Goblin Luz

@ReusableSword

After incapacitating and killing the rabbit, Luz sat down on her knees and watched as Gird peel the fur off the beasts skins. Taking notes and helping Gird however he requested. Gird seemed to be a natural at it, for Luz had no idea how to perform this task in practice. Gird then congratulation her. "Thank you, you did well yourself? you also look pretty tough the way you took that attack like it was nonthing. I honestly made the right choice teaming up with you." Luz told him.

Luz then offered a choice between it fur and his horn; to which Luz replied. "Are you sure you want me to pick, you're the one who did most of the work?" She asked him making sure. If he insists then Luz will reply. "Very well, then i wish the take the horn, assuming you have no use for it." Luz would calmly and respectfully for the horn would be handly thanks to her new skill.

Goblin Zats & Goblin Gina

Day three outside

Seeing the small family of rabbits Gina, instantly fell in love with them as she sees the four small bunnies that were at the side of the mother. Feeding her young and her not wanting for her young to be motherless, she quickly face Zat and started planning their next steps in order to capture the mother.

"Quick what do we have?" She said as she quickly pulls out all of her equipment and materials on the ground. "I only have this with me." She said as she waits for him, with eyes burning with determination.

Zats had no idea why Gina wanted to know all of his equipment, but he followed her lead again, seeing no reason not to after she managed to capture a live rabbit. He placed his spear and and the rabbithide she cleaned on the ground next to her stuff.

"This is all I have. What are you planning to do?" Almost immediately after he asked he figured out that she was probaly trying to catch at least one of the babies and wondered if it was a good idea. Presumably, apart from maybe Grandpa, not a single Goblin knew anything about taking care of horned rabbits and he was sure she would be devastated if one of the babies in her care would die.

She stares at the item presented to her. Eyeing the strong robe and the rabbit fur then a quick though suddenly came to her. Looking at the nearby foliage, she noticed that it was secluded enough for a hiding place or a secret base. ”Want to tame them?” She said presenting the vaguest and craziest plan she has every thought of to date. “Zat, Lets us make this place our base.“ She said seriously and eager but, soft enough to not disturb the mother, waiting for his answer.

Zats didn't directyly understand what Gina meant by base, but a chance to study horned rabbits in the wild wasn't something that he was gonna pass up on. Who knew what sort of usefull stuff they could learn and maybe use ot impress others with.

He suddenly realized that multiple times during the time out of the cave he wanted opportunities to do something impressive and realized that he had a goal after all. He also decided that if he wanted to achieve it he couldn't always follow Gina around but for now he was fully willing to help her. "Sure, studying this nest could prove interesting after all."

”Studying? She asks quite confused as she didn’t mean that but, seeing him eager, and seeing a small fire lighting in his eyes, she smiled and nods in agreement. ”Yep, lets watch them together.” She replies as she pats his head before she proceeds to a tree which was a bit farther away from the hollowed out tree of the rabbits.

She then grabs the sharp bone that she made and stab it into the tree. “I pick this tree.” She said to him, gesturing to him to grab the other materials and gear they have.

When Gina had settled on a tree she wanted to use for their base Zats grabbed their equipment and headed in that direction. "do you think we'll be able to climb it? Neither of has had much luck your last attempt".

"Then lets not do what we did last time." She gives him a thumbs up, as she steps on the impaled bone. Quickly she points for him to go infront of her and to raise up his hands. waiting for him to get into position and gazing to the bunnies to make sure that nothing goes wrong.

Zats walked over to the point Gina indicated and once there he raised and cupped his hands. He was curious how she was planning to make it to the top of the tree and decided to remember her climbing method if she was succesfull.

Seeing that the bone was still not deep enough, she went down and kicked the bone even further into the trunk of the tree. She then took a long look as she gives her some time to motivate herself and to let the adrenaline pump into her system. She then started running jumping on top of the bone and then onto his hands which she briefly lands on, which she uses to jump again. Airborne she extends her arms as she lands on one hitting her belly with the branch making her gasps in pain. But, with her last bits of determination she positions herself on top to make sure she doesn’t fall back .

