but i will not return to where i was once cast out.” Reluctantly, his parents had agreed to this and had for some time come to visit but the visits became seldom and soon scarce as time progressed. He was twenty by the completion of the temple. A beautiful temple it was. A grand room for prayer to Sophia and what she stood for, living quarters which were meek and simple as well as a sand garden, waterfalls for meditation and plenty of space for training. Soon, Sophia awoke and saw what the monks had created, peeking her interest. She came into the temple under the guise of a wandering traveler, a descendant who had found this mysterious temple out of luck.
Sophia had been greeted by the young Milah as her first interaction with the outside world in a long time. He had seen this mysterious woman and greeted her with warm, open arms. As he showed her around, she asked him questions about the temple, about the monks and what they do. He explained that the monks watched over the temple before, during and after the creation of the temple and they were there to simply seek knowledge. But she did not believe him. So she asked him “You monks have been protecting the great library for many years. What fuels your resolves? How can i be as strong as you?” As they overlooked the mountain scaped that painted their view, he glanced over at her with a smile. A young man of only 20 years, responded to the hidden dragon of knowledge with one thing and one thing only. “I don’t know.” Confused, she pushed the matter, feeling that there was some hidden ambition. “What do you mean you do not know? You do not know how to make me stronger?” He turned to her with a sage like tone and responded. “To know that you do not know makes you stronger. To think you know when you do not weakens you. Recognize this and you will become mightier than the strongest of champions.” She had found her resolve within this young boy and with him, revealed that she was the Dragoness of knowledge. With this, the gates to the library opened once again and a celebration was in order.
Skipping ahead a few years, Qobo was much older and wiser, having trained more with the monks and under the wings of Sophia, having learned many magical spells, both of the light and of the dark. He had furthered his experience with fotian martial arts as well as Gaian and Tearianas styles. But during these years, he had noticed that Sophia turned those away who searched for knowledge within the library and so he began questioning her. Having become exhausted by the questions he asked and iIn order to quench his thirst for knowledge, he had sent him out into the world to learn of the reason why. This had become known to future monks as the Trail of Sight. This trail had set the foundation for monks or better yet, soon-to-be monks to complete their training.
He had traveled down the mountain and into Gaia where he met a group of dragonslayers known as the Sureyia, men and women who enjoyed the hunt and sport of killing dragons. When he spoke to him, he had looked into his eyes and saw hate and anger, too much for someone as young as him. This had hit him hard, believing no one as young as him should ever need to experience what he did at such an age. Soon enough he had traveled to Fotia where he had been thrown into the pits to fight. During his time in the fighting pits, he had met many souls whose stories where as vast and as interesting as the books of the library. After a few years, he had earned his freedom and traveled to Vrondi, Tearianas and finally Nero, the place where he finally came to his conclusion.

She's been training since she was 20 in the hopes of joining the Taxis guild. Many hours spent on practice have made the two spells she knows more than enough than she needs in terms of her magic abilities, and twice as much time spent using and practicing with her bow have made her an incredibly accurate shot. She has been able to use all of her blood-given abilities since she was born, but it took time to get certain ones, such as mind reading and telekinesis as well as her ability to manipulate plants, under control.
Spells:
Pause - Stops time in the space between one heartbeat and the next. This only affects a 15 meter radius around her, and the bubble of paused space moves as she does with her at the center at all times. She herself is also 'paused' while this spell is in effect; her heart doesn't beat and she has no need to breathe, and she cannot bleed while pause is in effect, but if she is wounded while in pause the wound will begin to affect her as soon as the spell is dropped. Gravity still works and inanimate moving objects from outside the bubble are unaffected if they are entering it, however all things that were in the bubble to start with are frozen until she moves away from them or drops the spell. The spell lasts until it is dropped or until Alexis runs out of energy.
Light's Blessing - Uses any nearby or ambient light (within a radius of 30 meters of her) to energize a person, causing any wounds to heal either immediately for more minor wounds, or up to 500% faster for major wounds, for so long as the spell is in effect. The spell lasts until Alexis runs out of focused light energy. She cannot cure poisons, or do anything to revive the dead, as energizing someone only accelerates their bodies' natural healing process.

