Bio:

A relatively young warlord, born and trained in the capital. He earned his rank and title from his family, and through consistent success and impressive feats.His talents reside in training others and fighting with a singular sword. In his early years, he was quick to make connections with other warlords and strong warriors and made a name for himself by impressing them when fighting alongside them. Later on, he made a name for being able to train virtually anyone, by adopting a new mindset over what could become a warrior- under the thought not everyone can fight the same way and still be just as good as someone else that way.

In an attempt to punish his arrogance, and rid himself of a nuisance, a fellow warrior and family friend sent to Vonnath his youngest son. This son was an unusual man, being more gem than Drakkan. Small, feeble, and not as strong it was surely an oddity born and no easy challenge. Vonnath found himself thinking; “If I were smaller, how would I have to fight to be as good a fighter as a Drakkan?”. It was a curious note, and even a touch revolting, however, it led him to an even more curious discovery. Smaller races can be just as vicious as a Drakkan if given the time and training.

At the end of his training this young man he set out on a test, which came crashing down around him in disaster. His men slaughtered, himself gravely wounded, and his charge both outnumbered and in danger, he lost himself in Rage. In his rage he tore apart the ambush they fell prey to, and left as he and death on his way in a fury unknown and distrusted to Drakken kind. So fierce and untamed was his wrath that most would consider Vonnath a Danger, rather than an asset or leader.

Other notes:
Vonnath is a Berserker, and as such only has a singular element that is not well controlled outside of his beastly rage, in which case the control of his element is only slightly better- if not less predictable- then a normal Drakkan

Important side note

This character's backstory is a collab with BlackPanther, and more information can be given if required. This was done so that GM's didn't have to read through 10 - 13 paragraphs of fluff when only 3-4 is needed.

Bio:
Ineraz is one of the younger sons of an influential War lord who is still in his prime at 403 – the head of Evrenarth family, a male by the name of Na'ir. Having several siblings close his age and several much older, the rivalry in the family harsh; nothing unusual for a Drakken family. Na’ir however had perhaps a peculiar way of rearing his family, not only did he let the children compete freely among themselves (there were plenty of times he expressly forbade it), Na’ir cultivated and culled them through various training missions, trials and challenges. His father’s intelligence was always obvious to Ineraz, for Na’ir never kept more children than he had use of and at least some amount of control over. His sons all respect him and his leadership either genuinely or out of necessity.

And while Ineraz certainly admires his father’s abilities, if not his capricious character, his one true fond memory of Na’ir must be his storytelling. The one time that all his sons could be counted on not to start any infighting was whenever Na’ir regaled them with stories of their grandfather and grand-grandfather and their (prominent) role in the war against the Anathos and its aftermath. Those were the stories that motivated all of the children to train with even more vigour, to learn even the lessons that they would rather skip on and to seek greater challenges. These were the stories that began Ineraz’s interest in history and might have turned him into a scholar if he had been born as part of another race. While his father encouraged anything that could one day be an advantage, he generally prevented his sons from becoming obsessed (but had no qualms against using such desires, especially if they were of the blood-lust kind, for his own gain).

Na’ir brought out the potential as a warrior Ineraz showed even as a youngling, and polished his rough talent until Ineraz befit the role as one of the many heirs of Evrenarth. The question of who will eventually inherit is prominent for all the heirs, but unless they all unite against their father – a very unlikely feat and a tad more dishonourable than any of them would prefer – such a question is likely to remain irrelevant for the next century or so. Combat was not the only thing Na’ir’s sons were drilled in – they were educated in history, geography, algebra, leadership, political intrigue, the ruling family, the contemporary War lords etc.. Na’ir adhered to his belief that any skill, any information, any ability and any character could be turned into an advantage. Ineraz enjoyed combat as much as the next Drakken, was intrigued by some of the history, hated politics, struggled with tactics and had no particular care for the rest. The practical missions of raids, battles, duels, ambushes etc. were a definite favourite.