After he helped her up Zats backed away from the tree and studied Gina's climbing method. From what he could tell she used the sharpened bones she had attached to her feet like claws and climbed by forcing them into the wood. While it was clever he doubted it would take long for the bones to either break or get blunted.

She quickly pulls out the vine quickly tying it quickly to the bark so that she and he could climb up next time. She gestures him to climb up as she takes a little breather. As she could still feel the pain.

Considerably slower than Gina, even with the vine, Zats started climbing the tree. As he did he wondered if there was a way to make some kind of ladder but he had no idea what kind of material that would take.

After he was close enough she pulled him up, wanting him to enjoy the view she had the luxury of seeing. as she sees the forest, the sun and the mountains that she couldn't see before. "I did it." She said with glee as her eyes brightens as she stares at the view. "Thank you Zat." She said as her eyes watered as her emotions begins to swell as she finished her goal of the day. Though it wasn't the same tree that was near the cave she felt the acomplisement.

Summary

  • The duo decided to leave and study the rabbit.
  • Gina with the help of Zat finally climbed her first tree
  • They enjoy the view on top of the branch.

as they finished-

the two soon shared the spoils of their kill and they realized that the meat was tougher to eat but that was because it was so strong. If they actually took the chance to look into what was once the alphas home they would see that it was filled with different branches and berries put together to make himself a nice bed. It was clear that if they wanted they would be able to sleep inside the tree like the rabbit itself did. No doubt there would be strong sticks and stones inside that would give them an edge compared to their regular sticks.

@Darked13

The rabbit wasn't able to react fast enough since it was still disoriented from the hit to the skull from earlier and it proved to be its undoing. It soon struck at its most vulnerable point and that was its hind leg. The goblin would hear a satisfying crunch noise as it realized that it hit the rabbits bone and thus made it unable to fight back anymore. It would only take a final blow from the goblin to finish the deed and complete its first hunt.

Goblin Arch gained 4XP and learned Intense Strike: Intense strike is a move that brings the user the greatest power through a single strike with willpower alone. This strike can cause intense damage if aimed correctly and when upgraded can break bones to pieces

@Duthguy@Wildman13

a worthwhile view-

The two soon left the mother and the baby bunnies alone and while the female lifted its head up to sniff the air in case of danger she didn't immediately react to it. She went back to feeding the babies as the two goblins began their attempt at climbing once more. They were able to climb the tree and while it was level with most of them they were allowed the chance to see in the distance just how far they truly traveled from the cave. If one of them had a mind to stand however they would be able to see in the distance and old building that didn't seem far from the cave itself clearly deserted but interesting all the same as it would open a new adventure for them

Goblin Gina learned Claw Climbing: This ability allows the user to use claws or claw-like weapons to climb. This ability is only available when the necessary item is in hand and won't break so soon after its immediate use.

Goblin Gird
Figureing out where to go next with Luz /// Morning - Mid afternoon // Day 3

Gird tossed the horn to her before snatching a small flexible branch from the tree. The goblin carefully pulled one end of the branch through the fur and then the other through another place. Really all he was doing was getting it secured, so he could wear it sort of like a small cloak. He would need at least one more to replace this loin cloth of his. He wanted the material from the loin cloth to make something he could wear that could store things.

The goblin didn’t waste much time eating the tough meat, “I sure hope that not all of these rabbits are this tough.” Again the goblin smiled at her but his mind did wander back to the fight they just went through. The rabbit stirred and pulled away as he got close. He wasn’t being very loud, and he knew it was still asleep so it didn’t see him. He breathed in deep smelling the blood from their first kill.

Suddenly it came to him, they could smell him. That’s why the horned rabbit was startled and stirred from its slumber. How the hell would he mask that? The thought of mud cropped into his head. Thick, watery, can be used for good camouflage, and best of all smells like dirt. “Hey Luz make sure you check its home before we go for some better stuff. It also looks like we could also sleep in there too if we ever needed a safe place to sleep.” Gird smiled at her for a moment before moving to the outskirts of the small clearing. He was making sure he could remember how to get back here while he rubbed some dirt over him.