History:
Alexis was the eldest child in her family, who lived on the edge of the forests outside the capitol of the Vrondi territory. She would go into the city almost every day to study and learn what she could about healing, ascension, and magic. She's learned a few spells, but can only use two of them to any real ability right now. She's been diligent in her practice and training since she was 20 years old, when she decided that she wanted to use her life to help as many others as she could. She had a few friends who shared her thirst for knowledge and her desire to do good in the world, and about 3 years ago they all decided to travel the land together in order to better train their abilities. As of a little less than a year ago now, she is the only survivor of that group. The others, all her friends, have died in one way or another, leaving her alone. Still, she focuses on her goals while holding them in her memories.
Despite the horrors she has seen in the world and the tragedies she's faced, Alexis continues on. She's still young, especially when compared to any other Descended she knows. She takes the world in stride and hopes to one day ascend herself.

ExpSerena's training didn't really begin until she was a teenager, she first learned her fighting skills from her sister Ava, she taught her the basics of fighting hand-to-hand, learning quickly and being almost equal to her. When she got her hands on her family's spear at the age of 16, she devoted much of her time to learning how to wield and use it properly, she became very proficient with it and was able to best even her father in a sparring match. She even combined the speed and strength of the weapon with that of her enhancement spells, though exhausting, it paid off, allowing her to endure more physical damage and become even faster with her spear.

WeaponsThe Searstra Lightning Spear is a weapon that’s passed down to the females of the family and Serena was lucky enough to become the next one to inherit it when she turned sixteen. As the name suggests, the weapon is enchanted with lightning, allowing electric bolts to be launched as well as inflicting shock damage to an opponent if struck by it. The weapon also has a slight personality to it, being very picky on who it chooses as it’s wielder and if held by anyone other than Serena, it will shock them until it’s released.
HistorySerena was born to a wealthy family in Pearl, as a result, she got everything that she could ever want, along with her mother teaching her proper etiquette and lady like behavior amongst their social class, it all left her incredibly bored, often leading her to get into mischievous trouble, usually playing pranks on her siblings or the house staff but her fun was usually cut short when her mother scolded her and said that someone of their statue shouldn’t be doing something like that.
Then things started to change when she was around nine, a letter had arrived from an unknown sender, upon reading it, she found out that she had another sibling; excited and without thinking nor really understanding the concepts of an illegitimate child, she rushed the letter to her mother who became furious when she read it. A fight ensued between her parents, but things eventually settled with them and she agreed to let the child should her mother pass, however Serena’s mother was against the bastard child coming to live with them, but since she loved her husband, she would do whatever he requested.
A few months later, just past Serena’s tenth birthday, her half-sibling, Ava, appeared at their door, explaining who she was and showed the response letter that her father had sent months prior when Ava’s mother was still alive. Even with Serena’s mother having agreed with her husband to allow Ava to stay with them if required, she couldn’t help but try to cast the child away, seeing her dragon-like appearance sickened her, she felt as though their bloodline had been tainted and she didn’t want to have her living with them.
After much debate though, Serena’s father put his foot down and her mother complied but wouldn’t accept Ava as an actual member of the family. The same went for most of Serena’s other siblings, her three sisters and lone brother also despised the bastard child, but they complied with their father’s wishes. Serena on the other hand was happy to welcome her into their home, she made sure to personally set up a room for her new sibling, though it wasn’t given to her right away, they had a spare room but it had been used for storage for a few years, so it took some time to clear it out.
For the meantime then, she stayed in Serena’s room with her, even though her mother disapproved of it, her daughter’s happiness was important to her and she allowed Ava to stay with Serena although a close eye was kept on her. For the first time in a while she was genuinely happy, she had someone around her own age to play with and talk to (her siblings, being older than her, often refused to play with her, having found such things to be childish) but now that she had Ava, she didn’t need to worry about bothering her siblings.
The two did everything together and Serena was always there to protect her little sister should her siblings or mother try to degrade Ava, even if it meant she was punished for it. As the years passed by, because of how much Serena took care of her sibling, her personality changed slightly, no longer was she the mischievous troublemaker, now she was more mature and didn’t show as much emotion as she did before, well at least not to anyone other than Ava mostly.
During their teenage years, less fun was focused on and more training in her combat skills, when she turned sixteen, she and the rest of her sisters were brought before their family heirloom, the Lightning Spear, in a room that tested how compatible they were to the weapon. Each one attempted to grab hold of the spear, but they were all rejected, her second oldest sister refused to accept that the weapon didn’t wish for her to be it’s wielder and tried to force it, but this only seemed to upset it, eventually sending it into a rage where it unleashed it’s power, attacking anything that approached it.
Serena would’ve left and let her siblings and mother deal with it, but when it’s wild rampage injured Ava, she couldn’t allow that to stand and approached the wild family heirloom. When it focused it’s attention to her, she stared it down before turning her back to it, waiting for it to make it’s move. When it finally launched towards her, she turned her body in with the attack, spinning around and then grabbing hold of it before slamming the point into the ground until it finally settled.
Since then, the weapon has been hers, she’s been training with it nonstop and it will allow no one other than herself to wield it. ExpDuring Ava’s childhood when her mother was still alive, she was taught how to fly and how to use her dragon attributes to her advantage, she became well versed in hand-to-hand combat and can hold her own in that regard. When she moved in to her father’s home, she learned how to fight fight with various weapons all through her teenage year, although she’s competent with them, her sister holds the strength in that department.