Ineraz loved the trials and challenges, he really did, but there was something so absolutely galling at having to do it at his father’s orders! If only Na’ir was consisted, Ineraz might not have rebelled. But his father was so incomprehensibly whimsical, Ineraz couldn’t help getting frustrated and exasperated one time, and in his brashness of youth, Ineraz insulted his father in a fit of temper. After whipping him harshly, Na’ir calmly told him that since Ineraz was so ungrateful even after being recognized as one of the proper Evrenarth’s heirs at his 100, he would be sent to an isolated outpost where he could stay until he proved he had learned patience and self-restraint. And so Ineraz was sent to an isolated outpost with a scant few Drakkens who either wanted to curry the favour of Na’ir or were in for a different sort of challenge. And so Ineraz landed at a small fort – named Terva – nearby a forest full of vicious beasts and otherwise surrounded by rocky terrain, with a desert some ways away. The reason this outpost was of some import was due to being nearby water source, a precious commodity in the predominantly Drakken lands. Having spent there the past four decades has certainly helped Ineraz’s growth. He is still an efficient killer, only moderately cruel, a fierce fighter, prideful, with a bit of interest for history remaining. He is now also a survivalist, more pragmatic and determined. His most improved traits are patience, alertness, responsibility and a measure of self-restraint, his temper more tamed. He has greatly come to appreciate information, and he realizes he is likely quite out of touch with the recent tidings, despite the occasional visitors or a rare letter from his father.

Despite being far from most populous locations, Ineraz has managed to do a few remarkable things in his “exile,” one of them being using the nearby beasts to his advantage – he led a few of them to an enemy location where they wreaked havoc as they pleased. After that, Ineraz managed to tame a few of them sufficiently to sell them off for sport and similar, though their use was still rather limited as they were not exactly easily controllable pets. After that, Ineraz became known as “the Beastmaster” to those few Drakken interested in such a thing. Hearing of his new “title” his father met with him and recognizing Inaraz’s progress, Na’ir offered he would petition for him to get a bride in the next choosing. Ineraz knew this to be either a plot or a whim, but staying his tongue (he had learned that much), he accepted with a cold smile. Although Ineraz has decided to live in Terva for a while yet, the party before the choosing will be his "official" re-entry into the world of politics...

@Belle If anything Heccarim isn't as straight up abusive or what not as other Drakken. He'd be more apathetic than anything and more pragmatic. A bride is someone to get him a successor warden and then a reward for service. Although that said he's aiming for a strong willed Gem since other wise they won't be able to handle the sheer amount of horror movie bullshit that the prison he runs has.

Olenna grew up in a tiny village in the west. She lived with her parents, three brothers, and grandparents on the family farm. Her father married her mother out of obligation, after she got pregnant by him when she was sixteen. She was never the housewife type, and it became more apparent as the years past. Her father left to find work in Aldentine since the farm was failing. Olenna was only two years old at the time, and her mother was pregnant. Her older brother Jonas was only six, but he took over the role of parent to little Olenna. Five months later her mother gave birth to the twins, Arren and Theon. Then once she was well enough she started spending most of her time at the tavern, and spending what little money they had on fineries for herself. The small bits of money their father was able to send home from working in the southern mines was also spent.

Two years later her father came home. He had been badly wounded when the mine he worked caved in. It was a miracle he survived the amputation and consequent infection. The once cheerful and hardworking man, came home broken, missing an arm, and with a mind full of nightmares. Olenna was a free little spirit, full of energy and no fear. With hardly any supervision, she spent most of her early childhood wondering around the fields, chasing butterflies, and climbing trees. On nights when her father would wake screaming from his nightmares, Olenna and her brother Theon would take their blankets and sneak into Jonas’s bed. When her father was not consumed with his nightmares and hallucinations he was typically drinking to numb himself and take away the depression.

About a year later taxes grew too much to bare, and they had to sell most of the farm land, all three horses, and the pigs in order to keep the family from going hungry. What was left of the farm quickly fell into disrepair as eight year old Jonas just couldn’t do it all himself. Food was scares, but somehow her father found money to drink, and her mother had coin to buy herself silk stockings, and exotic perfume from Andula city. Her parents never loved each other, and the loss of income didn’t help the unhappy marriage. All her mother would do was berate, and nag at her father. Calling him things like lazy, drunkard, cripple, stupid, and worthless. While he just sat there jaw clenched with shame in his eyes.