Goblin Luz

@ReusableSword

Goblin Luz felt displeased that the meat was so tough to eat though it does taste good, hell the taste was even better then she expected(According to Ruu everything tastes better as a goblin). As tough as the meat was Luz tried to eat as much of her part of the rabbit as she could. Once she was done she would wipe the blood from her mouth, pick up her weapons and then stand up. Now that she had two weapons, both hands were occupied which made thing a bit more challenging; since if she wants to wield her one of her weapons with two hands she would have to drop her one of her weapons to do so since she had no way to carry the other weapon on her person, not yet at least.

Gird then gave her an order to check out the rabbit nest, she didn't know why but she felt there was no reason not to. So she crawled into the tree. "That rabbit seems to have made a nest in here, but there doesn't seem to be much in here except..." Luz then stopped herself from talking and begin poking around in the tree for a few seconds. "Hold on." She told him before she begins crawling back out the tree with two branches in her arms...and then looked at him dumbfounded cause he was cover in the mud like an idiot. "hmmm..." She asked wondering what the hell he was doing while she was checking out the tree.

"Check out this branch." She told him before tossing him one of the items she came out with. "It's probably better branch that you turn to a mallet don't you think?" She asked him before tossing away her old branch and replacing it with a newer branch that was too her liking. "There are also better stones and berries in there." She informed him.

She then went back in to get her horn back after she dropped it to carry out the two branches. "Okay, this is getting annoying!" She said outloud looking slightly disappointed. She then looked around and spotted a tree that had some ivy on it. She then climbs said tree with the horn between her tree and moves those the lower branch she could find ivy on, she then grabs the Ivy and pulled at it a bit to test to strong it was. It could be better but it would work, she then grabs the horn between her teeth and uses it to poke a hole in the middle of the Ivy, before ribbing the ivy apart at the hole. After obtaining the Ivy she then sat up and wrap the ivy around herself, put the horn back in her mouth, and climbed back down.

Afterward, she then held the new branch to her back before trying it on to her body using the ivy, that way she can carry around the branch on her back, carry the horn on her right hand, and keep her left hand free to grab things with. Now that minor problem was solved then begins covering herself in mud just like Gird(Assuming Gird explains why he decided to cover himself in mud). She didn't seem to bother about wearing mud but she was smiling a bit less than she normally does, but she will get over it.

Goblin Grit

Day 1
First Light

Darkness, inescapable, all encompassing darkness. Nothing to see, nothing to hear, nothing to feel.. Until he started feeling something, started breathing. He? Yes, that sounded right for him. It fit. Sounds, now he could hear things, breathing, crying, his own mouth opening to let out a cry of its own.

Then there was a voice, old and raspy, and he opened his eyes to see an old goblin, yes... he was a goblin too, they all were. While he tried to think more, he couldn't, his eyes slowly fighting to close as it went dark again.

Day 3
Awakening

Once again he woke, but this time alone, aware, alert, looking around at the cave as he took it in. The others had already left, left the cave, to go where it smelled different. Slowly he stood, taking his first steps. His walk was cautious and unsteady at first, but it quickly grew easy for him. Him... Who was he? He was a goblin, he knew that, but who was he?

Another look around the cave and he spotted the old goblin from... how long ago? He didn't know, but he felt he could trust him. With no one else around that he could see, and nothing to do, he made wads the old goblin and the caves entrance.

Goblin Zats & Goblin Gina

Day three outside

Zats carefully stood up straight, distrubiting his weight across two branches that were close together, and looked around. The first thing he noticed was some old building close to the cave and he decided that he would check it out one day, though he had yet to decide wether he would go on his own or with Gina.

Gina just enjoyed the view, missing the strange building from afar. Sitting and enjoying as the wind picks up, glacing her face and body as it passes through her. She was happy and wanted to enjoy and relish on the first real accomplisement of her life in this new and strange world. She then takes a small peek at the mother taking care of her children.

And then to her trusted partner that stood tall and proud beside her but, she knew this would not last, for she sparked ambition and the will to succeed within him and for that he would in one day leave her and make a name for himself.