WeaponsAside from her claws and tail, she also has a scythe, it having the attribute of a dragon, representing her heritage and where she came from.
HistoryAva was born an illegitimate child to the Searstra family, her father who was Seraphim and mother who was a dragon had met in Pearl town at Savvan’s Inn. Captivated by her mother’s human appearance, he bought her a drink, eventually that lead into the two of them sharing a passionate one night stand, then a few months later, Ava was born.
Feeling that the man who got her pregnant should know about his child, she wrote a letter to him after getting some information on who he was, even if he hadn’t wished to be apart of Ava’s life, she still felt it was the courteous thing to do. His response was a positive one, though he said he couldn’t actively be apart of her life because of the complications it would cause for his family, but he sent her gifts and money as often as he could, since Ava’s mother expected nothing from him, she didn’t hold it against him and was actually happy that he wanted to be apart of their daughter’s life, even if it was indirectly.
Even with only her mother, Ava was still relatively happy and even though she was curious about her father, she didn’t bother her mother too much with inquires about him. Her happiness however didn’t last long, her mother soon became ill and fearing that her daughter would be left by herself with no one to care for her, she wrote another letter to Ava’s father a few months before her passing, asking him to take her in should her illness take her.
Ava had been greatly hurt by the death of her mother, she also was scared of being alone in the world, but then remembered what her mother told her, explaining where her father was and that she’d be taken in by him should she not make it. Packing up what little she had, she made her way to Pearl, though the journey was arduous, she eventually made it to the home where her father lived. The house was a large mansion and her father was very wealthy, it was how he was able to provide many gifts and money to Ava and her mother over the years.
Her arrival to the home wasn’t a welcome one to many of the other members of the family, they had learned of Ava months back when her mother sent the letter to them and then upon hearing that she’d be living with them, they found it disgraceful to have a bastard in the family. The only ones that had been accepting of Ava from the start was her father and sister, Serena.
For her first few months there, Ava’s other sisters and brother as well as her new mother treated her like a servant rather than another member of the family and it did hurt her at times feeling as though she was an unwanted nuisance, but having the love and support of Serena as well as her father made up for it and she endured the abuse she got from the rest of the family. As the years passed most of them adjusted to and eventually accepted her as part of the family, the only obstinate ones being her brother and mother, but that didn’t really bother her, she was just happy to not feel completely like an outsider anymore.
During those years, Ava spent most of her time around Serena since she was the one of the first ones to accept her into the family. Once they were into their teenage years and were learning more about their abilities, they would spar with one another, becoming rivals of sorts, although it became clear early on that Serena was the better combatant, but that didn’t stop Ava from trying to best her sister each time they fought.
Now that they’re adults, Ava’s main goal is to protect her sister in order to repay her as well as their father for taking her in and loving her when they didn’t need to; she’ll gladly give up her life for her sister if it will keep her safe.Ava has somewhat of a sister complex, because of how close they’ve gotten over the years, she’s developed romantic feelings for Serena and hopes she can eventually find the courage to tell her how she really feels.

Caravans are going in and out of Pearl to Onyx and to Tidal, taking out supplies like Fruits and Vegetables from Pearl, Meat from Onyx, Seafood from Tidal and then scatters from Sunfire to Blaze, tools and equipment and Flare, lumber from Sunfire, then iron and malleable steel for hammering from Blaze. The Van Gruff Caravans are mostly venturing and entering cities and towns to sell their supplies and/or buy them. Even though they avoided the Nero territory, some brave caravans still venture inside to sell their wares. Acoly was left behind by his father since he was 8 years old, sometimes coming with him for a year at the caravan.
Ghetsis was the one who took care of the young man after discovering one day of what Ghetsis can do and decided to teach Acoly, having his father and Ghetsis friends for a long time.