Olenna was nine years old when she caught her mother in the barn with another man. Naive to the ways of the world, she thought the man was attacking her mom. So she beat the man off with a broom. The man ran off, and her mother slapped Olenna in the face for ruining her fun. She told her not to say anything to anyone about what she saw. Her mother then started ranting about how she wished her cripple of a husband would have died in the mine, and that she had never had any ungrateful children. Olenna didn’t stay to hear the rest. She ran off cradling her stinging cheek, and holding back tears. This was the first time she had ever witnessed or had violence done to her. She got it in her mind to runaway, and even got halfway to the mountains before she came back home exhausted and hungry. She told Jonas what happened, and the kids never spoke of it again.

Young Jonas got arrested for smuggling about a year later. He was sentenced to three months hard labor. With him gone, ten year old Olenna quickly became more responsible, helping her father around the farm, and making sure the twins didn’t get into trouble. Theon got a job working at the stables in the village, and what he earned was carefully hidden away from their parents. The siblings were counting the days until Jonas came home. Olenna even had a tally on the wall next to her bed, and every night before bed she would draw a line in chalk.

Olenna was thirteen when her grandparents came to live with them. They were lovely and for the first time in practically forever the siblings had people looking out for them. Jonas got married to the butcher’s daughter two years later. It was the first time she had seen her big brother so happy, as he said his vows, and finally did something for himself. For Olenna the idea of leaving her parents behind was appealing, but she didn't want to leave her little brothers or the farm she loved so much. Her mother had a miscarriage later in the year, which resulted in her being unable to conceive ever again. Father knew the baby couldn't be his, as they hadn't slept together in three years. Yet somehow after she lost the baby, they seemed to reconcile. Her mother, the once selfish spoiled young girl, was now a tired woman with old eyes. Right around Olenna's fifteenth birthday, Jonas and his wife had their son Rowan.

Arren, Theon, and grandfather Corrick fixed the crumbling cottage at the end of the farm field, so Jonas could move in with his little family. Their father got off the booze for the most part, and did his best to run the farm with Jonas, and grandfather Corrick. She was eighteen when Arren left the village to find something better then farming. Theon fell in love with a girl named Coralee who was just passing through, but stayed to be with him. Seeing her brothers succeed in life, and find love made her want to do the same. The unfortunate thing was every boy in the village knew Olenna was most likely to be reaped if she was found, and nobody wanted to risk their hearts on a girl who was destined to be stolen away.

The reaping happened quickly. The same Drakkan reapers that plundered through their tiny village every year came through again, and plucked Olenna up. Coralee was also taken, and Theon had to be held back by his brothers as he protested.

Olenna is extremely afraid of being stuck in small confined spaces. She has been claustrophobic ever since she was four years old, when during a game of hide and seek she accidentally got locked in a chest, and no one found her for hours. She doesn't know why she gets so scared, but as soon as shes in a small tight place she panics and can't breathe.

Family

Obrion Wyndell - Father. Age 42. Farmer. Obrion got Soliana pregnant and married her to do the right thing. It was a terrible marriage, but he loved his children deeply. Unfortunately as an air gem, and someone who was never interested in taking over his fathers farm, the farm quickly failed. He left to find work in a mine, and send money home. After the accident where he lost his arm, and saw so many die he turned to booze. He still loved his children, but the farm went to ruin, and he withdrew more into himself. After years of depression and drinking he has slowly started to live again, thanks mainly to his parents moving in to take care of things. X

Soliana Wyndell nee Yagga - Mother. Age 38. Farmers Wife. Soliana never wanted to be a mother. She got married to Obrion when she was sixteen and gave birth to Jonas a few months later. She was pregnant with Olenna when she was eighteen and thankfully the reapers were not interested in taking her. Soliana spent a majority of her children's young lives in taverns. Leaving them home alone to fend for themselves. She had always been a selfish woman, but motherhood made it more apparent. In the last few year she has been trying to make amends with her children and get along with her husband. X