She knew that he was destined for greatness but, if she was fit for his greatness was a different story. As long as she wished him to be in her side always, but the call of adventure was still greater than her longing for him, she just wished that by the time it becomes unbearable he would be able to outrank it and prevent her from leaving.

She chuckled with what she was thinking and feeling, so she leans on his foot. “Don’t move or I’ll drop you.” She said, resting her head on him and after a while she closes her eyes. With exhaustion finally caught up with her. . All this time her cheeks glowing in a soft faint red. And uncharacteristicly showing her weak nature as a newborn

When Gina rested her head on him, Zats noticed she was blushing which practially confirmed that she liked him. While the two of them certainly got along great he wondered how he felt about her. After all they had only had only known each other a short time, though it was a third of their lives and neither of them really knew any other Goblins.

He decided that he was gonna have to find out and that he should try not to lead her on until he reached a conclusion. That said he didn't actually try to remove her or say anything, as he did like the trust she showed him as well as the feeling of having her head pressed against him.

Since he had nothing better to do and it didn't seem like a good idea for both of them to fall asleep he did his best to watch the nearby rabbit family, hoping he could learn some of their habits and maybe use it to better hunt them as well help Gina with taming her "pet".

She went through a short powernap waking again after a few minutes or so now with new energy to replace her lost stamina. She lifts up her arms and moved away from his leg. ” Thanks I needed that, how about you.” She offered as she gesturing to him to sleep on her lap, until she notices him taking a look at the rabbits. She smiled seeing him hard in work before she punches him again and unlike before she meant to hurt him. standing up and fixes her sights on a nearby branch.

Zats was about to take gina up on her offer, when he realized how it might be interpreted. Unable to think of anything to say he pretended he was too bust too focused on the rabbit to notice what she said. Unfortunatley that resulted in another punch, this time harder than the one near the river, which made him seriously wonder if he had done something to make her mad.

She laughs seeing his uneasiness as he takes a look at him focus his view on the rabbits. So in a sudden turn of events she started running and jumping to the nearest tree branch. In an attempt to scare him and to be worried about her for once.

When Gina started jumping around Zats was worried she would fall and almost chased after her before realzing that he wouldn't be able to catch up to her. And since things would only get worse for them if they ended up injured due to falling he forced himself to stay where he was. That siad the way he was standing showed that before thinking thinhs through he was ready to jump. "Be carefull!"

She turned around, now at the other tree. She sticks out her tongue defiance. [color=red] "Bye, [color=red] She said before proceding to leave him behind. It was hard for her to leave but, she figured out that it was the best. Asuming that he won't follow her, he would be free to get his glory.

She climb down from the other trees and dashed off to get her gear and equipment. Leaving the rabbit fur, and her sharp bone that was still stuck on the tree. They was still as she deliviantly slowed herself down

Zats wasn't happy to see Gina go but even if he followed her he doubted he could keep up with her. He did the only thing he could do given the circumstances. "We'll partner up again sometime, right? After all I still have to help climb that tree."

Honestly with that new climbing method of hers he doubted she would need his help, but it was the only incentive he could think to give her.

As she senses that he had given up following her, Gina was disappointed but, deep down she expected that to happen. She stopped knowing that he could never see her, then a few suddenly see felt sad and happy at the same time, his words sticking to her as she grabs her rabbit and dashes to where she would find herself after.

While running an unknown warm fuzzy but, irritating feeling rang out from her chest. It was a weird feeling and honestly she didn’t like it. He stuck ever growing the farther she distance from him but, with will and determination she set on ignoring the feeling as best as she can, there was adventure to be made and she won’t let it get to her, even if she grown attached to the feeling.

She dashed fast to get some distance but, slow enough to not make the trip inconvenient for her pet. Going without a goal in mind she runs straight ahead to the unknown, to sate her desire for adventure.

  • Gina jumped onto another tree branch.
  • Zat didn't catch Gina.
  • Gina left Zat in search of adventure.
  • Gina became lost.

Goblin Gird
Figureing out where to go next with Luz /// Morning - Mid afternoon // Day 3

Gird looked up to the other goblin she seemed to be looking at him funny with two sticks in hand that looked a bit stronger than the ones they had gotten earlier. “What?” he gave her a weird look before looking himself over again. “That rabbit could smell us. It moved before I grabbed it. Now I smell like the forest and blend in a bit better.” He was still a bit curious about the rabbit hole and walked back up to it.

He reached out to grab the new stick only to feel the pain in his side from where he was bruised. He didn’t catch the new stick. Picking it up he moved it around a few times in his hand. “It’s a bit more sturdy and thicker, even looks like a different kind of wood.” He spoke loud enough for her to hear as she wandered off towards some trees. Gird made his way down into the hole finding it rather comfortable. She was right, there were a few stones and some berries at the back of the hole.

Emerging from the rabbit’s home he couldn’t see his friend but he could hear her in the trees. For a moment he was wondering what she was doing but lost interest with the thought of berries. The goblin split the berries equally into two piles he began looking over the stones. A few where rounded and small but a couple had sharp edges and points. Examining the pointed stones he was reminded again of his injury. A small price to pay. Yet, his eyes settled on something past the stone in his hands.

Girds vision had settled on the tree he was crushed against and walked up to it feeling the thick bark on the tree then his own side. The gears in his head began turning again ideas and thoughts of protection diving in and out. With the sharp stone in hand the goblin began working at the bark. Prying it away from the wood in one piece that could cover his bruise. Now that his stomach was full he could focus on other things.

After prying one small piece of bark off he looked back to the other goblin who had come down from the tree with some thin but strong looking vines and began to wrap it around herself. “Clever” he spoke aloud as he walked up next to her and then up at the tree with the ivy. He pondered for a moment how much he would need before climbing the same way she did cutting the strands of ivy he would need. The goblin then set to work weaving the ivy in and out of small holes in the bark. Slowly his creation began to take shape and the goblin finished wrapping the vines around himself. Mimicing his companion. The small pice of bark covering his bruised area. Goblin Gird did one more thing with the rest of the vines. He finished by wrapping his hands with the ivy doubling up the layers around his wrist and knuckles being careful not to make it too tight.

Once he was done he took a moment to look himself over and smiled at her, “so now that that is taken care of. Do you want to keep heading deeper into the forest or do you want to slowly make our way back towards the cave?” he paused for a moment as he looked around. Just because they had finished off the alpha didn’t mean that something wouldn’t be attracted by the smell of fresh blood. “Either way im confident I can find the way home. But I’ll follow you, it’s your turn to choose the path.” He smiled at her again while looking her over with her new stick as something came to mind. “O and if it helps I saw the other goblins with tools back at the cave. If you wanted you could probly strap that horn to the end of that new branch.” He felt more talkative now that he had something to eat too. Either way he would gather his new stick and berries before following her tucking the sharp stone in between the vines and his side.

Goblin Luz

@ReusableSword@Jangel13

Luz was watching Gird as he copies her and used the Ivy from the tree to wrapping a piece of bark to his body to cover his bruise. "Your not to bad yourself?" She comment back with a smile. "But are sure you're going to be able to fight with that injury?" She asked him looking a little worried. Assuming he answers yes Luz would then reply with "If you say so, we still have a lot of daylight out so I would like to look around some more and gather some more information about what's around here." Luz informs him.

Gird then informs her that she may be able to tie the horn onto one of the newer branches which kind of spark the idea in her head. "You know what that is not a bad idea." She told him before once again going through the process of securing ivy from the tree, afterword she then crawled back under the tree to get a strong yet narrow branch in which she tied her newly require horn one to its end, creating an improved spear if some sort. "Thank you." She told him with a smile.

Luz then led the way forward, keeping her eyes peeled for anything interesting or threatening on their path. As they walked she could help but wonders if Gird was letting her be lead so he could grade her leadership to determine rather not she was worthy...or rather not she was a threat. It was likely just paranoid but for now, she just plays along and acts like everything is normal.