Jonas Wyndell - Brother. Age 22. Farmer. Jonas was the protector, parent, and provider to his younger siblings. Most of his life has been spent taking care of others, and that suits him just fine. He has dreams of becoming a healer, but knows that he needs to stay in their tiny village to work the family farm. Olenna is his dearest little sister, and her being reaped has crushed him. X

Wahalla Wyndell nee Lustrare - Sister in law. Age 24. Farmer's Wife. Wahalla is the daughter of Bruno the village butcher. She is pregnant at the moment. She is very smart, and talented in hunting.X
Rowen Wyndell - Nephew. Age 3.

Arren Wyndell - Brother. Age 16. Bard. Arren is the older twin brother of Theon. He is what people would call a smart ass. Arren was always the more level headed of the twins, and always got himself and Theon out of trouble with his silvertongue. He left home as soon as he could, looking for better and brighter things. He travels from city to city making money as a bard. X

Theon Wyndell - Brother. Age 16. Works in the Village Stables. Theon has always been full of energy, and anger. His temper typically gets the best of him, and he has trouble accepting the unfair way the world works. When he met Coralee his anger at the world seemed to disappear, and he became so blindingly happy. Unfortunately with Coralee and Olenna getting reaped, his anger came back ten fold. X

Corrick Wyndell - Grandfather. Age 65. Farmer. Hardworking and handsome. Corrick is an Air gem. He is quite the comedian, and loves to tell stories to his grandchildren. He always wanted a big family, and is finally happy to have one. X

Jahera Wyndell nee Swanhill - Grandmother. Age 62. Farmer. She is the only earth Gem in the family. Jahera is a very kind woman, who enjoys baking, and tending to the fields. She was originally from Gemini city, but met Corrick during a festival and fell in love. Her older sister was reaped about fifty years ago, and she still wonders what became of her to this day. X

Coralee Felyce - Theon's Girlfriend. Age 17. Dancer. She is originally from Gemini city. Her family are traveling entertainers, and she and the troupe were passing through Olenna's tiny village on their way to the next city. Theon and Coralee feel in love, and she decided to stay in the village with him. She was taken along with Olenna during the reaping. X

Kuki grew up in Prìseil Aldentine. She was orphaned three years after her birth and was raised by her uncle. She had an older sister who was of reaping age when her parents were killed. Her parents thought it was a good idea to fight with the Drakkan and try to prevent them from taking their daughter. After her parents died, Kuki went to live with her uncle. The only other option were her grandparents, who live WAAYYY up north (and since three year old Kuki wasn't traveling that far, she stayed with her uncle).
Kuki wasn't a difficult child growing up. She wasn't loud or unruly, she would just space off sometimes and go into her own little world. Kuki was never interested in things that her uncle thought were practical such as learning to cook or clean. She didn't really enjoy going outside either. She would always be reading a book or painting or just looking out the window at nature. This would annoy her uncle and while he never did anything rash, he would always say things like "Why don't you want to walk around town like normal girls?" or "I really wish you would get to know some other gems your age. It would do you good to get outside more often."
Kuki's uncle didn't hate her, but he clearly favored his two sons over her. He wouldn't spend much time with her (which she didn't mind), and whenever he went away for business he would bring back cooler things for his sons than her, if he even did bring her back something. Kuki was always kind and had a positive outlook on life. She always had a smile on her face and everyone that knew her would describe her as a nice, caring girl.
Even though she had watched her sister and several other girls from the town get taken, Kuki never really understood the reaping. Only once she herself was taken did she truly understand it. One day, the town council summoned all the girls in town to the town square. By the time she got there, all the other girls were gathered in a line in front of a pair of Drakkan reapers. Kuki was quickly pushed into line. The reapers took their time to get a look at all the girls. They looked every girl up and down several times, then finally one of them pointed at Kuki and said, "You." He grabbed Kuki and threw her in a cart. She would've fought back if she had understood what was happening and wasn't so surprised.
Other:
Kuki is quiet and doesn’t talk much, but when she does, she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. If she doesn’t like something or feels that something is wrong, she’ll outright say it.