And a last strike was done soon after in the form of a swing to the side of its head. Immediately after, he gave brief glances around before picking it up and briefly cheering to himself. He did manage to get food! And didn't even get hurt! He is sure some wouldn't even managed to do that. And the best part, the berries. He reached out to take a blue one from where the rabbit was eating to see its taste.

If he didn't die due to that, he'd there and then attempt to pluck the horn out of the rabbits head as it looked like a weapon, before attempting to use it tear out the meat from it, avoiding to eat the furry exterior bits as much as possible. As soon as he was done with this eating, it'd be time to hunt more rabbits! After all, even if he got himself full, it'd be good to bring something over to Goblin Grandpa, he did feed him for the last 2 days.

The goblin had taken his first weapon from his first kill no doubt proud of himself. Soon he would start to note that it was becoming twilight as the sun started to set in the day. If he wanted to get another kill he would need to be quick as monsters got much more dangerous out at night.

@demonspade64@ReusableSword

They then wandered after they had gotten the pieces of wood and ivy that would work for them for the time being. They would soon be able to note that the sun was starting to set in the distance and they would need to be fast if they wanted to hunt one more rabbit before heading back. They then saw berry bushes nearby allowing them the luxury to gather rather than to hunt before they head back to the cave.

@Wildman13@Duthguy

after the exchange between the two they would soon find that the sun was starting to set in the distance and because of that they finally realized that they were on a clock. If they weren't careful they would end up being hunted by the more dangerous beasts of the forest. With gina getting lost in the distance it was getting clear that she would end up facing the most dangerous beasts and if she didn't get back to the cave she might end up losing her chance to truly "tame" her pet rabbit.

@Kangutso

He soon saw that the sun was reaching the end of the horizon and if he hurried he could at least hunt for a meal to keep him going until the next day but only if he hurried otherwise he would have to starve until tomorrow to go on a full hunt with his brothers and sisters.

Goblin Zats

Day three evening

Still half expecting Gina to come back Zats spent another few minutes in the treetop, until he noticed the setting sun. Hoping to meet her back home he climbed back down where he spotted the items she left for him. Despite the rabbit hide smelling and not being dry yet he used it as a replacement loincloth.

As he headed back towards the cave Zats made sure to check what Gina claimed was their other "private spot" near the river and decided that whether he saw her again or not he wouldn't tell any of the other Goblins about it. Despite the risk he spent about fifteen minutes waiting in hopes she would show up and occasionally even yelled her name in case she was nearby, knowing that he might attract the attention of some creature he couldn't defeat. When that time was up he continued on his way back to the cave.

Goblin Gird
Heading back to the cave with Luz /// Mid afternoon > towards eavning // Day 3

The goblin smiled at Luz when she thanked him and the then complemented him. He would note it later that she showed concern for his injury. “I’ll be alright, just going to be sore for a bit.” Gird watched her closely as she left back to the tree to retrieve another stick for her spear. She seemed rather intuitive when it came to wrapping the horn on the spear and did seem rather happy he suggested it. With her thank you he smiled and nodded while wrapping the berry’s he had in some large leaves he would use to carry them in. He waited for another moment for her to get her things set before leading them deeper through the forest.

The next few hours of walking didn’t lead anything too promising. Other than tracks and animal trails this path didn’t lead to any new resources or to any more food. Occasionally Gird would stop for a moment at a clearing to glance at the sun. His instincts telling him to find shelter before it got too dark. “Hey hold up for a moment” he called to her stopping in a small clearing in the forest. “We should head back now, so we don’t get caught out here in the dark.”

He was glancing around while saying this and spotted a blue berry bush near them. He approached it and started picking the blue berry’s leaving the yellow and green ones as they were. The other berries where smaller, and they were not in the rabbits home when they inspected it. He spent a few minutes picking through the berries until his small pouch was full. He stopped for a moment again and glanced around. “So if you want to stay out here that’s fine. But, I’m going back to the cave.” His instincts were beginning to blare at him to hurry to safety, something about night spooked him a bit. The last thing he wanted was to return to that darkness. The goblin would wait for his companion if she chooses to come with him for a moment before following their tracks and trail back towards the cave.

Goblin Luz

@ReusableSword@Jangel13

Luz was getting slightly disappointed, as the path she led Gird down had nothing on it except a berry bush. That was unfortunate but at the time maybe it was for the best. Though she did not plan for it the misfortune of not finding much allowed her to play her cards close to her chest for a bit longer. "Hmmm, guess i was unlucky today." She told him sounding slightly disappointed. She then looked at the sun, that looked like it was about to set, it made her feel uneased...like something bad was going to happen if she doesn't take shelter soon.

“Hey hold up for a moment” he called to her stopping in a small clearing in the forest. “We should head back now, so we don’t get caught out here in the dark.”

Luz looked at Gird and thought this is interesting so it isn't just me? Luz then cleared her throat. "Very well go on ahead. I'll hunt for Just a little bit longer then i'll meet you at the cave before it get dark." Luz told him calmly. Of counse she may not be able fulfill that last promise...

Goblin Zats & Goblin Gina

Day three outside/ Soon dusk

The young female goblin continued on, running unknowingly towards the directions of the old buildings that her partner saw. Her heart beating with excitement, with every step and with her bounty besides her with its horns stuck in one place. She doesn't notice the sun go down, carelessly treating the absent of light with the shade of the trees besides her. She was excited, not knowing the dangers that she would face alone the way, blindly making her way into the ever growing darkness, her adrenaline pumping and still full of optimism and energy as she dashes forth.

  • Gina continues on her path.
  • She didn't notice the sun go down.
  • Gina became lost.

"The sun, is almost setting." Goblin Arch muttered to himself after finishing to eat... he held the horn with a hand and the branch on another. With that, he went off to hunt another rabbit, this time more sure of his abilities to take one down. He even searched as close to the cave as plausible, hopefully so that after killing it he could run back to the cave.

Goblin Grit

As Grit approached the old goblin, he opened his mouth to speak of for a growl from his stomach to make him pause. Right now hunger was at the forefront of his mind, and so he stepped out of the cave into the forest. He was immediately wary, the darkening sky giving him the feeling that he shouldn't be out after dark. With that in mind Grit walked just a little ways into the brush andbegan searching for berries to eat.

Considering how far he was from the cave entrance, it would be fairly difficult to find enough to sate himself. That said, he hoped he would be fortunate enough to gather enough missed berries to fill his hand. He would be sure to head back to the cave once he had a handful or it got much darker.

Those that went back-

As they both traveled their own ways towards the cave once again it didn't take long for them to meet back up together near the entrance to the cave where they would notice two of their other brother @Darked13 Goblin Arch still trying to hunt nearby even though that the sun was setting more and more as it started to become darker indicating night was nearly their.

@demonspade64

Just a little longer!

That was what the goblin said as she started to search for any indications of rabbits but instead, there were no bunnies still roaming around. Even they knew better than to be out after dark. Instead what soon heard was a bone-chilling howl in the distance indicating the sound of wolves coming out to finally feast for the night and look for prey that was still out at night. If she didn't run back to the cave quick enough or find a good enough hiding spot she would be the first casualty of the clan.

@Kangutso

Berries berries so many berries-

While the area near the cave wasn't as abundant with other fruits he was able to find a few bushes of berries nearby but they were of different colors so if he wanted to avoid being poisoned he would have to ask grandpa or wait for his brothers or sisters to come back and hope they would give them their scraps or tell him if one of the berries were poisonous or not.

@Wildman13

Spooky!-

Goblin Gina didn't notice but it was getting darker and darker. She kept moving forward and unknowingly found herself near the building and from her vantage point in the tree it turned out to actually be an abandoned church. The outside of the church was covered in vines and moss showing how dilapidated it has become without maintenance, however, the building itself was more or less intact and had strong stone walls clearly a perfect place to hide for a while... at least from a distance

She would also see what looked to be gravemarkers in the back of the church and depending on her actions she would be the first to die in what was essentially a new world to the small goblin. The goblin may have been excited to run around and play but she could feel an unnatural chill go down her spine as her body started to feel cold just in the presence of the church, it was her fight or flight instinct and it was telling her it was time for flight, the question was, would the goblin listen?

Goblin Gird
At the cave talking with Goblin Grandpa /// towards evening > Night // Day 3

The fast walk back to the cave was rather uneventful. He did stop for a moment again near the hollow tree to reapply the mud and maybe scavenge just a few more berries. But soon, the land scape slowly turned back into the patchwork of trails and light underbrush. For him this confirmed that his instinctual sense of direction wasn't off by too much and would only add to his confidence when out in the forest.

The goblin did notice a few others that woke up with him this morning heading back towards the cave. The others didn't look like they were banged up as bad as he was. His thoughts made him feel the injury at his side, the slight sting was a painful lesson. At least now he knew to be a bit more careful. "Come brothers!" he called out to no one in particular, "The night is fast approaching and our prey has gone to ground. Now we must rest for another day of hunting in the morning."

Goblin Gird was in high spirits although a bit sore with the ever lingering feeling of hunger at the back of his mind. A feeling that pushed him to do better and to take any opportunity to find food. The blueberries he found earlier where sweet and only a little sour. They helped to stifle his hunger as he walked. Now he still had things to do, first on this list was find that old goblin and ask him some questions, then train with this stick and his fists. He felt he needed to better train himself and become stronger, so he could help and survive.

It only took the young goblin a few minutes to eventually find that old goblin off by himself in the cave, "Goblin Grandpa. I have unfortunately returned without my hunting partner. Goblin Luz said she wanted to hunt a bit longer when I decided to head back, thought you should know." Gird looked around the cave for a moment before looking back to his elder. "I don't know about the others though but I do want to ask you something." again he paused as he took the rabbit fur cloak off.

"The first thing you told us was nothing in this world comes free. So I would like to trade you this fur for knowledge." he held out the Alpha horned rabbit pelt towards the elder. "The knowledge I seek is what creatures do you know of reside within this forest, where I can find them, and how do I hunt them?" straight forward and to the point, he wasn't trying to sugar coat his intentions. The goblin was simply trying to get a leg up in this world but not necessarily over the other goblins.

Grandpa's advice-

The old goblin had been eating a piece of jerky in the storage area. He had stayed by the entrance of the cave all day simply making sure the place was safe for when the young ones came back. He saw that grit was sleeping to long and didn't get to hunt like the others but grandpa wouldn't give him food anymore. He made that clear nothing comes free and he wouldn't keep feeding them now that they were strong enough to hunt.

Soon one of the other young ones came over to him saying that another goblin was out at night making him sigh exasperated hoping he wouldn't have to dig a grave so soon. When the young one gave him a pelt he asked for knowledge in return, grandpa looked at it and really examined that it was an alpha skin and those were tough to take down. He will admit in his old age that things felt colder so this pelt would do nicely. He wrapped it around his neck wearing it like a coat before smiling at him and tapping his cane in front of him at the ground signaling for the young one to sit and listen.

"first off I am impressed you took down an alpha rabbit. Thank you for the pelt even if you are trading information for it" he said with a light laugh before he got serious and started to explain "the rabbits you have already met are easy to find as they prefer bushes and berries they aren't hard to find. Their are beasts known as vipers and they are snakes larger then yourself, dangerously poisonous if you use this cave as your starting point" he paused drawing an X in front of him to indicate the cave. "they are found to the south east. Next are spiders and they are found to the northeast. Both poisonous so you won't deal with them at the same time. Keep in mind the farther your travel from this cave the more dangerous the beasts. The wolves can be beaten however their threat is in their numbers and how they coordinate never attack a pack alone as its suicide. They are found to the west but during the night they travel to the east which is where we are they know better then to come in the cave but outside your fair game. Finally bats are usually found in the north and prefer to hide in trees to avoid sunlight. That's all I can provide so don't be stupid and die" he said with a laugh patting his head gently like a father would a son. He then said "don't die, I hate for any of you to end you lives so soon" he said before pulling his hand back and giving him a nod to let him know that's all he would get for now.
